*Outside the modeling agency: 7:45pm
I wiped the sweat off my forehead as I left the building. Today's photo shoot was to promote athletic brands and they had us do all kinds of maneuvers with basketballs.
I really broke up a sweat today.
"Sylveon darling wait!"
I turned to see Celine coming with Blake behind her.
"Hey, great photo shoot today Celine."
"Yes it was so much fun! Hopefully we can advertise another clothing brand soon."
"Whatever gets me paid."
"Oh hush Blake, don't be such a spoilsport and enjoy the opportunity for once."
"Fine. It was an experience."
"Much better. Anyways are you free today Sylveon? Want to go eat somewhere nice with me and Blake? Maybe bring your cute girlfriend along too. What do you say?"
"I'd love to but I have a lot of homework to catch up on. These last two years are very crucial for my major. "
"Oh in that case, you better get a move on. Maybe next time perhaps?"
"Sure. Seeya later Celine."
"Goodbye!"
She said in her usual cheery voice before half dragging Blake away towards the city. I chuckled amusingly before heading away in the opposite direction to the station.
*15 minutes later
~ I reached my dorm and set down my things with a sigh. I poured myself a coffee and opened my textbooks.
"Well time to get started. If I can catch up I can be done before midnight."
And get a good 6 hours of sleep. Then study for a few hours in the morning before I start my first class. Perfect.
I opened my algebra textbook continuing to Ch 13.
*About 5 minutes before midnight
"Anddd done."
I said in relief as I slunk back in my couch.
"I'll just sit here a minute and then head to bed."
I looked up at ceiling thinking about my day and then my girlfriend.
I wonder what Eevee's doing? She's probably asleep by now.
*knock knock knock
I turned in surprise to hear a knock at my door. I swear if it's any one of those three knuckleheads asking me to go late night drinking...
"*yawn What is it n- Eevee."
My agitation faded away to joy as I saw my girlfriend standing there. But I remembered what time it was and started wondering why she wasn't at home.
"Hey. What are you doing here so late? Isn't tomorrow a school night?"
"I know. I know. I'm sorry I just needed to see you. I- Sorry I'll just go now. I shouldn't have come."
She made movements to leave even though she looked like she didn't want to. I could tell she was clearly upset.
"What? Hey."
I gently reached her paw stopping her from leaving.
"It's just you look tired and I realized staying was a bad idea. I don't want to inconvenience you with my problems."
"What? No you aren't. You made my day just by being here. You never would bother me Eve."
"Never?"
"Alright maybe sometimes. But really you don't. Besides remember our promise?"
"Be there for each other no matter how busy we might get?"
"Yeah. Come here."
I wrapped my arms around her as she sniffled quietly into my chest.
*10 minutes later
After we spoke and I listened to her about her troubles, her tears almost gone. I felt saddened after realizing how lonely she must be feeling but was too considerate of my own worries to tell me about them.
"How long have you been feeling like this?"
"Well at first it was during the week after my birthday and my mother gave me a water stone. I was fine after that but it wasn't until school started and the subject of evolving came up that I started to have those feelings again. I understand my mom wanted to try and help by giving me an option but the pressure of me having to choose weighs heavily on my shoulders. Do I even want to make that choice or do I want to stay this way? I don't know."
"Baby. You don't have to think about it all right now. You have all the time in the world to make that choice. And whether you want it or not is entirely up to you. Of course I want you to pick what ever you think is best for you. I can only do so much with this. I know this is harsh to hear from me but I don't want to lie to you. Just know whatever you decide in the long run I will be here for you. Every step of the way."
"Really Silver?"
"Of course, I love you."
"Sy- I love you too."
We both closed the gap between us and kissed.
My Eve. I hope soon you won't have to cry anymore. It breaks my heart every time.
Eevee shyly pulled away and I wrapped my arm around her.
"Sylveon? Is it alright if I spend the night?"
"Well seeing as you're already here in the dark of the night, it would be quite rude to say no. I just hope you don't get in trouble with your parents."
"If they ask I'll just tell them I left for school early."
"Alright. Time to go to bed then. It's getting late."
Feeling very tired I crawled under the blanket making Eevee laugh as she followed me. She snuggled into my chest making me chuckle a little.
"Oh wait. Forgot the light."
"Better find a way to turn it off then. I ain't budging."
I raised an amused eyebrow as my ribbon reached to turn off the light switch. The room turned dark and I wrapped her in my arm.
"You really are something darling. I hope I do enough for you. It hurts when I see you look so sad. I wish I could do more for you."
"Silver you do enough for me every day. That is the best thing you can do for me. Now just get some rest."
"*sigh I love you so much."
"I love you so much too."
We kissed one more time and fell asleep holding each other.

Luckily I had time to study in the morning. Once I was done I escorted Eevee to school.
I felt anxious to let go of her paw as we reached the school gate.
"You sure you will be alright Eevee? If you start feeling this way again I'll drop whatever I'm doing and come looking for you. Unless I'm working but you know what I mean."
"I do. Don't worry I'll be fine. If something happens I'll text you."
"Okay."
We kissed each other goodbye both not wanting to leave but knew we had to. Ugh it's so hard!
"One more kiss?"
"Hahaha alright Eve. Mmmmuah!"
"*giggling noises*"
"Ugh you two are so cute I'm going to throw up."
"Good morning Evelyn."
"Morning fairy boy. Sorry to break you guys up but we got class in 5 minutes Eevee."
"Oh snap! I gotta go Sylveon! Bye!"
She pecked my cheek and left jogging into the school with Evelyn.
"*sigh What a woman."
