Chapter: 151
Meet Mystery Inc
Sleepy Hallow, Massachusetts USA
A green like van approaches the infamous town of Sleepy Hallow, as something is painted along the sides of the van which reads Mystery Inc, inside the van are several people, in the back of the van is a hippy like person that is dressed in a green shirt and red pants, he goes by the name of Norvell Rogers as his nickname is Shaggy, along the side of him is a dog and a kind of smart dog that can talk his name is Scooby Doo, who is Shaggie's friend and companion.
Sitting up front is one guy and two women, the guy dressed in odd clothing is Fred Jones, who looks like a classic high school jock, besides him is a woman with red hair and dressed in purple, her name is Daffny Blake and last person is a woman dressed in orange, she looks like someone who is very smart and wears glasses like some classic nerd, her name is Velma all of them form Mystery Inc who have a history to come across ghosts, who turned out to be bad guys in masks.
"So why are we going to sleepy Hallow," said Shaggy "It looks spooky,"
"Yeah spooky," said Scooby
"According to reports the ghost of Icabod Crane has been terrorizing the town," said Velma "So where going to investigate,"
"Besides it will be fun," said Fred
"Of course it will be a typical bad guy in a costume like always," said Daffny
"I'm hungry lets find a place to eat," said Shaggy
"Me too yum," said Scooby
"Didn't you two ate about an hour ago," said Fred
"Yeah, but when your scared you get hungry real fast," said Shaggy
"What happened to the Scooby snacks," asked Daffny
"We ate the whole thing," laughed Scooby
The mystery machine van continued onward into the heart of Sleepy Hallow and they noted it is close to Halloween so everybody will be dressing up, Shaggy and Scooby got scared of the costumes until the van stopped at a parking place as it is right across the street, the gang got out by Scooby noticed something odd like a swirling ball of something in mid-air and then a man stepped out of that swirling ball, then it vanished as Scooby got scared and ran off to find the others.
The first thing Gordon Freeman had done was to check for any combine activity in this dimension, by using his suits scanner and moments later there were no activity detected. He found himself in a town, a town he has never been to before and so he walked down the street, however he spotted a dog running away and he could have sworn it said Roast or something like that, then he found a piece of newspaper in which it details Sleepy Hallow, of course he is in this infamous town and looking around some people as they are wearing costumes.
"Ah of course it had to be Halloween," muttered Gordon "Might as well explore this place,"
Inside the Restaurant
Scooby ran into the restaurant yelling about a roast or a ghost as the dog jumps on Shaggy as they start to shake, while everyone else looked on and Fred, Velma and Daffny went to sit at the table knowing Shaggy and Scooby will be ordering everything like always. Then Gordon Freeman walked in as everyone looked at the strange man who just walked in as Scooby is saying he is a roast or something like that.
"Does anybody understand that dumb dog," said Gordon
"I am not a rum rog," said Scooby
"Right, guess your brain cells are not in full capacity," said Gordon
Gordon goes to sit down at a booth as Velma smiled at the man in which she could tell he looks like a scientist and tried to look up information on him, as usual the gang ordered the meals, along the way asking about the ghost of Icabod Crane. Also Scooby and Shaggy are pigging out as everyone is amazed, while Gordon just ate the meal. Then Gordon felt a tap on his shoulder as Velma joined him.
"Your not from around here are you," said Velma
"No, I'm from Seattle," said Gordon
"Jinkies really," said Velma "I always wanted to go there, but what is up with your costume,"
"Oh this it's nothing special," said Gordon
"Enlighten me," said Velma
"Would you believe I am an inter-dimensonal traveler going through other dimensions about an alien empire conquering all dimensions and has been fighting that alien empire for some time now," said Gordon
"Okay….." said Velma slowly "So want to catch a ghost,"
"Sure why not," said Gordon
It seems the gang is heading out and by the looks of it Scooby and Shaggy ate too much, however they know besides Gordon that they won't be like that for much longer as Fred stands there.
"Okay gang let's split up," said Fred "Daffy and I will look around, Shaggy and Scooby you go look elsewhere and Velma, along with whoever you are, go look as well,"
Then everyone spits up as Velma looks rather smitten with this Gordon person, of course they asked around about the ghost while everyone else is doing the same until screams are heard in the background followed by a loud moaning noise, then all of a sudden Shaggy and Scooby are running from a dead like person in old style clothing as it must be Icabod Crane's ghost as Shaggy and Scooby ran by them with Velma following the both of them as Gordon stands there as the ghost stops and howls along with moaning as well in a attempt to scare Gordon.
Gordon just stands there as he raises a brow, fixes his glasses and rams his fist into the chest of the ghost as it gasps for breath and falls to the ground trying to catch it's breath, he noticed all the people around him came out of no where and are amaze to see a ghost taken down by a single punch, the Mystery Inc gang came when they heard the news and it seems this Gordon had captured the ghost, Fred had an elaborate plan in mind to do so, but it seems the man done him job for them.
"Now let's see who the ghost really is," said Fred as he takes off the mask
"Don Knotts," coursed everyone as Fred pulls off another mask
"Johnny Bravo," coursed everyone as Fred pulls off another mask
"Kermit the frog," course everyone as Fred pulls off another mask
"Hey it's Iggy Crane Icabod's ancestor," said One person
"So the ghost was an ancestor," said Fred "Makes sense,"
"I would have gotten away with it too, if it wasn't for those meddling kids and guy who punched me in the gut," said Iggy
"Ah well nothing important here, best I be going," said Gordon
Gordon slipped away as Velma wondered where he is going as he simply walked into an ally and then activated his portal device, the portal opened and he stepped into the portal as him and the portal vanished.
