2. Diplomatic Relations (H)

…It was a cloudy afternoon on the City of Valencia, Capital of Azure Archipelago Special Region in the Northern Pacific. It's late summer with mother nature currently being moody, dark grey clouds spans out all the way to the horizon, winds blowing strongly and big waves hit the beaches around the island. Despite the bad weather, William Blaze found himself dressed in business suit alongside his usual left eyepatch, and seated inside a VIP room on a certain hotel in Valencia uptown for business talk with a company representative. Hold up, William Blaze is a military commander for Azur Lane Anti Siren Unit, why would he sit with a corporate envoy and talk about business? Well, his personal secretary/girlfriend Hood, told William that he needs to build connections with civilian agents as well. Sending representative is good, but sometimes you'll want to be involved directly as the head of organization, showing that you understood the situation on the field and won't be seen as an armchair leader.

Not that William disagree with her, but he doesn't have the necessary skills to eloquently dialogue in civilian table. He graduated from military academy, under a special program to create an ultimate warrior. The man is a lot more skilled in murdering people and Sirens than talking in businesslike manner, though he won't stumble with every step, it's still going to be hard for him. Which is why, he is accompanied by his secretary who are used to the art of negotiation and diplomacy, a KANSEN from Eagle Union called Brooklyn. The tan woman with crimson eyes and long wavy golden hair is currently standing behind William who's seated on a sofa, she's dressed in black business blazer, white shirt, tight pencil skirt, black stockings and office heels. She's the one who will help William through radio, giving him advice and pointers as the negotiation progress.

"We can provide additional fifteen percent increase in our shipping quantity, Commander Blaze" The man in front of William said out loud while he smiled.

"Can I assume that this will up the ante, Mr. Howard?" William Blaze asked Howard while he smiled slightly.

"Oh naturally~. Although, since your organization have been our patron for quite some time, headquarters is willing to provide twenty five percent discount on the supposed price for our shipment" Howard said to William while he smiled.

"Commander William, a twenty five percent discount would still put a strain on our current budget…Try to ease Souryuu's burden" Brooklyn whispered towards him through the radio.

"…Hmm, you couldn't make it thirty five percent?" William asked Howard.

"Oof, I'm sorry to say but that would be unacceptable. We put high value to our products quality, commander. The best there is on the Northern Pacific, so I can say with full confidence that the price is more than worth it. Twenty five percent, for a year worth of shipment" Howard said to William while he smiled a bit.

"Sing some praise to him" Brooklyn whispered to William on the radio.

"We didn't intend to change our food supplier, so can you please consider the extra ten percent? As a show of good will and trust to your customer? We are looking for long term partnership after all, it would be a good idea to start building up a nice rapport" William said to Howard while he grinned a bit.

"Hoho…you're driving a hard bargain here, Commander Blaze" Howard said to William while he rubbed his bearded chin.

"That's it, commander, keep up the pressure for now. Make it sounds cordial" Brooklyn whispered to William on the radio.

"Everyone loves your product for its high quality. Showing that you're generous enough to throw in extra ten percent would be good for your company reputation, generosity goes long way after all" William said to Howard while he smiled.

"It does sounds great and all commander, but our company is not a charity…So we need to get something equal for those ten percent as well, the basis for business, commander" Howard said to William while he smiled wryly.

"Alright, throw in our bargaining chip" Brooklyn whispered to William on the radio.

"Yes, that's true…How about this? I can secure your company a deal for advertisement around the archipelago, there's an advertisement slot in strategic locations on Valencia for around six months. I could give a few calls to get you that spot" William offered to Howard while he smiled slightly.

"Hmmm…It's true that our business could use some marketing, but Valencia's advertisement boards are fully booked for the next three years. We've tried to secure a spot, but to no avail and I'm sure this 'empty' spot is already booked as well…Are you sure you can change that?" Howard said to William while he narrowed his gaze.

"We could arrange that, effective immediately" William said to Howard while he smiled confidently.

"Interesting…can I see some 'assurance'?" Howard asked William while he rubbed his chin.

"Sure. Brooklyn, please take care of that" William said to Howard then to Brooklyn while he smiled.

"Yes sir" Brooklyn said to William.

Brooklyn took out her phone and sent an email to the advertisement company, it didn't take a minute for Brooklyn to receive a reply and she handed her phone to William. The man in turn shown the content of the mail to Howard who widened his eyes slightly in surprise, Howard then stared briefly at William and Brooklyn in bewilderment before he slowly exhaled to compose himself…Brooklyn was the one who prepared this contingency, she had a hunch that they will have to use it during this negotiation and she's proven correct. ALASUC doesn't have a lot of bargaining chips though so they will have to manage their chips collection carefully, Brooklyn considered that this deal is profitable enough that losing one of their ace cards is a good trade and William agreed with her.

"…Impressive, I never knew ALASUC has so much power over the advertisement company on Azure Archipelago" Howard said to William while he smiled.

"Well, we're the primary line of defense from Sirens on this sector. We do have special privileges when it comes to certain matter" William said to Howard while he smiled.

"Ah, I see…Well, regarding the deal here, I think our company could accept thirty five percent discount as a fair trade off for a six months of advertisement slot in strategic places" Howard said to William while he smiled slightly.

"Splendid news. Let us sign the agreement" William said to Howard while he smiled.

Both men talked a bit more about the arrangement details, then Howard's assistant came inside the room with the contract that both of them signed after reading the fine print. With it, the deal is approved and both of them shook hands. Then, the group parted ways with smiles on their faces, with Howard and the assistant heading off to another meeting on Valencia. With their business done, both William and Brooklyn gathered their belongings and were about to head back to the base. But storm alert rang throughout Valencia alongside an announcement that storm will be hitting the city in full force, accompanied by hard rain and strong wind. Everyone is advised to remain indoors, and not venture out unless there's an emergency…

"…Welp, there goes our plan to go home early. Looks like we have to book a room for the night" William said to Brooklyn as he stared at the scenery through the hotel's window.

"Sure commander, do you mind sharing one with me?" Brooklyn asked William.

"No, of course not" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled a bit.

"I will go to the receptionist to confirm a few things" Brooklyn asked William while she smiled slightly.

"Sure, find me on the canteen when you're done" William said to Brooklyn.

"Got it" Brooklyn said to William then walked out of the room.

…William made sure that nothing is left behind on the room before he walked out and closed the door, he walked to the toilet and goes straight for the urinal. He's been holding in his pee during the talk and his bladder is completely full, so he couldn't help but to sigh in relief as urine streamed out of his penis…William then realized something, Brooklyn suggested sharing a hotel room? Wait, she doesn't feel awkward about it? Granted, both of them knew each other and she's his trusted secretary when it comes to foreign diplomacy. William didn't think that she's the type who's easily embarrassed, so sharing a room with a man didn't bother her at all…Now that he thought about it, he hasn't got any chance to get to know Brooklyn better on personal level. Sure, he knew her persona when she's on duty, but what about when she's off work?

Probably a pretty strict one as well, given that she's always seen acting professional that William won't be surprised that she's like that as well when she's not working. The man shrugged as he pulled his zipper up and washed his hand on the basin, he will most likely find out later tonight…William took an elevator, ride it to the ground floor and walked to the hotel cafeteria and he was surprised to find Brooklyn already waiting for him on the entrance.

"You're late, did something happen?" Brooklyn asked William.

"Was on the loo. But how did you manage to get here before me? How's our room?" William asked Brooklyn while he cocked his eyebrows.

"Ah, I forgot to mention that this hotel is the one I used whenever I had to meet with delegations and agents. I basically already has an entire room booked for the year, so I can rest easy whenever negotiation would last for more than a day" Brooklyn explained to William while she smiled.

"…Uhuh…so that's how. I'm impressed, don't tell me you know the staff too?" William said to Brooklyn while he smirked a bit.

"Good evening, Brooklyn!" A girl wearing chef uniform greeted out loud while she walked toward Brooklyn.

"Evening Susan, you're working today?" Brooklyn asked Susan.

"Yeah, late shift. I'm in luck that the storm hits when I just get off the bus…Business meeting, I presume?" Susan asked Brooklyn.

"Precisely, a short one, I'm planning to go home but as you can see…" Brooklyn said to Susan as she glanced at the large hotel window showing the scenery outside.

"Right…Oh, and who you might be?" Susan turned toward William.

"William Blaze, pleasure to meet you" William said to Susan as he offered his hand.

"Susan Mistral. Are you with Brooklyn?" Susan asked William while she smiled.

"Yes, he is my commander" Brooklyn said to Susan.

"OH! So it's you! Thank you so much for your service commander! Brooklyn told me of your prowess!" Susan said to William while she grinned.

"Just doing my job" William said to Susan while he smiled a bit.

"You did a fine one then! Oh, I better get to work. Enjoy your stay, both of you!" Susan said to Brooklyn and William as she semi run into the cafeteria.

"…She's an energetic girl" William said to Brooklyn.

"Yeah, she's doing her field practical term at the moment. She doesn't want to tarnish her school's name, so she's been putting an extra effort in everything…Her natural energetic self surely helps" Brooklyn said to William.

"She enrolls in culinary school huh? Do they hold a shokugeki?" William wondered out loud.

"Shokugeki? What is that?" Brooklyn asked William.

"Nothing, just a reference…Anyway, let's eat something" William said to Brooklyn before he walked into the cafeteria.

Brooklyn doesn't watch anime, got it. William wondered on what she's doing outside work as her hobby? Maybe he should just be direct and ask her…Both of them found a window seat, seems they want to stare at the storm that's currently hitting the island. A waitress approached them not too long after they sit, William ordered a Sunday Roast package while Brooklyn ordered a beef stew. They also requested a bottle of champagne, as a celebration for the successful deal. The waitress placed two glasses of water on the table and told them that their food will be here shortly, then she left to take the order to the kitchen. William took out his phone and messaged Hood that he will return tomorrow, she immediately goes for the jugular by saying 'If you're going to fool around with Brooklyn, don't go overboard'…William grinned wryly, he doesn't plan to, but no way he would refuse if Brooklyn gives him a greenlight. Hood told him that there's no way she can hog him for herself with their situation on the base, so she chose to be lenient with William in him responding the other KANSENs advances…Keyword, KANSENs.

"…Good work Brooklyn, you've secured a good deal" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled a bit.

"Please, it is you who worked the hardest during the negotiation commander. The prestige belongs to you" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled.

"I would be as confused as headless chicken if it wasn't for your guidance though" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled sadly.

"Still, you did a good job for someone who's not experienced. That and you easily follow my instruction really contributes to our success today" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled.

"Yeah…You have it rough, doing something like this often" William said to Brooklyn while he frowned slightly.

"I'm used to it, commander. Your concern is appreciated though" Brooklyn said to William.

"We're off work, there's no need for you to call me commander" William said to Brooklyn.

"Oh, right. I'm sorry William, I always forgot" Brooklyn said to William while she frowned slightly.

"Honestly, I never see you outside work so I'm quite curious…Are you always at working mode, Brooklyn?" William asked Brooklyn.

"…Of course not. It's just that…" Brooklyn was about to say something before she hesitated.

"…What?" William asked Brooklyn while he titled his head a bit in confusion.

"…I hardly saw you outside work, so it's hard for me to think of you as other than my commander" Brooklyn honestly said to William while she smiled bitterly.

"Well, why don't we change that? Starting now. Whenever we're off work, you can just call me William…and I can call you with your own nickname" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled.

"Ah, that sounds good. But I don't have a nickname" Brooklyn said to William while she frowned.

"How does 'Lyn' sounds?" William asked Brooklyn while he smiled.

"Lyn…Lyn…Yeah, I like that. You can call me Lyn whenever we're not working…" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled softly.

"Brilliant" William said to Brooklyn while he smirked a bit.

Just like that, both William and Brooklyn found themselves chatting casually for the first time since they meet. They get to know each other, though turns out Brooklyn know a lot about him from other girls. The man confirms on what was true, and cocked his eyebrows at the misinformation at some parts regarding himself. William did his best to befriend Brooklyn though, he asked her hobbies, passion, whether there's something she want to say to him outside their position or if she wants to share some stories. As expected of Brooklyn, who's their diplomat and his secretary who handles organizational relations, she has a lot to say about everything. She said that as it is her job to keep them connected to outside world, she has to understand everything, even if they are surface level. So, whenever she found herself on the negotiating table, she won't be stumbling every five seconds and embarrass herself plus the organization she represents.

So. when William asked her about her hobby, she could confidently say that its learning about something. She likes keeping herself up to date with the current ongoings of the world, learning about new things. William argued that it sounds like a chore than a hobby, but Brooklyn disagreed as she often relaxes by reading news while listening to some soft ambiance music whilst drinking coffee in her spare time. She claims that even something that could be considered a chore to someone, could be something that other people do to relax. William is skeptical about that, but he took her words seriously and made a mental note to remember that particular fact about Brooklyn. Honestly, he couldn't relate with her way of relaxation. He's the type to relax by dressing only in his boxer, with chips alongside soda to his side, an air conditioning running smoothly, a game console and a large TV that displayed the video games he's playing.

"I'm not frowning at you gaming, I just found the activity to be unproductive" Brooklyn said to William.

"Hey now, relaxation doesn't always mean being productive. What's important is the fact that you could let out some steam with it" William said to Brooklyn while he pursed his lips.

"…You have a point…Is it fun? Gaming?" Brooklyn asked William while she cocked her eyebrows.

"…Don't tell me you've never played a game in your whole life?" William asked Brooklyn in return while he frowned deeply.

"Not the digital ones. I've played some card games and table top ones, alongside the other Eagle Union KANSENs" Brooklyn said to William while she frowned slightly.

"You got to try it out then. Let me introduce you to that world later, there must be a game or two that will stick with you" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled.

"You think so?" Brooklyn asked William while she smiled slightly.

"Oh definitely! There are tons of video games out there, especially in the current day and age! There's a lot of genres to explore! If you're looking for something to entertain you, I can guarantee you'll find something in the vast sea of gaming library!" William said to Brooklyn while he grinned.

"Intriguing…Mind giving me an example?" Brooklyn asked William.

"Okay. What do you think will entertain you? Story maybe?" William asked Brooklyn.

"A good story would definitely entertain me" Brooklyn said to William while she rubbed her chin.

"And would you like it to have intense gameplay as well?" William asked Brooklyn.

"How about a good balance between both?" Brooklyn asked William in return.

"…Alright then, maybe you could start playing the Mass Effect trilogy" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled.

"Mass Effect?" Brooklyn echoed the name as she took out her phone to search for it.

"It's an action role playing game, set in outer space on the future. Humanity has met advanced alien civilization, braving the galaxy as the one and only Commander Sheperd who you can customize as you like. It has great world building and narrative, I think you'll like them" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled widely.

"Interesting…I will definitely check it out later. I don't know if I'll like it or not, but I suppose there's no harm in trying" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled a bit.

"Excellent, let me know if you need help with them" William said to Brooklyn while he grinned.

"…Hold on, internet said that there's a continuation to it? Mass Effect Andromeda? Didn't you say it's a trilogy?" Brooklyn asked William.

"Yeah, Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3" William said to Brooklyn.

"And Andromeda?" Brooklyn asked William.

"We don't talk about that one" William immediately said to Brooklyn in serious tone while he grimaced.

"…Okay?" Brooklyn responded while she cocked her eyebrows in wonder.

"Thank you for waiting, sir, madam. Here's the food you ordered" The waitress said to them while carrying a tray with their meal on it.

Brooklyn and William received their ordered meals, both of them thanked the waitress then poured a glass of champagne for each other. Both of them then raised their glass and toasted for the successful negotiation today, then they proceed to eat their ordered meal. William would've ordered pure steak, but he figured that he might need to put vegetables on his menu as well…Belfast managed to ingrained that he shouldn't be neglectful to the poor veggies, it really helps that she threatened to shove them down his throat when he whined about his meals having too much vegetable than his liking. The Sunday Roast tasted great though, the chef really knows how to balance the taste between the beef and vegetables, making them equally enticing without sacrificing the other ingredients strength…how did they do that? Must've come from experience, it's hard to get the seasoning balance for your meal right from the get go. There will be a lot of experiments and taste testing…and that didn't include whether the consumer palate is attuned to your taste or not. Cooking is hard.

"…Enjoyed the meal, Will?" Brooklyn asked William.

"Definitely. Was Susan the one who made it?" William asked Brooklyn.

"Oh yes, I think so. I heard that she impressed the head chef enough that she's given a recommendation so she could work here after her graduation" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled a bit.

"What a talented girl, she has a great future in culinary world" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled.

"I believe so too" Brooklyn said to William.

"Speaking of that…Ever thought where would you be after the war ends, Lyn?" William suddenly asked Brooklyn a serious question.

"I might stay with ALASUC. Our organization really fits the hub that connect everyone, I think my skillset would fit nicely" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled.

"Yeah, you'll do just fine with ALASUC" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled softly.

"And you, William? When the war ends, where would you be?" Brooklyn asked William.

"Nowhere, I think I'll be staying to command ALASUC…You know, if we ever defeat them, there's no telling whether they'll be gone forever. They could return and strike us at our most vulnerable time…We know practically nothing about the enemy we fight, their appearance should be the wake-up call for humanity to band together against this new threat…And if humanity fails to do that, then ALASUC can't fail…We'll be the guardians, watching over this world for the return of the Sirens. And then, we'll do whatever it takes to beat them again…After knowing that greater threat than the human themselves exist out there, there's no way I'm going to shirk this job. As a soldier, it's my duty to protect innocent people from harm, to take out any threats that threaten peace. As your commander, it is my job to take care all of you, to lead you well and be the guide to how we should direct our power best…I've been given this responsibility, given the trust by two great alliances to be the leader of the KANSENs. Giving up on it, is never on my dictionary" William monologed at Brooklyn.

…The woman listened intently and concluded that his statement does makes sense. William have always been known by the ship girls with his tenacity, the man simply doesn't know quitting. It's just his nature, to keep trying and never give up. Doesn't mean he's not flexible though, there's a difference between stubbornly holding an impossible position against an enemy and retreating to fight them another day. It's what makes him a great frontline commander, he knows when to push and when to pull back. The ship girls trusted him for commanding them, and Brooklyn is no exception...He cares for the KANSENs, not for their strategic prowess, but as people. He never saw them as a military hardware to throw senselessly at the Sirens, he treated them as his comrades. That's why his effort to befriend the girls and taking care of them felt genuine, not just as their commander but as a friend. In return, the girls held him in high regards.

Doesn't mean they could just walk all over him though; he knows when to set the line between acting like their friend and commander. The other thing that makes him famous among the KANSENs is his anger, the man is downright frightening when he's pissed. He usually does get angry for a good reason though, such as one time the fleet exercise between them got overzealous and resulted in base infrastructural damage due to them using live ammo. That set him off pretty good, those responsible are lined up as he ranted at them regarding fire control discipline for ten minutes. But his tolerance limit is pretty high and he's also quick to forgive the girls for their serious misdeeds, he only treated the less serious mishap of the girls as an annoyance as it happens most of the time. So, all in all, if the girls didn't seriously fuck up, they won't have to worry about him getting angry…Other than that, he's a kind man with sense of responsibility, determination, a particular hobby for gaming and weapons.

"That does sound like you, William" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled.

"Heheh…yeah, Hood said so as well. That I've found my calling in the military" William chuckled slightly then said to Brooklyn.

"I can't see you working desk job too, you fit the image of a soldier more" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled.

"That as well…" William said to Brooklyn with half closed eye.

CRASH!

A traffic sign was carried by the strong wind and crashed through the restaurant massive glass window just above Brooklyn and William. The man immediately tackled Brooklyn to the floor and shielded her from the glass shards and the storm with his hunkering 190 centimeters tall body that's packed with muscles. Brooklyn gasped in shock but quickly composed herself when she saw William's face above her, so close to her face that if she leaned up a bit, she would've kiss him. His right eye darted all around but her, not out of embarrassment, but in alert for anything that could injure them. After making sure all that's hitting him now is nothing but strong wind and water droplets, William quickly got up, pulled Brooklyn with him as they alongside the other patrons evacuated the restaurant. All of them stood on the lobby, calming themselves down and trying to comprehend on what just happened to them. Hotel staffs and manager immediately addressed them, handing out towels and helped calming the patrons while asking the other about the situation.

"…You okay, Lyn?" William asked Brooklyn.

"Y-Yes, I am fine" Brooklyn said to William.

"That's good" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled.

"You're not hurt, aren't you?" Brooklyn asked William as she checked his whole body.

"Nah, I'm fine" William said to Brooklyn as he watched her checking his body.

"…You do realize that I'm a KANSEN? I would be fine without you doing that" Brooklyn said to William while she frowned a bit.

"And risk grazing your beautiful face? Hard pass" William said to Brooklyn while he smirked.

Brooklyn tensed a bit as her cheeks reddened before she composed herself, she received a towel from a hotel employee and beckons William to bend a bit. He did just that and Brooklyn dried his hair…While it's true that ship girls are durable enough to withstand ship grade firepower, that's mostly because they equipped their rigging. Without them, they're still a superhuman in strength but the same can't be said for their own endurance. They could still get hurt easily, like St. Louis who got grazed by a bullet in the arm, Zuikaku who got pricked when she tried to open a clam with a knife or even Scharnhorst who bumped her head when she's drunk rambling. The scientific explanation for that? Fuck knows, something changed them whenever they equipped their rigging and that's the best explanation the best scientist group on Azur Lane headquarter has.

"…I can definitely appreciate the sentiment" Brooklyn said to William while she smiled softly.

"…Well, since we're drenched. We better get our clothes washed and dried, we're lucky that we're done with dinner" William said to Brooklyn while he smiled.

"Right. Follow me to our room" Brooklyn said to William before both of them started walking.

Their room is a modest one, a functional hotel room with single queen-sized bed and everything someone would require when they stay in the room. Brooklyn said that she only used the room so she can rest, she doesn't really care about luxury or anything when she's just staying for a day or two at most. Brooklyn felt that she can put the money she has to better use elsewhere, she's not the type who cares much for expensive items even though she has good knowledge of them. Modesty is among her strongest virtue, she's capable of appreciating luxury while she doesn't really mind that she couldn't bask with them all the time…Brooklyn told William to go ahead of her into the bathroom, he was against the idea at first but Brooklyn argued that he's the one who's drenched to the bone so he should be prioritized. William shrugged then he changed into the bathrobe, putting his drenched clothes on the basket that Brooklyn will handle for room service. She put the basket on the special compartment near their door that the hotel employee could access from outside then pressed the button to call them, just then, an idea struck her. Brooklyn stared at the bathroom door which is currently closed, then she started stripping and putting the clothes on the same basket…

…William rubbed his chin that he just shaved clean with the razor provided by the hotel, his chin is completely free from facial hair and he rubbed it to make sure it won't have stubble. After that, he took off his bathrobe, going completely buck naked. William turned on the hose for the bathtub, filling it with hot water to the brim that felt just right for his skin. Then he went to the shower and stood beneath the shower head, he turned on the warm water and the man sighed when the water hit his body…It really feels great, William rubbed his entire body clean from grime with the liquid soap and his raven hair with the shampoo. After getting his body clean, he turned off the shower and then dipped himself into the bathtub slowly. He relished the feeling of being drenched in the hot water and relaxed himself by leaning on the bathtub…

"William, I'm coming in" William heard Brooklyn said from behind the door.

"Yeah…wait what?!" William answered before he doubled back and turned his head toward the door.

He's just in time to see Brooklyn entering the bathroom while wearing her bathrobe, the woman looked at William's agape mouth and shocked face before she giggled in amusement. She really caught him off guard, didn't she? Brooklyn walked into the bathroom, her hips swaying a bit more than necessary and she stood beside William who's still in the bathtub. Brooklyn cracked a small smirk at William who's shamelessly eyeing her and liking where this is going, he's not some weakling who runs out of the bathroom whenever a girl did this like in an anime! To those who are regular readers, welcome to the story that I mentioned some time ago. Here will be the collection of side stories from Commander Blaze that couldn't be fitted on the main story, there are a lot of them. From the sweet ones to the steamy ones, I will put them all here. To those who are new readers? Well, welcome as well! There might be some details that couldn't make sense if you didn't read the main story, but I will try my best to explain it here in LITE version and make the story try to run without having to mention those details too much…Also, if you reached this afterword, I would assume you've read the sheer degeneracy at unprotected premarital hand holding level of smut above this…or skip it directly to the end…Yup, Azur Lane is already an anime technically speaking, it's only fitting to make the smut runs like a hentai! Whether you're here for the sweet side of the story or the steamy ones, I won't judge and hope that you enjoy your time reading.

Alright, shove the sweet talking out of the way, time to discuss the technical details…There will be two kinds of chapters, the SFW and NSFW one. The difference would lie on (H) marking on the end of chapter name so for those who couldn't stand smut…or my smut writing (OOF!) could skip them entirely. Should you choose to venture in and risking yourself cringing, I suppose it's only fair to make a warning line that indicates you're about to enter steamy sauna so you wouldn't miss out on the story while skipping the smut.

And here's the thing that I want to experiment, readers could request a short story for me to write here. For example, you want to see a particular story with certain ship girl? Then you can PM me to discuss the process. Name the girls you want, is it SFW or NSFW story type and some pointers on the scenario. I will still write chapters based on my own ideas, but readers could request some scenarios to either be implemented as added sections to the story or serve as base idea for the chapter…Now before you scramble to PM me, TAKE HEED! There is no guarantee that I will agree to your request for various reasons, we will discuss why later. If its accepted? Then there's no guarantee it will magically come out tomorrow or something, I'm still one man who happens to be a mortal that has to divide his available time on this world. I will definitely store your accepted request and it will come out in its own time since this isn't my main project, please do understand that. And lastly, it has correlation with the last sentence, this isn't a main project. Meaning? Its update would be sparse and uncertain…as if the main ones didn't already…but yeah, I don't want to rush it and release something horrible to read by public. Let me take my time, please.

This story wouldn't be in chronological order, so don't be surprised that it will often goes back and forth. And it's focused on the slice of life side more compared to the warfare that happens on the main one, I will try my best not to include too much combat action on this one…Oh and about the story itself, particularly the NSFW part…Would dear readers, especially those that have read Commander Blaze main storyline, like to see a smut that involves other characters than KANSENs? For example. William's relation with Admiral Lena in the past, smuts of other characters within the story like Commander Johnson, tales that would involve Lucas or Erich with their own respective adventures…or dare I say, Siren affiliated individuals? Or even Nyx himself? Yup, let me know about that, want to set the scope from now on so I'll know when to draw the line.

Well, I think that is all I want to say for now. I'll let everyone know whether there's a change regarding what I've said above later, the statement above isn't permanent you know.
