Part.2 Mystery of Third Earth

Cats lair: Third Earth

Gordon Freeman and the Thundercats are in the conference room in which it has been determined that this Third Earth is not in the same star system as Earth called the Sol System. This Third Earth is far away from that system.

The One-Free-man did take notice to creatures on Third Earth that are either from fairy tales like goblins, unicorns, trolls and other strange creatures. Humans were mostly warrior women or cavemen or humans from other world's, but not from Earth.

The clues are out there, but to where he does have some ideas and most importantly what happened to the original Earth? A natural disaster, Combine Invasion or something worse.

When he was on the moon, he did a map scan of Third Earth and found the land masses are different and not in the same place as they are supposed to be, but one place in particular intrigued him a null like zone.

"Tell me have you been to this place on Third Earth." Said Gordon

He shows them a holographic location of the place to them

"I never been there," said Panthro "But I heard from the Third Earth natives that it's cursed."

"Why?" Asked Gordon

"We don't even know." Said Tigra "None of us have attempted to go there."

"It's very creepy," said Snarf "And I don't like this already."

"All the more reason to go there," said Lion-O "Be brave snarf, where is your sense of adventure."

"Elsewhere," said Snarf

"A mystery like this must be solved." Said Gordon

The Thundercats nodded in agreement

"So I am going." Said Gordon "I don't believe in curses."

"I will go." Said Lion-O "Panthro, Cheetara, you come along as well and while the others remain here for the time being."

"Right," said all of them

"I estimate it will take three days to get to this area," said Panthro "The thundertank has alot of power to make the trip."

"Then lets do it." Said Gordon

So then the four of them head into the tank and drive off away from the lair to head to the location of a mysterious place on Third Earth.

Mumm-ra is just as confused as the Thundercats, a null void of a place on Third Earth and cursed according to the locals. He never once bothered even going there in fact the ancient spirits of evil forbid him from even going there.

Is there something the ancient spirits of evil know something that he does not. However he will not defy them and let this play out, until he strikes and takes all the secrets for himself. Power is what he always wanted and to spread evil everywhere.

The thought of it amused him.

The area: Third Earth, three days later

It took them three days to get to near the location of where the void area is and they have not encountered anything dangerous, in fact no one has ever traveled here and there is a reason why, it is foggy.

Panthro used the spot lights to see his way while driving the tank, the fog is almost pitch black. Even their readings are off in the scanners of the tank, but it pressed on further.

"What is that up ahead," asked Cheetara

"It looks like a reflection of the thunder tank." Said Lion-O

"Impossible," said Panthro "I only built one tank."

"This place is playing tricks on us." Said Gordon "The best way is to go forward."

"Agreed," said Panthro "Here we go."

Putting his foot on the gas peddle of the tank and driving right at the reflection of the tank, then they passed through as a ripple effect occured and a blinding light...after that they are on the other side, the other side of what.

It wasn't foggy on the inside as their eyes are fixated on what how sunny it looks and the sky is blue with some clouds. There is plant life all around, so they press on until something up ahead and very, very, large.

"Is that a ship." Said Lion-O

"What is left of one." Said Gordon

"Looks like it had been here a long time." Said Panthro

The tank drives along side the ancient ship that looked like it had crashed here and it looks old, a hole is in the side of the hull and there is rusted words on it U.S.S Ark.

"Interesting name." Said Panthro

"Well the name does come from Noah's ark in the Bible," said Gordon "According to myth in the book, Noah had the ark build to survive a great flood upon the Earth and it had many animals as well."

"You think it could be the same way.' said Panthro

"Only one way to find out," said Gordon "To find out for ourselves and no, this is different."

The tank then stops, as they get out and glance upon what they see, it is old, impressive and very mysterious. So why is it here, that is a question they must find an answer for.
