"Waaaa!"
"Shh, shh. It's okay, Gwen, big bro's here." Said Tate as he warmly held his baby sister as she cried.
As the baby Clawthorne cried, King woke up from his nap to see the state of the crew and it wasn't good.
The palismen were huddled together, Amity was worried sick, Odalia's decapitated head was smiling, Gus was anxious and Hunter and Alador were arguing.
"I know how to fly a ship." Said Alador with a frown as Hunter tried to work with the ship's controls
"Then fly faster! We're barely halfway there. Luz could be in trouble!" Exclaimed Amity anxiously.
"Maybe if I took the wheel-"
"Very eager to return to Belos, eh, Golden Guard?" Replied Alador with a deep frown.
"At least I've never built him an army!" Exclaimed Hunter angrily.
"Watch your tone with me, young man." Snapped Alador letting go of the steering wheel, causing the ship to tilt.
Gus fell out of his seat because of this tilt and Gwenevere began crying again after Tate finally calmed her down.
"Hey, here's a bright idea: don't distract the pilot!" Gus yelled angrily.
"He started it!" Hunter retorted.
"It doesn't matter who started it! You woke Gwenevere up!" Exclaimed Tate angrily.
Everyone, save for the palismen, Willow and King, shortly began arguing loudly, causing Odalia to chuckle happily.
"This is wonderful." She said with a satisfied smile.
"I can't believe she's gonna face Belos alone again. And I'm powerless to help her. We can't even manage to help each other." Said King dejectedly as he stared at the group arguing.
Willow was silent. She lifted up her palisman, Clover, and nodded to her.
Clover flew to the other palismen and they all worked together to push a crate full of food towards the arguing group, interrupting their fighting.
Gus's stomach growled in hunger and Amity sighed.
"Look, we're all exhausted and terrified. Let's focus our energy on helping Luz instead of fighting each other." She said calmly and everyone nodded.
They all sit down and eat, quickly calming down as Tate, Gus and Hunter made up and Alador offered Hunter to drive.
"Where did all the fighting go? Ugh, stupid palismen...i was enjoying that!" Odalia exclaimed with a frown drawing everyone's attention.
Tate, with Gwenevere in his arms, turned to an annoyed Alador and Amity and sighed. He stood up and approached Odalia who was still just a head.
He picked her up and held her just outside the ship with a long fall below her.
"H-hey, you're not going to drop me, are you? You're supposed to be the good guy." Said Odalia nervously as she quickly realized the situation she was in.
"I'm a good guy, not a good person." Tate said with an evil smile before lightly throwing Odalia off the ship.
Tate returned to his seat, ignoring Odalia's screams as she plummeted towards the ground. Gwen giggled as Tate tickled her before he noticed everyone staring at him with their jaws dropped.
"Why are you surprised? Her life wasn't even worth the energy i spent on that throw." Said Tate nonchalantly.
"I- I'm just...surprised." replied Amity in shock.
"And somehow, i don't feel bad about this." Added Alador in shock. "Even if it was a bit...cold."
Tate chuckled and focused on something else. He put on a backpack where he put Gwenevere and made sure that it wouldn't come off no matter what and that Gwen couldn't slip out of it.
In the original story, the group would now be facing a tiny fleet of coven airships.
However, with no Odalia to report the stolen ship they were able to focus on something more important. Hunter's and Alador's coven sigils. They began draining magic and it affected Alador worse than Hunter as he fell onto one knee.
"Alador, there's a way to stop it, but i need your permission." Said Tate as he quickly supported the abomination maker up. "Cause it's not pretty."
"What is it? Quickly!" Asked Amity in a panic realizing that Tate was unaffected by the draining spell.
Tate took off his gloves to reveal a metal handand everyone instantly knew what needed to be done.
As everyone was too shocked to speak, Alador quickly made up his mind.
"Do it."
The next second, Alador's wrist came off painlessly without the slightest hesitation.
"Huh? That was less painful than i expected." Said Alador in surprise as he inspected the blue glowing where his wrist was.
"Replace it with an abomination hand and it'll stick as good as your original." Said Tate and Alador made an abomination prosthetic that quickly started like a part of his arm that made Alador uncomfortable. "It's my spell."
Hunter saw this procedure and donned a determined look.
"Alright, I'm next." He said extending his arm for it to be cut off.
Tate went silent and inspected his friend. The draining spell didn't affect him much compared to Alador and that didn't slip by Tate's eyes.
"No." Tate said calmly, surprising Hunter. "You need your palisman to use magic. With only one hand or a hand you're uncomfortable with, you'd be a liability."
"Wait! But the draining spell!" Willow exclaimed in worry.
"The spell isn't affecting him as much because of his lack of magic. Unless it's a must, his hand stays." Said Tate sternly before turning to Hunter. "Just tell me when."
Hunter slowly nodded and they soon made it to the skull of the titan and saw the coven heads and Eda suffering.
They quickly sailed down and dropped to them. Alador and Hunter immediately headed to Darius and shook him.
"C'mon, wake up! You can't just call me a hack and just leave!" He said in a mix of anger and sadness.
"Darius." Said Hunter worriedly. "Tate!"
"On it!" Tate said before slicing the wrists of Eda and every coven head, freeing them from the draining spell.
Willow saw this and stared at the people below, hoping that the spell would end with this. Sadly, that wasn't the case.
"The spell is still going!" She exclaimed in fear.
"We need to find Luz." Said Amity worriedly as she stared at the titan's skull.
"I'll go with you." Said a familiar voice.
It was Eda whom the spell no longer affected.
"No, Aunt Eda, we'll be fighting Belos." Said Tate in a serious tone. "If we can't beat him, we'll stall until you get these guys to us." He gestured towards the one handed coven heads.
Eda frowned, but nodded before noticing the baby inside Tate's backpack.
"Wait! Are you taking a baby with you?!"
"I don't know where mom IS, there's no time to find her and Gwenevere will fly to me if i leave her with you." Said Tate as he rushed towards the skull of the titan. "Just focus on the coven heads!"
Eda couldn't say another word before the group headed towards Belos's lair.
She then turned to Raine who was crawling towards her.

"We. Don't. Belong here!"
Inside the skull of the titan, Belos in his monster form prepared to attack Luz in anger and rage, but was stopped by a fiery slash to the forehead and nose.
Luz looked above her to see Tate in the air holding his palisman sword after slashing Belos.
"You don't belong anywhere!" Exclaimed Tate as he dropped to the ground.
"We're here to help!" Added Willow.
"Did you really think we wouldn't follow you?" Added Amity.
"Yeah girl, get with it." Added Gus.
"Can't let my daughter's girlfriend die." Added Alador.
"You guys are literally the coolest!" Replied Luz happily before noticing that Belos was quickly recovering. "We have to get him to stop the draining spell, but he's all...berserk mad!"
And the fight truly began as Gus sent King to a safe spot. Willow summoned her vines to restrain Belos, but he quickly broke free, causing some debris to fall from the cave. The debris would've gotten Luz had Amity not blocked it with an abomination shield.
Before Belos could make another move, however, Alador summoned an abomination and had it crash into Belos.
Tate didn't give Belos the chance to even break free from the abomination and went on the offensive. He made a large slash from Belos's shoulder to his hip, causing him to scream in pain.
Belos dashed towards Tate with no regard for anything, but was stopped by Amity making abomination ropes to tie him down.
"All right, Belos, time to calm down a little." Said Gus as he used his mirror shaped magic amplifier to give Belos the same trauma as everyone else.
Belos screamed as Gus peeked into his memories before breaking out. Gus struggled to keep the spell up as Belos prepared to attack.
Thankfully, Hunter got him out of the way as Alador lasssoed Belos's leg, causing him to lean on his elbow on the ground right in front of Hunter.
Seeing this, Belos considered it an opportunity. He transformed his face into the one Hunter knew and feared.
"Hunter, why are you hurting me? I only wanted to help you!" He said in an 'innocent' tone.
Hunter froze on the spot hugging his palisman. "You're... You're lying!"
Belos then noticed that palisman and his eyes widened before he turned back into his monstrous form. "CALEB!" He roared.
The roar was short-lived as Tate stabbed his sword into Belos's eye, causing him to cry out in pain as nothing but sludge came out.
Luz then let out an ice glyph to make Belos's slip and fall. Quickly, they all pinned him down with all their magic and it was up to Tate to deliver the final blow.
Tate raised his blade into the air, his phoenix palisman engulfed in the scorching flames of vengeance for all the crimes he had done to them and to others.
But Belos desperately struggled and managed to free one of his arms and turned it into a scythe to attack Tate.
Tate froze as he felt the attack coming from behind. It would hit his baby sister before him, but he wasn't fast enough to dodge.
The scythe was about to fall onto Gwenevere inside the bag, but then stopped.
Everyone turned to what stopped the attack and saw...vines?
"Those aren't mine." Said Willow in surprise.
"THAT'S FOR TRICKING ME, BELOS!" Everyone turned to the source of the anger filled voice and saw none other than the head of the plant coven herself, Terra Snapdragon.
Not a second later, Belos's free arm was pinned down by a figure made from abomination goo.
"Missed me?" Asked the head of the abomination coven, Darius Deamonne.
Hunter and Alador's faces lit up upon seeing Darius up and running.
Then, they heard an angry growl before a small beastly figure jumped onto Belos's face and began biting as their tamed fleas did the same.
It was the head of the beast keeping track, Eberwolf.
Belos tried to free himself once more, but a knife to the arm quickly stopped that attempt. A knife thrown by the head of the healing coven, Hettie Cutburn.
Belos tried to roar, but he was quickly put into a choke hold by Mason, the head of the construction coven.
He tried looking for a way out, but the world looked as dark and bleak as it could and that's because Belos fell into an illusion of a dark room where he couldn't see what was happening to him.
"Nuh-uh, can't ruin the surprise." It was a spell cast by the head of the illusion coven, Adrian Graye.
Suddenly, a thunderstorm was whipped up and struck Belos's with its lighting using a beautiful tune played by the head of the bard coven, Raine Whispers...assisted by Edalyn Clawthorne due to having only one hand which made Luz very happy.
The pain from the thunderstorm cause Belos to roar before oracle spirits filled his mouth and kept it as open as possible.
It was the work of the head of the oracle coven, Orsan.
As Belos's mouth was kept open, someone appeared and shoved a bag of potions into it. Potions that caused Belos severe pain and anguish.
It was the work of the head of the potions coven, Vitimir.
As all the coven heads worked to keep Belos contained, Tate stared at the beast under him and raised his blade.
He took a deep breath...and thrusted his sword into the heart of the monster with nearly all his power.
A giant pillar of flames rose up from the blade and ripped Belos to ashes without touching any of its allies.
When the spell ended, Tate was exhausted and on the verge of passing out and Belos was reduced to a mere drop of sludge that no one even noticed shivering in fear of its miserable life.
Eda quickly transformed into harpy mode and supported her nephew to stand.
Everyone was exhausted and no one had any idea how to stop the draining spell, then King appeared with a child next to him, the collector.
Tate could only drift to sleep while fear gripped his heart. The last thing he saw before passing out...
...was the collector moving the moon.

Tate woke up to an unfamiliar ceiling in a bed he didn't remember sleeping in, with his sister and palisman next to him.
"Where...am i?"
