Chapter: 168
Freeman and the Masters
Laying in ruins is Snake mountain, which it looked like it had been toppled by explosions from some force that might have attacked the place He-man and the Masters had come to rescue Teela from Skeletor and his forces.
Only now there is nothing to rescue, Man-at-arms arms wondered if his daughter Teela had escaped and set off explosives to cripple Skeletors forces, but the real question is, where is Teela? Could of she gone back to the palace
"Stratos, Buzz-off." Called out Man-at-arms "Find anything."
"It happened not to long ago." Said Stratos
"I found Two-bad." Said Buzz "Looks like he was killed by falling debris."
"I found Trap-jaw," said Orko "Looks like he got ripped apart by something."
"Beastman and Stinkor are alive, but injured." Said Ram man
"But, no Skeletor or Evil-lyn or Teela." Said He-man "She must of escaped before the explosion."
"She is a clever girl."said Man-at-arms "That's my daughter...she must of gotten far. Stratos see if you can find her in the air."
Elsewhere
Gordon Freeman is carrying on his back the injured and beautiful warrior named Teela. She didn't know what to make of the mysterious man, if she can trust him or not. He did saved her life, so she can cut him some slack.
He looked kind of cool with an armor she has never seen before and a symbol she does not recognize, she could tell this man is a warrior with much experience behind his eyes, much more than she has experienced.
Gordon could simply teleport to the Royal palace he had previously seen, but showing up unexpectedly. He would be precived as a threat and be attacked, rather off having allies and not enemies.
"So, what's your story?" She asked
"It's a long one, a very long one." Said Gordon
'I see, once we get to the Royal palace my father will thank you." Said Teela
"No problem." Said Gordon
Then flying over head is Stratos who sees a stranger carrying Teela to the direction of the palace, then Stratos flies around and heads to the direction of where the others are to report back.
"Now that is a big bird." Said Gordon
"He is Stratos, one of the Masters of the universe." Said Teela
"The Masters of what?" Said Gordon
"You are not from Eternia." Said Teela
"Originally from Seattle." Said Gordon
"You mean from Earth like Queen Marlena." Said Teela
"I'm from A Earth, not from her Earth." Said Gordon
"I dont understand." Said Teela
"It's another long story." Said Gordon
Gordon kept on walking and carrying her meanwhile Stratos went back to the others and reported of what he saw. That alone puzzeled them, surely one man alone besides He-man could of destroyed snake mountain and taken down the evil warriors.
"I will go on ahead to have a chat with this mysterious man." Said He-man
"We will gather the evil warriors and put them in prison." Said Man-at-arms
He-man gets on his battle cat and races off to meet up with this person.
Outskirts of the Royal palace
Gordon Freeman has reached the outskirts of the Royal palace with Teela, he is carrying her on his back and then they heard something or someone coming, then appearing is He-man on his trusty battle cat
"He-man," said Teela
"That's He-man," said Gordon "He looks like a muscle bound doofus."
"So your the stranger that rescued Teela and did you destroy Snake mountain." Said He-man
"That I did," said Gordon "Strong as you look, you could of done that yourself."
"Hmm?" Said He-man "True, where are you from stranger, I don't recognize that symbol."
"It means Freedom." Said Gordon "And I'm from Seattle."
"He's from Earth like Queen Marlena." Said Teela
"Oh is that so," said He-man "Welcome to Eternia."
"Your girlfriend needs medical attention." Said Gordon
"Ah, here comes Man-at-arms." Said He-man "I must go."
He-man rides off in the sunset, but what he is doing is transforming back into prince Adam. Man-at-arms arms and the Masters have come, he is glad his daughter is safe.
"I think you should explain yourself." Said Man-at-arms
"It's a long story." Said Gordon
"Very well, all of us will go to the king and queen." Said Man-at-arms
Nodding he followed these strange people to this Royal palace.
Eternia Throne room
"is it just me or Prince Adam looks like He-man." Said Gordon
This brought on a series of chuckles in the throne room, why? Because everyone knows that Prince Adam is rather clumsy and lazy, not much of a fighter despite Teela trying to train him.
In the throne room King Randor and Queen Marlena sits upon their thrones and the guards are there along with the Masters and prince Adam.
"Teela tells us you are from Earth." Said Randor "Like my wife."
"How are things there." Asked the Queen
"Well for starters I'm not from your Earth, your majesty." Said Gordon "But another Earth."
"Interesting." Said Randor "I take you have a tale to tell."
"I do and it's a long one." Said Gordon "My name is Dr. Gordon Freeman and this is my story."
He started explain about himself as he is or was a native of Seattle, Washington life in which he always had it's ups and downs since he got a job to join Black Mesa research facility, as he told them he was an orphan with no parents in which the only thing that people found on him at when he was found on the door step of an orphanage is his name and nothing more.
Gordon explained that he was already regarded as the quiet type and willing to adapt to any situation until he was in his teens as the orphanage at first put money away for him to go to college considering how smart Gordon is who is willing to learn and grow upon in life.
His childhood heroes were Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and Richard Feynman because books were his friends in which that is all he had. He told them about an exhibited an early interest in theoretical physics, especially quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity.
After observing a series of teleportation experiments conducted by the Institute for Experimental Physics at the University of Innsbruck, the transmission of matter became Gordon's obsession.
He told them he had no known dependents. As he explained he graduated from MIT with a Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics. His doctoral thesis on the teleportation of matter through extremely dense elements was titled Observation of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entanglement on Supraquantum Structures by Induction through Nonlinear Transuranic Crystal of Extremely Long Wavelength (ELW) Pulse from Mode-Locked Source Array.
He told them he took up residence in Black Mesa however his job in general in regards was nothing more than a joke like manual labor, despite his qualifications. Consisting of little more than pressing a button and pushing a cart as he found that to be a little embarrassing at times, but it paid well and Gordon often wondered if he would be doing this utter nonsense for the rest of his life. At time he spent in Black Mesa he only said a few words and kept his mouth shut most of the time, he considered himself a little anti-social being an orphan and all.
An inter-dimensional rift in space time happened and his world changed forever, as he told them in detail in which he became something he would never thought in becoming. A hero, he never dreamed he was one. In which he explained he survived all the challenges and got the respect of a few people for his acts of bravery. Then he wound up in another dimension called Xen and doing battle against an alien warlord named Nihilanth
He told them to never mind about the name, as he told them he killed the alien warlord and then he was confront by a being he despises the most, the G-man. The people noticed in the room how angry he got with that name. He was given a choice to live or die in a form of a deal. Gordon did not want to do either, then all of sudden the choice was made but not by him. No it was the G-man himself.
Gordon explained in detain It wasn't until two decades later he had learned the G-man put him in a place far from time, space, thought and even Earth itself.
The G-man stated the right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world it wouldn't be an understatement it is a fact as Gordon found himself in the middle of the occupation by an inter-dimensional alien empire known as the Combine.
They in fact conquered the Earth in seven hours thanks in part to a traitor named Dr. Wallace Breen, that name alone made his blood boil. Then he went to explain uprisings, creatures and other things as well in which began as Gordon helped in many ways often doing battle against combine forces until finally driven out of his dimension.
Then finally he explained after the death of a friend of his, his other friends went off to the artic in finding a ship owned by Black Mesa had survived and after discovering technology like the Hazardous Environmental Suit that was on board the Borealis Finally told them he went on several adventures in other dimensions.
He had finished his story the whole throne room is left stunned at this, an alien empire bent on conquring other dimensions. The sorceress who is watching in her bird form is stunned also. She had never heard of the word Combine before and wondered if Eternia had been visited by this empire in the past.
"You gave us much to talk about," said Randor "You are welcomed in the palace and the city. I need to speak to my advisors and the rest of the Masters."
"No problem." Said Gordon
He leaves the throne room
Shrine of Hordak
Skeletor looked injured, but alive and Evil-lyn is by his side. Skeletor hated calling Hordak for help, but he pushed aside his pride for a moment.
"No, Skeletor I will not help you." Said Hordak in a mirror
"My evil warriors failed me and snake mountain is gone." Said Skeletor
"You lost snake mountain, is on you and not I." Said Hordak 'I will not send any of my forces to help you."
"Fine, but I came across an ancient text details of a black spire frozen in ice at the southern polar region of Eternia." Said Skeletor "The sands of ice."
"You tend to mess with forces you do not understand." Said Hordak "What you awake will be your undoing."
"Hah, the great Hordak is afraid." Said Skeletor "Good, once I awaken what is inside. I will conquer Eternia and then I am coming for you Hordak, everyone will feel my wrath." He bellowed out with laughter.
The image of Hordak vanished
"Hordak maybe right and..." Said Evil-lyn
Skeletor blasted her with his havok staff and said "I will do this on my own, you are useless to me. Out of my sight woman."
Evil-lyn had been knocked to the wall, she is alive and said "As you wish."
She walked out and feared what will happen, while Skeletor is heard mumbling in the background.
