Half-Life Battle Angel
Alita felt two emotions right now, fury and sadness which the mysterious stranger known as Gordon Freeman told them his life as a lone warrior fighting impossible odds against an alien empire. Ido and Hugo understand fully this man is a warrior.
Gordon could tell these people have been through a lot so far and the pne-free-man has been to far worse places than this. Because in some cases the people in their dimensions destroy themselves in many methods of warfare and Gordon's suit already scanned the technology here to upgrade his suit.
"I do like the symbol on your armor," said Alita
"It means Freedom," said Gordon.
"I want to see your dimension, I want to see the horrors first hand" said Alita.
"Alita, you shouldn't go." Signed Ido "You have no idea what is there."
"I will never grow up if I don't learn," replied Alita "I just want to protect you and Hugo, along with being free from Nova."
"Very wise of you, I'd say let her go." Said Hugo.
"Fine, you may go." Said Ido "Do bring her back."
"I will," nodded Gordon.
"But first Alita needs a upgrade." Said Ido
Ido gets up from his chair and motions them to follow him to a lab. Once they headed into the lab, a body is there and it's a Berserker cyborg body and Alita is impressed, Gordon as well and so the operation began and Alita is getting a new upgrade.
It takes a little time and doing, but Alita has a new body and she loved it. Something is missing and she took some paint, she wrote the same symbol that Gordon has upon her chest and Hugo, along with Ido and Gordon liked it.
She also got dressed into attire more appropriate for a hunter-warrior that featured black leather in the form of fingerless gloves, a sleeveless shirt, and pants. Combined with knee-high brown boots and a light yellow trench coat.
"I'm ready, let's go." Said Alita
"I will give you the grand tour." Said Gordon "Be warned it won't be pretty."
"I understand," nodded Alita.
Gordon activated a portal in front of them which Alita looked amazed at something appearing out of no where. Gordon chuckled and motioned for her to follow him. She takes a deep breath and walks with him inside the portal, then they both vanish along with the portal.
Outside white forest base
Gordon and Alita appeared out from the portal and he has come back to his dimension once again and nothing has changed, he hasn't been gone too long and Alita noticed two people came towards them, Gordon grinned to know who it is.
Standing before her is a half-Asian/ half-African American woman in her mid twenties. She has brown hair with a brown headband, a blue jumper shirt with a brown jacket and blue jeans along with a pendant around her neck. Next to her is some sort of large robot made up of spare parts that Alita has never seen before.
"Gordon, back again huh," said Alyx
"Oh you know me I come and go," chuckled Gordon "Alita this is Alyx and her pet D0g."
"D0g like pretty girl, woof woof." Said the robot
"Is he a real dog or had it's brain implanted into a cyborg body," asked Alita?
"My dog died after the combine invasion, so I put his brain into a body." Said Alyx
"Impressive," said Alita
"Yes, well Gordon are you giving her the tour." Said Alyx
"Yes," said Gordon
"Just to warn you Kliner is arguing with Magnesium again," said Alyx "Same old bullshit like always."
It's roughly quiet in the day time, the only thing that made a noise is the walking upon the cracked road like. Alita noticed a spire structure that looked destroyed and Gordon mentioned it was a supression tower that humans from having children.
After the tower was destroyed, it was discovered after prolonged exposure humans can't have kids at all, no cure at all. Gordon did mentioned after the seventh hour war all the world's children were gathered and slaughtered by the Combine. Alyx mentioned she is only few child survivors.
Alita growled and shook her fist in anger. They have reached the perimeter of White Forest base, as there are guard's armed ones too and then once they reached the base itself the gates opened and Alita noted this place is well defended and some people looked like they are recovering from injuries by advanced medical supplies.
"They're recovering from the seige of City 88," said Gordon "Hell of a battle that was."
"White flash helped," said Alyx
They headed into the main lab of the base, and headed inside. They can hear a lot of talking as it is coming from one of the offices as they know they are arguing about this and that like always. Opening the doors to the office lab, and predicted correctly as the two doctors are in the lab and looking at the technology that they acquired from the Borellis.
"Give a rest you two." Chuckled Gordon
"Ah, Gordon your back and you brought a new friend." Said Kliner
"Hm, yes she looks kind of weird." Said Magnesium "Now back on topic about the black forest matter."
"Is there something I should know." Said Gordon
"Well," said Kliner "Adrian and his team set off to black forest to get a chache of technology left behind by the combine. Only for his team come under attack by creatures."
"Yes," said Magnesium "Why don't you and your friend here go rescue them."
"I'm right here you know." Said Alita.
"Gee, nice to see the both of you again and what no hi or hello." Said Gordon "Okay Alita and I will rescue Adrian."
"A transport will take you nearby." Said Alyx
"What is Black Forest" Asked Alita?
"It's a place far worse than Ravenholm." Said Alyx "I will explain it along the way."
