Authors note: Sorry about the wait guys. Hopefully this one is worth it. I've been revisiting some old stories that I've read, and I finally decided to pick mine back up. I hope you guys even remember the story and for those of you who do I hope you enjoy it!

It was a quiet day in the administration office and that's just how Shikamaru liked it. He had Minimal paperwork to do so he was fairly optimistic he could get out of the office early. He calculated he could do an hour or two of cloud gazing later before his wife was done with dinner. As he sat in his office chair he couldn't help but admire his office. He had specifically chosen this space in the Hokage's tower. The office offered a great view of the village and on a day like today it was even better. The sun was high in the sky and there wasn't a cloud in sight.

The head village strategist sighed as he took a sip of his water that was adjacent to the report's he had been working on. He sat his glass down and begrudgingly got back to work; however, he quickly stopped as he saw a ripple in the glass of water. At first he was alarmed but then he felt a familiar chakra flare up.

"You disgusting little perv!" Shikamaru heard the Hokage's wife yell from down the hallway.

The strategist glanced at the door to his office for a while before chuckling and getting back to work.

"Whatever that's about, it's totally not my problem," He shrugged to himself as he returned to his paperwork.

Truth be told he couldn't help but feel a bit of enjoyment at hearing the commotion. It had been so long since things felt normal, he knew the situation with Naruto and Sakura was far from ideal. Yet, he knew with her around his friend was in a better place and eventually like always; they would get the rest sorted out in due time.

However, as soon as he started to write again a larger vibration knocked over his water dowsing his paperwork.

The village head strategist let out a deep sigh as he gazed at his now soggy reports.

"What a drag….I wonder what he did this time?" Shikamaru muttered to himself.

"I really think you're overreacting to this," Naruto nervously said as he circled around his desk avoiding his wife at all costs.

"And I really think you're a creepy pervert!" The Pinkette countered as she shifted around the desk again.

However Naruto was too quick as he matched her movements. A part of him was elated that this was going on. For him and his family this was a pretty normal exchange from time to time. Yet, at the same time he was truly in fear for his life. His wife from another timeline was chasing him around his desk while his daughter was cowering in the corner of his office.

"How in your right mind could you teach our daughter that!?" Sakura asked, as her eyes narrowed at the blonde. Her anger was so bad that she didn't even realize she said "OUR DAUGHTER,"

"Well technically it wasn't me. I mean yes, I'm the original teacher of that jutsu but I promise it wasn't me. Plus, all of this stems from a history lesson that she insisted on knowing!" The fearsome seventh Hokage tried to explain in a voice that was a little too childlike.

"Explain yourself!?" The pink haired medic fired back with impatience.

"Well Hanami needed to train in earth style jutsu so naturally I got her a trainer that was proficient in that field. I should also add that with both of our obligations we were too busy to give her the proper guidance," The blonde explained.

"That certain trainer told our daughter the true story of how I landed a decisive blow to Kaguya. In other words, Konohamaru did it!" The Hokage snitched, disregarding the safety and well-being of the man who was like a younger brother to him.

Sakura blushed for a minute, recalling how Naruto had used the sexy jutsu on Kaguya. Which shocked the Godlike woman enough for Naruto to land a decisive blow that helped shift the battle.

Hanami looked at her mother's newfound expression and muttered out. "Mom really is a perv,"

The young Uzumaki was quiet when she spoke her words but she wasn't quiet enough. Slowly and robotic-like Sakura turned her head towards her daughter.

"You want to say that again?" Sakura asked with an eerie amount of killing intent directed at the girl.

"I-I'm sorry what was the question?" Hanami shuttered out with terror laced in her voice.

Sakura shot a piercing gaze at her daughter for what seemed like forever before turning her attention back to her husband.

"I'm very disappointed in your pervy ways," Sakura said, narrowing her eyes at the blonde before turning towards the door.

Sakura authoritatively pointed to her daughter in the corner with her back now turned to Naruto.

"You, let's go," Sakura commanded and watched as Hanami quickly complied.

Naruto amusingly watched as the young girl approached her mother slowly until she was a safe distance past her. When the young Uzumaki felt like she was out of arm's reach she quickly ran out of the room afraid for her life.

"So I'm guessing the training went well?" Naruto asked, regaining his composure almost instantly.

"Well…," Sakura tailed off.

-Flashback:

Sakura observed her daughter at the brink of exhaustion. They had been training since Monday and it was now Thursday. Hanami had been making a considerable amount of progress. However, at this point Sakura figured Hanami would not make her deadline of a week.

Which was fine, even though they had some time left, Sakura truly never expected Hanami to grasp the concept completely. It took prodigies months if not years to grasp how to precisely control their chakra. However, The pink haired medic calculated that if she could even improve Hanami's Chakra control by one tenth it would help her exponentially.

Sakura was just about to call it quits for the day's training session.

"Not yet! I want to try one more time," Hanami yelled as she breathed heavily from exhaustion.

Sakura's gaze lingered upon the girl taking her back to when Naruto was a kid. She couldn't help but see the undeniable resemblance of determination and fight.

The medic didn't say anything but only nodded to her daughter who stared at the boulder in determination. So far all the girl had managed to do was barely crack the rock. Still, she was determined to not give up. It was just the way she was, giving up was just not an option for her.

"If I give in I'll never be able to catch up to Onii-San who always seems to be two steps ahead of me," Hanami breathed heavily as she bit her lip in frustration.

She took a deep breath calming herself before she began channeling Chakra to her legs.

"Remember everything you've learned," The young Pinkette said to herself as she took off at breakneck speed towards the boulder.

Hanami made sure she didn't put too much chakra into her legs. She had definitely become more resourceful at saving her chakra and her timing had improved immensely. Yet, when she did disperse her chakra it was still far too sloppy. She spent from sunrise to sunset for the past 4 days completely exhausting herself. She was determined to succeed, all that hard work and her mothers time would not go to waste.

She quickly closed in on her target jumping into the air to land a decisive blow. Cocking back her fist she quickly closed in on her target at an impressive speed. Just as she made contact with the bolder she released a burst of chakra from her right fist. Instantly it felt like she was punching through glass rather than a large boulder that had been frustrating her all week.

Sakura looked on in awe as her daughter created a rather large explosion.

As the dust settled, Sakura's eyes went wide. Gone was the Boulder, it was replaced by a Crater which had to be about fifteen meters wide and 6 meters deep.

Once the dust settled the Medic observed that Hanami had passed out. Not only was the girl unconscious but she was covered in a mix of blood, sweat and dirt. Sakura was frozen for a minute just staring in surprise. Small pieces of debris fell around her landing in her hair and all over her clothing. The pinkette noticed that she had turned the boulder to mostly dust which was no easy feat for someone her age.

Sakura's body flickered over to the girl and put a green hand of healing Chakra on her Forehead. The medic quickly assessed that Hanami passed out because of chakra exhaustion. Slowly Hanami's body relaxed more and the girl slowly opened her eyes.

"I did it," The young Pinkette said grinning at her mother before passing out again. Sakura didn't say anything at first. The look her daughter had given her took her back to her childhood. It was a look of determination coupled with a grin that was unmistakably Naruto's.

She smiled softly before moving some of the hair out of Hanami's face.

"You sure did," The medic said softly as she continued to heal her daughter in silence. Sakura Quickly began to notice a feeling in her chess. A feeling she could only classify as pride, pride and love for her daughter.

Two days later: The two Uzumaki women were sparring in training ground 12. This had been going on for the past few hours. Hanami had about seventy five percent mastery over her Chakra control. Which was better than most career Ninja. However, her mother insisted that it needed to be at least 90 percent.

Still the newfound chakra control wasn't helping her land a blow on her mother. She had been at it for two days and she hadn't even touched her one time. The only thing she had managed to do was create small and large craters all over the training grounds.

To add to that the past two days all her mother had done was taunt her. Also It didn't help that all the boulders and debris made the battlefield an obstacle course.

Hanami had to think of a way to catch her mother off guard. She knew it was futile to try and beat her mother in a fight head on. So Hanami decided on getting just one hit, if she could get one hit on her that would satisfy her.

The young girl brainstormed but nothing came to mind. Everything that she learned in the Academy didn't truly pertain to fighting a SSS ranked ninja. In those situation's young Genin were only supposed to run away as fast as possible. Plus, she already threw everything at her mother including the kitchen sink to no avail. To further add insult to injury her mother told her it would be their last day of sparring. Sakura thought it best for Sunday to be Hanami's rest day before the Academy started its next term.

Then she thought back to what her Ojisan and konohamaru had told her about her father's legendary fight with the priestess Kaguya. Konohamaru specifically told her that she couldn't tell anyone about her dad's secret move because he didn't want the public to know.

At this point Hanami was getting desperate and she knew the sun was going down. Soon her mother would call off the fight and that would be the end of it.

"I've trained too hard to come this far and give up! This is definitely a longshot but screw it, I've got nothing left!" The young girl thought to herself as she strategized her last move.

She quickly put some distance between her and her mother. She then made her fathers signature hand sign summoning 20 shadow clones.

"You're wasting your chakra with this old trick," Sakura said in a bored tone with a smirk on her face.

"So! I'm still not giving up!" Hanami declared as her clones scattered. Hanami then did a fury of hand signs within a matter of seconds.

"So be it," Sakura shrugged nonchalantly, even though she was secretly hoping her daughter had something good cooked up.

"Earth style! Earth dragon jutsu!" A giant stone dragon shot up from the ground towering over the battlefield.

The pink haired medic sighed hoping her daughter had thought of something better than a dinky old stone dragon.

However, Hanami kept weaving hand signs. "Earth style Earth dragon bullet jutsu!"

As her hand signs were complete the dragon shot lightning fast bullets of earth out of its mouth, causing Sakura to jump out of the way to avoid the on slot. Sakura easily dodged the earth bullets by body flickering from place to place.

"There's no way I'm done yet!" Hanami yelled jumping on top of the Dragon's head and made even more hand signs.

"Fire style, fireball jutsu!" At once a massive fire ball flew from the young girl's mouth setting the flying projectiles from the dragon's mouth on fire.

The super heated earth bullets flew out of the dragon's mouth so fast that they created a Screaming sound when they caught fire. Even more, when they did hit the ground there was a rather large explosion that she also had to dodge.

Sakura dodged the flaming bullets with ease while silently impressed with her daughter's element combination. Very few Ninja had the control nor the mastery to pull off a different element jutsu combination.

Sakura thought the battle was coming to an end calculating Hanami was exhausted. That was until Hanami's shadow clones popped out of the ground engaging her in a taijutsu fight.

This made things a little bit more complicated as Sakura had to dodge flaming projectiles while fighting pesky clones.

One of Hanami's clones popped out of the ground and tried to uppercut sakura. Sakura dodged it and then proceeded to grab the clone's arm and launched it into one of the flaming earth bullets dispelling the clone upon impact.

Just when the medic thought it was all over the dragon launched itself at her. She took the dragon head on, splitting it in half like sharp scissors going through a piece of paper.

The Pinkette figured something was out of the ordinary. Hanami had used a similar attack on her before and figured something had to be different this time.

As soon as she disposed of the dragon Hanami and her clones came charging towards Sakura except this time she was making more hand signs.

"Let's see how you like this!" In an instant about fifteen clones surrounded her mother.

"Transform!" Hanami yelled.

The next thing Sakura noticed was a ton of smoke. The medic knew that Hanami had performed some type of jutsu; she just didn't know what.

The next thing Sakura noticed was a smell in the air that she had to admit smelled good. To her it was a stubble hint of a man's cologne. The smell of pine and cedar mixed together to create a refreshingly clean smell.

The smoke began to clear and what was left were fifteen half naked, finely chiseled, handsome men. The only clothing they had were small towels covering their lower extremities.

"B-But," Was all Sakura could get out.

She went redder than a tomato as the men all descended on her. They wrapped their arms around her while telling her how beautiful she was. As they made contact with her the small towels they were wearing fell off. The shock was just too much, never in her life did she expect her daughter to pull something like this. The pink haired medic felt a nosebleed coming on.

The next thing Sakura saw was Hanami right in front of her with her fist cocked back.

"Take this! Super secret sexy male bathhouse jutsu!" Hanami brought her fist to her mothers stomach with all the strength that she had left. She made sure she timed her chakra perfectly with the punch.

The hit connected with her mother's stomach sending her flying back into the trees. Hanami could hear her mothers body crashing into various things as the blow created an impressive amount of damage to the landscape.

The last thing Hanami saw was dust in the air before she passed out with a smile gracing her face. The young girl hit the ground with a thud.

Sakura on the other hand had caught herself shortly after her punch connected. She had to dig her heels into the ground to stop her momentum. When she finished her backward slide she was crouched with her right hand in the dirt bracing herself. Both her feet were dug deep into the ground behind her, stopping her from sliding anymore.

Sakura truly did want to say something, anything really, but she couldn't think of anything. Hanami proved to be just as unpredictable as her father. The fact that she was so much like Naruto irritated her. Maybe the thing that irritated her more was the fact she knew she was still blushing from the super secret attack.

The Medic's once tied up hair was now loose and in her line of vision. The pinkette blew a few strands of hair out of her eyesight in annoyance. She was now thoroughly pissed and she knew exactly who was responsible for it.

-End Flashback-

"Well it looks like the little rugrat gave you a run for your money," Naruto smiled, rubbing the back of his head. Silently, and more so nervously contemplating his little daughter, having strength like her mother.

Sakura should have been mad at him. She truly wanted to be mad at him. However, she couldn't, the soft smile he was giving her broke down her defenses.

She turned her head from his gaze hiding her blush. Sakura ran her hand through her hair in frustration. She let out a deep breath before addressing him hoping she could gain her composure back.

"For our kid I honestly think she's the perfect version of you and me mixed together," Sakura said in a hushed tone.

Sakura realized what she said but it was too late to recant her statement. She truly couldn't grasp how Naruto made her feel and say things like this.

This also caught the Hokage off guard, he wasn't expecting Sakura to say anything like this. More so, he was expecting something to hit him in the head.

Still the blonde quickly shook himself out of his surprised state.

"She kinda is the best," Naruto playfully said, smiling affectionately.

"I guess we should keep her," Sakura playfully added

"Sure," Naruto added with a casual shrug, causing Sakura to let out a giggle she didn't know she had in her.

After they Both stopped laughing there was silence once again. Silence was an all too familiar theme for the both of them.

"Well I guess I'll see you at home," Sakura spoke, reaching out for the door handle.

"Sakura-Chan wait!" Naruto said a little more loudly than he wished he had.

Sakura turned around and the expression on her face almost caused Naruto to melt right there.

She looked so unsure of herself but at the same time so confident. The look she was wearing made her all the more beautiful to Naruto.

"Thank you," was all the blonde could get out.

However, his message was conveyed as Sakura softly smiled at him and nodded her head in acknowledgment.

"I'll see you at home," Sakura said, as she awkwardly motioned to the door before suddenly stopping in her tracks.

The pink haired medic quickly spun on her heels and gave Naruto a skin crawling smile. The Hokage noticed that there was a rather large vein popping out of the side of her forehead.

"Oh by the way, tell konohamaru he'll be seeing me soon," Sakura said in a more menacing tone than even the most cold blooded assassin could muster.

Naruto felt a lump in his throat that he gulped down, nodding his head profusely.

Um, y-yes mam, I'll let him know. The blonde said bowing to his wife as she casually left out of his office like nothing had happened.

As soon as she was out of earshot the Hokage muttered to himself "Better him than me,"

-Shopping district in the Leaf Village-

Konohamaru was walking with Moegi throughout the shopping district. They had been walking around window shopping and occasionally buying various things on their day off.

All of a sudden the third Hokage's young grandson stopped in his tracks.

"What's wrong?" Moegi questioned, seeing her friend freeze up.

The Jonin had a noticeably cold sweat running down his face. "I'm not sure but I just got a chill through my whole body for some reason," Konohamaru replied, rubbing both sides of his arms in a desperate attempt to comfort himself.

3 months later:

Sakura had gotten up to use the bathroom late in the night, for some reason she just couldn't seem to sleep. After she stepped out of the restroom she heard a noise coming from the third-floor.

Naruto's office and bedroom was up there and she could see a faint light coming from the stairs. She knew this time of night was late even for the Hokage. A part of her just wanted to go back to bed but curiosity got the best of her. Slowly she ascended the stairs to his door which was cracked open.

She hesitated at first but found the courage to knock on the door. She wasn't sure why she was still so timid around Naruto. It had been about four months since she had been in this time. She should have been used to him and her new surroundings but she was still having trouble adapting to everything.

From the naked eye one would think Sakura was fine and for the most part that was true. Still, there was a veil of awkwardness around her that only her children and Naruto could pick up on, especially Hanami and Naruto. Regardless, that did not stop her from figuring out what he was doing late into the night.

She softly knocked on the door until she heard Naruto say "come in,"

When she entered the office she was surprised to see Naruto in his full ninja gear tying up his headband.

"Where are you headed out to this late at night?"

He gave her a solemn expression as he answered. "There's been a humanitarian crisis at the border. The land of grass and the land of rain had some type of surprise attack. Village Intelligence says that there has been a major devastation to the region. It caused considerable damage to both countries' military strength which has led to different Militia causing havoc and destabilizing the region. Furthermore, a lot of their vital infrastructure is in shambles,"

Sakura gave a look Naruto couldn't quite read but quickly that unreadable look turned to one of determination.

"If the situation is that unsavory that you're going I believe I should go to,"

This caught Naruto off guard. Sakura had yet to even assume her job at the hospital let alone venture outside of the village since she got stuck in this time.

He felt uneasy about her going, he wanted to protect her and keep her safe. Plus village intelligence couldn't guarantee there wasn't an immediate threat waiting outside of the walls of the village. However, Naruto knew with the look of determination she was exuding. NO, was not an answer she would accept.

The blonde Hokage let out a defeated sigh as he nodded to his wife. He then silently motioned her to follow him out of the office. The next thing Sakura knew was they were in their bedroom. Or rather the bedroom of the real Sakura and Naruto from this timeline.

Sakura never stepped foot into the room and tried to avoid it as much as possible. Not only was this the room where Naruto and she shared a bed but it was also the place where Sakura felt like she had no ownership of anything. As far as she was concerned everything in the room belonged to someone else, and she was just a guest. Naruto tried to convince her otherwise to no avail.

Sakura gave Naruto a disappointed look as it looked like the bed hadn't been made for some time. Other than that the room seemed pretty clean for the most part. Especially things on Sakura's side of the room, it was almost as if it hadn't been touched in years. The blonde slowly led Sakura over to a modest walk-in closet that seems to be solely meant for her.

She glanced over to the other side of the room and saw that Naruto's closet was most likely identical to hers in size. Sakura couldn't help but think she always wanted a closet like this.

She slowly walked into the closet each step as cautious as her last. She hesitantly touched the different fabrics. She quickly became overwhelmed by the amount of selection she had. Some outfits she noticed and most she didn't. She had to admit she was in love with every article of clothing she saw. Not only that but the closet had an upper and bottom section. Making her clothing collection even more vast than she thought.

She wanted to look more in depth but at the same time she didn't.

"I believe all your mission clothes are on your right hand side," Naruto casually said as he briefly read over the pre-mission report.

Sakura quickly looked to her right hand side and snapped out of her trance she had been in. She came across a green leaf ninja vest. Next to it were a few white clokes that had different markings on the back of them.

She grabbed one that had the Uzumaki clan symbol on the back of it along with the leaf village symbol. She smiled at it because the thing that made it unique was the fact that the Haruno clan symbol circled around the Uzumaki clan symbol. Sakura couldn't help but think this was the perfect blend for her. Not only did it symbolize her current family but it also symbolized her parents, her past and her individualism.

At the back end of the closet was a white chest of drawers. She opened up the top drawer and found a bunch of jewelry. She slowly brushed her hand over a few pieces of it, mesmerized by all she saw. It wasn't super fancy and most of it wasn't super expensive but it was just right for her.

However, she quickly snapped out of her stupor and dropped her hands to the second drawer. This drawer was actually disguised as two and when she opened it she found scrolls and Ninja tools.

From there she knew what she needed to do, equipping herself properly. She looked over her shoulder, glancing at Naruto. He was deep in thought reading an Intel briefing.

"So you're not even going to try and stop me from going?" Sakura curiously asked.

Naruto looked up from the papers and smiled softly at Sakura.

"I think this event might be related to you being here in the first place. Intelligence detected certain energy spikes in the area that are extremely abnormal. Plus, you may be from a different timeline but I know I can't convince you not to go,"

The blond scratched his head as his soft smile turned a bit playful. "happy wife, happy life, right?" Naruto said with a charming smile Sakura didn't know he had in him.

She quickly got dressed and did her best to hide her blush from Naruto's words. Once ready, She and Naruto both headed to the eastern side of the village.

To say this was a strange experience would be an understatement. Yes, Sakura was used to going on a variety of missions but to leave the leaf in a modernized train was an experience all on its own.

The train car was quite nice. Not anything super lavish but nice nonetheless. Naruto said this was the train car they made specifically for the Hokage. Sakura looked to her friend who was surrounded by different ninjas, giving him an update on the ever-changing situation at the country's border.

Sakura hated that she found the site charming. He was reading papers while subsequently nodding at the verbal reports he was getting from all the different Intel ninja. Sakura observed every now and again he would ask different questions which were promptly answered.

She shifted her gaze to the rising sun in the east. Sakura could hardly believe they have been going since the dead of night.

Before they even made it to the train they had rendezvoused with Shikamaru. He was not big on the idea of Sakura joining Naruto however he begrudgingly caved in. He made arrangements for their children to be watched by her parents until they got back. He also stated that they had dispatched a large group of ninja to the area.

Sakura was so busy in thought that she didn't even notice Naruto had taken a seat across from her.

"Are you OK?" Naruto asked with a tired smile as he rested his head on his hand and joined her gazing out the window.

Sakura couldn't help but stare at him for a quick second before she realized he had asked her a question.

She quickly looked up embarrassed and bit her lip. She then blushed because she realized she bit her lip in front of him. The medic quickly realized the more time she spent around Naruto the more clumsy she became.

"Y-yeah I'm fine, it's just not every day we get to ride a train straight out of the village on a mission" the Pinkette chuckled as she looked back out the window.

Naruto only nodded as the silence between them commenced once again. After a while the blonde Hokage began to speak.

"I want you to know there have been reports of mass casualties around the area. We are not sure what's going on but the reports are saying it's only one person causing all of this havoc. As an extra precaution we have 24 Chunin and 12 jonin traveling with us,"

Sakura only nodded in understanding knowing that if they were sending that many High level ninja and the problem was much bigger than previously thought.

Naruto continued to speak "We've already got a few teams in the area but I'm afraid we had to dispatch our young freshly graduated academy students to the area to help with cleanup. It sucks, this is supposed to be a time of celebration for these kids but instead they get to witness disaster and devastation,"

"Shinachiku group?" Sakura asked in surprise.

"Yes, right now the hidden grass and the hidden rain village need all the help that they can get. So we have the kids helping with the devastated infrastructure along with securing defenses around the border. Ya know, when I became a leader of the village I wanted to create a system where kids could just be kids. But it seems no matter what I do, the ninja system will just always be a thing," Naruto's Softly admitted while staring out the window.

The blonde said it quietly enough so that the rest of the working ninja on the train couldn't hear it. Naruto wanted to make sure he always was a pillar of strength for everyone around him. But Sakura could see past that. She knew her friend felt and hurt just like everybody else. She also knew that everybody needs somebody to talk to.

"From everything I've seen you've done an amazing job with the village. I don't think anybody could've done a better job than you," Sakura said as she reached across and grabbed his hand in hers. In truth she didn't know why she did this. Emotions Sakura still didn't understand suddenly overcame her reflexes.

The sudden interaction made Sakura turn red, nonetheless she ignored her embarrassment and squeezed his hand giving him an assuring look. Intern he softly smiled and once again resumed looking out the window at the rising sun and landscape.

Deep down Sakura had an uneasy feeling about the situation they were going into. The thing that worried her more was she felt Naruto had the same feeling.
