Black Forest

Having just killed the Ant Lion Gordon and the others kept on moving to find Adrian Sheppard and the rest of the team that had been sent out to get their hands on some Combine technology. They had found one of Adrian's team, dead from being ripped and chewed up by an Ant Lion.

It was nothing, but a complete mess and Gordon used his suits scanner to find out where Adrian's distress signal is located. Wordlessly they kept on moving out of the abandoned village and into the forest once again. It was creepy, but ignored that type of emotional sensation.

They found a path leading deep in the forest and looks like footprints, like running away. More further they go the signal got stronger. Two more of Adrian's team members are found dead. Besides them are head crab zombies. They kept on moving until they found a castle a very old one.

What they see is a lot more head crab zombies, all of them dead and blood is splattered upon the grounds. A wall to the castle looked like it had been blasted open and the debris crushed more of the zombies. A light is on at one of the windows.

"Adrian," yelled Gordon "Are you in there."

"Gordon," yelled Adrian "Damn, I knew I would be rescued by someone and it had to be you."

"What about your team" asked Alyx?

"Dead," said Adrian "But I got the black box to the combine technology, those egg heads can do something with it."

"We will escort you out of the forest," said Gordon

"Good, this place has been nothing but trouble." Said Adrian

One Hour later: Outside the forest

Gordon had signaled the transport to take the others back, but he wasn't going and he had said his goodbye once again. This left Gordon and Alita alone, why because the one free man was going to take her back her dimension.

"Its been fun," said Alita "And I learned alot, so if you need my help again just call."

"Will do," nodded Gordon

With that he used his suits program to activate a portal right in front of them and the both of them stepped into the portal. The dimensional portal vanished with them.
