Chapter: 199
Enter: The Matrix
A phone call from a woman to another person, asking him if everything is in place for their encounter with the man. During their call, the woman notices that the call is being traced and she quickly hangs up. Soon after, law enforcement arrive at the hotel to arrest Trinity for being a notorious hacker in Mega City. Three agents arrive at the scene and tell the police lieutenant (who had neglected specific orders beforehand) that his men within the hotel are "already dead".
In Room 303 of the hotel, police officers arrive to arrest Trinity. However, the woman puts up a fight and defeats all of them. She calls a man and asks for an tells the woman that there are agents coming for her and she runs off. Eventually, she reaches an exit and leaves the Matrix before Agent Smith ran over the telephone booth with his truck. As the woman left, the three agents met up with each other and realized that they were looking for a man named Neo and decided to look for him as well.
But then, someone else appeared. Agent Smith knew who it is, a creature of unknown abilities and no name dressed in a business suit and held a briefcase in hand.
"Ah, Misster Sssmith," spoke the G man "Or at least all of you." He chuckled
"What do you want creature," asked Smith?
"My comings and goings are mine alone," said the G man "As I had been informed by my employer's that the terms of the contract will soon be invalid."
"What, we had a deal." Growled Smith
"Deal, you say," chuckled the G-man "You broke the rule dealing the other."
"Using their technology will help us keep humanity in place." Said Smith.
"Unfortunately, Misster Sssmith," said G man "Many had escaped and learned the truth, but not the real truth."
"What do you want us to do." Asked Smith? "Go against them their empire superior."
"You may do as you will," said G man "However a certain One free man will come."
"One free man." Said Smith "Who is he, where is he"
Suddenly the G man vanished where he stood there and agent Smith wasn't happy. He must inform the others of this, but first back to the task at hand to find Neo.
Meanwhile elsewhere
Thomas Anderson works as a computer programmer while maintaining a double life as a hacker, under the alias "Neo". He is restless and driven to learn the meaning of cryptic references to "the Matrix" appearing on his computer. Infamous hacker Trinity contacts Neo and informs him that a man named Morpheus can tell him what the Matrix is; however, the three Agents arrest Neo to prevent him from collaborating with Morpheus.
a portal opened up and stepping out of the portal is the one-free-msn Gordon Freeman. The portal closed behind him and looking around at his surroundings. What the hell? It looked like a complete wasteland as if a war had transpired. Did the combine did this or was it something else, something more sinister.
Gordon used his suit to scan for any Combine activity. It wasn't long before his scans discovered Combine technology, but not the combine itself. The scans detected life signs far off in the distance. Maybe human or something else he decided to investigate.
Undeterred, Neo meets with Morpheus and confirms that he wants to learn more about the Matrix by choosing an offered red pill. After swallowing the pill. He faded away into something else.
Gordon had been walking for some time, he is getting closer and closer to the life signs. What and who they are? He had no idea until he came upon a dangerous creature that is completely machine like octopus and it's gunning towards him.
Gordon draws out his gravity gun and fired which it's stuck in mid air, then he pressed a button as the octopus like machine is crushed by the heavy weight of gravity and so he went over to examine it. Looks pretty advanced and after doing some scans he kept on moving
It was like for awhile as he continued to walk, unt he stopped and started at what he is looking at. Millions of people who are hooked up to some machine. Examining more closely he suspected if he unplugged it, it would of killed them.
Suddenly someone wakes up or came out of swallowing the pill, Neo abruptly awakens in a liquid-filled vessel, connected along with millions of other people to an elaborate electrical sees a man in armor standing there.
"Hey you okay," asked Gordon?
"Where an I." Said Neo
"You and everybody else were hooked up to a machine." said Gordon "Seems you let yourself out."
"Do you know Trinity or Morpheus." said Neo.
"Never heard of them," said Gordon "Just arrived in this Dimension and boy this place looks fucked up."
"Yeah your right." Said Neo"
"Have you ever heard of the Combine." Said Gordon.
"No," said Neo "We got Company."
Gordon turned to see two more of those octopus machines chasing what it looks like a small space craft. Wordlessly he draws out another weapon in a form of a small handgun that looked metallic and fired two shots at the machine octopus.
The shots ripped apart the machines and they dropped to the ground. The craft comes towards them and as the hatch is lowered a black male steps out he is confused to see another man with Neo, perhaps he took a red pill as well.
"Get in, before more come." Said the man.
Gordon and Neo enter the craft as it heads off into the unknown.
An hour later
After getting somewhere safe Morpheus tells Neo that humans are fighting against intelligent Machines that were created early in the 21st century and have since taken control of the Earth's surface. After the humans darkened the sky to cut off their solar power, the Machines captured humans to use their bioelectric energy as a power source. Enslaved humans are kept docile within the "Matrix" – a simulation of the world as it was in 1999. Neo has lived in this simulated world since birth. Morpheus believes the actual year is closer to 2199, but really no one knows.
Morpheus explains that he and his crew belong to a group of free humans who "unplug" others from the Matrix and recruit them to their rebellion against the Machines.
They can hack into the Matrix and re-enter the simulated reality, where their understanding of its true nature allows them to manipulate its physical laws, granting them superhuman abilities
"Well that's impressive."said Gordon "Upon my calculations it's not 2199, but it's 2099 according to my scans."
"Are you human." Said Morpheus.
"Yeah, but not from this Dimension." Said Gordon "Considering these machines are using Combine like technology."
"I don't understand." Said Morpheus "Another Dimension with no machines like ours."
"How is that possible," said Trinity.
"I came from a world conquered by the Combine," said Gordon "Until what remains of humanity fought back and drove them out for good, I helped of course."
"It seems humanity fucked themselves, but not realizing they were duped by the Combine." Said Gordon.
"Who are you." Asked Morpheus? "And what is your story."
Well here goes." said Gordon "This will be a long tale about me and what is going on."
He started explain about himself as he is or was a native of Seattle, Washington life in which he always had it's ups and downs since he got a job to join Black Mesa research facility, as he told them he was an orphan with no parents in which the only thing that people found on him at when he was found on the door step of an orphanage is his name and nothing more.
Gordon explained that he was already regarded as the quiet type and willing to adapt to any situation until he was in his teens as the orphanage at first put money away for him to go to college considering how smart Gordon is who is willing to learn and grow upon in life.
His childhood heroes were Albert Einstein, Stephen Hawking, and Richard Feynman because books were his friends in which that is all he had. He told them about an exhibited an early interest in theoretical physics, especially quantum mechanics and the theory of relativity. After observing a series of teleportation experiments conducted by the Institute for Experimental Physics at the University of Innsbruck, the transmission of matter became Gordon's obsession.
He told them he had no known dependents. As he explained he graduated from MIT with a Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Physics. His doctoral thesis on the teleportation of matter through extremely dense elements was titled Observation of Einstein-Podolsky-Rosen Entanglement on Supraquantum Structures by Induction through Nonlinear Transuranic Crystal of Extremely Long Wavelength (ELW) Pulse from Mode-Locked Source Array.
He told them he took up residence in Black Mesa however his job in general in regards was nothing more than a joke like manual labor, despite his qualifications. Consisting of little more than pressing a button and pushing a cart as he found that to be a little embarrassing at times, but it paid well and Gordon often wondered if he would be doing this utter nonsense for the rest of his life. At time he spent in Black Mesa he only said a few words and kept his mouth shut most of the time, he considered himself a little anti-social being an orphan and all.
An inter-dimensional rift in space time happened and his world changed forever, as he told them in detail in which he became something he would never thought in becoming. A hero, he never dreamed he was one. In which he explained he survived all the challenges and got the respect of a few people for his acts of bravery. Then he wound up in another dimension called Xen and doing battle against an alien warlord named Nihilanth
He told them to never mind about the name, as he told them he killed the alien warlord and then he was confront by a being he despises the most, the G-man. The people noticed in the room how angry he got with that name. He was given a choice to live or die in a form of a deal. Gordon did not want to do either, then all of sudden the choice was made but not by him. No it was the G-man himself. Gordon explained in detain It wasn't until two decades later he had learned the G-man put him in a place far from time, space, thought and even Earth itself.
The G-man stated the right man in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world it wouldn't be an understatement it is a fact as Gordon found himself in the middle of the occupation by an inter-dimensional alien empire known as the Combine. They in fact conquered the Earth in seven hours thanks in part to a traitor named Dr. Wallace Breen, that name alone made his blood boil. Then he went to explain uprisings, creatures and other things as well in which began as Gordon helped in many ways often doing battle against combine forces until finally driven out of his dimension.
Then finally he explained after the death of a friend of his, his other friends went off to the artic in finding a ship owned by Black Mesa had survived and after discovering technology like the Hazardous Environmental Suit that was on board the Borealis Finally told them he went on several adventures in other dimensions
"I uh...need a drink." Said Neo
"Guess I will need one too," said Morpheus.
"Fuck, I need my head examined" said Trinity "Can you prove it there are other dimensions despite you have told us."
"Yes, yes I can." Said Gordon
