Queen Nina: Oh wow, never heard of that song before but after checking the translation, I feel that it doesn't suit Jin x Nina at all, sorry. It's a sweet song though. I think I can see why you picked it? It's also about the wind like the title of this story.

Thanks for the reviews!

A/N: In the original version, I had Jin propose marriage to Nina for the sake of the Zaibatsu. I think I'll change it up and do something different this time with the same outcome.

Oh also been thinking about Jun's psychic abilities and think Jin must have gotten some powers from his mysterious mama too. The game doesn't dwell on it much sadly but I will!

Funfact: Did you know Mokujin straight up told Nina she had respect for Jin in T6 SC Mode? Wise old Mokujin never lies. He knows what's up.

Chapter Nine

.

.

.

A new power manifested itself within Jin.

It was not from the Mishima bloodline but from the Kazama's. During the time Nina was in Busan with the Tekken force, Jin suddenly began sensing people's auras. His secretary was the first, her fear of him disgusted him, she was not worthy employee and Jin knew it somehow. If he fired her, the replacement would not be any different. Then came the auras of other employees, neutral pawns who would work for anyone for the right price, they had no real loyalty to anyone nor cared enough.

He went to the one place he could get any peace. A private forest which belonged to the Zaibatsu. No one else but mandatory employees were around including his driver whom was at a distance.

Jin refused to answer any calls and just kept himself to nature, silently praying to God to get this new power under control. He remembered his beloved mother mentioning about how the nature balanced her psychic abilities. This newfound ability would have saved him from the clutches of Heihachi Mishima. Because of his deception, Jin could never fully trust anyone. He was a mess. Had he known about the treacherous man beforehand, those past four years of his life would not have been wasted. He wouldn't have had to die for the devil to rise. How different would his life would have been if he never made himself known to his so called grandfather? Who would he have been?

Who did he want to be?

The sound of wildlife and running water soothed him. Little birds speedily flew around, comforting him slightly. If only his mother was here to mentor him. Jin sighed. Remembering one of his mother's meditations, he closed his eyes and focused.

He stood in the middle of the bridge above the river, perfectly content.

"You seem at peace." A gentle voice floated from behind him.

It was Nina's. Jin opened his eyes and uttered her name. Her aura wasn't….hostile.

"Yes?"

"What are you doing here?"

"Looking for you." Nina answered, stepping beside him. Jin looked at her from the corner of his eyes.

Her aura was warm and welcoming, shocking for a cold blooded assassin. It was as fresh and freeing like the river water that gushed over the rocks. He relished in it. Perhaps it was their ability to get on with each other now that was the reason for her not repulsing him like other people did. She came all the way here for him. For him.

"You didn't answer your calls and I was worried." She revealed, half sternly.

It was a good think his phone was online so she could track him.

Jin sighed. "I apologise. I just felt so overwhelmed with everything."

The blonde observed him. He didn't seem to be so shaken up but judging from his tone, something had spooked him. He wasn't even looking at her in the eyes. She wondered if she was the reason for his discomfort. The blonde looks at his hand which was firmly holding the rail. His knuckles were white.

Then without another thought, Nina gently placed her hand over his.

"Jin…," She began softly. "Tell me what's wrong?"

The moment her skin touched his, Jin was bombarded with a feeling of anxiety, it wasn't his own but hers. Her worry for him. The raven haired man gasped and then met her eyes.

She waited until he found the right words to say to her, no matter how morbid it was, she would hear him out.

"I don't know if I will survive but I am counting on my death." Jin said grimly. "You are free to walk away after I deal with Azazel."

Nina's hand moves off Jin's and her heart thumps louder than ever. She's utterly speechless in the moment and Jin averts his eyes away from hers. The moment of silence that followed afterwards felt like a long time.

She appreciated him coming clean to her but it still hurt. She didn't know why she was feeling the slight anguish but chalked it up to being his bodyguard. Protecting someone for so long only to have them lost to death was a tough pill to swallow. She didn't want Jin to die because he deserved to live without the curse of a devil.

Her jaw clenched and she swallowed.

"You might die. Won't you have any regrets?"

"My regret is not being able to know what it feels like being married to someone." Jin confessed wistfully. "I've never had the chance of being in love. Or having true companionship."

He was surprised he was telling her this. He would never confess this to anyone. What was it about Nina that comforted him? Was it her non hostile aura? Her dedication to her duties that made him trust her? Jin pondered silently.

Nina replayed his words in her mind.

Love.

What on earth was that? Nina wondered. Anna said their parents were in love. Nina always thought love was for suckers. But the way Jin spoke of this strange thing called love, it almost made Nina want to try it too. Almost. She did feel bad for him however, he was a good man who probably wouldn't have their last wish granted. That sucked.

Then a bizzare thought struck her. She owed Jin for saving her before. Since he was already paying her handsomely for protecting him now, that didn't count as favor. A favor would be give him his last wish. Truth be told, up until now, she was never going to love or marry anyone because she was a loner and liked it that way.

But the thought of never being able to repay the debt for Jin made her panic. She had to repay it.

"If someone married you, wouldn't that grant them the power of attorney if you… died?" Nina said, forcing herself to keep a straight face. "They'd be the leader of the Zaibatsu."

Jin made a grunt in affirmation. Nina thought about it. If Jin wasn't around, his asshole grandfather and dad would snatch the Zaibatsu. There was no doubt in her mind that neither of the other Mishimas cared about fixing the mess and Jin's sacrifice would have gone in vain. She would have no leg to stand on if she tried to fight them off because legally, the Zaibatsu only belonged to a family member or a winner of the tournament. As long as the Mishimas were alive, it would never belong to anyone else unless the law was on their side. It was a risk she wasn't sure she should take but Nina did not want to be a torn leaf in the wind, going wherever it swayed.

"We should get married." Nina suggested. "That way you can have the Zaibatsu restore the balance again after the war."

She met his gaze again, noticing his molten honey eyes widening at her words. Like a childlike wonder.

"You'd….do that? For me?" He whispered incredulously and then his eyes narrowed. "Why?"

"I'm repaying a debt here Jin. Since you're already paying me to be your bodyguard, helping you clear up the mess after the war is going to make us even."

"Marriage…," He mouthed, staring off into the water. "Nina you don't have to marry me. I'm not collecting."

"It would be companionship." Nina said. "I know it's weird but we can make this work. Minus the physical intimacy…" She added quietly. She hadn't touched anyone since she woke up from cold sleep and would not force intimacy on Jin. "Please Jin, just let me repay this debt because there isn't anything else significant I can do for you."

So she needed to do this for her peace of mind and that she felt Jin had to have his favor repaid before he….died. Jin couldn't blame her. She didn't seem like the type to repay debts but also could see that it would affect her if she didn't for him. Had he never employed her, Nina would probably not have done such a thing as they'd never cross paths again. Something changed during the time they knew each other.

Jin wondered how much she would change in the future as the war continued. What other sides would he see of this intriguing blonde?

Being married to her would change everything.

"Okay I accept your offer. I've never been close with anyone before." Jin revealed, sounding nervous. "This is going to be weird for me."

"Same here. Guess we're both loners by nature huh?" She said sheepishly.

He wasn't used to spending too much time with anyone despite going on a few dates before but that was during his schooldays. It felt like a long time ago. Jin also hadn't been intimate with anyone ever but suspected if he and Nina spent enough time together, such feelings may emerge especially after that kiss of theirs.

"People marry for love."

His words made her blush a little and she had to work to reset her face back to its unfazed look.

"I'm sorry I can't promise you anything beyond that."

At this point, she had great respect for him. Jin was the only man apart from her father who deserved her entire respect. Nina would need to know someone well before considering marriage and for that, love was needed. Since Nina was incapable of ever loving anyone, marrying anyone for love was off the cards. Her marriage to Jin would be a dept to repay. His….last wish.

"You can't force yourself to fall in love." Jin responded. "It just happens."

What did he mean by that? Deciding not to dwell on cryptic words, she brushed past him.

"Let's get to the Zaibatsu and sign the document as soon as possible." Nina said. "Time is of the essence."

As she was walking back towards the parking lot, he didn't see her sullen face. Nina crossed her arms in a way that felt like she was hugging herself. Her eyes felt a little hot underneath. The thought of Jin dying rippled her with melancholy.

After having signed the document in the presence of an official, the assistant and Eddy, Nina felt strange. She drove the bulletproof car towards the Zaibasu. Jin sat in the passenger seat, just staring out from the window. They were lucky her anxiety didn't make her drive like a lunatic. The blonde woman stole a few glances at him.

She got into the private garage and parked the vehicle. Neither said anything.

So many thoughts were running through her head. Eddy was shocked she was marrying her boss. She didn't like the look in his eyes. She didn't trust that official and his assistant either when they filed that marriage document. If this hit the news, she didn't know if she would be able to function right. Did she do the right thing?

It was then she felt Jin's hand rest over hers. Surprised, she looked at him.

"Jin?"

"This is real isn't it?" He asked her, sounding just as anxious as she was.

She buried her own fear and in a firm tone said, "Yes, it's real."

Once they got out of the car, into the building and to their connected apartment. They ordered room service and got some garlic lobster with baby glazed carrots and grilled asparagus. The delicious meal was consumed in silence. Jin ordered some chocolate souffle afterwards for them both.

Her boss wasn't looking too good so after she got dressed in her nightwear and decided to check in on him. After knocking on his door, she was granted permission to enter and walked in to find him in his pyjamas sitting crossed legged on his bed.

He looked cute in his pyjamas. But he appeared to be still anxious. She could not leave him like this so she walked over to him and sat on his bed.

"Didn't you enjoy the food? I enjoyed it." Nina broke the silence. "I could get used to this."

"Of course I enjoyed the food. I designed the menu."

Now she was surprised.

"Wow, here I thought you read philosophy texts all day."

"I know a lot of things that will surprise you."

Nina was glad he was talking now. She shifted closer to him and took his face in her hands to check if he was ill or not. His eyes seemed fine and so did everything else as she ran her critical eyes over him.

Jin shivered when Nina entered his personal space. He wasn't annoyed but mesmerized by her touch and how close she was to him even though her touches were not suggestive. She pulled back.

"I am fine, doctor." Jin said to her. "I have no fever."

Nina smiled at his mild jesting. "If you have regrets, it's not too late to get this marriage annulled."

"I have no regrets." He hastily responded.

"Then what is the matter Jin?" She asked icily.

Nina was starting to get nervous why he wasn't telling her anything else. He obviously had something to say but wasn't able to say it.

If he told her that he could sense people's auras, it would freak her out and she'd close herself off to him. But he had to tell her something so she would be appeased. Another thought swimming around in his mind came to the front. He supposed it was okay to let her know something.

"I just…I'm afraid of dying." He confessed. "I'm twenty one and I may die."

He sounded so broken.

Fuck, she felt his pain. All of it. This was such a new and alien feeling to her. Not knowing what else to say to him to help alleviate his fear, she sat there dumbfounded. Nina felt a hand on her arm.

"Will you stay with me tonight?" Jin then asked her with hope in his voice.

Her eyes connected with his, searching for reason but found emotion instead. Without another word, Nina shifted onto the bed and sought a position next to him. She placed her arm around his shoulders and gently got him to get comfortable in his own bed.

Jin had an arm around her back and she snuggled upto him. She rested her head against his chest, his deep and steady heartbeats sound like a melody to her ears. Nina wanted to lighten the mood so bad so she broke the silence once again. This was awkward for her and didn't want it to be picked up by Jin.

"Are you okay with me picking a light hearted topic to discuss, Jin?"

"Of course."

She sighs. "Did you ever…..have a fantasy or a fetish before? Tell me something strange about you."

He knew what she was implying and he felt his cheeks heat up slightly. Jin bit his bottom lip.

"I have a bride fantasy." Jin whispered. "I love the white wedding dress. I think you will look very beautiful in it."

Her eyes widened. "Where the hell did you get a bride fetish from?"

He smirked, refusing to share his secret with her.

During his schooldays, he went to a club with his friends, had a good time and saw a pretty woman dancing in a bride outfit. Jin hadn't realised such a dress could have a spell on him. He looked at his bodyguard and imagined her golden hair over a lovely ivory dress. It would be a sight to behold.

Nina got silent and pursed her lips. She was eager to know about the secret adventures of Jin Kazama before his CEO days.

"Fine don't tell me, mystery man." She huffed. "I bet you like the sexy bride look. Would you like to see me decked up as your bride, Kazama?"

His heartbeat quickened up beneath her ear. She smirked.

"We're married now. You might as well dress like my bride." She heard him say cheekily.

Now her heartbeat was racing with his own.

Jin hadn't ever allowed himself to indulge much thinking in the erotic territory before but had some moments where he wondered how Nina's slender neck would feel against his lips and how it would feel for her to be kissed by him between her ample breasts. He couldn't help it. After their kiss, he couldn't stop thinking about how things would be if they got to make out. How it would feel if their bodies pressed up against each other's. He felt so guilty and ashamed for having such thoughts.

That day when he found her outside the holi event, stoned as hell made him have another fantasy. Since she brought up the naughty subject at this time, he felt a little brave.

"And I would smear you in colors." Jin drawled in a husky tone.

Nina bit her bottom lip in surprise, recalling that day he saw her covered in colors. She was lucky his eyes were closed because now she was blushing a lot.

"Kazama, you should watch your mouth." She warned lightly, smiling a little. Bloody hell, the mood changed so drastically.

How was she going to get any sleep now? Those tempting thoughts were now flashing in her mind.

Jin hummed in amusement and nothing else more was said between them as they both lay in each other's arms, trying to find sleep.

A phantom feeling of fangs gently grazing her nipple made Nina stir in her sleep. The feel of her breast being sucked greedily, a flash of the throne room and a pair of black wings filled her mind. She moaned and mumbled, her eyes opened up wide. It took her a moment to realize she wasn't in her own bed but in Jin's. Their legs were tangled and she was practically on top of him.

Nina rolled herself off the man and took deep breaths, trying to calm herself down. It terrified her to find herself in someone else's' bed. Her hands went to her breast where the devil had sucked. If it wanted, it would have bitten into her breast and harmed her. At that time she was so turned on, if she was weak, the devil would have had its way with her. Was it really the pheromones or was she curious about what could have happened? Nina shuddered in disgust. She put herself again in a position where the devil could spring out and do those things to her. Her gaze fell on a sleeping Jin. He looked so peaceful and content. Nina peered over his face, her fingers gently brushing his bangs back.

Jin was a handsome man and she would be lying if she said she was not attracted to him. She was very much so. Her eyes went to his lips. They felt so good against her own. She wanted to kiss Jin again but didn't know how to go about it. He was her boss. She had a strict don't bed the boss policy. She bedded him anyway albeit in a different way. And married him now.

Things were so complicated.

Poor guy, she thought. The thing was using his body, making him do things without his consent. She wondered if it had sex with anyone else using Jin's body before. If so, Jin would be traumatised. She wasn't an upright squeaky clean woman but would never do that to Jin.

Nina gave Jin one last look before removing herself from his bed. His digital night clock showed it was five am in the morning. Then she quietly crept out of his room to go to her own.

Morning came and with it a fresh new meeting. In the conference room was Jin, Nina and some employees along with Lars and Eddy. An traitorous employee had been caught red handed by Lars earlier and placed under house arrest. Before the meeting, Nina visited the blonde man who briefed her so she was able to take initiative in the meeting and go the extra mile in keeping Jin's plans effective.

Jin observed her during the meeting. She was wearing a blouse and a pencil skirt. It should have been unremarkable really but the way she carried herself with such grace and elegance lured him in. Her cleavage was not showing but during the meeting, he caught a sight of it when she bent down over the table to open up some documents. She was in his line of view. Feeling a little ashamed and flustered, he tried to play it cool. The feel of her soft body from last night lingered in his mind.

"Right, we got a real problem here." Nina began as she checked over some blueprint that one of the employees retrieved. "Obviously the traitor knows this place inside out. This guy has been sneaking in and out of the labs and obtaining data. I'm surprised you guys only picked up on this now."

She looked over at Jin and saw his eyes were focused on her. Upon realizing where they focused, the blonde smirked. She was not offended at all.

"Ma'am, this guy has just started to sneak in the labs. It's only been four months that he's been doing this." One of the guys defended themselves like a whining child.

Nina narrowed her eyes at him and scoffed. Such an incompetent cockroach, she thought.

"Four months is a long time. So obviously the security force at that lab sucks. I'm glad that the data this guy stole was fake because the real data..." Nina pulled out a USB stick from her back pocket. "...Is here. All the lab reports and data are saved here. This guy is clearly wasting his time."

"So what do we do now?"

"Well..." Nina looked again at the blue print. "We can seal off the exits but one because we need a fire escape just in case."

"I assume you're talking about door Twenty-four?" Eddy asked.

Nina nodded. "Yes. I believe that's the common door escape for everyone. That stays open. We'll know if this guy gets in again. You guys will be on watch and guard this door."

"Yes ma'am." They all said.

On their way out, they saluted Jin who remained unmoved.

"Lars." Jin said, stopping the blonde man from leaving. "Thanks for doing the neediful. I appreciate it."

"No worries sir." Lars said sincerely. "It was my job to keep the Zaibatsu safe."

Jin wouldn't forget that particular inflection on a certain word.

Nina looked the Swedish captain. In Busan he had a different demeanour but perhaps he was now on board with Jin's plans. It was good. It was the best for all of them.

As Jin and Nina were on their way to his office, Jin recalled last night's events, he felt obliged to Nina for supporting him. He felt as if she was the only one who understood him in this forsaken world.

She had held him while he fell asleep and then fell asleep herself in his arms. Jin was grateful for Nina's support and care. He needed it. She might have left before he woke up but he was happy that she had complied with his odd request. It meant so much to him that she cared. He wouldn't badger her about it why she fled.

Once they entered his office, Jin then asked her what he wanted to ask her all along.

"Do you trust him?" Jin asked her.

"He proved to be on our side so far." Nina said. "Lars doesn't seem to be a bad person."

"He's not but I have a…suspicious feeling on him." Jin revealed, that aura from the man wasn't evil but it was somewhat cautious of Jin. "We have a bad situation."

"Looks like it." Nina replied. "Personally I don't think it's just a stalker. I think it could be that someone is taking advantage of your little stalker's sneaky ways."

"Well your plan...I don't think we can really trust those guys...you showed them the USB." Jin told her.

Nina smirked. "I showed them a USB but that doesn't mean it's the USB."

Jin then realised Nina was smarter then she seemed. "Wow, you got them on a wild goose chase."

"Actually those men are a part of the stalker's plan. They've been helping him or her get through. It's so obvious." Nina stated. "I've set such a mousetrap that I'm sure we'll unveil who this stalking rat and thief is."

Without discussing it, Jin understood what kind of plan Nina had in mind and complimented her. "I knew I didn't make a mistake when I hired you." He teased. He hadn't said much in the meeting because he was too busy admiring how Nina took charge and seemed so confident. He loved it.

Nina saw the twinkle in his eyes and realized why he was mostly silent during the meeting. By stepping down, he allowed her to step up.

"You know Kazama, you seemed so quiet in the meeting." Nina said seductively, "I was wondering where your eyes where."

"Well unlike most of the men in the meeting, mine were not on your butt."

She settled her cup down and moved her hands upwards, hovering to her chest. She was wearing a silk shirt that was one button shy of showing her cleavage so Nina unbuttoned it the way Jin had styled his shirt. She cupped her chest lightly, keeping her eyes locked with his.

"Then were they here?"

Jin's eyes stretched and he stammered. Nina grinned and stepped closer to him without thinking. Her bosom just an inch away from his chest.

"I caught you looking." She revealed, eyes twinkling in mischief.

Damn. They just got married and already she was being so wifey with him. Jin anxiously wondered how long would it be until they went to home run but his mind shut off and he took another step. Nina moved her hands away from her bosom.

His chest pressed up against hers. Nina gasped lowly and shuddered at the erotic touch.

There was no point in denying it any longer. Jin wrapped his arms around Nina and she lifted her mouth to his.

Their lips locked into a passionate kiss.

A/N: I don't know if you guys remember but Tekken did it again with the pervy shots and we had a butt shot of Nina in T7 when she was talking to the Tekken force.
