Thanks for the reviews for both the previous version and the current version of this chapter.

I might have gotten rid of the roast chicken dinner but I have kept in the pistol whipping. Nina's trademark offence.

Evelyn: Like me you seem to like the idea of Jina being married. :D Yes Mokujin said something on the lines of: I sense that you're the type to only fight for those whom you personally respect.

Of course, Nina denied it. I wonder why.

I had a picture of Jina in a wedding outfit for TTT2 on tumblr, it's from so many years ago, before we got a glimpse of T7 so I was so pleased that Nina was in a wedding outfit. My Jin would love it seeing her in that outfit. Yes, Nina's biker outfit does contrast nicely with Anna's red qipao. I too wish for it to be her default rather than that uncomfortable looking codpiece they put her in (seriously, how does she even pee with that complicated suit?) Some people joked about it and said that her crotch pad must be sweaty and smelly….ew..not a good image.

Anyway back to the biker outfit, if they have on in purple too which is Nina's face color, that would be nice. I really love how it looked in BV.

Jin's office was empty and he was busy elsewhere so Nina figured she'd leave him a little clue to say she was here. There was some clean napkins on his desk for when they usually ate together. Nina smirked and grabbed one from the napkin stand. She lifted it up to her lips and pressed against it, careful not to smudge.

The last time they were here together, they shared a passionate kiss. A brief moment of exploration between the both of them. It seemed to lighten the mood. After some thinking, she decided it would be harmless to carry on with it. It would leave them with good memories rather than sombre heavy ones.

Nina peeled the napkin from her lips and smiled. A pristine print of her painted lips against white.

Jin will get the message.

Then she felt herself go down memory lane.

-Flashback-

"You're a coward. You want something but you stand around like a lost puppy instead, asking me to hand my sister to you. Why won't someone ask you on a date? Maybe you should ask someone on a date first." Nina advised Anna's waiter. "Standing there like a fool isn't going to bode well for you, is it now?"

He stammered a little more. Despite being dressed up in a crisp clean tuxedo and working in a posh hotel, he had no confidence and no charisma. How on earth did he even bag the job Nina wondered. Here she was sitting alone at the table waiting for her sister to come back and deal with this debacle, after all Anna had been flirting shamelessly with the man all throughout dinner. Nina leant back in her chair and held out her glass for him to pour the drink into it. He tucked one arm behind his back and effortlessly poured the bubbly into her glass.

Finally, Anna came back from the bathroom. Makeup all freshly done again of course. Nose powdered. Lips repainted maroon.

"There's your chance. Grow some balls and do it." Nina muttered under her breath, bringing her glass to her lips.

Over dessert, the waiter was busy elsewhere. Anna began accusing Nina of chasing him away to which pissed off the young blonde woman.

"I was telling him the truth."

"You need to learn how to seduce people so you don't scare them away sis. I really fancied that fella!"

"You can still salvage it. Just give him a hefty tip and a love note." Nina suggested with a shrug. "Put a lipstick mark on it."

Nina grabbed a napkin and demonstrated to Anna on how to leave a kiss note. She looked at the napkin happily and showed Anna, giving her a look that said 'See? I can be seductive too.'

"You never have feelings for anyone do you?" Anna grumbled and then grabbed a clean napkin.

She did the same thing Nina did.

"I don't really get feelings for people because a lot of people are full of shite." Nina confessed. "If anyone is going to touch this heart of mine, it's going to be a special someone sent from the heavens. Otherwise I'm alone. And yes, I don't give a fuck if I sound like some snob."

"Nina, you really need to have friends. You can't grow old alone."

"I know what's best for me. So shut it and lets drink up."

Once they paid and left the restaurant, much to Nina's surprise, the waiter came running to Anna and asked her to leave with him as his shift was now over. They were waiting for a cab outside and Anna suddenly left her side.

"Sis, don't wait up. I'ma be busy." Anna said giddily.

Nina pulled her back to say something in her ear.

"Anna, if you're going to do it, use protection. Don't be an idiot and risk getting STD's."

"Or a pregnancy." Anna added.

"And that too."

"Don't worry sis, I came prepared."

Nina watched the couple leave happily. Her heart ached a bit. When did her baby sister grow up so quick?

-End of Flashback-

What a bittersweet memory, Nina thought.

The blonde looked at the napkin she had kissed. She placed it on Jin's desk. Hopefully he will like that little gift of hers.

Then she felt her phone ring. It was a private number. That was...odd. Nina answered the phone.

"Nina!" The shrill and desperate voice cried through the line.

Nina almost peeled the phone off her ear in response. How did Anna get hold of her private phone number given by the Zaibatsu? Nina had to know.

"Anna. What the hell are you upto now?"

"Nina…" Anna chokes out sobs, "It's Kazuya…he's done something to me…I've….he's damaged something and won't let me get out of his office!" She blurted, sobbing even more. "I need medical help."

The blonde woman inhales sharply. It was rare to hear Anna cry but whenever she did, it was always a genuine one. The last time Anna allowed Nina to witness her tears was when they discovered their mother Stephanie had died a few years ago.

Anna hiccups over the line. "Nina…are you there?"

"Is Kazuya around?"

"No. He's gone for bathroom break." Anna whispered, sniffing.

It sounded as if Anna was wiping her snotty face. Nina sighed.

"You need to hang up the phone and pretend you didn't call me." Nina advised. "I'll think-,"

"Please come and get me. I'm no match for him. Please Nina, you're the only one I have." The younger sister begged. "I fucked up so bad."

Nina didn't say anything. She didn't know what to say. Could Anna be trusted?

"He found out about Steve. I'm worried for my boy Nina. I want to see him. Kazuya says he has him too."

The name coming up again made Nina freeze. She didn't know why she felt bile rise up. Steve wasn't her son but during some time she was made to believe so. Anna whimpered in pain snapping Nina out of her stupor.

"Stay there." Nina replied firmly. "I'm coming."

Not using the front door, Nina decided to use the roof instead. With her trusty grappler, she got onto the building and made her way down armed with a silent drone. It was a state of the art drone that relied on her movements. She just made it to the floor above where Kazuya's office was located and some guards began firing at her. Nina ducked behind a wall and made a cutthroat move at the machine with her. Her drone shot back at them, rendering them useless and out of her way.

She looks at her phone and using the drone camera, deduces that the coast it clear. Nina has the drone attach itself to a hidden place outside the office, in case she needed it as backup.

Once she's gotten into Kazuya's office, he's there and Anna's on her knees, hands tied behind her and hair tousled. Her mascara and lipstick was smudged. It also looked like she had a black eye. Kazuya was sitting at his desk, with a smug smile on his lips.

So he was expecting her.

Nina shot him a glare.

"Here to spill some secrets from the Zaibatsu?" He asked, stealing her attention. "In return you get what you want.." He gestured towards Anna.

"Get lost." Nina replied before strolling to Anna. She didn't feel sorry for Anna at all but hated seeing her little sister like this. She came in doubting Anna but seeing her in this sorry state had Nina confused. Her heart wanted to believe that Anna still cared for her deep down.

"This is what you got by latching onto Kazuya." Nina muttered under her breath as she reached for the rope.

"Ah! I wouldn't if I were you." Anna said to her. "Kazuya is going to kill my boy Steve if you don't spill a secret of the Mishima Zaibatsu first."

There was desperation in Anna's eyes, like a mother scared for her child. Nina hesitated. She looked at Kazuya and her hand went to her gun.

"Shoot me, I'll kill you myself and even Anna won't be able to change my mind this time." Kazuya warned. "A devil verses a thawed out has-been assassin. You do the maths."

"Didn't your old man wipe the volcano floor with you?" Nina retorted, taking her gun out and pointing it at him anyway.

He snorted, his blue energy crackled over his entire body. Then he picked up a file and held it midair. Towards her. Which was odd.

"Secret. Now."

Perhaps Kazuya was behind the information leaking incident and since she had tightened security, he thought he could trap her. Whether it was a punishment for having the audacity to nip his plans in the bud or just to toy with her, Nina decided to play along and make some random shit up. It would be fun to fool the enemy after all.

With a deep breath and feigning a defeated look, she sighed.

"Jin is planning to build new connections and make you guys go out of business."

"Yes? How will he do that? By snatching people's space colonies and oil fields?" Kazuya asked incredulously.

"Power. And people in this world worship those with power." She said, lowering her gun for now. Kazuya seemed as if he wasn't going to attack her at all. But she knew how to ambush him should he surprise her.

"That's so vague, woman." Kazuya said. "Read this file. It will shock you."

Cautiously, she took the file from Kazuya and flipped it open. There were pictures of Steve as a child and as a teenager. She didn't know why she suddenly felt so disturbed all of a sudden seeing a blond boy in a lab gown with a glum look on his face.

"What is the meaning of this?!" She snapped.

He snatched the file back from her, smirking. He had gotten the desired reaction from the blonde. The secret camera was silently clicking away pictures to make it look like that she was betraying Jin.

"What is Jin really upto?"

Kazuya then grabbed Anna by the back of her head and she cried out in pain.

"He is going to set up a base in Bora bora." Nina blurted out.

"Why that? It's a tourist destination." The middle aged Mishima scoffed.

"Hard to attack that island." She explained hastily.

Kazuya huffed, she had a point.

"Now can I save my sister?" Nina played along, lifting her gun back at him.

He released Anna and shoved her towards Nina.

"Nina." Anna whimpered.

The ropes were looser than Nina anticipated. She frowned as she saw Kazuya fold his arms and look unfazed. She could have easily escaped from this, Nina thought angrily and wanted to slap herself for falling for another trick from the bitch.

She held her hand out to Anna, playing along. Anna happily took her hand and got up, Nina then raised her pistol and whipped Anna across the face with it, sending the idiot onto Kazuya's desk.

"Bitch!" Anna cried out.

"What the hell are you smoking, woman?!" Kazuya growled.

"Fucking schemers." Nina muttered under her breath as she eyed the two.

Anna then whipped her head around and started giggling, blood on her lip.

"You fell for our trick again you dumb bitch." Anna laughed. "You betrayed your boss. Say goodbye to your job."

"Crying Wolf will be your doom." Nina said coldly. "Next time, I ain't coming to save your worthless ass." She promised her sister.

"You're a complete failure sis, don't even dish out advice or threats. You bring shame to our dead dad."

"No, that would be you Annie."

At the sound of the nickname Nina often used to mock her, the scarlet haired woman scowled. The song Smooth Criminal along with images of getting her butt kicked and arm twisted flooded her mind. She really hated that nickname. Anna folded an arm under her chest and waved the other one around, a mocking look on her face.

"Oh please, by force, you ended up in the freezer. I volunteered. Go figure, ya' big fat failure." The scarlet woman tutted.

Her boss intertwined his fingers and then rested his chin on his hands comfortably.

"Fucking failure. Jin has no taste in bodyguards." Kazuya joined in, his eyes gleaming with malice. "Ganryu would have made a better choice for him."

For some reason, that stung the blonde. Nina held herself back from unleashing fire on the pair who began laughing at her. She forced that rising anger back down lest she lost control and things ended up badly. It wouldn't be wise to react to schoolyard insults from these two clowns.

"Every Tekken mission she does, she fucking fails!" Anna laughed so loudly, wiping the mascara tears with her fingertips. "Bet even Lee Chaolan can get the slip over her!"

"Steve isn't in danger either, I presume?" Nina kept her cool, wondering if Anna treated her son the way she treated her own sister.

"My boy is safe." Anna scoffed, "I'm not like you am I? Leaving my boy in the jaws of danger. You almost got him killed if I hadn't put the mafia out of business."

"That was you?" Nina asked incredulously.

"Of course, I found out you were about to murder my son so I ended that contract along with the bastards who put it out. Of course, at that time you thought he was yours. Such a wonderful mother you'd be."

Nina sighed again, closed her eyes and tried to focus. She mentally kicked herself for coming to Anna's rescue. They thought she was a failure. She'll show them the meaning of failure. Opening her eyes, the blonde feigned a helpless act.

"Please don't tell Jin about this." Nina pleaded with Anna, knowing full well if they believed her, they'd send their troops to bora bora, waste precious time and get more maligned for ruining a tourist resort.

"I'll think about it." Anna grinned, grabbing a tissue and cleaning up her tears and smudged makeup. "Oh I haven't had a good laugh in a long time!"

"I'm glad it was worth it." Nina said sarcastically, discreetly scanning the room for anything suspicious. She couldn't help but comb the office with her eyes, out of habit.

"You finally took time away from your toys to help your little sister out." Anna clapped, giggling like a girl.

"Everytime I see your face, you always talk about that shit." Nina hissed, folding her arms. Why was Anna so obsessed with sex? Nina would never understand. This sex addiction of hers was a nuisance and an embarrassment to the Williams' name. No wonder dad was always ashamed of her. So revolting.

"Mishima men are well endowed. You should try out your boss. You won't be dissatisfied." Anna said sultrily. "Who knows, maybe that could save you from being fired."

"I take it that you've also had Heihachi." Nina sneered in disgust. Not finding anything amiss, she decided to head for the exit.

"No, but the lady friend of Heihachi whom I know attested to that fact." Anna revealed. "Best cock of her life." Her sister purred.

Kazuya grunted in disgust. Nina grimaced.

"If you two are done spitting at each other's shoes, you can leave ma' office." He huffed.

The blonde assassin was already on her way out and didn't bother responding. She had to make sure they brought her lie. That's what they wanted. Her to spill out one of Jin's secrets. Nina was going to let him know about this incident before they spun another lie to break any trust her employer had in her. She was going to meet up with him later.

Whatever these two were planning, she could nip it in the bud.
