Thanks for reading and reviewing!

Evelyn: Oh yes, Jin will love it when Nina wears that wedding dress for him. I think Nina would look great in any expensive glam wedding dress especially with that pricey looking satin. The wedding look really suited her and I loved the veil, earrings and opera length gloves on her.

Ngl everytime I see Nina in that purple twin squeezy globes/crotchpad strappy suit, I laugh. I can't help it, it just doesn't look badass at all. Oh dear. I think Nina's outfit in Anna's Tekken 5 ending (which inspired that outfit) came across as a joke when it fell apart so easily. I guess some people may be into that sort of stuff so yeah, if it were as an option in the customizations they'd be happy.

Chapter Eleven

After a good shower, Jin Kazama got dressed and went into his office to work on a list of areas to secure his bases. It was better than attending meetings, thinking long and hard like the way he played chess was more his thing. Jin first checked the news regarding G Corp as he usually did whenever he entered his office. His secret service gave him reports on G Corp soldiers on a chartered flight to Bora Bora. That was odd. His father was sending his army on a vacation?

Jin then glanced at the large window, the view was nice from up here as always but he was no fool.

Men in high towers always thought they were invincible, his mother had once said. It was just an illusion they fed their egos and Jin did not want to fall into the same trap.

He was just a country boy at heart who had to do something important…

Glancing down at his desk, he finds the lipstick printed napkin. He gently slid his hand under the napkin and gripped it with a thumb on the clean side. Then brought it closer to his eyes to inspect it.

The lipstick mark was fresh.

No one but Nina of course. He just knew it. A small smile spread over his lips.

The kiss they shared was hot. It was a strange word to describe it but he felt hot when their mouths touched languidly.

It ended when Jin felt himself react to such a kiss. He pulled away and Nina then asked him out on a date, a wicked smirk on her lips. Jin promptly agreed, allowing her to make the arrangements before bolting out of the office with an apology. He then jumped straight into the shower before Nina could feel it.

It was so embarrassing really. He'd always been successful in holding himself back from that while he kissed a woman. On the few dates he did end up going, they ended with a sweet kiss because he did not want to have sex with anyone unless they were committed to each other. Sex was so intimate and personal to him that the idea of it with someone who couldn't love him as he was terrified him. Besides such things were distractions and he wasn't mentally ready for that. His dates were mostly set up by his close friends who thought he needed a helping hand in getting to know women. Jin did not have much confidence at school either and while he noticed some pretty girls here and there, he never made a move.

So why Nina?

Was it purely physical attraction or emotional too?

He sighed, the answer did not come to him. He looks at the lipstick mark again, tempted to press his finger or lips against it but decided not to ruin the mark she so kindly left for him. Jin opened his drawer and carefully placed the napkin in there for safekeeping. He'd bring it out again to stun her in the future because he had a feeling his bodyguard would tease him further. He wouldn't even mention it to her. Let her wonder what happened that napkin.

His bodyguard was such a wayward woman.

She got him to spill a secret fetish of his. Jin wanted to even the score. Maybe if he could get her to spill one of her secrets during their scheduled dinner date but how? The fact that he was so interested in knowing her more surprised him.

He got carried away and in the shower, he was thinking he should cease this thing before he got vulnerable and let her too close. She may not be able to fall in love with him and he did not want to yearn for her love because he thought no one could ever love him. The idea of not being able to control his heart gave him anxiety.

His phone rang and he picked it up. Speak of the bodyguard…

"Hello?"

"Kazama, your security has been compromised." Nina informed. "Anna, my stupid minx of a sister got hold of my internal phone number."

He listened intently as she described the reason why she went to G Corp and that instead of betraying him, she lied to the enemy. He wanted to laugh when she told him about Bora Bora being a 'base' for them.

"I'm glad you're safe." Jin said warmly, his heart was beating faster upon hearing that the woman went to confront Kazuya. Not that Nina wasn't strong, his father was a devil and Nina lost to him before. The idea of something bad happening to Nina haunted Jin more than he'd like to admit.

"I'll never repeat that same mistake again." The blonde promised, sounding regretful.

He was going to hold her to that.

"Where are you now?"

"I'm coming to back to headquarters to investigate." Nina replied before hanging up. "See you tonight for dinner."

Jin looked at his device and decided that the next course of action was to investigate who was leaking their communication information outside. It was time to ruin the fun of some careless people and tighten security measures more than he already had when he first arrived here.

.

After entering the building, Nina went straight to the area she suspected and carried out her own forensic investigation by dusting for fingerprints. Eddy went to assist her.

"Why is it called door twenty four?" Eddy asked, tapping on the door.

"Because it's never locked." Nina responded with a rising smirk.

"People could sneak in."

"That's the point." Nina replied, "Then they'd get caught like the fool they are."

Both of them went to the conference room to sort out the samples and pack it up for the lab. After she'd find out who the intruders were, some bones were going to get cracked. That part would be the fun part. The two colleagues finished enveloping the evidence up. Eddy looked at the Blonde who was counting the documents, a question that had lingering in his head for hours finally slipped out of his mouth.

"Why did you marry Mr Kazama?" The Brazilian man suddenly asked.

Nina sighed. She wasn't surprised Eddy asked her this question.

"Why don't you try answering that question, Eddy? She shot back, "Why you think I married our boss?"

"I don't…..," He begins, alarmed at being put on the spot then he sighs. "I don't know why."

Eddy wasn't a bad person and she almost felt bad for reacting the way she did.

"I'm repaying a debt to Jin. That's all." She clarified. "We're not actually a couple."

Jin. Oh my god. She was calling him Jin now, Eddy realized. Things were changing fast and he didn't know how to react. What did this mean for their friendship?

"He trusts you enough to be his wife." Eddy pointed out.

"We trust each other because we have no reason to betray the other." Nina replied flatly. "Jin and I have a strange history."

She then proceeded to tell Eddy about Jin saving her from Ogre's grip.

"I am married to Jin so I can help him with a personal favor and it has nothing do to with romance. I trust you to keep this to yourself?"

Eddy nodded. "It's a strange reason to marry someone but it's not my place to judge you. I was just…shit, I'm sorry I should have not stuck my nose in it."

"You were the witness to our marriage," Nina said with a shrug. "I don't blame you. It must be weird to witness your colleague marrying your boss out of the blue."

"Do you believe in love?"

Assuming he was talking about the eros kind of love then Nina swiftly answered her friend.

"Hell no." Nina says, "I don't even know what it is. I don't understand it."

"I do." He says.

"Have you ever experienced it?"

"Yes."

"Define love."

He frowns. "Love is something that frees you from the confines of despair."

"That sounds lovely." She says. But it was just a whimsical fantasy. Deep down she felt incapable of ever loving anyone. Ever since that only family of hers betrayed her and played her for a fool, love was a joke to Nina from now on. Sometimes, she doubted if her father ever loved her and he just wanted a mini version of himself to carry on his legacy.

Not wanting to burst Eddy's bubble, Nina politely excused herself to get ready for her and Jin's dinner date.

.

"She didn't come for me, Kazuya." Anna said, looking out in the window. "She came for Steve….if I didn't drop his name, our plan would have failed."

Anna was not expecting Nina to give a damn about the boy. Here she was thinking that Nina stopped her own heart from beating. Something had to happen to kickstart the heart of her icy sister. Someone happened. Who the hell was bringing life back to Nina Williams?

A pang of envy then stabbed her. Whoever they were, Nina likely cared more about that person than Anna.

"Ha, it's the Kazama effect." Kazuya scoffed. "I knew it. Even I, went thought the same thing. I felt nothing until she came into my life."

"Oh please. Nina isn't the type to feel anything romantic!" Anna rolled her eyes, trying to deny it. "I doubt your son would have such an effect on my cold hearted bitch of a sister."

"You really shouldn't be talking on matters you don't fully understand. His mother's spirit lives in on him."

Jun Kazama. The woman who turned heads wherever she went. Despite being once jealous of the woman, Anna too had been curious to know what her secret was to have Kazuya by the balls. Perhaps, he was right then.

Jin Kazama and Nina had something brewing between them.

But what could it be?

Whatver it was, Anna had to get to the next stage of her plan. She dialled a number and friend picked it up.

"Darling!" Anna greeted her wealthy friend. "It's time to offer Steve Fox that job."
