FanTasy: I'm writing a couple I love so much and I don't want them to be meaningless or feel meaningless. We have a few amazing Jina fanfics that I feel make the couple meaningful like Nitewalker's (seriously sexy Jina chem here) and Bodominjarvi and there's some old Jina fics in my favs like from Newbrawler and Wellsy71 that give meaning to the pairing. So when you read fics of your fav ship that it feels like the writer really loves them, I guess it motivates you to pour your own heart out for this ship.

I wouldn't say I'm back 100%. I just felt like updating one day as I've had some chapters written from months ago. I'm busy with other things and these days, my interest in Tekken fiction writing is sort of fading. Someday I may get the zeal again to be more active if I get back into Tekken season. We'll see. Thanks for leaving such a nice review.

Chapter Seventeen

"Jin…wait." Nina called out to him from behind, as she tried to keep up with his long strides. He sighed and stopped, holding open his office door for her.

She entered and shut the door so both of them could have some privacy. She found him standing by the window which gave a nice panoramic view of the city. Her stomach somersaulted as she stood still. Since when did she get nervous in approaching someone? It was usually the other way round. Then Nina joined him. For a moment or two, she did what he did. Silently look out of the window. Everything looked so small beneath. Like ants. They were all the way up here. Out of reach from the rest of the world. She actually liked feeling this way. Away from the world and beyond someone's reach save for one person's. Jin's.

She wanted to be in his reach. Those days apart were agonizing to say the least. Looks like she had to say something first. The tension was still there, she could feel it. He wasn't looking at her. If she said the wrong words, the situation could be fucked up even more. Did he even want her around anymore?

He really didn't expect her to return. He was just unsure on how to react around her anymore or what to expect from her. The blonde woman silently stood beside him and looked out the window too. He was waiting for her to say something first. It only felt right that she start the conversation. Jin heard her sigh and it almost made him cave and turn to her.

"I'm back now, isn't this what you wanted?" She asked him, finally turning her gaze on him. She was sure that he'd now feel the weight of her attention.

"Are you sure you know what I want?" He replied, still looking out onto the city.

Nina folded her arms.

"Look Jin, if you're still upset about that man's death, it had to happen. It was either you or him."

Some silence passed between them.

"I know." Jin spoke up, softer this time. "However, if you want me to keep you around you need to do admit that you want to stay with me."

Shoot. He had to make things so challenging for her. She resisted the urge to fold her arms and scoff. Despite it all, she hated that he was right. His accuracy on reading people almost intimidated her. There was no hiding from him. No hiding at all. Not even the ice queen of poker face could fool him.

Dammit.

Not a soul in the world apart from her dad's made her want to be so near someone and to be in their company. Add Jin to that list now. Nina never thought she'd see the day.

However he still refused to look at her. She sighed in mild frustration. Grovelling was never her thing so she had to find a way to do it without it actually looking like she was doing it. But on the bright side, Jin seemed to understand why she had to kill that man. Finally. Hallelujah! Those difficult five days paid off.

"You want me to stay so you can break all my walls down?" She mumbled and her lips gave away to a smirk.

Of course. Jin half smiled.

"What if I wanted you to break my walls down?" He calmly countered.

She was aroused at the realization.

"Well, if you break my walls down, I'll break yours." Nina responded.

Their dynamic had her intrigued. Always.

She never liked boring people and since the world was full of them, Jin Kazama stood out like a gem. Nina didn't have to pretend he was interesting, he just was. Him not being a yes-man was one of the reasons why she came back.

As much as Nina loved to carry on this playful teasing and indulge in this strange thing they had between them, there was an important matter to be discussed first and it was really making her anxious. She let out a sigh and unfolded her arms, giving Jin a look from head to toe. Unsure if her efforts would work, she tried anyway because Jin was giving her a chance to make things right.

"I don't want to abandon you." Nina began. "Even when things get tough and chaotic, I am not going to jump ship."

I want to stay with you.

She knew he was smart. He would catch onto what she was implying with her words.

He felt a strange sense of calm over her words. They magically undid the turmoil he felt in the past few days they were apart. But he shouldn't give in so easily. He couldn't let her crystal blue eyes lure him in, let her voice lull him into a sense of enchantment or the way her pretty lips, those small and plush pinks ones distracted him as she spoke. He did not look at her still as he mentally prepared himself not to fall under her spell. Sometimes he just wanted to shove her against the wall and kiss the hell out of her. He wanted her to press her lithe body onto his, kissing him like no tomorrow. He wanted her to jump him and wrap those toned legs around his waist, rubbing him and letting him feel what lay between them. His heart pounded wildly at those thoughts. When she did that pole dance move on him, he couldn't get it out of his mind for days. She evoked such desire in him…he had to be careful.

"Do you trust me?" She asked him when he got silent again.

She needed that from him. His trust. They both simultaneously turned to face each other. He didn't mean to make her feel like a monster. It was more directed on himself that day. He lost control and she chose to fix the mess. She chose to.

He took note of the anxiousness on her usually blank face.

"After everything that's happened…," He paused, watching her hang onto his words, "With you leaving like that and ceasing communication…it's hard to admit it but yes, I trust you." His voice was deep, commanding yet soft."I trust you the most."

She gave him a small smile and sighed in relief. A huge weight was lifted off her shoulders. Nina really needed to hear that from him.

She sighed. "You know Eddy is innocent. He's being framed by someone under our radar. I'm not just saying this because he's my friend."

"I'm glad you're back." He confessed.

"Did you miss me?" She asked, with a glint of mischief in her eyes.

He jerked his head to the side. "Look over the desk."

She did just that and saw the napkin with the kiss print on it. He kept it. Jin Kazama kept that napkin. It told her what she needed to know. She walked over towards it and inspected the item like it was the first time she was seeing it. Jin quietly joined her.

She couldn't believe it. Jin Kazama saved that napkin! For days. Here she was, thinking he must have thrown it away. Her lips, slightly crumbled and almost gave way to a laugh. Pursing them, she spun around so her back was turned to Jin as she suppressed her laughter. It was so funny to her and kind of endearing. After days, a genuine smile and a beam of joy was on her face.

"If you won our bike race, what would have you picked for a prize?" She asked him, turning back around, slight amusement in her tone.

A grin spread across his face. It was unusual. Jin was always so composed and suddenly Nina found herself mirroring his actions. A grin was on her face too.

"What?" She asked in a chuckle, wondering what was going on in his mind.

"What I would have picked…." He let his words linger so she'd hang onto them.

She hung onto them, looking up in anticipation. Jin noted how dilated her eyes were. That was exactly what he wanted to see. It only gave him more courage.

His own eyes gleamed in that agonising silence. "…is you dancing erotically for me."

Oh you cheeky-!

Her cheeks became hot. Her mouth popped open. Jin smirked at the sight in front of him. He got his desired reaction. It took her longer to compose herself again. It was satisfying to know that he was succeeding in getting her to drop her ice queen act with each interaction. If they never bothered with each other, it would be never known that they'd have such joy inducing banter and how conversation just seemed to flow between them. So what he was about to say next to her shouldn't tick her off. After all, he loved to shock her as much as she loved to shock him.

"I mean you've done quite some dancing for me along with flashing me here and there. I'm sure an erotic dancing….a full on performance isn't too much of an effort for you, am I right? Miss Williams?" He said seductively.

He really was giving her ideas.

Jin remembered how mercilessly she teased him in his office that day and he'd been meaning to get her back for that. Brushing up against him, giving him an eyeful and biting the pocky stick off from his mouth like that. When she asked him about his idea of a prize, he couldn't pass up that opportunity.

Nina pursed her lips before opening it again and taking in a deep breath. This was the longest she'd been silent because of this sort of reaction. Jin got her good this time. It worked because she couldn't even put her poker face on so easily. She didn't understand why she was reacting this way. Flirting with him was supposed to keep her from becoming flustered from these things and keep their mood light-hearted.

"Y-you….y-you really are full of surprises, darling." She replied with a hitch in her usual icelike composure; a blush adorning on her face no doubt.

Her stomach was doing weird things and her knees almost bucked. Was that normal? Quick! She needed to take control of the situation, to turn things in her favor. It was her fault for bloody teasing him in the first place. He was bound to get her back. This man was certainly a vengeful one.

Her silence only made him bolder.

"Do you also know that biting the pocky stick off first means you lost?" Jin added smugly, with a brief tilt of the head. "You lost to me."

The woman looked like as if she was tongue tied. He really enjoyed that didn't he? Wanting her to lose to him. Never!

Her hands went to smooth out his lapels. Her cheeks were still hot but she was finally able to breathe well. The moment her hands touched him, she felt another strange emotion stirring in her.

"What I did that day, I know it was against your order." Nina began. "I didn't want anyone to become a thorn in your side."

"Thank you, for what you've done for me." He said lowly, brushing her hair behind her ear.

Words she needed to hear. "You're welcome, Jin."

The feel of his lingering fingertips on her cheek. Such a simple touch gave her energy as her eyes drifted towards those lips of his. Such a wonderful shape. So tempting…

He couldn't resist. One hand snuck behind the assassin's head and with care, he pulled off her hair band. Slid it down so torturously slow while he looked deep into her eyes in a way that stripped her off her professional act and left her speechless in his hands. By now she should know just how much he desired to be intimate with her. He had her full attention now. Without breaking eye contact, Jin tossed her hair band on the desk.

Nina never thought Jin undoing her ponytail would be such a sexy thing- a turn on. He really did find little ways of making her grow hot. After all, he was her darling. Once her hair was free of the band, she felt his fingers gently weave through her hair. His striking honey eyes once again ensnaring her in that abyss and lighting her arousal up in fire. She burned with him...

Beautiful. She was so achingly beautiful like this.

Jin slowly leaned forward and smoothed his lips against her lips.

Professional? What professional? That word seemed to be a nuisance and in the way of her desires right now. Right now, being unprofessional seemed like a feasible idea.

Nina kissed him back to prolong the moment, drinking from his lips like she just escaped from the Sahara dessert. Her hands went to his back. She had missed this! It had been way too long. Once their lips parted, a smile spread across her lips. Jin Kazama, the 'I keep my hands to myself' kind of man was now doing amazing things to her that it was hard to believe he ever was anything but a smooth charmer.

"You know, you really are a dark horse." She said flirtatiously, wrapping an arm around his shoulders.

"And you aren't?" He responded huskily.

She gave a low chuckle at his words.

His dark tempting eyes beckoned her to lean forward again so Nina did just that.

Their lips just barely touched when the door opened and a woman's voice interrupted them. Jin and Nina quickly pulled away from each other like two teens caught in the act.

"Oh my! Did I interrupt something important?" She asked.

You did, Nina thought indignantly.

It was Jin's secretary. The diva one.

"You didn't knock." Jin pointed out, sounding a little pissed.

Both his secretaries had an access card but the rule was always for them to knock before using it.

"I'm sorry sir but I'm sure she…" The woman pointed to Nina. "Didn't knock." She replied.

"Nina is welcomed here." Jin responded tepidly. If this secretary believed good looks was what swayed him, then she was sadly mistaken.

The secretary then narrowed her eyes at the blonde near Jin. What the fuck?! She swore Nina Williams walked into this office in a ponytail. Why was her hair down?

Were they-

If they weren't fucking, they'd be fucking soon.

Nina folded her arms.

Th secretary looked at Jin to refrain from launching into a gossip. "This medical report came for you, sir."

Jin took the large envelope from her. She smirked before turning away and leaving the office. Nina looked at Jin. It wasn't a medical report but another lab results which Jin concealed knowing that his so called secretary couldn't tamper with it.

"This is the real report. I had the fake report presented in the meeting to lure the culprit in a false sense of security." Jin confessed to her.

Being a CEO meant he could pull some stings around here. How easy it was to convince the lab to post a hard copy of the report in this way. Nina was again, impressed with his intelligence but she couldn't forget how distressed Eddy was in the meeting.

"Jin, I don't see how throwing Eddy under the bus is good for his mental health even if it's part of the plan."

"Your friend Eddy can't even defend himself in the boardroom and you expect me to take his word for it." He muttered to Nina. "He can't even put up a good fight."

Jin didn't seem to like Eddy for some reason. That was strange, Nina thought. It wasn't her business but she was curious.

The blonde sighed. "Cut him some slack. Not all of us are good at arguing."

He rolled his eyes. "You think I am?"

"You could have been a lawyer."

That cheeky woman.

"No thanks. Too much talking."

"How else are you going to unleash that pent up frustration?" She wiggled her eyebrows.

"My pent up frustration suddenly concerns you?" He asked her in amusement.

The way he drank from her lips told her yes.

"You're coming with me to the mansion, aren't you? Like previously agreed? That offer still stands. Just in case you forgot." She reminded in a smooth sultry hum, careful not to lay it on thick.

Nina didn't answer his question but asked another and a completely unrelated one at that. Unless there was some correlation and he missed it. Somehow, Jin got the feeling that this woman was hinting at something else. He watched her cautiously as the feel of excitement grew within. His pants were starting to feel a lot tighter these days. Especially when he was around her.

"Of course, I have to be where you are. You're my bodyguard." Jin replied stoically.

There was a twinkle in her eyes. "You know sex is another way of unleashing all that excess energy you have stored up inside you."

The same could also be said for her.

The hunger in his breath-taking brown eyes didn't go unnoticed.

Nina leaned close and whispered against his lips. "I trust you, Jin. The most."

His heart raced once more as she planted a kiss on him.

She smirked and turned around as she made her way to the door. Nina let her hips sway slightly, making sure he had something to look at, a teaser for what was going to happen at the mansion. She's made up her mind now. He had to make up his.

Nina really wasn't much of a seductive type but Jin somehow managed to make a siren out of her.

And she was enjoying it.

A/N: Oh you two. Lock the doors and get it on already.
