"Come on, Guy, we're going to be late!" said Kelly to her twin brother as the school bell rang. Guy wasn't trying to be slow; it was the recent events had him lost his thought. "Remember, you don't have super speed unless you're in your skirt." Kelly whispered. This snapped Guy back to the present. He needed to focus on the school routine, plus avoiding Jack's mockeries. Though he had Maz, who would be there for him, if not to help at least share in the suffering. Maybe Kelly could come out on time and she would be a deterrent to Jack...
Sometime later lunch, at the recess, Guy was looking for Maz. He wanted to let his friend in on the secret of him being a superhero. Though he was unsure if he wanted to tell him it requires him to wear pink.
"Hey, Maz, I got to tell you something." said Guy when he saw his friend and approached him. It wasn't too loud, but loud enough for Kelly to hear him and get worried. She proceeded to approach her brother and a tall boy. She have seen him with Guy before and thought he's kind of cute, but what she was worried about for now is her brother opening his big mouth.
"Guy, would you like to introduce me to your friend here?" she said butting in the conversation. Guy glared at her and she glared back.
"Don't worry, I know who you are." Maz said with a smile. "You're Kelly, Guy's cute- eh, I mean, smart sister..." Kelly got a confused look on her face while Maz blushed. "So, dude, what did you want to tell me?"
"Yeah, Guy, what did you want to tell Maz? I hope you're not going to share any family secrets. Some of them can be rather embarrassing, especially when they hear a whole thing." Kelly grinned at her brother. He knew that if he said anything about being a superhero, she would bring out the skirt and make-up.
"Uh, never mind Maz, maybe I tell you later, when we're not being bothered by Miss I-Butt-In-At-The-Wrong-Time." Guy looked to Kelly to make some comeback, but it never came. Mostly because the bell rang and it was time for another class.
The homeroom teacher, Mr. Merzanovich, oversaw the classroom, and nobody acted out, even Jack. He was no-nonsense teacher, who treated everyone fairly and made everyone toe the line. Though it was mostly unclear what he's thinking, as his expression was plain almost all the time...
"Hamdon, is anything wrong?" he said. Kelly perked up.
"Nothing, sir." she answered.
"Not you, your brother. He looks like he's worried of something." Kelly turned to guy's seat to see him nervously looking around.
"The She-Sense is tingling, something's coming." he whispered. Before Kelly could say anything to the teacher, the window exploded. Several thugs jumped in and raised their high-tech looking weapons. Guy and Kelly recognized the weapons. They had the same style as the weapons at the bank robbery.
"Everybody down! No moving!" one of the thugs shouted.
"Excuze me..." said Mr. Merzanovich, adjusting his glasses. "I'm not letting anyone harming my students! Kids, flee!" the teacher tried to fight, but was quickly knocked out by the hit of the rifle butt.
The thugs spread over the class, blocking doors and windows, except the one window they came in through. Then, the man in strange clothes walked in. He was wearing orange-brown boots and blue jeans. His hands were covered in fingerless gloves and bandages that were going up his forearms. He has an orange vest trimmed with yellow, with black lines on the sides and a "T" letter in the circle on his left pectoral. This vest covered the charcoal-grey t-shirt. He had a grubby bread and a bowl cut of greyish black hair and he had brown eyes. He looked around the room with an evil smirk.
"Looks like I got your attention now." he said. "My name is Terra-rist, and if anyone has a problem with my name..." he nodded to the thugs and some of them pointed their guns at the kids. "Don't worry, neither me nor my guys will kill you, without a real reason. I'm here because some goody two-shoes pink broad messed up with my boys at the bank. Now, if she's the one to stop the bank robbery, I am sure she will come when a bunch of little brats thar are held hostage. Let us wait..."
Guy and Kelly exchanged worried looks at this statement. How was SheZow going to show up when Guy is stuck with everyone? But then, Guy got an idea...
"I'm sorry, sir..." he said, standing up. "I need to go to the bathroom." to add, he started doing pee-pee dance.
"Oh my, I can just die of embarrassment..." thought Kelly.
"Me too, sir." said Maz, doing the same thing as Guy. Terra-rist sighed and rubbed his forehead, then turned to the bandits.
"Mic, take these two to the bathroom. Don't let them get away. And when they're done, hurry back. I need full force when this broad shows up..."
"Yes, boss." replied Mic and pointed the weapon on the boys. "Move it, brats!"
In the hall, Guy quickly looked around and then turned to Maz.
"Why are you coming with me, dude?" he asked.
"I can't let you get into trouble alone, pal. Whatever you're planning, I'm with you." Maz answered.
"Quit talking and move faster! Boss is waiting!" the bandit grumbled.
"Okay, now..." thought Guy as they were getting further from the classroom.
"Maz, run!" Guy said and grabbed his friend.
"Stop, you little bastards!" shouted the thug. Guy noticed the janitor cart and pushed it, making the soapy water to spill over the floor. The bandit slipped and fell, swearing.
"Now we must hide!" Guy said and then noticed a door to the janitor closet nearby. "There!" the boys entered the room and shut the door quietly. The bandit stood up and started looking around for them.
"Where are you, brats?" he said irritated. Meanwhile, the boys stood silent and still. It was uncomfortable, as the closet was filled with mops and buckets, making very little of free space.
"Is that all of your plan, Guy?" Maz asked quietly.
"Actually, no." Guy answered. "I wanted to tell you this but now I'm gonna have to show it. You go girl!" the pink flash came out and then Maz saw his friend in a girly superhero suit.
"WHA-" Maz was about to shout, but Guy covered his mouth with his gloved hand.
"Shhh, quiet." Guy whispered. "This is the secret I was going to tell you at the recess. I am SheZow, the superhero that those guys want. And I have the plan how to stop them. But I need your help."
"I'm ready to do anything. What do you need?" asked Maz.
"First - you have to distract this guy outside so I can get behind him out without much noise." answered Guy. "Then, when I get the thugs and their leader busy, you and Kelly must lead the others to the safe place. I don't want anyone to get hurt. That's my duty after all..."
"Understood." said Maz and got out from the closet.
"There you are, brat!" the thug noticed Maz as he left the closet and bolted to him. The boy tried to run away, but the bandit quickly caught him and held tightly. "You cannot run now. Neither you nor your friend can fool me. By the way, where is your friend? Answer, or I'll shoot you right here!"
"It's no good in killing the innocent kids, darling!" the thug turned around and saw SheZow bursting out from the closet. He was about to attack, but superheroine approached him and knocked out with a kick.
"Awesome, dude- er, dudette!" exclaimed Maz.
"No time for gloating, pal." said Guy. "We must go to the class. I deal with the bad guys and you help the others to get away."
"Even Jack?" whined Maz.
"Yes, even Jack." SheZow rebuffed.
"Okay, understood. I think I can get used to be a superhero's sidekick." said Maz and both of them rushed to the classroom.
"I hope there's something in my belt that can help..." thought Guy. He pulled out a weird pink and black jar with SheZow's insignia.
"Sticky Cream?" Guy noticed the sticker on it. "I wonder what it does?" he stopped and opened the jar to see some white cream. He poured a hand in, then started rubbing the cream in his palms and fingertips. Then he put his palms together and then back - the palms were sticking to each other.
"Hm, what if I..." Guy put his hand on the wall and felt it stuck there. "Yes." he then turned to Maz. "Maz, listen here. It's what you have to do now..." Guy started whispering his plan and Maz listened closely.
Maz entered the classroom and headed to his seat.
"Hey, where's the other guy?" asked Terra-rist.
"Um, he tried to run away." Maz answered. "Your man chased him down. I don't know if he caught my friend or not." the gang leader growled.
"He better hurry..." as he said it, Maz turned to Kelly and winked. She immediately understood everything.
"Oh, that brother of mine..." she thought. Suddenly, a noise came from the hall. Everybody in the classroom perked up.
"What was it?" Terra-rist said. "Guys, go out and look!" some of the goons entered the hall, only to be tied by the ribbons and dragged away.
"What's taking you so long?" Terra-rist growled, but nobody responded. He himself headed to the door and looked in the hall, only to be kicked in the face. He fell back, while SheZow swung through the doorway.
"It's her! Fire!" the remaining bandits started preparing their weapons.
"Everybody, down!" yelled SheZow, and every kid in the room obeyed. The thugs started shooting, but SheZow successfully avoided the shots and threw her boomerang brushes. They hit the weapons out of bandits' hands. SheZow quickly ran in and took each of them down.
"Kids, you must go out." SheZow said to the students. "Take your teacher with you." the kids got up and approached Mr. Merzanovich. SheZow turned to the villain, who was about to get up.
"Oh no, sweetie, you're not doing this!" SheZow bolted to him. Suddenly, something made her trip and she fell. The villain got up and came closer.
"I've been waiting for you..." he said devilishly. "You messed with my boys, thus ruined my plans. Nobody who messes up my plans gets away without a punishment." he was about to grab the heroine, but she jumped up, kicking him in the process.
"You say so?" SheZow said. "And you messed up the day at this school and threatened the kids' lives! Nobody who threatens the peace in my city get away without a punishment."
"How brave." Terra-rist smirked. "Enough talking. Let's end this!" he rushed towards SheZow with clenched fist, but the heroine sidestepped, avoiding the hit. Then she grabbed his outstretched arm and threw him to the side - directly in the broken window. She gasped in horror - she wasn't intended to kill him... But suddenly, he stopped in front of the window. His dark brown eyes were now glowing yellow.
"You're pretty strong, girl..." he said as he turned to face SheZow. "But I'm stronger! I'm not calling myself TERRA-rist for nothing!" he waved his arms and a bunch of rocks appeared behind him. He then thrusted his arms towards SheZow and the rocks bolted there like bullets through the glass. The heroine pulled out her Laser Lipstick and sliced through almost every piece of the ground. Terrar-ist laugh at SheZow giving the time she needed. She landed a kick on him sending him and her out the window. To prevent herself from falling, she held on the edeg of the hole.
"He controls the earth!" she thought. "So that's what those thugs meant when they said about working for a meta-human. He is that meta-human!"
The meta-human stopped in the air, floating.
"Stupid broad, there's no use of dodging or beating through my attacks!" Terra-rist shouted. "I have the power over the earth! And it surrounds me everywhere! I'll never be out of ammo. But you'll be out of energy very soon..." he prepared another rock wave and attacked. SheZow jumped on one of them and then on another, until she got close to the villain. But before she could do anything, another rock appeared right in front of her. This rock hit SheZow and she fell on the ground.
"Prepare for your demise." said Terra-rist maniacally and put his hands up. The ground started shaking and shown cracks. The boulders mixed with dirt started rising up from the ground, leaving a craters. They were rising above, merging into one huge boulder. Down on the ground, SheZow just regained consciousness.
"What should I do? He seems too strong..." she thought. Then she looked at her palms, then on the ground around her and got an idea.
The boulder in the sky became huge, almost the size of the whole house.
"Die, heroine!" Terra-rist shouted.
"In your dreams, sweetie!" the girly voice said. The villain looked around to see SheZow holding onto one of the boulders rising in the sky to merge with the others. When the boulder got enough high, heroine let go off it and fell right onto the villain, delivering a powerful punch in his face and then taping him with her ribbons. To save herself from falling boulder, she shot the ribbon onto the roof of the school and swung there. The huge boulder fell on the ground. The ground started shaking, the dust rose in the air and all the windows in the school was shattered into pieces by the impact wave.
"Whew, that was not as easy as I first thought..." said SheZow, getting down on the ground by sticking her hands to the walls and holding the unconscious villain. When she got down, she noticed the kids from the school and the teachers staring at the scene. There were Maz, Kelly, Mr. Merzanovich and the others among them.
"I thought I told them to go away to the safe place, not to stay here." thought SheZow. She then heard a sound of the sirens, turned around and saw Guy and Kelly's dad, Boxter Hamdon, stepping out of the cruiser.
"Greetigs, officer!" she said, giving him a salute gesture. "With pleasure, I'm handling you all the bandits I stopped. This one on the ground is their mastermind, and is the one behind the recent bank robbery." when saying this, Guy hoped that the fake girl voice would fool his dad.
"Stow it, you pink menace. I'm putting you under arrest with all of these buffoons along!" said Boxter angrily as SheZow was confused. "You caused a mess at the bank and now you put the school kids in danger! My children attend this school. If I wasn't the man of the law, I would take you out back and teach you what justice is all about!" the officer didn't realize he was yelling at his own son right now. But Kelly did.
"Watch out, there are more of them!" she shouted, pointing somewhere at the school building. Just when Boxter looked away, SheZow shot her ribbon and swung up the roof. But she didn't run away - she got down at the other side of the building instead and hid in the bushes.
"She-yeah!" she said, turning back to civilian from. He then quickly got to his class.
"Hey Guy, you missed the whole thing!" said Kelly to him. "SheZow saved us all!"
"Yeah, I saw her jumping on the roofs." he replied. This was said for the purpose of Mr. Merzanovich, who was trying to get some order in the class.
Later that day Maz got the okay and Guy too, and Maz came over to Hamdons' place. They said they need to work up for the ruined lesson, but actually Guy wanted to show Maz the SheLair. When they got there, Maz was staring around in awe.
"Woah, the real superhero secret lair. Awesome..."
"You can say it again." Guy smiled.
"A-khem!" they heard the familiar voice and the well-known pink lips appeared on the huge screen. "Mind explaining me what's going on? And why is a stranger here?"
"Oh, yeah, Sheila..." said Guy, rubbing the back of his head. "It's Maz, my good friend."
"Good to hear that you got friends, but what is he doing HERE?" the disappointment in Sheila's voice was more than obvious.
"I tried to tell him not to say, but he did it anyway!" shouted Kelly.
"But it's unfair! If my sister knows my secret, why don't let in my best friend?" said Guy. "And by the way, I had no options there. We were hiding in a tight janitor closet, so..."
"Excuse me, but what is going on here?" asked Maz, looking at Guy and Kelly and then at Sheila.
"Sorry I didn't tell my name to you, young man." said Sheila. "My name is Sheila, and I am SheZow's super supercomputer and best helper."
"Very nice to know you, Superness" said Maz, and then whispered. "Wow, a real superhero supercomputer..."
"Hehe, he has manners and taste." Sheila smiled. "I think we'll keep him."
"Yes!" Guy said and gave Maz a high five.
"But we, young lady, are going to have a very long talk about keeping your secrets." said Sheila to Guy.
"No!" he exclaimed
Maz giggled: "Pff, she said "young lady"..."
For almost two hours, Maz and Kelly couldn't help themselves but laugh as Guy was trying to avoid the mechanical hand that kept waving its finger in his face while Sheila was lecturing him.
