This chapter was initially meant to focus solely on everything on the battlefield, but due to the complexity in writing everything I will be splitting it into 3 different chapters each focusing on different locations around the battlefield.
The first which is this would focus on The Sannins
The second will be centered on the Tailed beasts
The third will be about those trapped within the Barrier

"I'm just asking but is there someone that we should be worried about" Satori questioned looking as if he was contemplating something
Mwahhahahahah
Kurama suddenly burst out laughing loudly with his hands across his stomach as if trying to contain his laughter. Going silent both Naruto and Satori went silent as they stared at the laughing fox in confusion
"Don't tell me you're scared about some fleshbags" Kurama said making fun of his fellow demon while calming himself
"Hmm this coming from someone who was manipulated and sealed by the same fleshbags he speaks of, now I'm really certain I need every information possible " Satori replied absentmindedly before he briefly glancing at Naruto who seemed to be doing his best to hold in his laughter.

"How dare you!" Kurama yelled getting up to pounce on Satori
"Enough!!" Yelled Naruto causing Kurama to sit back while grumbling. They all knew that they had issues with each other, even Satori was willing to work with Naruto considering what he would benefit . But Kurama in the other hand although agreeing to side with Naruto wasn't doing his best to set his personal feelings away which was making Naruto unhappy , seems like even Satori too was getting tired of dealing with him
"Honestly I was waiting to hear someone ask that question , remember Kurama a cautious person is always the one that survives the longest , so don't just think because your a bijuu there's no one capable of beating or worse sealing you"
Hearing Naruto's statement Kurama went silent as he turned his gaze to the floor while in thought. As much as he wanted to feel angry about the statements there was no denying it, Naruto and Satori were right
'He's right, if there's anything I should have learnt in my years it's not the underrate my opponent' Kurama thought having briefly flashbacks of his encounter with humans

"Now then, I believe amongst the people we are likely to encounter on the battlefield, only two could prove to be a real threat" Naruto said with a serious gaze while staring at the swaying grass below him
"Two?" Replied Kurama In confusion. This was a war with five nations, why would Naruto separate just two out of everyone else present
"Jiraiya and Sasuke" Naruto simply answered as if it was very easy

"Isn't Jiraiya one of the Sannin's alongside Tsunade and Orochimaru " Sato said. Since the merge with Naruto they had also gotten a good view of all his memories along with more things, this was pretty helpful and educational for them on seeing how shinobi jutsu mechanics works along with human interaction
"Yes he is , but Why him out of all the Sannins " Kurama said looking at their leader in confusion
"Why don't we start with the others first. Tsunade isn't really much, she has good enhanced physical strength far better than that a normal person should have, the best healing abilities I've seen or heard which although not as good as ours, it does the necessary works both for herself and others. Not to be rude but I honestly think most of her hype is also due to the fact that she's a senju"
"Orochimaru although he went through sage training didn't complete it from what I heard. He's also acquired numerous jutsu's even some forbidden ones that could be really troublesome to deal with , on the bright side we wont have to worry about him interfering since he's already dead"
"Now regarding Jiraiya, you see he is the only one amongst them all who is actually considered a Sage. He went through the complete training process and can utilize sage mode properly in combat , I'm not exactly sure what the sage mode is capable of but from what he explained, the user of sage mode has improvement which basically amplifies all stats. So by any chance you do encounter him Sato, don't just rely on your fear detection senses"
"Why Sasuke is on the list is pretty obvious " Naruto said looking at Kurama with a knowing look
Currently with Satori and the Sannins
* Poof *
"Jirai-" The confused toad was rudely interrupted from continuing his statement as he immediately leaped out from the cloud of smoke
Jiraiya had to brace himself as his partner was suddenly tossed away from its previous location. Applying chakra to his feet he held firmly to his partner who landed a good distance. Wasting no time once he got a proper footing, Jiraiya scanned around hoping to find traces of the enemy who had somehow found his way into the smoke, sadly nothing stuck.
'What the hell is going on' Jiraiya thought staring into the cloud of smoke as he heard numerous grunts followed by Tsunade and Orochimaru who jumped out each on their summonings.

"Something is in there" Tsunade said in an annoyed tone making Jiraiya frown.
...
Waiting patiently for the smoke to disperse, each person feeling tense in anticipation of what was going to happen next. Honestly deep down they all felt that the smart thing to do would have been to spray the cloud of smoke with Justu's hoping that one would at least hit the enemy. But since they had no idea what or even who they were against it was best to wait, also adding the fact that recklessly attacking would consume quite a lot of chakra and stamina.
Surveying the environment Orochimaru was quick to notice that out of all the enemies present, the man with the scar was no longer at his previous position, in fact the man was nowhere to be seen .
'Could it be?'
Suddenly multiple huge fireballs shot out of the cloud of smoke heading towards their location. Eyes widening the surprise they all had to separate in an attempt to evade getting hit by the attack.
Boom
Boom
Just as the fireballs struck large black clawed hands erupted from the smoke as the full form of the creature became visible to them all.
Blocking their path stood, Satori the demon of legends, the guardian of the box of bliss. Something that most of them thought was killed by Naruto.
"H-how is-"

Tsunade who was about to speak went silent once she heard the loud roar echoing from the distance, followed by numerous sounds of explosions going on.
...
"J-jiraiya what exactly is going on? Why is Satori the guardian of the box of bliss and why are the bijuu's here?" Gamabunta questioned while sweating slightly.
"I too wish to understand what is going on" Said Katsuya, a blue and white slug on which Tsunade stood on top.
*sigh*
"Naruto"
Ignoring the questioning look from the toad Jiraiya continued speaking "He somehow is alive...and now it seems he wants revenge on the villages for what they did to him and the destruction of Uzu"
"So..." the frog said hoping to get a more detailed answer
"We don't know why or even how he is controlling them at all, he just is somehow able to" Jiraiya said while frowning in disappointment
"I see" the frog said 'so this is what the elder spoke about...he didn't mention a thing about Naruto though '
*sigh*
Still the toad couldn't help but feel a bit annoyed with the current situation. He had as much faith in the capabilities of his partners as they had of him, but lately it seemed like his partners were pushing the limit too far, with the forth having him fight the nine tails, Naruto having him fight the one tails and now this, a legendary demon.
From the looks of it even with their greater number it still is going to be difficult winning this and by some weird luck if they happened to win they still would have to fight the tailed beasts.
"Orochimaru sama it's a pleasure to be of aid to you" The gray snake named kyo said while bowing its head slightly showing respect towards its Summoner.
"Hmmm...what happened to Manda?" Orochimaru questioned in a tone that held a bit of interest while still keeping his gaze on the enemy who stood idly watching them.

"He was killed during a battle with Uchiha Sasuke" the snake said with a hint of fear. It was a known fact that Manda was the personal summoning of orochimaru, the snake feared that hearing the news would anger its summoner
"Interesting " replied Orochimaru calmly as if he wasn't bothered about the news

A few minutes later

Tension filled the air as both parties stayed prepared staring intensely at each other.
"You really intend on going against us"

"We will do whatever it takes to stop you and Naruto from succeeding" Tsunade said seriously while staring at the demon with anger, to her this monster was the reason Naruto died and also the reason he was doing all this.
"I see"
"Tell me can you imagine what it's like in the box?" Satori said watching them all go silent
"Having been stuck in there for years , every emotion I once felt became vague, Fear was the only thing I felt. Until I met Naruto..."

"He gave back all I lost and more...I will repay his good deed" Satori said in a serious voice as he clenched his fists shut.
...
...
"We'll hold him, you two come up with a good plan" Jiraiya ordered through the mental link despite knowing that there was little he could do in his current state.
"Suiton teppo Dana (Water Element bullet)" said Gamabunta as he puked out water projectiles forcing Satori to avoid the attacks
Tossing his right arm towards the toad numerous feather projectiles spawned crashing into the toads location as it leaped away.
Immediately he landed Gamabunta pulled out his sword parrying the onslaught of more feather projectiles .
"Here we go Jiraiya!" Gambunta yelled as he leaped towards the beast to get a closer range.
Seeing how Satori Narrowly dodged the attack Gamabunta continued his slashing throwing in more random swipes into his combo, but it wasn't effective since non of them even connected with the said target.

Staying in the air Satori opted to tossing more feathers at the toad as it tried desperately to avoid getting stabbed.
Few minutes later
"There is no way we can beat that thing without any planning" Gamabunta said staring at the idle demon with a calculated gaze
'Its a good thing he's focused on us, the others should have enough data to come up with a good plan' Jiraiya thought briefly glancing at Tsunade which was a big mistake

As if reading Jiraiya's mind, Satori moved quickly, appearing right in front of Orochimaru's summoning, rotating on its heels Satori used the back of its right palm to swat the head of the snake with so much force the snake was tossed roughly off its position and in the process tossing orochimaru far away. It happed so fast that no one could react perfectly.
Cutting its rotation short, the tails of Satori shot off like snakes heading towards Katsuya forcing her to crumble into a mass of mini slugs which seemed like the only logical thing to do considering how sluggish she moves.
"Hang on Tsunade hime" Katsuya adviced her summoner
Seeing this Satori frowned, then he instantly jumped high into the sky just as the blade of Gamabunta came crashing into its previous location.
"Gamabunta now!!" Jiraiya yelled making the toad toss him towards the airborne monster. Having gone a good distance high Jiraiya instantly started materializing a rasengan with the hopes of hitting the enemy
Noticing the approaching Jiraiya, Satori calmly dodged just as Tsunade too came flying somehow expecting to catch him off guard.
Seeing that their attacks failed Gamabunta puked out more water projectiles forcing the monster to constantly evade before it landed again
Immediately Satori landed The summoning of Orochimaru burst from the floor wrapping itself around him as it struggled to restrict the monsters movement.
Growling in anger Satori wiggled around trying to free himself once he saw the toad quickly advancing.
...
'Thank kami Katsuya made it in time, a second late I and Tsunade hime would have been goners' Jiraiya thought sighing mentally in relief
'Where the hell is that bastard' thought Tsunade who had just realized that their other teammate was no where to be found.
'Don't tell me he abandoned us'
"Tsunade, we have to act now while it's restrained" Jiraiya said before briefly looking at the now completely clouded sky which for some reason now had sparks of lightning briefly illuminating various areas, from the looks of things it could begin raining anytime.
Briefly glancing at Jiraiya, Tsunade could see that he was unbothered by the possibility that their teammate could have abandoned them .
"Let's go" Tsunade shouted making the Two katsuya advance towards the monster

"That all you got" Gamabunta shouted getting a bit frustrated with how the demon still seemed to avoid getting hit by any of his attacks even with most of its limbs constricted . Having the snake restrain the monster seemed like a good idea earlier, but now the monster was acting on their error as sometimes he would move to a position where the attack could connect with the snake, this would instantly force the toad to change its tactics.
"Hahah I'm just getting started" Satori said darkly as immediately black spikes came off his body stabbing into the snake making it yell in agony before poofing away.
Acting quickly Satori lifted its left arm just as the sword struck. The eyes of Gamabunta widened in surprise as he watched his sword snap into two, with the other half flying a good distance away. Before the toad could react Satori's other hand made contact with a well placed powerful uppercut to the jaw of the toad which instantly lifted it off the floor.
Grabbing the ankle of the midair toad, Satori swung it around while rotating towards Jiraiya and Tsunade who were forced to dodge.

'Shit' Tsunade cursed in pain while looking around for any signs of her partner.
"Jiraiya! Jiraiya!!"
Getting nothing but silence Tsunade shakily attempted to get up despite all the pain she was feeling from their crash.
...
...
Boom
A huge portion of dust kicked up from the effect of Satori in all his glory landing right in front of her.
Tsunade coughed out lightly before staring at the demon who seemed to be a lot interested in watching her struggle
'Heh...So this is it' Tsunade thought sadly staring into the heavens as drops of rain landed on her broken form.
"The boss would be disappointed if I went all out just to destroy a bunch of humans" Satori said calmly while his body crumbled into a mass of black smoke reverting him back to his human form.

Walking towards the injured woman, Satori lifted her by her throat, staring into her eyes he smiled
"Don't tell me you really thought you could win"
A while back with Jiraiya
After constant attempts to get a proper bearing , he was successful but then it dawned on him that he still had a hard task of searching for his teammate with his current condition.
"Tsunade! , Orochimaru! " Jiraiya Shouted loudly while limping around
Staring at the location the monster seemed to be looking at, Jiraiya instantly realized that it was probably focusing on one of his teammates since they were the only ones to travel this far .
"Shit..I have to get there quickly " he muttered moving towards the location.

...
Having traveled a good distance towards his destination, Jiraiya came across their other teammate who he thought had fled
"Orochimaru , you're still here?" Jiraiya said staring at the broken form of his teammate in anger.
...
"Obviously" Orochimaru said pretending not to notice the gaze of Jiraiya on him.
"I'm sure you have noticed how he seems to evade all attacks with ease, even when it's not in his field of sight "
"It's almost like he can predict it, just before it strikes"
"That's impossible " Jiraiya said staring at the demon while clenching his fists making everyone go silent

"However it may be, you might have to go all out to win this" Orochimaru said calmly breaking the awkward moment
"And what about you?" Jiraiya questioned with a raised brow
"Hahaha sorry but that's not possible at the moment " Orochimaru said not doing a good job at hiding his annoyance.
'I see... there's probably a problem with his current body, it's more likely not 100 percent compatible with him. That could be why he's injury hasn't healed a lot by now' Jiraiya thought feeling a bit of happiness knowing that if Orochimaru betrayed them it would be easy to deal with him
...
"I will occupy the demon you prepare a good counter attack, don't waste this opportunity" Orochimaru said not waiting for an answer as he immediately sank into the sand heading towards Tsunade's location.
Current time Back with Tsunade

Suddenly something long shot out of the floor wrapping around the neck of Satori as it attempted to do the same thing he was already doing to Tsunade
Using his free hand to grip the unidentified thing, Satori growled in anger once feeling the slime coated body. Trying to release the hold on his throat, Satori moved his attention away from Tsunade, this was very bad since she immediately acted on the opening.
Feeling the wind nearing him from her punch, Satori tossed Tsunade away from himself before moving his other hand to pull the source of the tentacle like thing
Out of the floor came Orochimaru, his eyes wide in surprise already seeing the punch he was going to slam into.
Boom
The force of the punch was a lot to take in as it flung orochimaru back, pulling on the tongue again the form of orochimaru headed again into another punch. This was going on for a while with Tsunade staring wide eyes as Orochimaru was beaten like a kid.
Orochimaru knew this outcome was unavoidable, the body he now inhabited was completely trash, he hadn't even done his ritual on the body to at least improve its stats a bit, sadly he was stuck in a default character with beyond average skills and there was nothing he could do about it.
...
Having grown tired of receiving punches, orochimaru summarized that he had stalled enough, he needed to get fixed. The rest was for Jiraiya and the others to handle and if they failed , well that wasn't any of his concern .
'Damn it ' Orochimaru thought as he was forced to cut his very tongue off with a kunai. Changing his trajectory, Orochimaru crashed into the floor, sinking as he fled to a safer distance .

...
Raising his eyebrows in confusion, Satori switched his gaze from the elongated tongue in the floor to Tsunade who was now fully healed.
"Well, that was weird" Satori said with a hint of humor in his voice as he stalked towards the battered kage

"Rasengan"
A voice said just before the orb of chakra slammed into the back of Satori which instantly moved him towards Tsunade.
Acting quick Tsunade launched a good uppercut on the approaching body as he was lifted off the floor
Seeing this Jiraiya went through handseal then said " Ranshishigami no jutsu (Raging lion's mane technique)" suddenly his hair extended into a snake like thing bit into the body of Satori, Jiraiya twirling his neck caused his hair to rotate as it roughly scrubbed Satori into the earth before flinging him away
Crashing roughly Satori attempted to get his bearing, but sadly it was too late as Tsunade was already upon him, landing hard punches on his frame.
'What is happening 'Satori though I'm confusion, while attempting to block her punches.

Catching the approaching fist of Tsunade, Satori snapped her wrist but rather than hearing her shout, she gave a confident smile which confused Satori
"Now"
Hearing a new voice, Satori instantly knew he had fallen for their trap. Within seconds a dense line of water tore through Tsunade making her disperse in a cloud of smoke exposing that she had somehow replaced herself with a clone.

"Uggggh" groaned satori feeling the pressure of the jutsu pierce through him from his right shoulder down to his left leg, instantly splitting him into two. Eyes widening in surprise Satori collapsed.

Tsunade feeling the drain in stamina instantly dropped on her feet while calming her breath , now that they were sure they had taken care of Satori she could rest a bit.
"Tsunade hime" Jiraiya said moving towards her.
"Wait" the male toad on his shoulder shouted in alarm forcing Jiraiya to halt, even Tsunade turned to stare at the body of the enemy in confusion.
Before their eyes tendons arose from the frame of Satori merging with the other half it began stitching him while the blood crawled back into his body.
'I-impossible! How is he still alive' everyone thought in confusion while watching Satori repair himself.

"Don't give him time to fully regenerate " The male toad said in urgency
"Hai" replied Jiraiya and the female toad as realization dawned on them. Immediately seeing Jiraiya inhale a large portion of air Tsunade Shun-shin'd to a safe location getting herself out of the jutsu range.
"Senpou: Gorman! (Sage Art: Boiling Oil Bath)" Jiraiya said spitting out a large volume of oil with the female spitting out fire and the male blowing wind to amplify the jutsu .
Seeing the approaching burning oil, Satori weakly palmed his hand on the floor as his body was pushed away from the attack.
Immediately his feet touched the floor Satori quickly breezed through handseals then slammed the floor
"Doton Doryuu Jouheki (Earth element,Earth Rampart)" He said as a huge portion of the floor below him arose elevating him from the now oil covered floor.
"Katon Goukakyuu no jutsu! (Fire Element blazing Fireball)" Satori said loudly puking a mass of fire at Jiraiya's location.

Dodging the attack Jiraiya instantly blurred away as he immediately appeared in-front of Satori. Widening his eyes in surprise Satori realized that it was too late to block the attack as he was immediately struck by the invisible palm strike flinging him off the elevated floor.
"W-What" Satori thought as his tumbling form finally came to a halt. Rotating his body quickly Satori avoided the rasengan as it struck the floor causing a crack.
Flipping himself, Satori kicked at the head of Jiraiya causing the female toad to spit out its tongue as it wrapped around his leg. Swerving her head the toad tossed Satori away.
'Is this what leader sama spoke about' Satori thought sweating slightly while doing his best to dodge all Jiraiya's quick attacks without getting struck
Flying a huge distance from receiving another one of the palm strike, Satori planted his feet into the floor leaving a trail on the stony floor as the water from the floor splashed
Sliding to a halt Satori calmed his breath. 'It seems he can't use that attack for constantly ' Satori thought removing his hand from his mid chest to wipe the trail of blood from his lip.

"Jiraiya there's something absolutely wrong here" The male frog said looking up at the sky, causing everyone to move their focus from the enemy as the rain immediately began pouring down massively
