Chapter 100
Viola and Julie sat stunned in the corner of the waiting room. Their emotions ran from disbelief, to anger, to hopeful. They couldn't believe what their mother was saying to them. Their father stood beside Grace, but he didn't say anything. They have never seen him so defeated. When Grace was done telling them everything that happened between Elizabeth, Jack, and their father, the sisters sat silently. After a few minutes of digesting the information, they looked at each other in disbelief.
They wanted to throw something, they wanted to yell, and they wanted to hug their father all at once. They couldn't believe he would treat Jack that way. Their father was a kind man who loved his daughters with everything in him, even if their relationship was strained at times. They also noticed their father's body posture and knew he was broken.
Viola finally broke the silence with a question. "Father, is that how you felt toward me over the last few years?"
"Me too when I was a teenager making dumb decisions?" Asked Julie.
Grace turned her head to look at her husband. He shifted uncomfortably from one foot to the other. He took a deep breath and struggled to make eye contact with his two daughters.
"At times, yes. I was being very stupid and full of myself. I thought I did everything perfectly and wouldn't listen to your mother or anyone else when they tried to correct me. I was a fool. I am sorry and I promise I will change my attitude and mind set."
He broke eye contact when he finished speaking. He just couldn't bring himself to look at them.
"Your father told Elizabeth this morning that an apology without change is manipulation. He has promised to change. I ask that you give him that chance."
Both sisters looked at each other and then turned their attention to their father. Julie was the first one to speak.
"I'm shocked how you would treat Jack with how you have been toward Tom. If you would have taken the time to get to know Jack, you would notice how perfect he is for my sister."
William nodded.
"I must have been a huge disappointment to you." Whispered Julie.
"No, Julie. I haven't always liked your decisions, but you were never a disappointment to me. Now look at the decisions you are making for yourself. You married a good man, and you are going back to college."
"I know I have been a disappointment to you then." Stated a determined Viola. "The only thing Elizabeth did was not listen to you. I ran off and married without telling you about it."
"No…girls…no." William sighed shaking his head from side to side. "Viola…Julie, you two haven't always made the best decisions, but this isn't about you. It's about me and me only. I was so prideful that I didn't allow you two to come to me. I failed you as a father and I failed Grace as a husband. This is all about me, not you three or Elizabeth."
William could see that his two daughters were thinking this through. He wanted to rebuild their trust and love but knew this wasn't done in a conversation in a waiting room on the fifth floor of a hospital. He was just hoping this was the start of rebuilding his family.
Viola stood along with Julie. Both young ladies took a deep breath.
"If Elizabeth is willing to give you an opportunity, then I think we should too. We haven't been perfect, and you still loved us through our mistakes. We will love you through your mistake as long as you are working on correcting them."
"Just like you two are fixing your mistakes, I am willing to change as well. I just ask for an opportunity to make this right over time."
"Let's work on this together then." Stated Julie.
Both sisters slowly walked toward their father and gave him a hug. Everyone had tears in their eyes.
"Is this why Jack as been avoiding you and calling you Mr. Thatcher?"
"Yes, Vi. I am not sure if I can ever repair the distance I created with him, but I am going to try no matter what."
Viola and Julie nodded their heads. They knew this will be a mountain of a task. Jack loved Elizabeth and they knew this was going to be a difficult issue for Jack to overcome.
…
"Ok mere chaude…are you ready to leave this fine hospital room?"
She paused and looked at her husband while tilting her head.
"What?" He asked.
"That's the first time you called me hot momma since I have been here."
"Really? I didn't notice. What did I say?"
"Bella, Nani, and Belle."
"Well, you are beautiful."
"Thank you." Elizabeth stated with a little smile.
Jack walked up to her and place his hands on her hips. He pulled her close and stared into her eyes. "I love you, mere chaude."
"I love you, Bumblebee."
Jack rolled his eyes. "I thought you forgot about that."
"Never!" Sassed Elizabeth while her eyes sparkled at him. She was really feeling better. She was just a little tired.
Both Jack and Elizabeth needed this little bit of joking between each other. They have missed it over the past couple of days. It also pushed the remaining tension of the past day away and made them feel more normal.
…
"Charlie, what are you wanting to do?" Adam asked as he sat down beside his wife.
"I'm not sure. I would like to stay at least for tonight to make sure everything is fine."
"We can do that. We could get a hotel room and head back tomorrow. I'll need to call John and see what the plans are about the plane and all."
"I would like to go back with Elizabeth and Jack, but I'm sure they would like to have that time together. I want to be there for them, but I don't want to overstep."
"Why don't we talk with them tonight or tomorrow and get a sense of what they want. We can offer and then let them decide what they would like for us to do."
"Wow!"
Adam gave her a confused look.
"I married a very smart man."
"Don't you know it!" Exclaimed a smiling Adam.
…
"What's the plan, V?"
"I'm not sure, James. I think we need to decide that later today."
"Yeah, you need to talk to your work and then we can decide."
"That sounds like the beginning of a good plan."
"While we're here for the day, would you like to show me around your hometown? I would like to see your old hang out places."
"Oh…I guess I could." Viola trialed off.
"What's wrong?"
"I don't mind showing you some important places, but James…I don't like that part of me. I'm not that girl anymore."
"I agree. You have matured so much. I love the V I know now. I just wanted to see the places you used to hang out."
"I love you too, James."
"Great! Now, after we get everyone back to your old home, we can head out and sight see some."
"Fine. I would like to take you to a place I never visited but I always wanted to at some point."
"Sounds interesting."
…
Jack took the little bag that contained Elizabeth's belongings. Her mother grabbed a few things when they left for the hospital this morning. He reached out his other hand and kissed it. "Let's go, beautiful."
She gave him a smile. As they waited for the elevator, he could see her mind was working.
"What's up?" He asked.
She sighed. "School starts in four weeks, and I am no where ready for it. My classroom is not set up yet and I need to take it easy for a little while. I don't know how I'm going to get it done."
"Well, you have a large group of people downstairs waiting on you. I bet they will help. I will help as much as I can."
"I still can't believe they all came on such short notice like that. Why would they all do that?"
Jack turned toward his wife. "You can't be serious? Elizabeth, they all came for you. You mean so much to people. They had to come and be with you. They must have been so scared."
She smiled and nodded her head. Like Jack, she had no idea that she has touched so many lives.
When the elevator door opened, she was shocked to see everyone together. She saw most of them last night, but the sight of them all together was surprising to her. Her mother was the first person over to give her a hug, then her mom was next. As people walked up, Jack notice Chief Franklin standing by the door.
"Chief, what are you doing here this morning? Are you working on something?"
"It's Bob, Jack. No, I wanted to check on you and Elizabeth and the babies." He nodded toward the elevator and the crowd of people. "I assume the young lady you stepped off the elevator with is your Elizabeth?"
"Yes, that's Elizabeth."
"And she's going home? That's great, Jack. That must mean she is doing well."
"She is. She must keep a closer eye on her blood pressure, but all is fine."
"Oh, Jack, that's great! I'm happy for you."
"Thanks, Bob."
"I'll let you go so you can be with her and your family."
"Before you go Bob…please allow me to introduce you to Elizabeth and everyone."
Well, I did see your family yesterday, but I did not really meet them. We wanted to get them here as fast as we could. Introductions were not part of the plan."
Jack escorted Bob over to where the family was located. Jack took Elizabeth's hand and introduced her to Bob.
"Elizabeth, this is Hamilton Police Chief Bob Franklin. Bob, this is my wife, Elizabeth Thorton."
She gave him a smile and then stepped forward to give him a hug. "Thank you for all you did for my family. I'm sure I haven't heard everything, but I do know you got them here from the airport. I don't really know what to say."
"You are most welcome, Elizabeth. You said thank you, that is more than enough. How are you feeling?"
"I'm good. Just at little tired."
"Well, I won't keep you, but I wanted to check in on you. We were praying for you and your family. I told Jack yesterday, if you need anything, and I do mean anything, please call me."
"Thank you, Chief."
"Bob, please."
Jack took a moment to introduce Bob to his mother first and then the rest of the family. When he got to William, he introduced him as Mr. Thatcher. Everyone noticed but no one reacted. They all understood the situation that caused yesterday.
"Oh, yes Mr. Thatcher. I have heard of you, but we have never met. It's great to place a face to the name."
"Thank you, Chief Franklin."
After the introductions, Bob excused himself with the reminder to Elizabeth and Jack to call if they needed anything.
"So dear, what's the plan?" Asked Grace.
"I am taking Jack to Frasiers for a sub for lunch. We're hungry."
"And when she says we're hungry, she is talking about her and the babies."
"You mean Jack and Elizabeth." Smirked Charlette.
Jack looked at his mother and then at Elizabeth. "You told!" He exclaimed.
"It wasn't me…it was you." She retorted.
"I haven't told anyone, Elizabeth."
"Actually Jack." Grace stepped into the conversation. "You did yesterday when you were talking to the lady at the admission desk."
"I did…?" He stated as he was trying to think about the conversation he had with the admission lady.
"Yes, you told the lady Elizabeth's name, your nicknames for the babies, Elizabeth's nickname for the babies, and the names for them."
"Huh…I don't remember that." He stated as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah, I didn't think you knew you did it. I was standing beside you when you said it. I think you were rambling."
"I told you he rambles when he is nervous." Smirked Elizabeth.
"Alright, Mrs. Thorton. That's quite enough from you." He playfully nudged her shoulder with his shoulder.
Most of the family haven't known that they were having a boy and a girl. Each one congratulated them on the way to the cars. They were excited about a boy and a girl.
…
"So," Jack stated as he sat down on the same side Elizabeth was on at the booth by the window. "This was your high school hangout spot?"
"Yes. I was here probably two to three days out of the week."
"It's great. I like it."
"It hasn't changed very much."
After ordering their drinks and food, Jack took a moment to look around the restaurant. There were countless pictures hanging on the walls of what he assumed were local places. Elizabeth began to tell the story about each picture that caught his attention. Jack thought the restaurant was a cool place and he could easily see Elizabeth hanging out with her friends here.
"So, where are you taking me after this?"
"Well, I wanted to show you my old grade school and high school, a place called Thompsons, and a special place I would like to show you."
"Ok…so what is Thompsons and this special place?"
"Well, Thompsons is a store where I would pick up sketching supplies. Mr. and Mrs. Thompson owned the store for as long as I can remember. I started to go to purchase supplies when your father began to teach me to sketch. The couple who owns the store was always nice to me and they were very helpful to a beginner."
"That sounds nice. Maybe we can get some supplies while we are there. Maybe they will remember you."
"Maybe…"
"So, what is this special place you mentioned?"
"You will have to wait and see." She smirked. "I have always wanted to go but I've never been there."
Jack just looked at her but couldn't really read her mind. He was a little surprised when he saw a light blush appear on her cheeks. He was concerned her blood pressure was growing. "How are you feeling?"
"I'm fine. Maybe a little tired from everything, but I'm doing good."
Their food arrived and Jack freely admitted that the subs were the best he ever had.
"So, grade school and high school, Thompsons, and some secretive place?"
"Yes. Are you about ready?"
…
Tom and Julie left her childhood home with no particular destinaton in mind. They just didn't want to stay in the house. Tom thought it would be fun to see Julie's hometown. Julie enjoyed her life as a teenager in Hamilton, but this just wasn't her any longer. She enjoyed showing Tom around her old hangouts, but she was beginning to miss home.
"How do you feel about yesterday and this morning?" Asked Tom as they walked down the sidewalk holding hands.
"I'm not too sure. I'm angry that he would do that to Jack. I just don't understand why he would do that. Plus, the argument that caused this whole mess…" She shuttered at the thought. "I just don't understand any of it."
"You mentioned he seemed defeated this morning?"
"I have never seen my father like that. He has always been bigger than life and a strong man, but today he seemed almost human. He was broken. I think he finally realized he went too far. Do you think Jack will forgive him? He called him Mr. Thatcher instead of William. He wouldn't even look in his direction."
Tom thought for a couple of minutes. "I'm not sure. Ma and Pa always taught us to forgive people. However, I know how much Jack loves Elizabeth and his babies. He was broken when he thought he was going to lose them. He may not be able to forgive him because William caused his wife and children pain. Jack's love and dedication to the people he loves runs deep."
"Yeah. He loves Elizabeth and those babies a lot."
Tom thought for a moment. "I'm surprised he hasn't punched him out yet." Tom paused for a moment. He wanted to say something but wasn't sure how to say it. "I don't think I could forgive your father if he did that to you and our baby." He whispered.
"Yeah…I think Elizabeth warned him that he better change, or he would forever alter their relationship."
"I would argue that he has already altered their relationship." Tom said thoughtfully.
Tom and Julie spent the next few minutes talking about her father. This conversation was good for them. They not only had a lot of fun together, but they also were easily able to have the in depth conversations too. They didn't shrink from their adult responsibilities. Together, they were growing stronger as time went by.
The more Tom put himself in Jack's position, he was convinced he wouldn't be able to forgive William. In all of his imperfections, Tom knew he wouldn't harm his wife or any children they may have. This was just so complicated and beyond what he can fathom.
…
The last two hours was exactly what Elizabeth and Jack needed. They enjoyed their time together, they laughed and enjoyed being with each other. They would hold hands, or she would walk beside him with her arm resting on his arm. Yesterday was a difficult day for them, but today was turning into an enjoyable day of just being together. Instead of walking to different places, Jack insisted on taking the car. Elizabeth would argue that she was good to walk, but Jack just wouldn't do it unless it was a short distance. She tried to convince him, but he just wouldn't listen. She knew not to push the issue since the problem of yesterday was fresh in his mind.
Jack enjoyed seeing her grade school and high school. They tried to enter the building, but no one was there since they were still in summer break. After looking through a large glass window, Elizabeth found her locker she had during her senior year. She even remembered her combination number.
They parked the car into a public parking lot and walked down the sidewalk. Elizabeth promised the store was just around the corner. As they turned the corner, he saw on old building with a beautiful sign that had Thompsons written in cursive hanging over the sidewalk.
"There it is!" Elizabeth exclaimed. He could sense her excitement.
They walked into the store and an older lady stood up from behind the counter. "Good afternoon. How may I…Elizabeth Thatcher…is that you?"
"Hello Mrs. Thompson. How are you doing."
"Well, my dear. I am doing fine. The last I heard was that you were living in a small town. I haven't seen you in ages. Are you well?"
"I am, Mrs. Thompson. May I introduce you to my husband, Jack Thorton?"
"Mr. Thorton, it is my pleasure to meet you. Oh Elizabeth, I just notice, are you pregnant?"
"I am. We are expecting twins."
"Oh my goodness. Oh, wait. Give me a minute."
She turned around and poked her head through the back door leading into the storage area. "James, get out here. You're not going to believe this."
She turned back around smiling at the couple. "Elizabeth, it so great to see you."
An older man walked out of the back room. "For goodness sakes. Why are you yelling at me?"
Jack laughed at the older man and decided he was going to like this man.
When James looked up, he saw the little girl standing in the young woman before him.
"Elizabeth…Elizabeth Thatcher, is that really you?"
"Hello, Mr. Thompson. How are you?"
"I'm fine, dear. Oh, look at you. You're glowing."
She shyly smiled. "Yes, sir. This is my husband, Jack Thorton."
"So, you are the lucky man who won this woman's heart?"
"Yes sir. I am blessed that she chose to walk this life with me." Jack stated as he reached for her hand.
"Alright gentleman. You are beginning to embarrass me."
"So Elizabeth, what are you doing now?"
Elizabeth shared that she is a fifth grade teacher and that her and Jack have only been married for a few months. She became pregnant on their honeymoon. The Thompsons were excited that she fulfilled her dream of being a teacher. They chatted like old friends. Jack wasn't surprised to find another person who loved his wife. She was just that type of person.
Jack and Elizabeth spent an hour inside the store. Elizabeth spent a good portion of that time catching up with her old friends. Jack laughed at some of the stories the Thompsons shared with him about a young Elizabeth. Jack and Elizabeth walked around the store to pick up a few supplies. She hugged Mr. and Mrs. Thompson as they were leaving. She was grateful to spend time with them and caught up.
"So, were to now?"
"Let's go to the special place."
"Perfect. I guess you need to drive since you won't tell me about it."
"We're walking to this one. Let's go." She stated taking hold of his hand and pulling him forward. While he began to argue with her about driving, she didn't give him an option. Typically, he loved her stubborn side, but not at the moment. However, he knew her facial expressions and knew this look of determination very well. No matter how much he would argue, he wasn't going to win.
…
James and Viola were walking down the sidewalk in the middle of Hamilton holding hands. He enjoyed walking the town with Viola. She was pointing out important landmarks. Viola did see a few people she knew and stopped to speak to a couple of individuals she went to high school with. She liked the town, but it just wasn't her any longer. Her time in England changed her for the worse. However, Hope Valley has changed her for the better. James was a great addition to her life.
Viola turned toward James. She wanted to ask a big question. "James, how do you feel about us?"
"I'm very excited about where we are. I believe we are growing closer together each day. You are good for me, and I hope I am good for you."
"You are very good for me. You weren't the change for me, but I do believe you have helped in that aspect."
"I think you have helped me too." He stated as he moved to be in front of her and he placed his hands on her hips. "I love our time together. It doesn't matter what we are doing, I enjoy being with you. I spend a good portion of my day thinking about you."
"I do too."
"V, are you happy with where we are heading?"
"I am if we are heading where I think we are."
"And where do you think we are heading? He flirted.
"Well, I'm hoping we are moving forward."
"Yeah…?" He asked as he leaned in for a quick, gentle kiss.
"I'm the only Thatcher sister who isn't married." She teased a little but was intently looking at James.
"Would you mind if I change that situation for you?" He asked nervously. He continued eye contact, and she could see his nervousness.
"I hope you will do something about that soon." She flirted. She leaned in to capture his lips. He met her halfway. The kiss was full of love, hope, and excitement for a good future together.
"I would like to take you one more place before we head back to the house?"
"That will be fine. Let's go." He stated smiling.
…
"Where are we going?"
"Tom, I said to be patient!"
"Sweetheart, you have been married to me for a while now. You should know better by now that I am not a patient man."
She laughed. "Just a few more minutes."
"Fine, but this better be worth it." He sassed.
"It will be."
She has always daydreamed about this place. She wanted to go but never have and now she gets to go with the love of her life.
…
Viola led James through a beautiful city park. He was impressed with the number of trees in a city park inside of Hamilton.
"Where are you taking me?"
"To the outcrop of rocks over there." She pointed to the edge of the park.
"That looks cool!"
"It's called Make Out Rock."
"Make Out Rock?" Asked James.
"Yes. It's the make out spot for the local high school students." She blushed.
"Really?"
She nodded as she continued to walk toward the large outcrop of rocks.
"How many times have you been here?" He sassed.
"I haven't. I didn't date in high school."
"Really?"
"Yeah. I think you need to hush and walk a little faster. I've always wanted to go there."
"Well, let's go." He stated as he tugged her toward the rocks. She melted at the look in his eyes.
…
"Julie, what's this place?"
"It's the local make out spot."
"Really?"
"Yes. Would you like to go to the Make Out Rock with me? There's a special place I always heard about. I want to go there."
"What are you waiting for? Let's go woman."
"I love you, husband."
"I love you, wife." He laughed at his wife's eagerness.
…
Jack and Elizabeth walked down the main path of a beautiful park.
"Why are you in such a hurry?"
"We have some place to go. Let's go."
"I'm coming."
"Let's go slow poke." She sassed him.
"I don't understand why you're rushing. Where are we going?"
"Do you see those rocks over there?"
"Sure. They're huge."
"Well, that's Make Out Rock."
"Make Out Rock?" Jack asked curiously. "Are you serious?"
"Absolutely, I've always wanted to go."
"You've never been to Make Out Rock? Not even with that high school boyfriend of yours?"
"Definitely not with him." She stated wrinkling her nose. "Now…let's go husband. I have dreamed of Make Out Rock for a while. Now, I can experience it was my husband."
…
Make Out Rock is a huge outcrop of rocks that expanded about forty feet high at its highest point. The rock was about one hundred yards wide. High school couples would often come to Make Out Rock to make out after football games and on the weekends. It was widely known that there were private sections on the rock where couples could get away for a few kisses. It wasn't uncommon for several couples to be there at one time. There were places you could go that you couldn't see anyone, and no one could see you.
Everyone in Hamilton knew about it. To be perfectly honest, most people who grew up in Hamilton had visited Make Out Rock at some point with their significant others. It was almost a right of passage.
…
Viola and James were the first to arrive. After climbing a few minutes, they found a beautiful tree beside a piece of rock that was perfect to sit on. After sitting down, Vi placed her hands around James' neck and pulled him closer and their lips met. The realization with where their relationship was heading fueled the passion in their kiss.
Within a couple of minutes, they heard another couple climbing the side of the rock path.
"Be quiet, James. They will go past to another spot. They may not even see us."
James nodded "This is kind of cool…being sneaky and all." He wiggled his eyebrows as he continued to kiss her neck.
Tom and Julie made their way to the large pine tree that was a popular spot. At the base of the tree, was a small place that was covered with a small patch of grass. It was actually very comfortable. Tom leaned against the tree and Julie sat in front of him and leaned against Tom's chest. After a few moments, Tom moved the hair from Julie's neck and his lips found the back of her neck and he slowly worked his way around until his lips found her lips.
As Elizabeth and Jack began the small hike up the path, Jack stopped her. "Sweetheart, do you think we should do this?"
"Jack, I'm fine. I feel good and the babies are good. We haven't walked very much today."
"But…"
"No buts Jack. I have always wanted to do this and now I can. I feel good and I haven't seen you all week. Please?"
Jack lowered his head in complete defeat. "Good…grief…Let's go woman."
Her smile grew as they walked the short path. She walked slow so not to put too much stress on herself. Jack held her hand all the way up. When they reached the spot where she wanted to go, she looked at Jack.
"There is a large oak tree. Just to the left of it, is a beautiful large Lilac shrub. It should be around here some where."
"Let me ask, if you have never been here before, how do you know about the oak tree and a Lilac shrub?" He teased with a questioning look.
"My best friend told me about it. She said it was beautiful. I would dream about it, and I wanted to come here with my husband."
"Well, let's see if we can find it."
As they slowly began to look for it, they noticed two couples, but didn't think too much about it.
"Rumor has it that people come here all the time. However, once you find your spot, you can't really see the other couples."
"Ok…that sounds a little weird."
"Oh…there's the oak tree. The Lilac should be just to the left of it." She took his hand and tugged him to follow her.
After a few steps, the Lilac came into view. "Oh…there it is…it's beautiful!" She stated as she placed one hand over her mouth.
"It is…" He began to say until she took his hand and pulled him across the rocks toward the Lilac in a hurry.
"Come on Jack." She stated with excitement.
Julie pulled away from Tom's kisses and told him to shush. "Did you hear that?"
"Hear what?" He asked as he attempted to reconnect his lips to her neck.
"That…wait!"
She stood. "Elizabeth, is that you?"
Elizabeth stopped walking and looked shocked as she turned around to the sound of the voice. "Julie?"
"Elizabeth Marie…what are you doing here?" Julie stated as she stood and began to walk toward her sister.
"Julie, I could ask you the same question."
"I didn't just get out of the hospital."
Elizabeth gave her a big sister look. "And what are you doing here?"
"Well, I guess the same as you."
"Julie? Elizabeth?"
"You've got to be kidding me." Sighed Elizabeth. She couldn't believe how this time with Jack was turning out.
"Viola?" Asked Julie.
"Julie…what are you doing here?" She asked with a big sister tone.
"I guess I'm doing the same thing as you and Elziabeth."
"Wait, Elizabeth…you shouldn't be here! Why are you here?"
"I'm with my husband." Said a visibly annoyed Elizabeth.
While the three sisters were standing in a large circle staring at each other, Jack, Tom, and James all stood back smiling at the sisters. The scene before them could have been in a comedy show. All three ladies stood stunned and annoyed at each other.
"Elizabeth, I don't think you should be here."
"Me? What exactly are you doing here, Viola?"
"I'm the oldest, I don't think I have to explain myself to my little sisters."
"I'm certainly old enough to make my own decisions." Stated Julie. "I agree with Vi. Elizabeth, you just got out of the hospital, I don't think you should be going to Make Out Rock the same day you are released from the hospital." Smirked Julie.
"Good grief." Exhaled Elizabeth. "The doctor said I am fine. I feel good. Why shouldn't I be here?"
"Well, you just got out of the hospital, and you are pregnant." Sassed Viola with a sassy smile.
"Viola, you have always tried to ruin my fun." Elizabeth teased.
"Excuse me ladies…"
Jack interrupted James grabbing his arm. "Don't" He whispered in a determined, hushed tone.
"No man. Don't get in the middle of that. It will only lead to pain." Whispered Tom.
"But…"
"Shut up man." Jack said forcefully.
They looked up and realized it was too late. All three sisters were staring at them.
"James…"
James cut Jack off. "Listen, we could all go back to the places where we were. We can't see each other. It will be ok if…"
Jack and Tom were shaking their heads in disbelief. They knew this wasn't good.
"Excuse me?" Asked Viola, cutting off her boyfriend.
"And I guess you're ok with that?" Asked Julie.
"Thanks man." Groaned Tom.
"There is no way I'm making out with my husband with my sisters in the same location." Stated a determined Elizabeth.
"You've got to be crazy!" Viola stated.
"Dude…" Jack gave James a stern look. "The first chance I get, I am giving you a speeding ticket."
Author's Note:
Tomorrow I will post chapter 101. It's Jack's first time in Elizabeth's childhood home. Let's just say it doesn't go very well. After tomorrow, I will go back to my normal posting schedule.
