A/N and Disclaimer: These were just my notes on how I would rewrite The Parent Trap and make it Samcedes after enjoying a Westallen version of the story that never got finished on AOOO. I would love it if someone out there could do this story it would be like totally awesome.

Second Story for Adoption: The Sister Switch

Sarina Jessica Jones–lives with mom Mercedes Jones a rich retired singer who now owns a record label and has moved back to live in Lima from California with her mother because her dad died and her mom's health declined. Her dad a big Marvel fan wanted her name to be Jessica Jones-Evans, but Mercedes compromised by making it her middle name. Like the character Jessica Jones, Sarina is one tough cookie who has been isolated her entire life and has the reputation for being a stuck up spoiled rich girl when in fact she is the opposite.

Moving back home to Lima and taking care of Sarina gives her mom a new lease on life. After separating from Sam when they eloped and married during the fourth run of their relationship, Mercedes has taken her wedding vows seriously; she has only industry dated but has not been in a relationship since Sam who refuses to sign divorce papers. Sarina vaguely remembers her father but knows that he is the name that should not be mentioned. She grew up privately tutored as she toured the world with her mom. When her mom retired from singing three years ago and started her own record label, Sarina was finally able to go to a private school. She is upset about being in Lima and even madder at her grandmother for convincing her mother to send her to the same camp that Mercedes attended when she was nine. She doesn't want to be around girls and pretending to make friends. She was a loner and proud of it. She doesn't know she is in an introvert who was hurt as a child when she was separated from her twin and she guards her heart to keep from getting hurt again.

Marina Kamala Evans-lives with her dad Sam Evans a recent hire at the Lima School of Arts as a football coach/art teacher. Her middle name is from Ms. Marvel who was Mercedes favorite female character when she was younger.

When Sam finally convinced Mercedes to elope with him; he felt as if all his dreams had come true. The two were happily married until her manager found out. Mercedes was already pregnant with twins when her manager threatened to reveal Sam's stripper past if Mercedes publicized their marriage or kids. Even though Mercedes didn't care, Sam knew that her fans would and their children would be picked at school one day because once something is on the internet it would be impossible to hide it. So, he convinces Mercedes to keep their marriage and home life a secret. At first Mercedes didn't mind, but when it was time for her to continue her career, she gave Sam the ultimatum; either their relationship was made public or they were going to get a divorce. She couldn't understand why Sam didn't want the world to know they were happily married with two beautiful babies who were about to turn two. Sam's art was taking LA by storm. He was a reputable artist and even though he wasn't as rich or famous as Mercedes he was wealthy in his own right and admired in his field. Instead of telling Mercedes the truth, he took the coward's way out and agreed to divorce Mercedes. Because there were no grounds for divorce; the two decided to separate for three years and that would give them grounds for divorce. Their lawyers suggested that each parent get custody of one child, then there would be no reason for child support. They were supposed to visit but with Mercedes touring, visiting became almost impossible. Marina and Sarina had separation anxiety and their family therapist thought it would be a good idea to stop visitations until the divorce was finalized and the girls were older and could understand what was going on.

Sam moved back to Kentucky to be with his family because he could produce art anywhere. He purchased a ranch for his family when he made his first million in sales; and the ranch is where he and Marina lived. Marina went to public school and grew up a tomboy riding horses and following her father around. She was an okay artist but excelled in singing, acting, and dancing. When Beiste called him up and told him he was retiring, and offered Sam his job; Sam decided to move to Lima much to Marina's dismay. She missed the ranch and her grandparents and Stevie and Stacie when they visited. Most of all she detests Kitty Wilde, the cheerleading coach who wants her dad but hates that Marina is part of the package. Sam has decided to send her to camp for summer that her mother attended when she was a girl to be a peace offering.

Of course they meet at camp. Sarina's hair is in braids and Marina's hair is blown out and is in a ponytail but they share a face and the camp hijinks of the movie are back with more of sister against sister instead of cabin against cabin. They are punished by having to share a cabin alone together when Marina accidentally sets fire to a canoe that Marina is own when it is hit by a flaming arrow she sends towards her popular at camp sister as revenge. The two began to figure out quickly that they are twins separated at birth and their reunion is a tearjerker. Sarina realizes her imaginary friend Mimi was never imaginary it was her sister and Marina lets Sarina know that her dad always talked about her and her mom and she just thought her mom didn't want her. They hatch the plan to get to know their other parent and take out Sarina's braid and both wash their hair letting it dry and becoming naturally curly. By the end of the camp they are best friends with different tastes but a lot like their parents their differences make them love each other more.

Sarina sees what Kitty is up to and begins to terrorize the cheerleading coach in diabolical ways. When Mercedes comes home from an unexpected two week run as a replacement for Amber Riley as Effie on the West End in London it only takes her one day with Marina to realize what has happened. Marina convinces her to allow her to stay and Mercedes can't help but follow her daughter's wishes. She and the girl do everything together and even though Mercedes doesn't want to let her daughter go, she calls Sam and they meet. They decide it was time to share custody with the girls but the girls don't won't to be split up and the two agree to move in together.

It's not long before the two fall back in love and now that Mercedes in no longer under her management, there really is no reason for the two to not be together...
