Chapter 8
The Rider followed the target throughout Neo Domino, leaving a trail of fire from his wheels. After many miles and many twists and turns the scent led him to a rock quarry on the outskirts of the city. The Rider dismounted his Runner and looked around for the cold blooded murderer.
Why the quarry? Yusei thought. There's nothing valuable. Nothing to steal.
His thoughts were interrupted by a spotlight shining on him from above from a crane, followed by the voice of his target.
"How art thou!? Thou globby bottle of cheap, stinking chip-oil!? Come and get one in the yarbles, if you have any yarbles, you eunuch jelly thou!"
The Rider responded by finding a nearby chain and using it to grab the brat from the crane and pulling him down to the hard ground. The Rider wrapped the chain around his neck and started spinning him around until he grew enough momentum to throw him into a forklift. When the dust settled it showed that the Rider managed to impale him on it.
"Oof… I've been impaled." He said as he pulled himself off of it, his wound already starting to heal. The Rider made his way toward him until he dropped a bombshell.
"That's no way to treat the son of the Devil." He said.
That made Yusei cause the body to stop. The target turned around and swept his hair to the side. There on the lump where his spine met his skull were three sixes in a triangular formation.
"That's right, Yusei." He said as he turned around to face him. "I'm literally the Antichrist. I will bring upon the death and destruction of this entire world."
Yusei was so in shock, the Rider couldn't move his body. Which gave the Antichrist an opening to punch him across the quarry and into a pile of rocks. The impact was so strong it caused the Rider's flames to go out and for Yusei's skin and hair to grow back.
Then he felt the Antichrist's hand around his neck and held him up off the ground. Yusei struggled to get free but without the Rider's strength, his effort was for naught. He slowly started to lose consciousness until he heard a familiar voice from the distance.
"LORD POISON ATTACK!"
Behind the Antichrist was a familiar plant monster that slashed at his back, causing him to drop Yusei. As he caught his breath, he looked up and saw his friends up by the entrance to the quarry. Akiza had her Duel Disk active and her Lord Poison active. Behind her were Jack, Crow, Leo, and Luna. Before he knew it the Antichrist evaporated and everything went black.
It's been awhile, and I'm sorry for that. It's just that my urge to write comes in very short bursts. Thank you for being patient. Hope you stay safe in these crazy times.
