Under Wing
Summary: Stolas looked down curiously at the human child lying on the cobblestone of the demon realm. Wrath was no place for such a creature, and yet… he found himself oddly drawn to her. She was no older than his precious Via… how could he possibly turn her away. Not able to look away, not willing to turn the other cheek, he knelt and lifted her into his feathered arms.

Stolas ran after the two little girls, both of which were racing each other from one end of the hall to the other. Their cheeks both were blotted with a red flush as they dodged his every attempt at catching them. Oh, they were happy, screaming, laughing, it was amazing!? Wait, he couldn't tell if this was a good thing or a bad thing anymore.
"Kagome! Kagome!" Octavia reached out and wrapped her arms around the small girl that stood roughly the same size as she did. "Kagome, this way!" She quickly pulled her new little sister around one of the carnivorous plants they kept and laughed loudly as Stolas fumbled to get to them.
"No, no, this way! Come on, this way, Via!"
It had been two months since he'd brought the ball of sunshine into his home, and he had no regrets! Well, he was worried about Stella, but that was something he hoped would take care of itself with time. "Ah! I got you!" Wrapping his arms around Octavia and Kagome, he pulled them both into his arms. "My little shooting stars~."
"Hoshi~!" Kagome smiled, laughing as she was tickled on the floor by Stolas and Octavia.
"Daddy! Daddy! Can we go to Lu Lu Land today?"
Laughing into a deep breath of air, he calmed his breathing and helped Kagome up, looking to Octavia, who was sitting sprawled out on the floor beside him. "Lu Lu Land... hm, that does sound like fun." Sitting up, he summoned Xol to assist the girls with dressing. "I'm afraid the dress code for Lu Lu Land doesn't cover pajamas, so you'll need to get dressed, my little fireflies."
Giggling, Kagome leaned forward and wrapped her arms around his legs, "Hotaru!"
"Is that firefly in Japanese?" Stolas had learned early on that for every nickname he gave his girls, Kagome had a name of her own.
She gave a small nod, taking Xol's hand as he came to retrieve the girls.

"Still playing house, dear?"
Stolas pulled on a t-shirt and turned to see his wife walking into their shared bedroom. She took a seat on their bed, giving him a sultry look as she tried to capture his attention. A shame it didn't have the desired effect she was hoping for. "As it so happens, Stella, the only one playing house is you." He pulled on a plain sweater to fight off the wind and left his fuming wife to marinate in her temper in their room.
Stepping out into the foyer, he was greeted by two excited children who were ready and rearing to go. He held a hand out and created a tear in space before holding his hands out to the kids. Both were quick to run to him, and he carried both through the portal. "We have a rule, now don't we, Via?"
"Don't wander off!" She looked at Kagome, "you hold my hand, Kagome. I will keep you safe!"
As they stepped through the amusement park gates, they were immediately confronted with the fun-loving Apple Mascot, LuLu! "I wonder if we should have gone to Lu Lu World," brushing the thought off, he smiled as Kagome and Octavia ran around the apple mascot. In two months, this little human had found her way into not only his heart but his precious Via's.
"Come along, both of you. Let's see about the shows and a couple of rides! Oh, look it here!"
"Clown!" Kagome cheered.
"That's Fizzarolli, would you girls like your own Fizzarolli plushie?"
Octavia and Kagome quickly hurried to the booth, picking out the Fizzarolli they wanted as Stolas paid for the stuffed dolls.
"Fizzoli!" Kagome cried out happily, showing her toy to Octavia as her sister brought her doll up to block hers. It wasn't long before they were playing tag with their stuffed toys.
"Via dear, Kagome!" Stolas called, "let's go see about some rides! According to the pamphlet, the Core Roll is just around the corner here." He smiled, pointing ahead, "there it is."

After a long day of riding in large red apples that tumbled about, getting pictures with Mascot's, and chasing the girls through LuLu's mouth at the Fun House...Stolas was exhausted. Still, though, both girls wanted to go to the Circus, and he had promised them they would.
"Hurry the fuck up, shows about to start, you whiny little shits!"
Stolas glanced back curiously at the Imp dressed up as a clown; how degrading, he thought. Picking both girls up, he walked by without paying him much mind. Getting a good seat making sure the girls were comfortable, it didn't take long for the show to start. Cheering, laughing, singing...Via's wide eyes told him how much she loved it, oh...but Kagome... Kagome was gone.
"Via dear, did you see where Kagome left to?"
Octavia looked away from the clown on stage and around at the seats. She looked back up at her father and shook her head.
"Oh my, let's go and find her. Or would you like to finish the show, love?"
The way she shook her head quickly, he could see how important Kagome was to her. What a dreadfully sweet child he'd raised! She would leave the fun-loving clown to go to her little sister's rescue. "Alright then, my sweet Via, let us go rescue Kagome!"

"Listen, I'm not saying I hate the guy, I do, but FUCK! Why does he get so much GOD DAMN ATTENTION!?"
Kagome laughed, clapping her hands at the angry Imp ranting in front of her. She had vacated the seat almost as soon as the show started. Scared away by the demon on stage, something about him made her scared, so she ran away. Not far, though. Herr dad and sister would surely be able to find her.
"Where did your parents go, kid?" Crouching down, he looked at her curiously. She had a strange smell on her. "You're too cute to be tossed aside, were you sold?"
"Sold? Like buying?" She held out her doll, "daddy bought Fizzoli for me!"
"Fucking...stupid ass...AUGH! You know, they have Imp dolls too..." he blushed and looked away from her, "not that I'm trying to sell you anything. Unless you like horses. I've got a bunch of those!"
Kagome held her hand out, "I like horses!"
"Right!? They're so cool!"
"Kagome?!"
Looking back behind her, she watched as STolas and Via came running from the tent to where she was sitting by her new friend.
"Kagome, we were so worried! I told you, my little Firefly, you mustn't run off on your own," Stolas looked dangerously at the clown by her side but stopped when he noticed how little a threat he appeared. "Who is this, Kagome?"
"...my friend!"
"Your friend? This... Imp? A curious choice, my dear."
"Listen, you Goetia DICK! I didn't have to sit out here babysitting your fucking spawn! Piece of shit royals,"
Kagome reached out and patted him on the arm. All the anger in him dwindled to next to nothing as he sighed, scoffed, and then walked off. Leaving behind a flushed-faced Prince and two giggling kids who had no idea what had happened. All the innocent doves knew was that the little Imp was funny when he got all angry and bouncy.
"Ekhm, well, I believe that's a good place to call it a night. Shall we head home, my little ones?"
"HOME!"
