Pairings: Haou x Yubel (human)

"Skull Knight! Demise! Lead the villagers to the castle grounds – Now!" Haou ordered. Both nodded before leaving with a few troops on hand.

"What can we do?" Jaden asked, determined.

At first Haou was about to protest, but he saw the determination in his brother's eyes. He sighed, "The villagers…protect them."

Jaden nodded, "Right and you, watch yourself."

Haou smirked, remembering their mother would say the same thing during his sword training. "Of course – Johan! Get the troops ready!"

"On it!" Johan shouted then turned to Jesse and the others. "Be on your guard. There could be a light spy disguise as a villager so keep your eyes and ears open."

Jesse and the others nodded, seriously.

Johan mounted onto Advance Sapphire Pegasus and flew to his troops to get them ready.

Jim placed his hand on Jaden's shoulder, "Well mate, shall we?"

Jaden nodded and was about to lead his friends to the gates when Aqua stopped them. "Wait! The villagers don't know about you two yet. Here, wear this."

Jaden and Jesse widen their eyes upon seeing the clothes that Aqua gave them.

"Why do we need to dress up as our brothers? Wouldn't that confuse the villagers?" Jesse asked.

"Sometimes, Haou would duplicate himself and Johan by using a spell card," explained Aqua.

"So, we'll be just a duplicate to them," said Jaden.

Aqua winked, "Not just that."

Jaden and Jesse had a confuse look until Jim snapped his fingers, getting everyone's attention. "This will hide your identities in case there is a spy."

Axel nodded, "Thinking ahead. We don't know what this spy, if there's one, can do."

Jaden sighed, "If that's the case give us a few to change. Aqua will help you guys where you can help," then left with Jesse to change a few feet away.

"I'm good at lookout," stated Axel.

"Same, madam!" Hassleberry said, then slammed his hand onto Syrus' back, "You're coming too, Private."

"I…prefer being away from any danger," murmured Syrus.

"Well, I prefer to be in action," said Chazz.

Atticus rubbed his chin, "Mm, I guess half of us can help at the gates while the rest help out the healers and cooks."

"I'll help the cooks," said Alexis.

"Oh! Me too!" Syrus offered, quickly.

Aqua nodded, knowing where the children will be helping. That's when Jaden and Jesse returned. Everyone gasped upon seeing Jaden and Jesse wearing their brother's clothes…they look just like them minus the eyes.

"Holy," Hassleberry gaped.

"Jay…is it really you?" Syrus asked.

Jaden scratched his cheek, "Positive, why?"

"Well, this disguise will definitely work," Atticus smiled.

"Too well," murmured Chazz.

"Right, back to the main topic," Aqua clapped and three kuribohs appear by her side, "Alexis and Syrus, you'll be helping the cooks. Follow Kuriboh #1, he'll lead you to them."

Alexis and Syrus nodded and followed the brown kuriboh.

"Atticus, you'll be aiding the healers. Kuriboh #2, lead him to where the infirmary station is at," said Aqua. The pink kuriboh float over to Atticus, who gave the small creature a smile.

"Lead the way, little one."

"Axel and Hassleberry, you'll be assisting the guards at the gates. Kuriboh #3, if you would," said Aqua. The yellow kuriboh jumped up and down, then float to a pathway.

"I…guess we go that way," murmured Hassleberry, following the small creature.

Axel nodded and turned his head, "Don't let your guard down."

Jaden, Jesse, Jim and Chazz nodded.

"Jim and Chazz, you'll be with us," finished Aqua. "Jaden, no one will say your name, just 'your highness' so pay attention."

Chazz snorted, "He hardly pays attention, Aqua. But don't worry, I'll make sure he does." He gave a malicious smile, causing Jaden to step back, sheepishly.

-Town Village-

"We've counted. All villagers went to the castle," informed Skull Knight.

"Right, start looking for Yubel," ordered Haou.

"And um…what do we do if we…" started Skull Knight, nervously.

"Encounter her? Lead Yubel to the town's fountain while someone send word to us," said Haou. Demise, Skull Knight and the troops saluted before splitting up.

"Are you positive this will work?" Johan questioned Haou as he removed his cloak, revealing a Slifer Red uniform.

"She's too blind from the light. It'll work," said Haou, seriously.

"So, you're just going to walk straight to her hands?! Then what? The Light of Destruction is controlling her. She can, no – will hurt you once she knows who you really are," argued Johan.

"I know that!" Haou snapped before sighing, "I have a plan…I just hope we can remove that blasted light from her, if not…"

Johan frowned, "I know. Let's hope it doesn't get to that point," then crossed his arms, "So, why am I not with the troops?"

Haou smirked and took out a pair of clothes from his pouch. Johan widened his eyes, taking a step back, "You want me to do what?!"

Meanwhile not too far from them, Aster and Zane were fighting some light soldiers that Yubel summoned, while Crowler…he was hiding.

"There's too many of them! Let's head to the castle – now!" Aster said as he avoided an incoming attack.

"And miss all the fun," Zane smirked, wincing slightly. "Go if you want Phoenix, but I'm not going anywhere until I eliminate these pests."

Aster glared at the dark cyber duelist, before spotting two familiar people. "Jaden? Jaden! Anderson! Over here!" he called out.

Haou and Johan stopped when they heard their 'names' being called. The older brunette took a deep breath and forced a smile, "Hey…um, what are you guys doing here?"

Before Aster could reply, Crowler came out from his hiding spot and ran over to Haou. He grabbed Haou's hands, "Oh, thank goodness! I'm saved! I mean we're saved!"

For the first time, Haou felt uncomfortable.

"Crowler, now's not the time. Either fight or go back to your hiding spot," hissed Zane as he ordered his dragon to attack.

"Oh, right – I'll just stay with Jaden," said Crowler, quickly. He hides behind Haou, who had a strange expression along with Johan.

"Well, glad to know you're alright. Everyone was quite worried as you never return with the others," said Aster then frowned, "Hey, have you seen them? The King's army capture them."

Haou was about reply when they had to dodge from an incoming soldier.

"Destroy them first, questions later?" Johan said.

Zane nodded, "Fine by me."

-Castle, Entrance Gates-

"Your highness, all villagers have been counted and far as I know, everyone's here," said Baou.

Jaden nodded, "Anyone injured?"

Chaos shook his head, "Just minor cuts and bruises. Mostly the people are in shock."

"Right. Guard the gates while Baou, stay at the grounds," ordered Jesse. He leaned over at the guardian, "Keep your eyes open. My brother suspects a spy among the villagers."

Baou and Chaos nodded before leaving to their duties.

Jaden looked around the grounds and let out a huge sigh of relief. "So far so good. I haven't sensed any light aura…yet."

Jim crossed his arms, "It could be hiding…waiting for the right moment to strike."

Chazz smirked, smugly, "Don't you worry, your highness. Thy Chazz is on the case. No one can hide from thy Chazz."

"That's right!" the Ojama brothers shouted.

Quickly, Jesse covered Chazz's mouth and leaned over to his ear. "Quiet. Low key, remember? If there is a spy, it cannot know we're looking for it."

"Then what's your bright idea, Anderson?" Chazz snapped after he removed Jesse's hand from his mouth.

Jesse was thinking when he noticed Jaden's eyes were slightly golden and wide open. "Something wrong, your highness?"

"The light aura…I see it…it's surrounding a small group," whispered Jaden. "They're sitting around the fountain."

Jim gritted his teeth, "A group? Not good. How many?"

"Mm…five," replied Jaden. "I think…the ringleader is the female who's pacing. Her aura…is much stronger."

"I'll have the guards keep an eye on them," said Aqua, then told one of the soldiers to watch the fountain. The soldier nodded before dashing to where some of the high-level guards were at.

-Town Village-

"Cyber End dragon, attack!" Zane ordered as his machine dragon destroyed a set of light soldiers. He winced a bit, "…how far is to the fountain center?"

"A few streets away. Hopefully Jo – Jesse and Aster are there," replied Haou.

During an attack, a blast destroyed a building, separating the four duelists. Johan and Aster are on one side while Haou and Zane are on the other. Haou told Johan and Aster to go to the center of the town which has a fountain in the middle before the two departed.

Zane narrowed his eyes, "Alright, enough is enough. You can't be Jaden. You're a bit taller than him and…your eyes…their golden. Who are you really?"

Haou sighed before smirking, "My little brother is right about you. But…what I can't understand is your new logic of dueling. It doesn't really suit you."

"Little…brother? Jaden is your little brother?!" Zane said in disbelief. He then glared at him, "What do you mean it doesn't suit me? The only way to win in the Pro-league is to be ruthless. There's no respect – ah!"

Haou widened his eyes as he watched the dark cyber duelist dropped to his knees and his hand on his chest. The older brunette bends down and placed his hand on Zane's deck before frowning.

"This deck…it has it's mind of it's own," said Haou. "You're pushing yourself using this kind of duel spirits. It's effecting your heart…and life."

"You…don't think…I know that…" murmured Zane, wincing. "But the deck…these cards…they want to fight, no matter what. I want to show…everyone that I am strong…that I can handle…this deck…"

Haou frowned, "Your mind's clouded. Not by darkness, but pride…and determination."

Zane stayed silent, looking down.

"…look, I can help you if you want. I would not like to see my brother upset to know his friend has fallen," said Haou, seriously.

Zane sharply looked at the brunette, "How? How can you help me? And who are you?"

"Haou, the King of this dimension and the older brother to Jaden. Do you accept my offer?"

Zane was about to reply when a blast almost hit them. They looked up to see it was none other than Yubel who was grinning in a mad, crazy way.

"I found you! Finally!" Yubel said before forming another blast. "Now it's your turn to feel pain like I did!"

-Break Line-

Oh! They finally reunited! But it looks like its not a good one. Will Haou able to save Yubel or will she hurt me? And can Haou really save Zane from his 'dark' personality to what he used to be?
