Hey guys and gals, it's me, CMBasher7 back with another installment in Yuya Sakaki, Rise of the Duelist Shield Hero(s).
I hope you all liked Chapter 2, it took a while for me as I wanted to make sure that Yuya would be the best combination of not only Naofumi, but of Yuya himself as well, seeing as how many of you didn't like the idea that Yuya would just be a carbon copy of just "Naofumi with a Duel Disk", in this series.
I don't own anything from The Rising of the Shield Hero or Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V, they and anything I write belongs to their respective owners and creators.
Anyways, with that out of the way, let's dive right on in...

"Raphtalia, in life, no one get's to tell how you live your life. Sometimes people throughout history will try their best to make sure you're forgotten. You don't get the option of who gets to live, who gets to die, or who even tells your story to future generations." These words felt so wrong in her ears, but they held so much weight on them like it was the truth.
"If we kill monsters, we get to live another day and they die, we don't and they get to live and we die. Do you want your story to be that you were afraid? Or do you want history to remember your name so that things that had happen to you, will NEVER happen to someone else again?!" Yuya shouted, it was a simple question, fight or flee. But the way her Master said it, it made the decision that much more impactful.
She ready her sword at the two monsters, took one step forward and gripped the handle tightly.
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHH!" Raphtalia screamed with tears in her eyes and an enraged expression on her face. She then thrusted her knife into the PikyuPikyu, before pulling it out and stabbing the Usapil.
Their blood went everywhere coating both Yuya and Raphtalia in the monsters bloods in a violent display.
During the twin blood geysers, Raphtalia kept on crying as her tears washed some of the blood off of her face. She tried to catch her breathe, noticing that her coughs were gone now for good, And looked up at Yuya-Sama and locked eyes with him.
Yuya felt like he pushed her a little too far and felt like a damn villain, like Z-Arc was when he first combined with the Four Dimensional Dragons. He slowly walked over to her, wanting to say something, but the moment she locked eyes with him. He stopped.
Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Yuri, and Raphtalia all looked at each other, but it was mainly Raphtalia and Yuya looking at each other. Raphtalia then slowly forced a teary smile and spoke.

"I... I want to live too, Yuya-Sama."

We start the intro with Yuya, Motoyasu, Itsuki, and Ren being first summoned to Melromarc, but they all wore their own armors as Yuya flicked his white cloak away revealing Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri's spirits standing right behind him.
The Legendary Sword's blue orb glows in Ren's hand.
The Legendary Bow's yellow orb glows in Itsuki's hand.
The Legendary Spear's red orb glows in Motoyasu's hand.
The Legendary Shield's green orb glows as Yuya opens his eyes revealing the skin around his eyes cracked and having a combination of crimson red, grey, blueish-green, and purple color in both eyes.
We get a bird's eye-view of Castle Town as we pan across the main castle of Melromarc.
We cut to Yuya covering his eyes with his Shield as Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all stand behind him with Yugo grinning happily, Yuto is giving a smirk, and Yuri just rolls his eyes as they all look out on top of a cliff.
Yuya, along with Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri are walking along side a bridge. We then transition to Raphtalia as she walks pasts cell bars. She runs towards the bars and reaches a hand out, like she was trying to find someone to help her escape.
We cut to Ren landing, before getting back up and striking a pose as Starving Venom Fusion Dragon appears behind Ren with Ren's party members.
We cut again to Itsuki entering a dive roll before pulling back an arrow as Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon appears and is charging in the same direction as the bow alongside Itsuki's party members.
We cut again to Motoyasu running along as Myne runs past him, he stops and strikes a pose as Clear Wing Synchro Dragon appears high above and is looking down at the reader with Motoyasu's party members appearing on both his left and right side.
We cut one more time to Yuya as Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all surround Yuya as Yugo gives him a noogie, Yuto just has an arm on his shoulder and a warm smile, while Yuto is just slightly far away from them with a smirk on his face as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon runs towards Yuya as he smiles and jumps up and rides on the back of his Ace Pendulum Monster.
We cut to Myne leaning against the Throne with King Aultcray sitting in his throne. Myne smiles evilly as she grabs the camera before cutting to Yuya walking away.
We cut to Yuya falling down some stairs as he slams his back against some cell bars.
Raphtalia's Slave Crest begins to glow purple gaining both her and Yuya's attention.
We cut to a massive and ornate gold with red crystals hourglass as sands falls between each of the hourglasses glass, but when the last one fell a powerful and massive golden light was emitted from the hourglass.
We cut to a hoard of viscous monsters as the sky turns a frightening blood red color as swirls appear above the clouds.
A female figure appears standing on top of the mast of a boat, looking down watching and analyzing the Heroes.
Yuya and Raphtalia both reach out between the bars to try and grab each other. We catch a glimpse of the Legendary Shield's Skill tree.
The cells keeping Yuya and Raphtalia apart breaks as Raphtalia suddenly ages up, despite Yuya not aging a single bit.
Ren slices a monster in half with the help of his Sword, his Party Members, and Yuri's Predaplants, who were consuming weaker monsters left to right.
Itsuki dodges a volley of arrows as he runs up a cliff with the help of Yuto's Phantom Knights and Itsuki's party members acting as covering fire to help support him as he fires arrows at multiple opposing monsters.
Motoyasu leaps into the air as he uses the Legendary Spear to stab a series of monsters before he lands on top of Hi-Speedroid Clear Wing Rider and drives off to kill more monsters with Myne, his party members, and Yugo's Speedroids.
We cut Erhard, Beloukas, and many other people we have never even met yet in Melromarc as a cloak figure watches from behind and in the shadow, there was a sudden golden light that emanated from around his torso.
Before we cut to 2 women who look of royalty, a young girl with blue hair tied in pigtails and an older woman with purple hair who's face looks suspiciously like Myne's but at the same time isn't. Behind them are a series of people wearing Domino masks and black hoods.
We cut to Raphtalia pulling a sword out as Yuya holds back a monster as his Performapals who help both him and Raphtalia out-maneuver many monsters attacks or even lower or switch their opponents stats or strengthen their own, as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon bites down on a monster that was about to attack it's master from behind. Yuya and Raphtalia's teamwork is working amazingly well, covering each other's weaknesses and using each other's strength to help one another. We can even see what can only be seen as large animal gladiators fighting alongside the Performapals, Yuya, Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
Yuya blocks another monster's attack as a little girl with blonde hair and wings rushes out into the battlefield, she flies up and transforms into a large bird and takes down a series of monsters with wind attacks and kicks.
A hand opens up a fan and unleashes a series of attacks at Yuya, the bird, and Raphtalia as Yuya pulls his shield up to block the attacks.
As Yuya lowers it slightly to look, he transforms his shield into [Odd-Eyes (Pen.) Dragon Shield] as he and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, both unleash a devastating combined "Spiral Flame Strike" attack together at both the floating woman with fans and the wave of monsters at once.
The screen goes white as we slowly cut back to Yuya, Yugo, Yuri, and Yuto walking along a path as Raphtalia walks way behind them.
They all look behind them, except Yuri, and motion for her to pick up the pace and join them. She smiles happily and runs to give Yuya a hug, who graciously takes it, before quickly cutting back to Raphtalia holding onto Yuya's arm as he has tears forming in his eyes.
Yuto, Yugo, Yuri all appear behind Yuya as they, Raphtalia, and the large bird hold onto him as Yuya unleashes a more stronger variant of [Spiral Flame Strike] at his opponent.
We see the title, which has the Legendary Weapons at the NorthEast, NorthWest, SouthEast, and SouthWest corners with the Four Dimensional Dragons surrounding the North, East, South and West directions.
"YUYA SAKAKI, RISE OF THE DUELIST SHEILD HERO(S)"
Where we last left off...
Yuya looked at Raphtalia and slowly gave her a smile and failed to hold back tears in his eyes, happy to see she has conquered her fear of Blood.
Yuya recalled two days ago when he first looked her in the eyes. That she looked like she had given up on everything. She looked like she was waiting to die..., but in such a short time she'd changed her mind. She was willing to keep on living.
That was also when he realized a terrifying truth about this world.
'This isn't a game, this is reality.' Yuya realized in his thoughts as he looked at Raphtalia.
He then had a sudden and terrifying thought enter his mind, that Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri also picked up on.
He had to be careful about what he does, every person he talks to, every monster he kills off, this world, every decision he makes here... while seeming like a video game to him, everything he will or can do here, will have permanent repercussions that can't be reseted like a save file in a game.
He then also remembered that Motoyasu, Ren, and Itsuki all still thought that this was still a game from their world like he also thought on the first night here, he also realized that if those Cardinal Idiots do something stupid like kill someone, then that person was dead. Plain and simple.
'We have to live, there's nothing we can do but fight for our survival.' Yuya thought with a determined tone in his mind.
Yuya then looked back at Raphtalia, and realizing that they are both covered in blood, he decides.
"Come on. Let's get cleaned, then we'll cut these monsters up for this Shield and for Monster parts, alright?" Yuya tells Raphtalia. "Hey, are... are you okay?" He asks her, gaining her attention.
Raphtalia let out a soft yelp, before nodding her head and quickly following Yuya to a river.
After a couple of minutes, Raphtalia and Yuya went to a nearby River to clean up, Raphtalia used her knife to carve the PikyuPikyu and Usapil into parts for Yuya's Shield to absorb as well as to sell any leftovers they may have left.
Yuya had unlocked four new shields from the kills.
The first and fourth shield was like the Balloon Series Shield and Mush Series Shield's, that being a shield with an Usapil's face and a PikyuPikyu's face with yellow feather with pink tips on the sides. The 2nd Shield looked like a shield made of meat in the form of the first shield, but with no face. The 3rd shield looked like a shield made of bones in the form of the first and 2nd shield.

Yugo let out a chortle from the name of the Shield's equip bonus.

Yuya also looked at his and Raphtalia's stats and saw that they were now both at Level 6.
Erhard's Shop, Castle Town...
After a couple of minutes, Yuya and Raphtalia, haven cleaned themselves up off the blood that was on them, returned to Castle Town and headed on over to Erhard's shop to gain some new gear.
They entered the shop, Yuya greeted Erhard with a smile and a firm handshake.
"So what do you two need, huh?" Erhard asked Yuya and Raphtalia why they were here.
Yuya placed a small bag of copper and silver coins onto the table in front of Erhard. Raphtalia carried a large backpack and stood next to Yuya.
"What kind of weapons can we get for this?" Yuya asked the Blacksmith. Wanting to know what kind of weapons he could get for Raphtalia.
Erhard gave a warm smile, and turned his head towards Raphtalia, seeing how well she looks, now that she is under the care of Yuya Sakaki.
"Well... The time has come to get the little miss a real sword then, huh?" Erhard asks Yuya looking at the young Demi-Human. "I'll see what I can find." He said walking to his box of blades that are in Yuya's price range.
"One on the short side's a good place to start." Erhard comments to himself out-loud. He then pulls a short sword that looked more like a toy sword in it's leather sheath.
"Here's a nice little item. A pre-owned iron short sword." Erhard tells the 4-in-1 Heroes and Raphtalia, bringing the blade to the counter, and pulling the weapon out of it's sheath.
Yuri inspected the blade, looking at the craftsmanship of the weapon that was shown to all 5 of them. He then thinks about them heading on over to a nearby town to earn some more money and Exp.
"Hmm, with our current equipment, we'll need to head on over to a town or village that can offer us some quests or deal with any monsters to Level us up or gain more money." Yuri suggested to the party.
"Listen, Erhard, is there a town or village nearby we can travel to with our current equipment that we have?" Yuya asked Erhard, phrasing it like it sounded like he was talking about Him and Raphtalia.
"With all your stuff? The only place that comes to mind would be Lute Village." Erhard responded to Yuya, Raphtalia was testing her new short sword out. "It's a 2 day journey on foot if you go along the road."
"Hey didn't those kids we saved yesterday mention they would be heading to Lute Village to live with their aunt?" Yugo asked, remembering the kids that Yuya saved with the help of Performapal Handsamuraiger.
'I believe so.' Yuya mentally responded to Yugo. 'We can see how they are doing once we're done if we meet them.'
"Great, then that's where we'll be heading to next." Yuya thanked Erhard. "Come on, Raphtalia." He called out, gaining her attention.
"Coming, Yuya-Sama!" Raphtalia called out and quickly followed Yuya as the two/five of them left Erhard's shop, having already paid for the weapon.
"Hehehe." Erhard lightly chuckled. "Those two are going to make a cute pair soon." He says to himself watching the two leave his store and were now heading to Lute Village.
Lute Village...
Over the next 3 days, Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Yuri, and Raphtalia traveled all the way over to the Lute Village, it would have been a day or two, if Yuya had summoned one of his Performapals or used the main roads/trail, but he avoided them just in case. When they arrived, Yuya saw that the village was near a forest, west of a swamp and north to some mountains. The Village itself appears to be a relatively small village with only one Inn and is mostly surrounded by farmlands.
They entered through the city gates and were now seen talking with a simple Street Merchant so that they could sell the leftover monster parts, selling the meats to the Inn, and Monster parts to Merchants.
"So how much is all of this?" Yuya asked The Street Merchant, fixing his backpack back onto his shoulder.
The Street Merchant inspected the Usapil leather in his hands, and gave a thoughtful hum.
"I'd say... about two silvers, give or take a copper." The Street Merchant guessed the price of the leather.
"Really? That much, huh?" Yuya said surprised by how much the Usapil Leather sold. "And the PikyuPikyu feather's?"
"About the same as well, seems to have been a juvenile judging by how bright the feathers are." The Street Merchant tells him. "If it was an adult or even an elder, it would have been at least 4 silvers, at best."
"Hey, do you know of any spots here that are nearby where we can earn a lot of money?" Yuya asks the Street Merchant.
"Hmm..." The Street Merchant hums looking back at the mine. The Four Dimensional Reincarnations and Raphtalia followed his line of sight. "Well, now that you mention it, the ore coming out of the mines outside the walls oughta fetch a decent amount..."
"I'm sensing a but..." Yuto said looking back at the Merchant, knowing it couldn't be simple. Hey, when you try to survive a MultiDimensional Invasion, you have to keep your wits up every day.
"But..." The Street Merchant says, knowing that this guy may have a difficult time even with the Demi-Human girl help.
"Called it." Yuto says with an unamused look on his face.
"But what? What's the catch?" Yuya asks, curious what was wrong.
"Ever since the First Wave hit, it has became home to a bunch of dangerous monsters. These days nobody even dares themselves to go near the place." The Street Merchant informs them.
"Monsters, huh?" Yuya said, realizing that if there are any monsters in the cave, then that means that he and Raphtalia could get some experience from them. But that also gave Yuya another thought, why wasn't there any knights guarding, or better yet, clearing the cave of these monsters.
"If we were to clear the mine of these monsters, how much would we get paid?" Yuya asked the Street Merchant.
"70 silvers in total." The Street Merchant answers Yuya's question. "I don't know what our summoned "heroes" are doing right now, but if you ask me, it isn't much." The Street Merchant voices his complaint on how the Heroes weren't helping them clear the mines of monsters.
Yuya was thankful that Lute Village didn't realize he was the Shield Hero, he thanked any kind-hearted deity of his world graciously.
"I can agree to that." Yuya agreed with the Street Merchant, looking back out to the mines. "Come on, Raphtalia. Let's go." He says to her as they both leave, heading off to the mines.
At the Mines, Lute Village...
After Yuya received the money from the Street Merchant, the former thanked the latter for his help as he and Raphtalia made their way over to the mines to collect some ore and Exp.
The two arrived at a small mining house next to the entrance of the mine. Raphtalia waited outside as Yuya entered the building, hoping to get some new shields.
Yuya had absorbed some rope, a pickax's, and a whetstone that was inside the building into his shield.

"Exclusive effects and skills, huh?" Yuri said intrigued by what he saw.
Yuya lifted his shield arm up, and focused his mind on [Rope Shield], the shield's orb glowed green and changed shape now looking like a shield in the shape of a curled-up rope.
"That's pretty boring, A Rope Shield? I was expecting it to look cooler." Yuya said, the green orb glowed a dark green before electrocuting Yuya.
A help notification appeared before Yuya.
[Help]
["Skill: Can be activated at the cost of your SP. Can also be quick cast by shortening pronounciation or using crystals."]
"All right. Let's see what this baby can do." Yuya said before standing back up and aiming his arm. He took a deep breath to calm himself down, and closed his eyes.
"AIR STRIKE SHIELD!" Yuya announced his ability, opening his eyes as his left eye glowed blue and his right eye glowed red.
A green aura glowed around Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri before a massive green shield the size of their whole body appeared, on the front of the green shield, decorating it's front on the lower right, lower left, and lower center was the 3 other Dimensional Dragons. Starving Venom was on the right, Clear Wing was on the left and Dark Rebellion was at the bottom middle. At the top was Odd-Eyes facing forwards. Yuya let out a gasp of shock and awe, at seeing both the shield and what was on it.
"Anything wrong, sir?" Raphtalia asked, wondering if something was wrong with Yuya-sama. She was very curious about the shield's design as it had four Dragons that looked very similar to one another, but at the same time looked very different, like Yuya-sama, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri.
"I-It's nothing, Raphtalia." Yuya stutters as Air Strike Shield de-manifests. "Come on, let's go inside that mine." He says with a smile, as he picks up a pickax.
Inside the Mine...
After making sure they had everything they need, Yuya and Raphtalia, alongside Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri, all entered into the mine to collect some ore and clear out the mine of any leftover monsters from the First Wave.
Yuya carried a torch and lead the way with Raphtalia and the former's 3 other counterparts behind him. Raphtalia was carrying a pickax while Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri followed behind, making sure that they covered everyone's side in case a monster attacks.
"Let's make sure we are clear, if there are any monsters in here, the moment things go south, we run. And if you can't keep up, I'll carry you to safety." Yuya tells Raphtalia.
"Okay, Yuya-sama." Raphtalia said in agreement. She then noticed she was falling behind and quickly caught up to Yuya-Sama, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri.
Yuya couldn't help but admit it, her calling him Yuya-sama was slowly growing on him.
The journey inside the mines was a quiet one, but their travels wouldn't take too long as they arrived at a large cavern.
As they kept going further they made their way into a large cavern with a waterfall. The minecart rails were torn from the floor. It had several large cliff faces and clear water at the bottom.
"Looks like this is the place." Yuya said with a smile as he swapped his shield to the [Pickax Shield], which looked like a circular shield with two pickaxes on both the left and right sides with the green orb in the middle.
The two headed over to a spot to start mining as Raphtalia handed Yuya her pickax as he started to get to work mining some ore for them to sell off. A green triangle appeared above one of the ores, indicating Yuya to mine there.
"Okay." Yuya said, happy that they found some ore. He ready his pickax to strike again and kept at it. Raphtalia watched as Yuya mined the ore.
She then looked off to her left and noticed something odd.
"Hm?" Raphtalia curiously hummed as she looked.
It appeared to be a set of muddy paw-prints leading off to somewhere else.
"Footprints?" Raphtalia curiously questioned, wondering what creature could these footprints belong too. So, she followed their path, making sure not to stray too far from Yuya-sama.
After a couple of minutes of mining, Yuya picked up the ore and smiled thinking that this wasn't so hard.
"All right! Finally!" Yugo cheered themselves.
"This may not be so tough after all." Yuya said, not knowing he had just jinxed themselves by saying that. "Hey, Raphtalia, let's try going a little further--"
He turned to look at Raphtalia, with Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri doing the same, but as they did, they saw Raphtalia on her rear slowly backing away her eyes and posture had immediately set him on edge as he seen that look on her face.

...
It was fear.
"Grrrrrrrr..." Something growled right behind them, Yuya and his counterparts quickly turned around and saw something walking out with 4 glowing red eyes on two heads and bared razor-sharp teeth at them.
Steeping out of it's den-like cave tunnel was a massive, blackish-gray, two-headed dog whose heads reminded Yuya of a Rottweiler dog. It appeared to be just as tall as his friend, Gong, back home.
Yuya quickly used the [Inspect] ability at the Two-Headed Black Dog.

Not much is known about this interdimensional beast, but what is known is that it's considered to be a relative of the Interdimensional Three-Headed Hound, known as a Cerberus.
Yuya was terrified. He and Raphtalia had made amazing progress, but they were both just level 6. This thing was at least three times their own level combined. Yuya was able to beat it in terms of physical defense and magical defense by a bit. But it still had a tad more health then theirs, and it's attack stat was truly massive. That thing's 189 attack versus his own 160 defense... With jaws that big... the damn mutt could probably tear off his own arm.
Raphtalia's heart was thumping with fear, the Orthrus in front of her reminded her of immensely of the Cerberus that killed her parents, sure they didn't look nothing a like but it was clear to anyone watching her that she didn't just have Hemophobia, but also Cynophobia, the overwhelming fear of dogs.
"no. no. no. no." Raphtalia muttered in fear as the Orthrus slowly stepped forwards to her.
The Two-Headed Hound knew that it should attack Raphtalia as she was the weakest of the two here, due to being the youngest. It just wanted to toy with her, make her feel hopeless before it eats her alive like those before who couldn't keep up with their fellow miners.
"NOOOOOOO!!!!" Raphtalia screamed in terror.
And that was the initiative to start it off, The Orthrus's red eyes on both of it's two heads widen, before it quickly lunged out to attack her.
"RAPHTHALIA! NO!" Yuya screamed, his pendant and Deck glowed brightly as a familiar roar was heard, but Yuya didn't seem to hear it as he quickly changed his [Pickax Shield] into his [Duel Disk (Crimson) Shield] and drew two cards from his Deck, and quickly placed both of them on his shield's blade, but in two different areas and activating the card he set in the back row.
Just as the Two-Headed hounds reached Raphtalia, she closed her eyes awaiting death, but suddenly, out of nowhere, the Orthrus was suddenly bodied away from Raphtalia by a even larger creature.
After a couple of seconds, Raphtalia slowly opened her eyes, thinking that the Two-Headed Black Dog was standing over her, toying with her emotion of hope and relief. But when she did open her eyes, she was greeted by something that made her look on in shocked awe.
Because standing in-front of her, was a massive creature that was even taller than the Orthrus in front of her. The creature stood up on two massive and muscular legs with large 4-digit toes. It's skin, from what she could see, was a dark scarlet color and it's head, neck, arms, back, legs, feet, and tail were covered in red armor as it's calves, stomach, fingers, jaw were covered in whiteish peach armor along with it's two horns on it's head that had an orange glow inside them and it's two large spike-like wings on the creatures' back, which had 2 green orbs on it's right "wing" and 1 larger red orb on it's left "wing. It's face was covered by half a golden mask covering it's upper mouth and it's right side. It's claws on it's 5-digit hands were gold. At it's center was a massive blue orb inside the white armor on it's stomach. It's legs, once again, were large and massive, likely built for running long distances in a short amount of time. The most strangest thing about this creature, which Raphtalia assumed was a Dragon, was it's Odd eyes, it had a green left eye, a red right eye and at the center of it's forehead was a small blue orb.
"ROOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRR!!!!" The Odd Eyes Dragon let out a bellowing roar. Raphtalia covered her Tanuki ears from the loud roar.

Before she could even wonder where the Dragon had came from without her hearing it, she and the Dragon hears the Two-Headed Black Dog getting up and growling at the heterochromiatic dragon.
She was suddenly picked up by Yuya-Sama and is now standing behind him, with the two of them now having been placed right next to the Dragon with Odd eyes, with the Dragon acting as a protective shield from the Orthrus. She also saw Yuya-sama having swapped his shield to another shield which has a card with the picture of the same dragon protecting them on it and another pinkish card with a picture of a black, red, and gold Magician leaving a pillar of light as a white, blue, and purple Magician staying inside the pillar of light.
Raphtalia quickly realized that this Dragon was another one of many of Yuya-sama's monsters that he could summon, but for some reason she could tell that this Dragon was different than the others, like it and Yuya have a much more closer and deeper relation than the others.
You see, Yuya had placed his Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon in the Pendulum Zone as well as the Continuous Quick-Play Trap Pendulum Switch, which allowed him to swap a Pendulum Monster in the Pendulum Zone onto the field and vice-versa, but since he couldn't activate the Trap Card the turn he set the trap, he had to willingly let the Orthrus try to attack Raphtalia after he ended his turn so he could activate the card to do so.
Yuya looked at Orthrus, then behind him, he sees that they are right behind a cliff leading off into a large lake that is deep enough for them to survive. He looks back at the Two-Headed Hound before he quietly whispers to Raphtalia.
"Get on Odd-Eyes back, quietly." Yuya quietly tells her, she slowly nods and Yuya helps her get up onto Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's back.
He then follows and gets himself behind Raphtalia so that what he and his Dimensional Dragon does nexts will assure him that she will not fly off. Yuya grips onto the front horns of his Ace Dragon, his eyes never leaving Orthrus's two heads as it kept growling at them and pacing back and forth, with Odd-Eyes making sure that it doesn't get to it's Duelist or his companion.
"Hold on to something." Yuya whispers to Raphtalia.
"H-huh?" Raphtalia said confused, before doing as Yuya-sama told her gripping onto Odd-Eyes' neck tightly.
Yuya then turned Odd-Eyes horns hard right, causing the Ace Pendulum Dragon to turn right as Yuya kicks his heels against Odd-Eyes sides like a horse, making the Dragon run and jump off the ledge and into the water.
"AAAAAAAHHHHH!!!" Raphtalia screamed as she, Yuya-Sama, and Odd-Eyes, along with Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri, all jumped off of the cliff and were falling towards the water below.
Raphtalia turned her head around and her eyes shrunk in fear of another memory as the two fell, reminding her of how she had ended up in a situation like this before her parents sacrificed themselves to keep her alive.
The Two-Headed Hound watched as the Human, The Demi-Human, and the Red Dragon fell off the cliff, and looked around, trying to find a quicker way down to catch up with them.
Yuya held Raphtalia close as he told her to hold her breaths and shut her eyes as Odd-Eyes was quickly approaching the water. The two of them held their breaths and closed their eyes and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon splashed right into the water, making a massive...

After at least 10 seconds of nothing happening, Odd-Eyes suddenly resurfaced with Yuya and Raphtalia heavily breathing, gasping for fresh air.
Yuya looked back up and saw the Orthrus leave the cliff, but he knew that it would return eventually, and judging by how fast it nearly closed the distance between Raphtalia and itself, that wasn't going to take long.
But first, Yuya had to make sure Raphtalia was okay even if she was trembling in fear.
"Raphtalia, are you okay?" Yuya asked, worried for her as he sees her trembling in fear.
"Dog... Dog Monster... It killed all the villagers-- even my mom and dad." Raphtalia revealed in a frightened tone to Yuya.
"It was during the First Wave, huh?" Yuya slowly guessed, he voice starting to sound full of pity and sorrow for the girl.
"Grrrr..." The Two-Headed Black Dog growled as it sniffed, trying to track down Yuya's and Raphtalia's scent. Raphtalia let out a silent gasp of fear, Yuya quickly covered her mouth and silently told her to be quiet. She nodded in understanding, but still trembled in fear.
Yuya quietly directed for Odd-Eyes to swim onto land, telling him to make sure to move slowly and quietly as possible. The dragon quietly growled in agreement and slowly swam towards land.
"Raphtalia, I want you to tell me what happened, before I bought you, before you became a slave. Tell me everything." Yuya said, using the same voice Raphtalia felt comforted by, but she had yet to build an immunity to it.
"I lived in a small village by the sea. It was mostly demi-humans, but there were some humans as well. Our Lord Seaetto, was a human. The village was here, in Melromarc... and Melromarc doesn't treat us kindly at all, but in our village, we were fine and Lord Seaetto kept us safe... Then the First Wave hit us." Small tears fell, but her voice stayed about the same. Yuya stayed silent as he listened to her tale.
"Lord Seaetto came riding in to save us. He killed a lot of monsters, but there was so many and... He died, though I didn't see it. My mother and father took me and tried to flee... This crazy three-headed dog monster chased us to the cliff. My parents threw me into the ocean and I saw it".
"You saw what?" He quietly asked, he winced kneeing this probably brought back bad memories.
"I saw it... I saw it rip them to shreds as my parents threw me into the ocean." Raphtalia told, her face now drowning in her tears. "They died before I had even hit the water."
'That's why she cries every night, she's not only an orphan, but she also witnessed her own parents be killed .' Yuya theorized, his thoughts reaching out to Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri. Yuya, Yuto, and Yugo felt great pity for Raphtalia, Yuri also felt the same amount of pity but he hide it well.
They both sat quietly for a moment before she continued, "Afterwards... We tried to rebuild. We wanted to show that we survived and could still be happy. About a week later, knights of the capital showed up..."
"What good does it do to show up a week AFTER the wave?" Yuya questioned why Melromarc's knight showed up after the wave hit and not before.
"They were the ones that made us slaves..."
Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri were all enraged now, and apparently so was Odd-Eyes from how dark and how low it's growls was now.
'Those damned knights can enslave little girls, but couldn't kill a monster a day's ride away from the capital!? No. That damned trash king tells them what to do. That piece of shit!' Yuya thought in his mind, enraged by King Aultcray XXXII decision to do this.
Raphtalia kept silently weeping until Yuya took her into his arms.
'We aren't just both slaves, we share an enemy as well...' He held her until she stopped crying. They sat quietly there on Odd-Eyes back for a while.
Once they had reached land, Yuya, Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon hide behind a large rock that was conveniently the same size and shape as Odd-Eyes.
But the Two-Headed Orthrus had pick up their scent and was now heading towards the three of them, slowly but surely.
"Listen to me, Raphtalia. We will take that thing out right here and now." Yuya tells her, placing himself and Odd-Eyes in front of her.
"Huh?" Raphtalia questioned what Yuya meant.
"If we fight it, we both can become stronger, and we'll fend of the Waves of Catasrophe and make sure that tragedy never happens again." Yuya tells her as he and his dragon prepare to attack.
"I know this may sound harsh, but your parents aren't coming back. I'm sorry. But we can prevent other kids from going through what you experienced." Yuya tells her with determination and confidence in her.
"You can do it! And what I'm capable of doing is making sure you have the skills to fight as best as you can!" Yuya shouted as he and Odd-Eyes charge out from behind their hiding spot and towards Orthrus.
The Two-Headed Hound lunged it's whole body at Yuya, but he blocked the attack, unfortunately, it's heads were not blocked so it's second head bite down on Yuya's shoulder, drawing massive amounts of blood. Odd-Eyes charged in and smacked Orthrus away with it's tail, releasing it's jaws from Yuya's shoulder in the process.
The Orthrus quickly recovered and attacked again, Yuya quickly blocked, but since he could only block one of it's head or bite down on him again, this time making sure to tighten it's hold on him. Odd-Eyes tried to push the two-headed beast off of his Duelist, but the Two-Headed Hound just wouldn't budge like last time.
"RAPHTALIA! YOU GOTTA KILL IT!" Yuya shouted to her, grunting as he felt it's sharp teeth pierce his flesh. "GRAB YOUR SWORD AND KILL THIS THING!"
"I-I can't..." Raphtalia whimpered in fear.
Large amounts of blood spilled out from Yuya's shoulder as Raphtalia screams in fear and Odd-Eyes tries it's hardest to push this monster off of it's master.
"If I die, you'll die too!" Yuya said, he knew he shouldn't say that, but he could see that Odd-Eyes was having a harder time trying to get Orthrus off of him and his strength was starting to dwindle, but he needed Raphtalia to face her fears once again.
"Please, no!" Raphtalia shouted in fear, she liked how generous Yuya-sama was to her after he bought her. She couldn't just let him die.
"Then hurry up and kill it!" Yuya shouted. He then, in a final act of desperation for their survival, activated her Slave Crest. "THAT IS AN ORDER!"
Raphtalia's Slave Crest let out a powerful shock of purple electricity, causing massive pain to the girl as tears fell from her eyes and caused her to scream out in unholy pain.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!" Raphtalia screamed out in utter unholy pain and fell onto her knees, she curled herself up in a ball, knowing that it won't do much.
Raphtalia looked back up at Yuya-sama, and imagine that both of her parents were being killed by the Interdimensional Cerberus back in her village during the First Wave of Catastrophe. Tears covered her cheeks as she weakly held her sword in her hands.
She took a step back as her Slave Crest continued on electrocuting her relentlessly.
Yuya saw this and grunted, before he came up with another plan, this one would at the very least assure her survival.
"All right then, just forget it." Yuya says, this caused Raphtalia's Slave Crest to seize it's electrocution of her.
Raphtalia let out a gasp of shock from what she heard as she looked at Master Yuya-sama wondering what he was doing right now.
"If you won't fight, then just get the hell out of here as fast as you can." Yuya tells her to just run.
"But what will you do, Master?" Raphtalia asked, afraid she wouldn't like the answer.
"We'll buy you enough time to escape this place." Yuya grunted and tells her.
"W-What?" Raphtalia said as tears started to leak from her eyes, remembering that this will just result in his death like her parents. "Then that'd be just... just like my parents..."
"Go! Run!" Yuya tells her to leave him. He might not be able to save many lives here, but he can save one.
"Master, I can't!" Raphtalia says not wanting to leave him to die.
More blood spills out from his shoulder as the Two-Headed Hound bits down harder, causing the Pendulum Duelist to fall onto one knee.
"I-I can't do this." Raphtalia said as she remembers every kind thing he had done for her. He bought her food, clothes, comforted her when she made mistakes, and gave her hope, when she had none.
"No!" Raphtalia shouted as she sees her parents figures leave her, both with smiles on their faces, before turning around hand-in-hand into the darkness before fading into nothingness.
She then imagines Yuya-sama doing the same thing to her. She tries to chase after him, not wanting him to leave her like her parents did.
"Don't leave me! Don't leave me, please, no!" She cries out tears pouring from her eyes.
She then ready's her sword, her eyes full of a teary determined look. And just like that,

She takes a step forward.
Raphtalia leaps off of the rock that Yuya-Sama, Odd-Eyes, and herself were on that the Dragon took them to, and jumps up high into the air and come down with her sword aiming for the head biting Yuya's shoulder.
"NOOOOOOOO!!!" Raphtalia screams as she plunges her sword into the second head of the Orthrus' eye.
"GRRAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!" The Second Head of the Orthrus howls in pain as it immediately let's go of Yuya's shoulder to howl in pain at the lost of it's eye.
Raphtalia was launched a couple of feet away after she had stabbed the Two-Headed Hound in the eye. The beast then turns it's attention to Raphtalia, focus on getting it's revenge.
"AIR STRIKE SHIELD!" Yuya shouted having swapped his shield to [Rope Shield], Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon stayed even after he swapped his shields.
The green shield appeared in front of Raphtalia blocking the attack by the Two-Headed Hound.
"NOW, RAPHTALIA!" Yuya shouted for her to attack now.
"HHHHYYYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!!" Raphtalia shouted as she attacked and stabbed the beast in-between the Two-Headed Hound's neck and at the center of it's chest.
And due to Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon Party Member effect, her damage was doubled.
Large amounts of blood poured out of the Orthrus as it let a painful howl and fell to the floor. Odd-Eyes walked over to the two-headed beast, before growling at the creature, lifted it's leg up and put it on top of the hound's chest before applying all of it's weight onto the Orthrus, breaking it's rib cage and puncturing it's lungs and heart for extra measure.
Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon let out a mighty victorious roar, letting all the monsters in the cave that could hear it's roar know that if they try to attack it's Duelist or his companion, they too will receive the same results as the Orthrus.
Raphtalia was heavily breathing, her eyes full of shock as she just sat there. Yuya switched his shield back to it's duel disk form.
"Thank you, Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon." Yuya thanked his Ace Monster for his help in saving them. "You deserve some rest right now."
The Dragon turned to Yuya and gave a nod of his head as Yuya removed Pendulum Switch and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon from his shield's blade and put them back into his Deck.
Yuya then turned to Raphtalia. "Nice job, Raphtalia." He says to her with a warm and happy smile on his face.
A notification appeared in Yuya's vision revealing how much EXP they had just earned. Raphtalia earned [430 Exp] and he earned [340 Exp], both leveling up to level up a ton.
Raphtalia couldn't help but let the tears of comforted joy come out as she ran over to Yuya-sama. "MASTER! YUYA!" She cried out and lept at him, wanting a much-needed hug from him.
Yuya winced in pain as she hugged him, apparently her hand grazed the shoulder that the Orthrus bite him. "Careful! Ow!" Yuya winced in pain as Raphtalia hugged him. "Even with this shield's high Defense power, this wound still hurts." He tells her, her body shaked as she kept hugging him.
"Promise me you won't ever die! Don't leave me alone, Master Yuya--please!" Raphtalia cried out.
Yuya just gives a comforting smile and places a gentle hand on her head, reassuring her that he won't leave her.
"As long as you are my sword, then I swear that I shall always be your shield." Yuya tells her. "That way, neither one of us will have to worry about the other dying. All right?" He tells her, not as a question, but as an answer.
"All right." Raphtalia agreed to Yuya's answer.
"We'll get out of here once I feed this monster to my shield, okay?" Yuya tells her if that was all right with her.
"Okay, Master Yuya-sama." Raphtalia agreed as she kept hugging him.
"Come on, let's get up." Yuya says to Raphtalia in a gentle tone.
"A little longer?" Raphtalia pleads to him.
"All right, just for 3 minutes, okay?" Yuya asks her if that was all right.
She nods her head.
It was quiet within the caves for 3 minutes, but after Raphtalia was feeling better, the two made their way to cut up the monster that they just killed and Yuya absorbed both the monster and an ore into his shield.

What did Ren, Itsuki, and Motoyasu do after Yuya left the Castle in Chapter 1?...
Yuya then looks at Myne with rage and anger. "This is what you wanted, right?" Yuya angrily tells Myne. "THEN SHOVE IT UP YOUR ASS!" He shouts tossing his 6 silver coins at Myne.
Motoyasu growled before rushing towards Yuya. "HEY, WAIT ONE SECOND!" He shouts before grabbing onto Yuya's arm.
But Yuya does nothing but glare at Motoyasu in anger.
"I'm the weak one remember? I don't have a single second to waste." Yuya told Motoyasu, before leaving the castle.
The Throne Room was silent now, but after King Aultcray XXXII was told that the Shield Hero was out of the Castle Gates and that they were now closed, he looked at at The Spear Hero, Sword Hero, and Shield Hero, who after a couple of minutes were looking at their new weapon forms.
"So how do these things work, exactly?" Motoyasu asked Ren and Itsuki about how these things work. He was looking at his [Duel Disk (White) Spear] and tried to touch the spear's duel disk blade, only for his hand to go through it.
"I don't know, but I believe it would be unwise to use their power in the Throne Room." Itsuki said looking over his [Duel Disk (Black) Bow].
"Do you have an open area where we could use these new forms?" Ren asked the King wanting to test his [Duel Disk (Purple) Sword].
"Yes, we can arrange for you three Heroes to use them for the time being. Until then, you three will have to keep a close eye on the Shield Hero." King Aultcray XXXII told the three heroes. "I can send someone to direct you to the place."
"Yes, your Highness." Ren, Itsuki, and Motoyasu said as they all bowed to King Aultcray in respect, they transformed their weapons back into their base forms for the time being and looked over the Decks they had received from Myne.
Itsuki had received a Xyz-based Deck known as "The Phantom Knights".
Motoyasu had received a Synchro-based Deck known as the "Speedroid".
And Ren had received a Fusion-based Deck known as "Predaplants".
After a couple of minutes of waiting, A knight arrived and showed them the way to the training grounds, which had some knights training with their weapons.
"Alright, time to see what these bad boys can do." Motoyasu said with a smile wanting to test out his monsters out.
"I too would like to see what these Phantom Knights could do as well, Motoyasu." Itsuki agreed with Motoyasu.
Ren just nodded his head in a cool manner.
"So who going to go first, huh?" Rojeel asked the Three Cardinal Heroes, all three of them widen their eyes in shock as they hadn't decided who would go first.

"Rock. Paper. Scissors?" Motoyasu suggested. Ren and Itsuki agreed and started to play to see who would go first.
Itsuki lost after 3 ties to Motoyasu and 1 tie to Ren, Motoyasu lost to Ren after no ties. Ren was the first to go.
Ren walked up front, closed his eyes and took a deep breath.
"[DUEL DISK (PURPLE) SWORD]!!!" Ren shouted as his sword transformed into it's Duel Disk form.
Ren then drew a card from the Deck. He had in hand a Predaplant Chlamydosundew monster card.
"Come Forth! PREDAPLANT CHLAMYDOSUNDEW!" Ren shouted as he placed the monster onto his Sword's Duel Blade.
Rising up from the ground, tearing the stone apart and reforming it back it's original shape like nothing happened was a Frilled Lizard (Chlamydosaurus kingii), but it's frill looked like a Sundew plant, more specifically the Drosera sessilifolia (a species of Drosera that is native to Brazil, Guyana, and Venezuela). The "scales" of the lizard looked more like the leaves of a plant than scales. It has an orangish-brown underbelly and it's tail, toes, and legs are tipped in red orbs. It has 2 pairs of red eyes with 2 extra pairs of fake eyes behind the real ones on both sides and a long, thin pink tongue with a red orb at the tip.

The creature tilted it's head from side-to-side. Everyone in the training area who were looking at the Sword Hero using his new sword form, now we're looking at what he summoned in awe. Predaplant Chlamydosundew turned around to look at Ren and ran towards him on it's hind legs like animal it's part of does, everyone went on the offensive in case the lizard did something, even Ren went on the offensive.
But once the Frilled Plant Lizard slowed down and reached Ren, it walked on all fours and circled itself around his leg like a house cat before laying down and was now sunbathing on Ren's feet.
Ren just looked at the Plant Lizard with a raised eyebrow before sheathing his sword, now knowing it wasn't a threat and that it just wanted a place to rest and bask it's leaves in the sun.
"Return." Ren said, removing Predaplant Chlamydosundew's card from the Duel Disk Sword's blade, which caused the Frilled Plant Lizard to vanish like it never existed at all.
"That was so cool. Cute that it wanted to rest on your feet, but so cool." Motoyasu said with a smile. "My turn!"
"Come forth! [DUEL DISK (WHITE) SPEAR]!!!" Motoyasu shouted as his Spear transformed into it's Duel Disk form.
Motoyasu then drew a random card in the Deck and pulled out "Speedroid Red-Eye Dice".
"Come on out! RED-EYED DICE!" Motoyasu shouted as he placed the monster in his hand on the Spear's Duel Disk blade.
Rolling in from out of nowhere, is a golden six-sided dice with a pattern of a teary red eye with a light blue iris. On the edges of the golden dice there was light green edges. Circling the dice was 6 red orbs. Each side of the dice had a number of red circles inside light blue tear drops, those numbers being; 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6.

The dice floated around before stopping right in front of Motoyasu, where it's teary red eye with a light blue iris looked at Motoyasu. This freaked Motoyasu a bit, as well as many others in the area.
"Aah! Come back!" Motoyasu said in an unsettled tone by how the eye just kept looking at him. As he did so, Red-Eyed Dice disappeared like it wasn't just there moments ago.
"Heeegh." He shivered. "Creepy, but again, it looked awesome."
"I'm the last one to go then." Itsuki said as he had already changed his weapon to it's Duel Disk form. He looked over the Deck and had chosen "The Phantom Knights of Fragile Armor", to be the first one he would summon.
"THE PHANTOM KNIGHTS OF FRAGILE ARMOR!!!" Itsuki shouted as he placed the card onto the Bow's Duel Disk Blade.
Blue flames appeared throughout the open area and gathered themselves in one area, and once the blue flames all gathered they formed themselves into a humanoid shape, but with no head. Blackish-Blue knights armor with silver accents appeared out of nowhere and gathered themselves around the blue flames' feet, calves, thighs, torso, shoulders, forearms, and hands. Green torn leather of what can be assumed as a cloak or cape appeared and covered the armors back and waist.

The creature before Itsuki stood tall, before it got onto one knee and placed it's other fist down onto the stone floor in a knightly bow of honor.
"Rise up." Itsuki said to it, it stood back up and stood waiting for another order by it's Duelist. "You are dismissed." He tells it as he removes it's card from the Bow's Duel Disk blade.
The Phantom Knights of Fragile Armor de-manifest itself in front of everyone as it gave Itsuki one last salute before it vanished, with Itsuki returning the salute as well.
"How did you do that?" Ren asked, wondering how Itsuki was able to make his monster listen to him.
"Oh, I just gave it the respect it wanted." Itsuki admitted as he smiled. 'Truthfully, don't know how I did that.'
"Well, now that we know what these Duel Disk forms can do, let's head on out and Level up some more." Motoyasu said pulling Ren and Itsuki into a hug with a smile on his face.
"That is a wonderful idea, Sir Motoyasu." Myne says with a happy smile. "Surely, that Shield Hero would have some trouble gaining experience whilst we are leveling up."
The rest of Motoyasu's party agrees, except for Rino and Elena who smiled but stayed silent. So did the dark green hair girl in Itsuki's party who did the same.
"Your so smart." Motoyasu said with a lovey-dovey look in his eyes and an idiotic smile on his face. "All right, then. Let's head on out! See you guys later." He said waving Ren and Itsuki goodbye as he and his party left.
Ren and Itsuki also wave goodbye to Motoyasu as well.
"You guys go and get something for the travel, okay?" Itsuki told his party members, they all agreed and left.
"You as well. I don't want anyone falling behind so soon." Ren tells them as they gave a firm "Yes, Sir!" and left the Sword and Bow Hero to themselves.
After everyone left, Ren and Itsuki talked to one another.
"Something was up with Yuya, right?" Itsuki said looking at Ren.
"You're right. He said "Us" instead of "Me", like there was more than one of him." Ren said.
"Could it be he has Multiple Personality Disorder?" Itsuki suggested to Ren, apparently many of the common diseases and disorders are multiuniversal.
"No. The way he said it, seemed to me like he was talking like they were actually in that Throne Room with us, but we couldn't see them." Ren reaffirms his statement.
"Not to mention the fact he seemed more adamant about these Duel Disks, especially saying the disaster they could bring." He said looking at the Purple Duel Disk.
"Could he be telling the truth?" Itsuki asked Ren. He put a hand on his chin.
"Possibly, but what could be so dangerous that Yuya didn't want to fall into the wrong hands?" Ren asked.
Suddenly, out of no where, Ren and Itsuki both heard a draconic roar coming from their Duel Disk's Extra Deck as Ren's Deck glowed a violet color and Itsuki's a Gray color. The two Cardinal Heroes looked at each other, before cautiously opening the Extra Deck and they pulled out the card they heard the roar from.
The roaring continued as they kept looking through the Extra Deck until the roar suddenly stopped and the glowing ceased.
They both now held two distinct cards in their hands, both of them were Dragons. But there was a strange similarity to the two dragons, despite looking completely different from one another.
The Dragon in Ren's hand looked like serpentine dragon with long arms, legs and tails. It wore Violet-Red and Gold Armor on it's forest green body.
And the Dragon in Itsuki's hand looked like a sleek bipedal purple dragon wearing white and black armor with red and teal highlights.
The blue and yellow orbs of their Legendary Weapons glowed brightly as did the Dragons once again. Like it was calling out to them to scan them like the Duel Disks.
Ren, cautiously but curiously placed his Fusion Monster's card art on top of the Legendary Sword's blue orb as a blue light began to scan the card in his hand.
Itsuki did the same and placed his Xyz Monster's card art on top of the Legendary Bow's yellow orb as a yellow light began to scan the card in his hand.

With Motoyasu...
Motoyasu was enjoying his day as Myne bought more and more expensive armor, as Elena, Reno, and the Fighter girl all had to try and lower the price down to be acceptable for them.
But as Motoyasu was looking at the collection of spears he could scan all by himself in the room alone, he heard a roar coming from the white Duel Disk's Extra Deck as it glowed a bright white color.
Curiously, Motoyasu looked through the Extra Deck, through all the Synchro Monsters that the Deck held and spotted a strange looking Synchro Monster that he stopped at when the roaring also stopped. It was a gorgeous looking dragon with no legs but had what seemed like rocket boosters where it's legs should be, it has futuristic-looking green wings and wearing blue and white armor on it's dark green body.
Suddenly, The Legendary Spear's red orb begins to glow brightly as did the Synchro Monster in his hand, and like a moth to the flame. Motoyasu placed his Synchro Monster on top of the red orb as a red light began to scan the card.

And that's Chapter 3 done, How did you think of it? I know that is was very short, so that's why I added my first every Omake, to this chapter. And speaking of which, what do you guys think of that Omake, it adds more to the story as well as gives us a look at what Motoyasu, Ren, and Itsuki were doing before as well as gives them time to develop and try and understand Yuya.
I really hope you enjoyed this 3rd installment and I'm pretty sure many of you were surprised by the arrival of Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon as well.
Also D3lph0xL0v3r, Not to sound rude or anything, but Yuya had already unlocked the [Odd-Eyes (Pen.) Dragon Shield] in the first Chapter.
I really wanted to add Odd-Eyes to this fanfic, but I felt adding it to the beginning with Odd-Eyes Shield would be broken but adding it here just felt right to me for some reason.
