Hey guys and gals, CMBasher7 here, back with the 5th chapter to Yuya Sakaki, Rise of the Duelist Shield Hero(s). Finally, after 4 chapters we have finally reached the day of arrival for the 2nd Wave of Catastrophe.
Anyways, this will be a long chapter just to let you know want to make this the most epic action scene you will ever read/visualize.
And just a heads up, I will also now be adding cards from other fanfic works or even fanmade ones that I find on the Internet that I really like. My reason for this is that, in this fanfic, It had been 6 years, so of course they would release more support cards for Yuya and his counterparts decks.
I don't own anything from Yu-Gi-Oh! Or The Rising of the Shield Hero, anything I do create that is not from the original source material is either someone else's or my own creation and they belong to their rightful owners and creators.
With that all out of the way now, let's start the chapter to the Wave of Catastrophe.

Previously on Yuya Sakaki, Rise of the Duelist Shield Hero(s)...
Raphtalia gained the last bit of resolve she needed. "Yuya-sama. I'm truly grateful to have met you. You gave me cloths to wear and food to eat, you drove away my nightmares and made me want to live again. Yuya-sama. I am your sword! Wherever you go, I will follow... So, please rely on me". She reminded herself of what Yuya told her, about wanting to make sure other kids didn't go through what she did.
Yuya stared at her for a moment. He didn't know what to say or think. He knew that she changed her mind and wanted to live again, but did she truly not hate him? How could she not? Yuya had built up an image of a bastard choosing his life over hers, but she acts like she sees it differently. Yuya almost wanted to believe her, but... 'Of course you'll follow me, you're my slave. I didn't give you a choice. Offering help, when you already have to help isn't worth anything...'
Yuya for a brief moment considered what she said, but he didn't want to be proven wrong. So he wouldn't test it. 'I wish you didn't have to be my slave. After everything I've done to build you up. Everything I've done to repair you, to heal you... You'll always have that horrid seal on you, marking you as less than a person... and I am complicit in that. Maybe there is a little truth to what you said. Maybe you doesn't hate me, unlikely as that is. However, no matter what, if given the chance to abandon me and be free... you'll probably do it and I can't really blame you.'
"Sure." He just responded because he felt he had to.
Raphtalia was a little disappointed that her words seemed to do little for him. Being his sword was the way she was going to help him. That's what she decided, but... It was having no effect on him at all. She resolved herself further. 'If my words can't move him, I will show him that I meant them with my actions alone.'

Ren was standing along the cliff with his party members and looked at a card from the Duel Disk's Extra Deck, he seemed to be wondering something as he looked at the card.
Ren gave a sigh and steeled his resolve, placing the Fusion Monster back into the Extra Deck, he drew his sword, preparing himself to fight the Waves.

Itsuki was walking down the path with Rojeel and his other party members behind him. In his hand was a card from his Extra Deck. He seemed to be pondering something as he looked at the card.
Placing the Xyz Monster back into the Extra Deck, Itsuki waved at the passing townsfolk waving back at him with smiles on their faces and hope filling the children's eyes.

Motoyasu was at a Tavern with his Party as he looked at a card from his Extra Deck, he smiled as he looked at the monster, but he looked somewhat unease by his decision.
Taking a deep breath he placed his Synchro Monster back into the extra Deck as Myne ran towards him and gave him a hug, clearing his thoughts of what he was thinking as Rino and Elena looked out the window with concern for the Shield Hero.

After the last sand inside the Dragon Hourglass falls to the bottom, the sound of ringing bells chimes out of the Church, signaling everyone that the 2nd Wave has now just begun.
("RISE" - MADKID)
We start the intro with Yuya, Motoyasu, Itsuki, and Ren being first summoned to Melromarc, but they all wore their own armors as Yuya flicked his white cloak away revealing Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri's spirits standing right behind him.
The Legendary Sword's blue orb glows in Ren's hand.
The Legendary Bow's yellow orb glows in Itsuki's hand.
The Legendary Spear's red orb glows in Motoyasu's hand.
The Legendary Shield's green orb glows as Yuya opens his eyes revealing the skin around his eyes cracked and having a combination of crimson red, grey, blueish-green, and purple color in both eyes.
We get a bird's eye-view of Castle Town as we pan across the main castle of Melromarc.
We cut to Yuya covering his eyes with his Shield as Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all stand behind him with Yugo grinning happily, Yuto is giving a smirk, and Yuri just rolls his eyes as they all look out on top of a cliff.
Yuya, along with Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri are walking along side a bridge. We then transition to Raphtalia as she walks pasts cell bars. She runs towards the bars and reaches a hand out, like she was trying to find someone to help her escape.
We cut to Ren landing, before getting back up and striking a pose as Starving Venom Fusion Dragon appears behind Ren with Ren's party members.
We cut again to Itsuki entering a dive roll before pulling back an arrow as Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon appears and is charging in the same direction as the bow alongside Itsuki's party members.
We cut again to Motoyasu running along as Myne runs past him, he stops and strikes a pose as Clear Wing Synchro Dragon appears high above and is looking down at the reader with Motoyasu's party members appearing on both his left and right side.
We cut one more time to Yuya as Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all surround Yuya as Yugo gives him a noogie, Yuto just has his arms crossed over one another and a warm determined smile on his face, while Yuto is just slightly far away from them with a smirk on his face as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon runs towards Yuya as he smiles and jumps up and rides on the back of his Ace Pendulum Monster.
We cut to Myne leaning against the Throne with King Aultcray sitting in his throne. Myne smiles evilly as she grabs the camera before cutting to Yuya walking away.
We cut to Yuya falling down some stairs as he slams his back against some cell bars.
Raphtalia's Slave Crest begins to glow purple gaining both her and Yuya's attention.
We cut to a massive and ornate gold with red crystals hourglass as sands falls between each of the hourglasses glass, but when the last one fell a powerful and massive golden light was emitted from the hourglass.
We cut to a hoard of viscous monsters as the sky turns a frightening blood red color as swirls appear above the clouds.
A female figure appears standing on top of the mast of a boat, looking down watching and analyzing the Heroes.
Yuya and Raphtalia both reach out between the bars to try and grab each other. We catch a glimpse of the Legendary Shield's Skill tree.
The cells keeping Yuya and Raphtalia apart breaks as Raphtalia suddenly ages up, despite Yuya not aging a single bit.
Ren slices a monster in half with the help of his Sword, his Party Members, and Yuri's Predaplants, who were consuming weaker monsters left to right.
Itsuki dodges a volley of arrows as he runs up a cliff with the help of Yuto's Phantom Knights and Itsuki's party members acting as covering fire to help support him as he fires arrows at multiple opposing monsters.
Motoyasu leaps into the air as he uses the Legendary Spear to stab a series of monsters before he lands on top of Hi-Speedroid Clear Wing Rider and drives off to kill more monsters with Myne, his party members, and Yugo's Speedroids.
We cut Erhard, Beloukas, and many other people we have never even met yet in Melromarc as a cloak figure watches from behind and in the shadow, there was a sudden golden light that emanated from around his torso.
Before we cut to 2 women who look of royalty, a young girl with blue hair tied in pigtails and an older woman with purple hair who's face looks suspiciously like Myne's but at the same time isn't. Behind them are a series of people wearing Domino masks and black hoods.
We cut to Raphtalia pulling a sword out as Yuya holds back a monster as his Performapals who help both him and Raphtalia out-maneuver many monsters attacks or even lower or switch their opponents stats or strengthen their own, as Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon bites down on a monster that was about to attack it's master from behind. Yuya and Raphtalia's teamwork is working amazingly well, covering each other's weaknesses and using each other's strength to help one another. We can even see what can only be seen as large animal gladiators fighting alongside the Performapals, Yuya, Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon.
Yuya blocks another monster's attack as a little girl with blonde hair and wings rushes out into the battlefield, she flies up and transforms into a large bird and takes down a series of monsters with wind attacks and kicks.
A hand opens up a fan and unleashes a series of attacks at Yuya, the bird, and Raphtalia as Yuya pulls his shield up to block the attacks.
As Yuya lowers it slightly to look, he transforms his shield into [Odd-Eyes (Pen.) Dragon Shield] as he and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon, both unleash a devastating combined "Spiral Flame Strike" attack together at both the floating woman with fans and the wave of monsters at once.
The screen goes white as we slowly cut back to Yuya, Yugo, Yuri, and Yuto walking along a path as Raphtalia walks way behind them.
They all look behind them, except Yuri, and motion for her to pick up the pace and join them. She smiles happily and runs to give Yuya a hug, who graciously takes it, before quickly cutting back to Raphtalia holding onto Yuya's arm as he has tears forming in his eyes.
Yuto, Yugo, Yuri all appear behind Yuya as they, Raphtalia, and the large bird hold onto him as Yuya unleashes a more stronger variant of [Spiral Flame Strike] at his opponent.
We see the title, which has the Legendary Weapons at the NorthEast, NorthWest, SouthEast, and SouthWest corners with the Four Dimensional Dragons surrounding the North, East, South and West directions.
"YUYA SAKAKI, RISE OF THE DUELIST SHEILD HERO(S)"
Outside the Church...
Outside of Castle Town, the sky quickly transformed and it's colors quickly turned from it's peaceful sky blue colors to a menacing crimson blood red. The clouds in the sky turned from an angelic white color to a demonic red color.
Yuya, Raphtalia, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all looked at the sky in frightened awe. Suddenly, they were all covered in a bright yellow aura and light that they all didn't seem to take notice of.
They, along with the other Cardinal Heroes, were then suddenly transported from their location in and out of Castle Town, to somewhere else outside of Castle Town's city gates and were now heading towards where the Waves will hit.
Somewhere outside of Castle Town...
After the bright light dissipated, Yuya opened his eyes and saw that he was now in an open field with a forest, he wondered how did they get there.
"Where are we?" Yuya questioned as he looked around the area they were now in.
"It must be that when the last sand drops, we and our party members will be teleported to the nearest location from where the Wave will soon hit." Yuto suggested as he looks around the area.
"That'll saves us a lot of travel money then, huh." Yuri joked with a small chuckle at his own joke.
That's when Yuya heard Raphtalia gasp, turning to where she is standing, he sees the latter looking up to the sky with a frightened and shocked expression on her face.
Looking up, Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all see something that makes their jaws drop all at once.
What they saw was something beautiful and terrifying at the same time. Because, Like an underwater ocean current in the sky, Yuya and the Yu-Crew along with Raphtalia, all watched as a red and violet ocean current-like stream of portals flowed high above them, it was breathtaking to look at to be honest.
"The Wave of Catastrophe." Yuya said with shocked and frightened awe of how gorgeous the Ocean Current of portals looks.
"You got to admit, it's gorgeous to look at." Yugo admitted at how beautiful it looked despite knowing how terrifying it actually is.
"You got that right, Fusion." Yuri said with awe in his voice, Yugo just glared at Yuri.
Suddenly, and out of nowhere, massive hordes of monsters started to fall out of those portals, what fell out of the portals that Yuya could make out was several types of insects that looked like larger variants of the ones back home and zombies wearing various types of armor. In all honesty, Yuya could see why King Aultcray had summoned them to this world, and he didn't blame the guy for doing so.
Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Yuri, and Raphtalia then heard the sounds of numerous footsteps running towards the Waves, their weapons were already in their Duel Disk forms.
"Last one there is a rotten Hero!" Motoyasu challenged the other Heroes to a race, as he drew 2 cards from his deck, he placed one card on the [Duel Disk (White) Spear]'s duel blade. "Giddy up, Speedroid Horse Stilts!"
Flying right up to the Spear Hero, was a monster that seemed to be a cross between a Bobby Horse (those sticks with a stuff horse head at the top) and stilts, with the latter of the two acting as it's front legs. The monster has a beige underbelly with green at it's back and a green plant-like tail. Decorating it's body was golden pipes that had red orbs (4 on the neck and 2 on the chest) that looked almost like mechanical reigns. It's front stilts-like legs had blue metal at the top, middle, and bottom that went through a metal pole. And it seemed to actually be floating in mid-air as there was blue flames spewing from behind it that was keeping it afloat in the air, it also seemed to be alive as it let out a neigh and blinked it's angry-expressioned eyes.

"I activate Horse Stilts party member effect, I can Special Summon 1 level 4 or lower "Speedroid" monster from my hand, and I choose to Special Summon this one!" Motoyasu announced.
"It's party time, Speedroid Fuki-Modoshi Piper!" Motoyasu said, as he placed another card in his hand onto his [Duel Disk (White) Spear]'s duel blade.
Appearing in a puff of smoke and confetti, was a small, almost human-like creature. It wore on it's feet a pair of dark green Mugal Moorish shoes. It wore lederhosens on top of a white, long-sleeved shirt with a pair of large cartoony gloves on it's hands. Around it's neck, was a large light green scarf that's tassels ended with two feathers that went from green to yellow to orange at the tip. It had forest green wooden hair and wore a red fedora with some orange metal on the front and a cartoonishly large white feather that went from white to orange to red at the tip. It's face had no mouth, but you could sense life within it's large green eyes that had orange wooden eyebrows and cheeks. In it's right hand, was a "Y" shaped party horn with two party horns at both ends and a handle in the middle that it held in it's hand. The handle was an orange color while the "Y" intersecting point that held two party horns was a forest green color. It blew in it's pipe as the two party horns let out a funny noise.
[Speedroid Fuki-Modoshi Piper]

Party Member Effect: You can excavate cards from your Deck equal to the number of WIND monsters you control, and choose 1 of those cards to add to your hand, then place the rest at the bottom of the Deck.
Monster Effect: If this card is Normal or Special Summoned: You can excavate cards from the top of your Deck equal to the number of other WIND monsters you control, add 1 excavated card to your hand, also place the rest on the bottom of your Deck in any order. You can banish this card from your GY, then target 1 Level 3 or higher WIND monster you control; reduce its Level by 2. You can only use each effect of "Speedroid Fuki-Modoshi Piper" once per turn.
"I tune my Level 4 Speedroid Fuki-Modoshi Piper with my Level 4 Speedroid Horse Stilts!" Motoyasu exclaimed as he ran alongside Horse Stilts and Fuki-Modoshi, both of whom went ahead of Motoyasu and into the sky.
A bolt of green lightning struck Motoyasu as the world greyed out, and his two monsters disappeared into particles.
"I call upon the dragon that glides upon the open sky and sails across the sea of clouds!" Motoyasu chanted, aiming his Legendary Spear into the clouds.
"I Synchro Summon!"
Suddenly, two rings appeared, one forest green and the other beige appeared before turning blue and merging with one another. Seven blue rings stacked in a tower formation appeared, and a screen displaying "4 plus 4" appeared in front of everyone present. The screen then changed to "8" as a beam of light surged through the rings.
"Take to the skies, Level 8! Hi-Speedroid Kitedrake!"
Soaring through the clouds and heading towards Motoyasu, and weaving thorough the hordes of falling monsters and swarming bugs, the other Cardinal Heroes and their party members saw a mechanical serpentine-like metal dragon that was metallic grey at the bottom and navy blue at the top descend from above. It's two horns and six wings were a holographic green. Red laser-like strings shout out of the red orbs located on the middle of it's back, shoulders, hands, thighs, and feet surrounding the dragon was 4 fighter jet-like drones that were the same color as The Dragon Kite, the laser like strings of Hi-Speedroid Kitedrake then attached and wrapped themselves onto Motoyasu's spear. Motoyasu was then lifted up into the sky and towards the dragon and when he got close he spun himself and landed on the head of the dragon. The Metallic Synchro Dragon let out a roar that sounded like two metals scraping one another, but Motoyasu didn't seem to mind, as the red laser-like strings let go of the Legendary Spear.

(Cooldown: 30 mins)
Monster Effect: If this card is Synchro Summoned: You can activate 1 of these effects;
1. Destroy all other cards on the field.
2. Negate the effects of all face-up cards your opponent currently controls.
If this card in your possession is sent to your GY by an opponent's card: You can add 1 "Speedroid" monster from your Deck to your hand. You can only use each effect of "Hi-Speedroid Kitedrake" once per turn.
Motoyasu then directed Kitedrake to fly down to his party, the Dragon Kite hybrid let out a metallic roar as it rocketed down towards Motoyasu's party members in mere minutes, once it got close Motoyasu motioned for them to get on Kitedrake. They did as he said and got on, holding onto Kitedrake's limbs, with Myne holding onto Motoyasu with her breasts hugging his arm.
"Come on, Kitedrake, let's go beat that boss!" Motoyasu directed the Kite Dragon to head over to where the boss would appear. The dragon let out another metallic roar and rocketed it's way to the Wave Boss Monster.
"That's cheating, Motoyasu." Itsuki said with a scowl at the fleeting Spear Hero and his party, he then drew 2 cards from his Deck. "I summon The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves!"
Blue flames appeared and formed themselves alongside Itsuki, and once the blue flames were all gathered, they formed themselves into a somewhat humanoid shape, it head had a grey humanoid mask for a face with no nose, with orange cloth swaying at at the sides of it's head like they were trying to be it's horns. It wore a navy blue and black chest plate. It's hands were massive and it wore black and blue gloves that looked very ragged at where your arms would enter the gloves there was orange cloth on both gloves that looked torn. It had no legs but had a grey metal groin armor plate and acting as it's legs was a single blue flame tail.

"I activate this monsters' effect from my hand! With it, I can Special Summon this monster from my hand if I have another "The Phantom Knights" on my field! So sneak on in, The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots!" Itsuki announced as he placed his 2nd card onto the [Duel Disk (Black) Bow]'s duel blade next to Ragged Gloves.
Blue flames appeared and formed themselves alongside Itsuki again, and once the blue flames were all gathered, they formed themselves into a humanoid shape, it wore a brown cloak that covered it's body with a brown hat that looked similar to a brown leather Flap Hat that was held by an orange spiked band. Around it's neck was a metal shackle that was chained to it's cloak, making it look like it's arms were chained behind it's back, and a necklace with 3 skulls and 4 blue claws that could be seen underneath an orange cloth around it's waist. It wore long grey pants with brown boots that had orange laces. It's head was orb-shaped and the flames looked like it had two circles that acted as it's eyes.
[The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots]

Party Member Effect: When equipped to a party member or yourself, your Agility stat increases by 120 AGI and you and your party gain the Silent Stealth ability (This ability makes you and your party members undetectable by opponents and monsters for 20 minutes). If you control another "The Phantom Knights" monster, Special Summon this monster from your hand (you can only Special Summon this card once per turn with this effect).
Monster Effect: If you control a "The Phantom Knights" monster, you can Special Summon this card (from your hand). You can only Special Summon "The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots" once per turn this way. You can banish this card from your GY; add 1 "Phantom Knights" Spell/Trap from your Deck to your hand. You can only use this effect of "The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots" once per turn.
"I overlay my Level 3 Ragged Gloves with my Level 3 Silent Boots to build the Overlay Network!" Itsuki shouted as he placed Ragged Gloves and Silent Boots on top of one another.
Suddenly, The Phantom Knights of Silent Boots and The Phantom Knights of Ragged Gloves started to glow purple before they were transformed into two purple begins of energy. After that the two beings of energy shot up into the air.
"The souls of the forgotten rise to fight again!" Itsuki chanted as he pulled back his bow and let loose an arrow into the sky above alongside the beings of pure dark energy.
"I Xyz Summon!"
The arrow that Itsuki shot up in the air, came back down just as a black vortex appeared in front of him, which resembled a Black Hole, just then the two purple beings of energy of the two level 3 Phantom Knights went into the vortex. This then caused a bright explosion to erupt from the vortex.
"Appear! Rank 3, The Phantom Knights of Break Sword!"
After the explosion subsided, a new form appeared taking the place of both Silent Boots and Ragged Gloves.The monster(s) rode on a horse made of grey and dark grayish-blue armor. It's rider had no head or neck, showing of the blue flames leaking from where it's neck should be, as well as in between it's shoulders and elbows. It's chest plate has a strange red marking and it wielded a gigantic sword in it's right hand that had bone covering the middle of the blunt and sharp edges of the blade, except the tip of the blade itself. At first glance, you'd think the monster was two beings, but if you look closer it seemed that what was considered two monsters is actually one conjoined monster. Surrounding the Xyz Monster was two purple orbs that orbited around it's rider's body.

Monster Effect: Once per turn: You can detach 1 material from this card, then target 1 card you control and 1 card your opponent controls; destroy them. If this Xyz Summoned card is destroyed: You can target 2 "The Phantom Knights" monsters with the same Level in your GY; Special Summon them and increase their Levels by 1, also you cannot Special Summon monsters for the rest of this turn, except DARK monsters.
As Break Sword galloped it's way to it's master, Itsuki turned towards the oncoming monster and held his hand out. And as soon as Break Sword reached Itsuki, the rider top half reached out his hand and scooped Itsuki up and placed the Bow Hero behind the phantom rider.

After that, Itsuki's party quickly followed behind their party leader and headed off towards Wave Boss Monster to kill it and stop their 2nd Wave of Catastrophe and the Heroes 1st Wave of Catastrophe.
"Psh, Amateurs." Ren coldly said as he drew 3 cards from his deck. "I activate the Spell Card, Polymerization!" He announced as he placed the Spell Card in the Spell/Trap Zone on his [Duel Disk (Purple) Sword]'s duel blade.
The Spell Card showed an orange imp monster and an orange dragon each with black eyes, and they seem to be going into some kind of swirling blue and purple mist, like their powers were about to join forces with one another.
"I fuse my Predaplant Chlamydosundew with my Predaplant Pterapenthes from my hand!" Ren announced as the two monster cards in his hand shot up into the air.
A vortex of orange, blue, and purple appeared behind Ren as two swirls of different shades of Green appeared; one was light green, and the other was yellowish-green, and entered through the portal.
Ren now had his arms outstretched with his Legendary Sword in one hand as the vortex swirled behind him, his eyes narrowing somehow even further than normal, as he and his party members stopped running.
"Two sweet-smelling flowers that invite the abyss! Become one, and give birth to a new terror!" Ren chanted with his eyes closed, before he clasped both of his hands together at the handle of the Legendary Sword before lowering his arms to where they were now front of his face, and turning the sword sideways, with the sword's blade now facing in-between his eyes and nose as he opened his eyes.
"I Fusion Summon!"
A flash of light engulfed behind Ren and his party, as the ground beneath them started to shake, like there was an earthquake that was now just happening right underneath him and his party's feet.
"Appear! Level 7, Predaplant Pinguiculacobra!"
Bursting from underneath the ground, with Ren and his party members standing on top of the newly fusion summoned monsters' back, for the monster that Ren had summoned looked to be a cross between a giant Cobra and a Pinguicula plant (better known as butterworts). The hood of the plant cobra hybrid's neck looked like the petals of the red leaf pinguicula. The upper half of it's body looked to be covered in green leaves, while the bottom looked to be made of roots which all lead down towards it's tail.

"I don't remember that monster being in my original deck." Yuri said, confused on Predaplant Pinguiculacobra being in his deck, despite never haven put one in his deck when he had a body.
Also, quick Levels update, Yuya and Raphtalia had both leveled up yesterday after they had left the Church, Yuya was now at Level 19 and Raphtalia was now at Level 21.
Yuya, Raphtalia, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all watched as Predaplant Pinguilacobra slithered and tore up the ground as it made it's way to the Wave Boss Monster along with Speedroid Kitedrake and The Phantom Knights of Break Sword.
"Oh yeah, I remember now, they released new monsters and support cards for me and your guys Decks, I decided to get them all and I didn't tell you as I wanted them to be a surprise." Yuya snapped his finger remembering when he got them.
"Okay, 1. Thank you that's really nice of you, and 2. You're an idiot for doing that now." Yuri thanked and insulted Yuya for obtaining new Predaplants, Speedroid, and The Phantom Knight cards. Thankfully, Yuya got some more Performapal cards to help them so there's that.
"Yeah, you're right about that and you're welcome." Yuya tells Yuri, accepting his compliment and his insult.
"Come on, Raphtalia! Let's try and catch up with them." Yuya suggested as he drew out 5 cards from his deck.
Just as Raphtalia and Yuya were about to head out and join the other Heroes and their monsters, the former gasped as she had noticed a familiar village that the five of them were at just a week ago and had cleared it's mine of a dangerous Orthrus.
"Look over there!" Raphtalia called out pointing to a familiar village. "Isn't that Lute Village!?"
Yuya looked to where she was pointing and noticed that was indeed Lute Village, he nodded his head in confirmation.
"So the Waves can teleports us to wherever they will strike at the time." Yuri theorized as he placed a hand on his chin.
Now that they knew where they were teleported to, Yuya slowly started to worry about the innocent villagers there and hoped that they had all evacuated before the Wabe had hit.
"Was everyone evacuated?" Yuya questioned, worried about the kind villagers who hadn't heard the false rumors about him and didn't treat him like garbage.
Suddenly, Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, Yuri, and Raphtalia all heard the sound of a gunshot being fired, they all looked up and saw something soar high up into the sky, letting out a bright flash of light.
"A flare?" Yuya questioned, his eyes then widen as he realized what that meant. "That means they weren't able to all evacuate in time."
"Think it would be enough to let the knights know where they are?" Yuto asked his counterparts and Raphtalia.
"But that means that during the Waves, no one knows where the next Wave will hit then." Yuri said, as he and everyone present on the cliff realized that he was right.
Zombies wielding spears and wearing armor slowly dropped down onto the ground, ready to cause mayhem and destruction in their path.
"The castle isn't far away, but by the time the knights get there..." Yugo said, as they all knew the castle was only two days away by foot.
"It would already be too late and the village will have already been wiped out!" Yuri finished, knowing that the knights of Melromarc would never get to Lute Village in time.
Yuya gritted his teeth, knowing that he just can't leave those innocent villagers to die at the hands of the Waves or go through what Raphtalia went through.
"We're going!" Yuya says to Raphtalia, gaining her attention.
"Huh?" Raphtalia said wondering where they will go, will they fight the Wave Boss Monster or protect Lute Village.
But Yuya had already made up his mind the moment he was transported here and saw Lute Village under attack.
"To Lute Village!" Yuya shouted as he ran towards Lute Village. He placed his 5 drawn cards back into his Deck.
Raphtalia smiled at Yuya's desicion to protect the people of Lute Village.
"Right!" Raphtalia said with a firm nod and followed behind Master Yuya drawing her sword from it's sheath.
"Woo-hoo! Here we come Lute Village! Your Hero's arriving!" Yugo cheered as he, Yuto, and Yuri all followed behind Yuya to Lute Village.
At Lute Village...
There was fire and smoke at Lute Village, the gates to the village's entrance was already now broken and dismantled by the Interdimensional Monsters that had just arrived and attacked them.
A man was on his rear as he was cornered by a horde of Interdimensional Wasps, Interdimensional Locust, and Interdimensional Zombies.
The zombie raised it's sword, intent on killing this living man right here and now before going to some other innocent person or family.
Just as it brought down it's sword, it's attack was suddenly blocked as the sound of metal was heard throughout the alleyway.
It was Yuya who had blocked the Interdimensional Zombies' sword from killing the man. The zombie tried it's damnest to continue bringing it's sword down on the two humans, but suddenly, and out of nowhere, it was decapitated.
Raphtalia aimed her sword in front of her as she stood next to Yuya, ready to defend the villager from anymore monsters.
"Are you all right, Sir?" Raphtalia asked the villager as Yuya protected him from any more monsters. The villager nodded his head as sweat dripped from his head.
"Go on, Raphtalia, it's better if you help to evacuate the villagers that are left." Yuya told Raphtalia to rescue any other civilians. "The mine should help protect them."
"Huh? But what about you?" Raphtalia asked worried for her Master.
"Don't worry about me, I'll be fine. I'll lure them out of here." Yuya tells Raphtalia with a determined look in his eyes.
"All right, then." Raphtalia said with a firm nod, she didn't want to leave Yuya, but he always finds a way to surprise her in some way.
Raphtalia went over to find anymore survivors to save them from the Wave and take them over to the mine for their protection.
Yuya then drew 5 cards from his Deck once again. He looked at his hand and smiled. He swapped his shield to it's [Duel Disk (Crimson) Shield] form.
"Oh, I know that look, you ready to do this?" Yuto asked Yuya with a smirk on his face.
"You know I am, Yuto. I missed using my summoning method." Yuya said with a smile. He then revealed two unique looking cards in his hand, both cards top half was the Standard Monster Card color, but the bottom had the Spell Card color.
"I'll use Scale 1 Stargazer Magician and Scale 8 Timegazer Magician to set the Pendulum Scale! I'm taking control of this fight starting NOW!" Yuya shouted as he placed two monsters onto the Red and Blue Pendulum Scales.
Upon placing his cards on his [Duel Disk (Crimson) Shield], the words appeared reading in rainbow colors: "P-E-N-D-U-L-U-M", as two pillars of light then shone down in between and behind Yuya. High above and in between the two pillar of lights, a gigantic version of Yuya's Crystal Pendant swung back and forth like a pendulum before it slowly started to swing in circles.
Appearing in the two pillars of light, inside them it contained two magicians that looked different to each other, but they both seem to hold massive amounts of power inside the columns of light.
The Magician to Yuya's right had a calm expression in his eyes, his face was covered by a white mask as it he a white cap, robe, and pants. On his chest and elbows, he wore dark grey armor, and on his fore arms and wrist he wore a light grey wrist gauntlet with orbs that seem to form constellations. Around his shoulder, he wore a long purple cape. His blonde hair was long and wavy. In his left hand, he wielded a staff with a sun disk-looking object that was hollowed out where his hand was at and at the top end of the staff was what looked like a device that could measure stars and constellations.
The number "1" appeared beneath the Magician of Space in the pillar of light.

The Magician to Yuya's left had a tired expression in his eyes, his face was also covered but by a red bandana over his face. He wore a black leather jacket that was red on the inside and a pair of dark blueish-grey pants. Over his biceps was a yellowish-orange gear like objects. On his forearms were some kind of forearm armor, but on his right arm was something the look reminiscent of a Duel Disk but it had a long curved (towards his elbow) yellowish-orange gear. Around his waist was a yellowish-orange gear. He also wore a knee pad and leg armor on his left leg.
The number "8" appeared beneath the Magician of Time in the pillar of light.

"Swing far Pendulum! Carve the arc of Victory! My Monsters are ready..." Yuya shot his shield hand up into the air with his palm open.
"...TO SWING INTO ACTION!!!!!"
As the gigantic version of Yuya's pendant started to swing around in large oval arcs, like one of those spinning paint can arts, in-between Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician, a circular portal opened up between the pendant's arching swings and 3 lights bursted forth from the portal, one was orange, one was green, and the last one was purple.
"I Pendulum Summon!"
Meanwhile with Ren, Itsuki, Motoyasu and their Party Members...
Motoyasu, Itsuki, and Ren had all arrived at the area of the Wave Boss Monster.
"Ha Ha! I win!" Motoyasu announced his and his party members victory.
"You only won because you have a rocket dragon to ride on." Itsuki deadpanned.
"He's right." Ren agreed with Itsuki.
Motoyasu looked around and noticed that Yuya wasn't with them.
"Hmm, looks like Yuya is the rotten Hero." Motoyasu said with a cocky smile. "Guess he won't get the sweet reward of killing the mini-Boss, huh?"
After he said that, the Three Cardinal Heroes and their parties all then heard 4 distinct roars at once, the roars sounded like a Lion's roar, a Goat's scream, a Draconic roar, and a Viper's hissing.
Turning around, the 3 Cardinal Heroes and their party noticed a massive four-legged figure with 4 heads approaching the Heroes and their party members slowly and (almost) regally as it stared them down with a viscous expression.
It was a massive hybrid of monsters with 3 heads at the front. It's left head looked to belong to a Goat, it's middle head looked to belong to a Lion's, and the right head looked to belong to some kind of Dragon. And the last head wasn't even up front but at the back, acting as the tail, which was a Viper's head and torso. It was clear to the Heroes what this monster was, It was a Chimera.
The Heroes and their party members all got into offensive positions as the Cardinal Heroes swapped their weapons from their Duel Disk form to a new type of form they had unlocked on the 2nd day after Yuya left.
In Motoyasu's hand, his spear had transformed, now looking very high-tech for this era. It was mainly white, but two of the spear's blades looked like very futuristic hologram green wings, the hand guard was a light blue and looked like it had two pairs of teeth at the bottom. At the bottom half of the spear was a barbed spike that was covered by a light blue armor and four wings at the base. The middle of the spear looked like a black scaled Dragon wearing white armor at the back and light blue armor covering it's jaw, the sides of it's mouth and the middle of it's head which had a white tip at the nose of the dragon. It's eyes glowed yellow. The red orb decorated the forehead of the dragon.

In Itsuki's hand, his bow had transformed, now looking like a dark-medieval style of armor. The arches of the bow looked like eight pairs of claymores having taken the shape of wings being separated by a purple arch. The string looked to be made of pure purple electricity. The handle of where Itsuki holds the bow looked terrifying too, looking like a grey and black chest plate with red circles with holes in the middle. The Legendary Bow's yellow orb sat in the middle. The arrows of the Bow looked like one singular arrow, with the bottom arrow being much longer and much more sharper than the top which had two "horns" pointing backwards, together the arrows looked like the head of a dragon as it's eyes glowed yellow.

In Ren's hand, his sword had transformed, but it looked strange at the very best. The blade itself was way too short that you could mistake it for a cleaver, but the blade itself was very wide when looking at it facing the blade's face. And the neck of the blade didn't seem to be one singular blade but, upon closer inspection, actually looked to be segmented pieces of purplish-red armor at the neck of the sword. The blade was a dark purplish-red color at the top and dark forest green at the bottom, the handle was a sickly dark green color and at the end of the handle was a long whip like protrusion that ended with a large red orb that lead onto a large, sickly beige-yellow hooked tip. The tip of the blade was the most terrifying thing to look at. The head of the blade looked like dragon but with two massive, almost demon-like horns sticking out from the sides. The top half of the dragon wore the same purplish-red armor as the lower half of the Dragon's jaw seemed to look like 3 separate mouths, the middle one being the sickly dark green color and the ones at the side being a sickly yellowish-beige color. The dragon's eyes glowed yellow as the Legendary Sword's blue orb sat on it's forehead.

The Interdimensional Chimera let out a series of growls and hisses before it let out a powerful and loud roars, screams, and hiss.
"All right, new challenge. Who ever kills this freak first, gets first pick of what they absorb." Motoyasu declared, looking at Ren and Itsuki. "Do we have a deal?"
Ren and Itsuki looked at each other before looking at Motoyasu and giving a nod, both accepting the challenge.
Just when the Interdimensional Chimera had reached them, and the heroes and their party were ready to fight, Two massive beams of light bursted forth from far away the Heroes, their party members, and the Chimera, gaining their attention.
High above a crystal pendant appeared, it looked familiar to Itsuki, Motoyasu, Ren, and Myne, but they didn't know why, as it began to swing around in large oval arcs that made a circle in the middle. A portal opened up in the pendant's swinging arc as 3 colored lights burst out of the portal and down onto the land.
Motoyasu, Ren, Itsuki, their party members, and even the Chimera, looked at the scene before them all with a raised eyebrow(s), wondering what was happening over there.

"What was that?" Motoyasu was the first to ask.
Ren and Itsuki, along with Myne, Lesty, Elena, Rino, Rojeel, and the other party members just voiced sounds of confusion and uncertainty, mixed with the occasional shrugging of shoulders before they went back into battle position along with the Synchro, Xyz, and Fusion monsters that they had created join their side to fight against the Chimera.
With Yuya at Lute Village...
Appearing in front of Yuya was 3 different Monsters, all ready to fight the waves of monsters and put on a show for the villagers here as they protected them.
The first monster we see, appearing in a cartoony puff of smoke and confetti, looks to be a light purple lynx with scarlet stripes on it's arms and torso with a white muzzle, underbelly, and paws. It wore a scarlet bowtie with white dots and a blue top hat with a green ribbon. It had a smile on it's fuzzy face, it's eyebrows were scarlet and it's eyes were a turquoise color, it's tail has a zigzag pattern of light purple and scarlet. It's toebeans we're an orange color. The weirdest thing of all about this monster was definitely the middle of it's back, which was a beige trampoline with a scarlet ring.
"Help me bounce these fools out of here, Performapal Trampolynx!"

The second monster we see, also appearing in a cartoony puff of smoke and confetti, looks to be a red and yellow stripped rattlesnake-like monster. It has a green star on it's right eye and wore a goofy smile on it's face. It's rattle was covered by a 5-finger white cartoony glove with an orange bowtie with white dots located where you would put your hand through the glove, like the same one around it's neck. It wore a blue top hat with a pink ribbon on it's head.

The Dragon with the odd dichromatic red and green eyes flashed red and green respectfully as the mighty Pendulum Dimension dragon let out a mighty roar from it's jaws.

Yuya then hopped up onto his Ace Dragon's back and held onto Odd-Eyes' large horns as it ran towards a group of monsters. A determined smile painted his face clearly for all to see as he looked out at the horde of zombies and insects, who have surrounded the villagers.
The villagers tried their best to hold them off with their pitchforks and pickax, but they were still terrified as many of the knew that they didn't stand a chance against the horde of monsters.
One of the villagers noticed Yuya on the back of Odd-Eyes, with Partnaga and Trampolynx slithering/running next to the dragon and Stargazer and Timegazer Magicians in the sky following in-between the 3 monsters.
"Look! It's one of the heroes!" The Villager told the others as he pointed to the on-coming Shield Hero. "And he seems to have tamed a dragon and other monsters as well!"
The other Villagers looked to where the Villager who spotted the Shield Hero pointed. And low and behold, they all saw that their fellow villager was telling the truth.
"He's right! It's the Shield Hero--he'll save us!" Another Villager cheered as they were now saved.
As Yuya and Odd-Eyes approached the villagers as they attacked any oncoming enemies coming towards them. Yuya used his shield to block the attacks, but also whenever the interdimensional bugs got close to him, the speed of Odd-Eyes just turned the bugs to mush against his shield. Odd-Eyes was biting down zombies left to right as Partnaga decapitated two zombies at a time by wrapping around two zombies necks and tightening itself as hard as it could, Trampolynx bounced any oncoming monsters away from itself with it's trampoline body and towards the other zombies or towards one of it's teammates and even smacked away zombies that it couldn't get up close. Even Stargazer and Timegazer both helped by using their magic of space and time to defeat the insectoid monster flying towards the two Pendulum Magicians of Space and Time.
Yuya then leapt off of Odd-Eyes back reared his shield arm back.
"HHHYYYAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!!" Yuya yelled as he punched a zombie in the face, causing it to be temporarily stunned.
"Listen up, everybody! We'll keep these zombies busy! So all of you get out while you still can!" Yuya told them as he rushed towards another zombie with his shield arm up.
The zombies all followed after Yuya, intent on killing the Shield Hero and his band of monsters. Yuya then got back on Odd-Eyes back as all the monsters began following them.
The Villagers watched on in awe of Yuya's self-sacrifice to protect them from the zombies, they let out a sigh of relief, and many of them were filled with determination to help the only hero that decided to help them.
Somewhere else in Lute Village...
A Peddler scream in fear as a zombie approached him, his bag was too heavy for him to quickly get back up to his feet.
"[Air Strike Shield]!!!" Yuya shouted as a green shield with the design of the Four Heavenly Dragons appeared in-between the helpless Peddler and the zombie.
"Run! Get out of here now!" Yuya told the Peddler as the zombie's attention shifted to Yuya and Odd-Eyes.
Suddenly a swarm of Interdimensional Locusts and Wasps appeared heading right towards him. He dodged the swarm.
"Mommy!" A little girl cried out for her mother to protect her.
Yuya quickly swapped his [Rope Shield] for his [Pipe Shield] and activated it's ability.
"[SHIELD PRISON]!!!" Yuya shouted as he ran towards the mother and daughter.
A ball made of shields that seemed to be held by chains appeared surrounding the Mother and Daughter as the swarm of Interdimensional wasps and locusts bounced off the ball, they then noticed Yuya and chased after him.
As Yuya ran, he noticed a a burning building and slid underneath the burning wood. Some of the monsters waited outside of the burning building, while 3 followed inside but were quickly burned to a crisp.
Yuya then turned around and dive roll out of the burning building, when he landed he had grabbed a burning piece of wood and was now aiming it at the monsters, testing them that if they attacked him he will burn them.
"This way, you stupid monsters!" Yuya shouted at the Wave Monsters. "What's the matter? Can't take me on?"
Yuya then ran once again as the zombies followed after him. He dodged some more monsters as he thought to himself.
'Why am I risking my life to defend total strangers?' Yuya thought to himself as he dodged some more monster attacks.
"Let's see, 1. you're insane. 2. you know you don't want the death of these villagers on your mind." Yuri started to list off the reason Yuya is risking his life to save the people of Lute Village.
"But I like to think that it's number 3. You made a promise to make sure everyone can still keep on smiling even during the Waves, and you intend to keep that promise." Yuri tells him with a smirk.
"So gives them a show that they will never forget, Yuya!" Yuri encouraged his Pendulum Dimension counterpart.
'Guess I really am a fool.' Yuya thought to himself as he smiled, he then called Trampolynx, Partnaga, and Odd-Eyes back to him.
With Raphtalia...
Raphtalia is seen directing the villagers of Lute Village into the mine for their safety, making sure that Kids have their parents or any figure they trust with them before they enter the mine.
"Everyone! Come this way! Hurry!" Raphtalia instructed the villagers to head inside the mines. "You'll be safer inside!"
Whilst many of the villagers headed on inside the mine, many stayed outside to watch their home as fire spread and buildings crumbled to the ground. Raphtalia was also one of these spectators and looked on in worry for Yuya.
Back with Yuya...
Yuya is heavily catching his breath as his Performapals and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon as they have been fighting the Wave Monsters non-stop and reducing any surviving villagers for 5 hours straight.
"There's too many of them." Yuya heavily panted, trying to catch his breath. "We've got to minimize the damage to the village."
That's when Yuya noticed a tower off in the distance that has a bell inside that he could use to lure all the monsters towards him, allowing him to let the surviving villagers to escape.
"Trampolynx, can you get me up there?" Yuya asked his Performapal Trampolynx as he pointed to the tower, the purple lynx looked to the tower and back at Yuya and nodded it's head.
"You guys stay here, when I give the signal, that's when you guys attack, okay?" Yuya orders his Odd-Eyes, Partnaga, Timegazer and Stargazer Magicians to stay here until he gives the signal.
They all nodded their heads, Yuya gave a smirk and headed off with Trampolynx towards the tower.
"Let's go, Trampolynx! Rebound Bounce!" Yuya says to his Performapal as the Lynx ran ahead of Yuya and stood next to the tower.
Yuya then jumped on the back of Trampolynx's trampoline body and bounced his way all the way up to the tower's ladder.
"Go join the others!" Yuya tells Trampolynx to join the others, it nodded it's head and went back to the other Monsters on Yuya's field.
"Get the hell outta here! Just stay back!" An adventurer warned the monsters as he held a sword as he and two others tried to fend off the monsters with swords and a spear.
"Get away from me!" Another adventurer warned the monsters.
Yuya saw this and quickly made his way up the tower to reach the bell.
"Stay away! You hear what I said?!" Another Adventurer warned the Wave Monsters with fear clearly in his voice.
The Adventurers then heard the constant sound of a bell ringing up above the tower, this sound gets the attentions of all the monsters in Lute Village.
Yuya looked up and saw that the Waves weren't slowing down on the monsters or showed signs of stopping.
'Damn! The Wave is showing no signs of slowing down. What are those guys doing?' Yuya mentally questioned what Motoyasu, Itsuki, and Ren were doing. 'What're they waiting fo--?'
Suddenly, the tower that Yuya is standing atop of rumbles and shakes, Yuya looks out and sees all the monsters within Lute Village having surrounded the tower and many of them were either flying up the tower or climbing the wooden support beams or ladder towards him.
Yuya then noticed a lantern in the tower and formed a crazy idea, he grabbed the lantern, unscrews the base and started to cover the zombies and the tower with the very flammable oil that was inside the lantern.
Yuya then dropped the burning piece of wood onto the flammable oil. When the fire reached the oil, the flames started to burst and engulfed the zombies climbing the tower as well as the tower itself.
Yuya then swapped his shield to his [Rope Shield] and jumped out of the burning Tower as it started to crumble to ash, Yuya then activated the shield's [Hook] ability as he fell to the ground, the shield unfurled itself and latched onto wooden support beam of another building. But, due to his momentum as he fell, he wasn't able to quickly stop and crashed into a cart filled with cabbages.
As he stood back up, Yuya turned around to look at the burning tower. The flaming tower then fell to the ground, creating a massive bonfire that could be seen all the way to the mines.
With Raphtalia...
Raphtalia was seen comforting a mother and daughter as they were about to head into the mines for their safety when they saw a flame red color covering their faces, Raphtalia looked at Lute Village and let a worried gasp, seeing the burning tower turn to ash and rubble.
Back with Yuya...
Yuya then looked at the gigantic smoke cloud, hoping that was able to do it in getting rid of as many monsters as it could possibly can.
"Did... Did that do it?" Yuya questioned as he looked at the large smoke cloud.
...
...
...
...
"Sir Hero!" A voice called out, gaining Yuya's attention.
Yuya looked and saw the first villager that he and Raphtalia save along with many of the other villagers that he was able to save.
"What are you doing here? Get out! Head to the mines!" Yuya ordered the villagers to head back to the mines.
"We all changed our minds and came back after seeing how courageously you fought for our home." The man tells Yuya. "Lute is our home. It's all we have. We can't just run away and abandon it." He tells the Shield Hero.
"We decided that we'll fight alongside you, for our home." The Man tells Yuya with a steel resolved in his voice.
Yuya smiled at the villagers bravery as he slowly stood up as rubble fell from his clothes.
"You're brave villagers, I hope you know that. You made a good choice." Yuya says with a determined look and a smile on his face. He then tells the first villager he saved the plan. "Help us keep the enemy pinned down until we can finish the evacuation."
The Villagers gives a firm nod, willing to work with Yuya's and his monsters who are protecting their home as best they can.
Suddenly, a large shadow engulfs the two as they turn around and spit a gigantic interdimensional Zombie wearing spiked armor and wielding a massive axe. It raised it's axe at the man, ready to kill the villager,
Yuya quickly saw this, and stood in front of the Man, as the Zombie's axe came down onto Yuya's shield which, with the massive weight of the Zombie's swing, launched the two of them into a tree.
"Die, Monster!" A Villager yelled as he aimed his pitchfork at the zombie.
The Zombie turns around and raises it's Axe at the Villagers ready to strike them like it did with the Shield Hero.
Yuya quickly used his Rollerboots and rollerskated his way to the other Villager to protect them from being killed by the giant monster.
"You guys need to fall back now! You won't be able to deal with this one!" Yuya tells the Villagers to fall back now since this monster is stronger than the normal zombies.
"Sir Hero!" The Villager said, they didn't want to leave their Hero who fought for their home.
"Don't worry about me, Think about your families and how happy they would see you alive, then dead! There's no reason for you to die here!" Yuya tells them as he struggles to push the giant zombie's axe back.
"MASTER YUYA!" Raphtalia's voice calls out.
Yuya let out a shocked gasp at hearing her voice. "...Raphtalia?"
Raphtalia quickly charges into the field with her sword drawn and ready to kill the Giant Zombie. The giant zombie raised it's axe again and swung down, but Yuya blocked and moved out of the way.
"Let's take care of this thing NOW!" Yuya shouted as he swapped his shield from it's [Rope Shield] form to it's powerful [Odd-Eyes (Pen.) Dragon Shield] form. Odd-Eyes roared as it ran up towards it's Duelist and Raphtalia to fight against the Giant Zombie.
Yuya then jumped up towards the zombie's head and [Shield Bash] it's unarmored skull. As Odd-Eyes approached the Zombie and jumped high above Yuya.
"LET'S SCORCH EVERYTHING WE SEE TOGETHER, ODD-EYES PENDULUM DRAGON! TWIN SPIRAL FLAME STRIKE!" Yuya shouted as his shield's Odd-Eyes-like Dragon face and Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon's jaws both opened at the same time.
Then at the same time, both Odd-Eyes and [Odd-Eyes (Pen.) Dragon Shield] released from their mouths, two spiraling pillars of scarlet red and black flames at the Giant Zombie, which actually made a massive Meteor-like crash behind the monster and tearing any trees or massive boulders in the area to shrapnel, dealing an insanely massive total of battle damage combined together, but it seemed that the Giant Zombie still wanted to continue fighting.
Before it could do anything, Raphtalia quickly moved in and dealt the finishing blows with her sword, moving as fast as the wind, she was able to kill it without the giant zombie even knowing what had happened to it, if it could even think.
"Well done, kid." Yuya says giving Raphtalia a thumbs up. She pouted at Yuya calling her a kid. Yuya returned his Performapal Trampolynx, Performapal Partnaga, Stargazer Magician and Timegazer Magician.
Raphtalia gained [528 EXP] and leveled up to Level 22. And Yuya gained [416 EXP] from killing the zombie.
"A-Amazing!" A Villager said amazed by what he and the other villagers had just witnessed.
"Hurry up and evacuate. We'll handle things here." Raphtalia told the Villagers to evacuate the village for their safety. One of the villagers had slung the Villager that Yuya and Raphtalia first saved over his shoulder.
"All right. But both of you be careful." A Villager tells them, worried for the safety of their only two heroes. They then all began to leave Lute Village and head towards the mine.
After they had left, Yuya, Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes all walked closer to each other as they look out at the large horde of Interdimensional Zombies, Wasps, and Locusts.
"Their numbers aren't diminishing. Now what?" Yuya asked Raphtalia and Odd-Eyes what to do.
Odd-Eyes then sensed something and let out a growl and glared it's red and green odd eyes. This caught Yuya and Raphtalia's attention quickly.
"What's wrong, Odd-Eyes?" Raphtalia asked the Dragon what was making him act like this.
"Something's up." Yuya said getting into a defensive posture.
Suddenly, a multiple flames were shot up high into the air but they didn't look like a flares and looked more like fireballs and they seemed to be shot into the sky OUTSIDE Lute Village rather than inside. They flames all met up in the middle underneath Yuya, Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes.
"What is that?" Yuya wondered as he took on a more defensive stance as did Odd-Eyes and Raphtalia.
Suddenly, the flames exploded and reformed themselves into a large and numerous amount of flaming arrows as they all started to come down onto the village with the Wave monsters and Yuya, Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes still in the village.
Yuya immediately notice them coming down and quickly ran towards Raphtalia and hugged her closely to him, Odd-Eyes ran over and covered both Yuya and Raphtalia as the flames began to fall down onto the Village.
"LOOK OUT!" Yuya shouted as he covered Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes covered the both of them, a blue aura surrounded all 3 of them. Raphtalia blushed at how close she was to her Master Yuya.
Like that one scene in Disney Dinosaurs, flames rain down from the sky like meteors as they burned everything in the village to ash, nothing was safe from the flames. Monsters burned to ashes, Wood turned to charcoal, Stone became rubble, anything and everything not flammable was burned away. Yuya covered Raphtalia as Odd-Eyes covered both of them as all they heard was the screaming of the flames burning everything they touched down to the ground.
As the flaming arrows rained down on the village, Yuya, Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes suddenly heard the sound of someone laughing as they also heard the sound of metal clanking entering the burning village.
Entering Lute Village, was a group of 17 Guards that Yuya instantly recognized their armor as the same one as the ones the knights from the castle wore.
"We burned them all to death in a single strike." The Captain of the Knights said with a sick smile. He then noticed Yuya and Odd-Eyes. "Hm? The Shield Hero? You're pretty tough."
"They didn't even care about us." Yuya let out a growl, angered that the Royal Knight Captain didn't care about if anyone was still in Lute Village.
Hearing this, Raphtalia was suddenly overcome by a burning rage she couldn't believe that the Knights would do this and not care about if they were still inside the Village. Gritting her teeth as she glared at the careless Captain of the Knights.
Raphtalia was angry and unlike normally, it showed. Before Yuya knew what was happening, Raphtalia shot off of him and made a straight shot to the Knight captain talking, a man of below average build with a small mustache. Her blade was intercepted by his direct subordinate, a man with a large scar across his face. The man crossing sword with her was somewhat struggling to keep her at bay, which seemed to surprise him. The captain himself looked a little scared by how close the blade was from going through his mouth, he silently thanked his Vice-Captain.
"Did any of you know Yuya-sama was here? Did you do it deliberately? Depending on your answer, I'll have your head." Her face twisted in fury and her words said very calmly in contrast made for a threatening sight to behold.
The Captain then spoke, "I couldn't be sure why, but the monsters gathered very heavily here in this one location it seemed like a great chance to curl the enemy numbers. Either way, he came out well enough. So, what's the problem?" He said the last one in a mocking tone.
Yuya hated them too, but fighting each other during a Wave? It was Stupid. Raphtalia looked like she wanted to pursue the issue, but-
"Stop Raphtalia. It's as he says. The monsters were defeated and we are well enough. Drop it. We need to focus on protecting what little of this village remains, maybe we'll find of few holdouts that refused to evacuate."
Raphtalia didn't want to, but she relented and disengaged. The scarred man seemed not to take it personally and no conflict between the two groups was going to escalate further.
"Hmm. Much wiser than your criminal record would lead you to believe. Indeed. As long as you stay out of our way, we won't make any mistakes..."
Referencing his false charges, then adding a thinly veiled threat. He was trying and doing his best to get Yuya angry.
Yuya then noticed something coming right up behind the Knights and gave an almost evil grin as his eyes turned purple. "After all, the two of us can stay out of your way and watch as your forces eat shit. It'd be a good view from here." He said but his voice sounded like Yuri was now in control. His eyes then went back to normal.
The knights didn't quite catch what he meant until the shadows engulfed them. They turned to see more monsters, 3 of which were another one of those larger zombies. Before anyone could respond, the first axe came down and the unlucky soldier was thrown back and sunk into the dirt. It had to of hurt, but since they were wearing full plate armor and probably not the cheap kind, he would live.
"Don't panic!" The captain said in a panic. "Form up, shields out, mages in back!" No sooner did the words leave him did he see the second axe come down, this time coming towards him.
Yuya quickly ran in front of the Captain and parried the giant zombie's attack back with a block from his shield, causing it to start to fall. The Captain fell onto his rear in fright.
As the giant zombie fell back, Raphtalia ran up it's arm towards it's head and then sliced it's head off, then jumped towards the next one. While she did that, Yuya switched to [Rope Shield] and used [Hook] on the second ones' arm, then used [Bedrock] from his mastered [Stone Shield]. This bounded his arm, unable to raise it, before Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon came in and smashed it's skull in.
"Listen up! The three of us are going to buy you time! Use it to get into formation!" Yuya tells the Knights his plan as Yuya, Odd-Eyes, and Raphtalia all start at the horde of monsters ahead of them.
The Royal Knight Captain got back up to his feet and glared at The Shield Hero, The Demi-Human, and the Dragon with odd eyes in disgust.
Raphtalia rushed in towards the 3rd and last Giant zombie. The third ready itself to swing it's axe at Raphtalia, not caring about taking out it's other allies in the process.
Yuya switched to the [Animal Needle Shield] as he and Odd-Eyes rushed into the battle. The knights watched in awe as the last of the giant zombies was laid to rest in mere minutes with the bugs blown away by the shear force of both the Shield Hero and his pet Dragon. They also watched how amazing Yuya and Raphtalia were fighting together, the way they moved seemed less like a battle and more like a well-timed dance between the two.
Raphtalia decapitated a smaller zombie before Yuya blocked an attack from one with a spear heading towards her head. Raphtalia then attacked the zombie as the two were destroying monsters from left-to-right with Odd-Eyes using his full weight and speed to make short work of the vast amount of zombies, locusts, and wasps.
Raphtalia sliced another Zombie to pieces with her sword, as Yuya impaled multiple monsters with his [Animal Needle Shield] before swapping it out for his [Two-Headed Black Dog Shield] and using it's head to rip a zombie's arms off, Chewbacca style, Odd-Eyes crushed the monsters that Yuya or Raphtalia left behind and were still alive or attack them with his signature, Spiral Flame Strike.
Raphtalia then sliced a zombie in half down the middle as another spear zombie appeared and tried to stab her, but with her quick movement, she dodged the spear and got in close and decapitated the monster. Yuya blocked another attack at Raphtalia.
A young Juvenile Knight, named Ake, watched the fight with awe and amazement, he saw how well the three worked so well together despite two of them being vastly different species from the Shield Hero and was amazed by their incredible teamwork and them covering each other's weaknesses.
Yuya acted as Raphtalia's Shield when she couldn't defend for herself.
Raphtalia acted as Yuya's sword since he couldn't attack for himself.
And Odd-Eyes acted as both their Mace and Bow, a heavy hitter able to hit far away targets, as they acted as his Shield and Sword.
But the Captain of the Royal Knights, didn't share the same enthusiasm or excitement as Ake. "Tsk, Let the Shield handle this."
"Huh?" Ake questioned as he was taken aback by his Captain's words.
"We'll offer reinforcement to the Three Heroes!" The Captain of the Royal Knights told his other knights to leave Yuya, Raphtalia, and Odd-Eyes.
But as the Captain left with a couple of his Knights, some of the Knights, including the scarred Vice-Captain, stayed behind and watched the battle of the Shield Hero, The Demi-Human, and the Dragon.
Yuya saw the Captain and most of the Knights leave Lute Village and glared at their cowardice.
"All right, Go! You cowards!" Yuya shouted at them as he shoved a zombie away before it's upper torso got completely decapitated by Odd-Eyes' tail.
The scarred Vice-Captain let out a grunt, he had made his decision and he really hoped he wouldn't regret it later on in life.
"SOLDIERS! PHALANX FORMATION! SUPPORT THE SHIELD HERO!" The Vice-Captain tells the remaining Knights who stayed behind. Yuya, Yuto, Yugo, and Yuri all heard this as they all smiled.
"I think I'm gonna to like them." Yugo said with a grin, happy to see that not all the people in Melromarc were total asses.
"Nice to see not everyone here is hopeless." Yuto said happy to see people help them.
The remaining Knights all smiled as they heard their Vice-Captain say that and quickly got into a familiar Roman formation that Yuya learned back in his History Class at school when he at least tried to pay attention.
"PHALANX FORMATION!" 10 Knights shouted at once.
The Phalanx formation consisted of 10 Knights surrounding themselves, arming themselves with shields with only their feet and weapons sticking out, it was the ultimate formation since it was first created in the 16th Century and it seems to be true here if they still have it.
"TO BATTLE!" The Vice-Captain ordered them.
The Knights all rushed into battle, their shields all absorbing the blows and protecting their neighboring comrades and their weapons striking and killing monsters that got to close to them.
Outside the Village, The Captain of the Royal Knighgs and the remaining Knights that left Lute Village all heard their sounds of battle.
"Idiots! Forget 'em, let's go." The Captain told his remaining Knights as they left them to what they believe to die and went to support the other Heroes.
With Motoyasu, Ren, and Itsuki...
Ren, Motoyasu, and Itsuki were still fighting against the Chimera, their attacks dealing damage to the gigantic hybrid beast of legends. But, without a Shield to protect them, they were wide open to attacks that they could block or protect themselves from, but that didn't seem to mind most of them.
"ROOAAAAAARRRRR!!!!" The Chimera's Lion head let out a mighty roar.
Itsuki pulled back the string of his [Dark Rebellion (Xyz) Dragon Bow] as two arrows formed on that bow, draining 20 of Itsuki's SP, he took half of the Chimera's Goat Head ATK points and added it to the Bow.
"[MAULING MANDIBLE CHARGE]!!!" Itsuki shouted as he let loose the arrows at the Goat Head, dealing more damage that what he would have if he didn't use his Bow's Unique Ability.
Ren prepared himself and aimed his [Starving Venom (Fusion) Dragon Sword] at the Chimera's Draconic Head, the eyes of his sword flashed yellow.
"[LETHAL VENOM CHARGE]!!!" Ren shouted as he swung his sword at the Draconic head of the Chimera, the neck of the blade then extended itself revealing that this Sword's true form was actually a Whip Sword.
The Sword then attached it's horrific-looking jaws onto the Adams Apple of the Chimera's Dragon Head neck and started to take all of it's ATK and Abilities and add them to itself before it released it's neck and launched itself at it's foe, now dealing massive damage than before.
"I'll end this!" Motoyasu said as he aimed his [Clear Wing (Synchro) Dragon Spear] at the Chimera's Lion Head.
"Take this! [SPINSTORM SKY STRIKE]!!!" Motoyasu shouted as he launched both the spear and himself at the dragon in a spinning twirl as his whole body was surrounded by green storming winds.
The Chimera's Viper Head tried to use it's venom, but due to Motoyasu's Spear ability, it couldn't even do that to protect itself.
The attacks of [Dark Rebellion (Xyz) Dragon Bow], [Starving Venom (Fusion) Dragon Sword], and [Clear Wing (Synchro) Dragon Spear] all coming at the creature all at once, had dealt MASSIVE amounts of damage and killed the mighty 4 headed monster of mythology.
Back at Lute Village...
Moments later, after fighting for so long, the terrifying blood red sky turned back to it's peaceful blue sky. The portals in the sky vanished like they were never here. It seems that the Wave was now over and that they had won.
"Keep your heads up, just because the Wave is over, and their are no new monsters it doesn't mean that it's over just yet. There may be plenty of enemies left to deal with! Not only that but their may have been survivors here!" Yuya told the group. "First order of business, find any survivors that are still alive, and if you spot any monsters from the Wave, kill them. Do I make myself clear?"
"Yes Sir!" The Knights and Vice-Captain gave firm nods as they all split up into groups to try and finish off the remaining monsters left alive in the village and find any remaining survivors.
"You earned a good rest, Odd-Eyes." Yuya gives his Ace Dragon a pat on it's head, he then removed his Dragon's card from his [Duel Disk (Crimson) Shield] and placed it back into his deck. He then went to look for any survivors and deal with any stragglers.
He then wondered what the Cardinal Idiots were doing right now.
With Ren, Motoyasu, and Itsuki...
After they had killed the Wave Boss Monster, the Cardinal Heroes had surrounded the Interdimensional Chimera, they had removed their Extra Deck Monsters from the field after they were defeated in the last couple hours of the battle.
"That was a walk in the park." Motoyasu said with a smile.
"This Wave was a piece of cake." Ren commented.
"Yep." Itsuki agreed with Ren. "And the next one'll probably be easy, too."
"I mean did you see how we just came in on those monsters that we summoned, I mean, I was all like, "I call upon the dragon that glides upon the open sky and sails across the sea of clouds!", that was so awesome!" Motoyasu said with a smile.
"Yeah, by the way, why did you chant that?" Itsuki questioned as he and Ren did the same thing and they didn't know why, all they knew was that there were words appearing before their eyes
"I dunno, words just appeared in my menu and I had an urge to do that." Motoyasu shrugged his shoulder. "But you had to admit, that chant was so epic!"
"The same thing with you huh?" Ren said with a hand on his chin.
"Huh? You mean you two did the same thing?" Motoyasu asked with raised eyebrows.
"Yes, but ours were very different from yours. But they still held the same weight." Itsuki answered Motoyasu.
"Weird." Was all Motoyasu said. "And hey, don't forget about that light show we saw before our fight. What was up with that?"
"I never seen something like that in my life, and I've seen lots of things." The Big Knight with a handle bar moustache in Itsuki's Party, named Mald, said.
"It was so gorgeous to look at." Rino said. "It looked like the stars had pierced their way through the sky during the Wave."
"Whatever it was, it seemed to be powerful." Itsuki said. "Somehow, whatever it was, I had the same strength as the Extra Deck monsters we have."
"Maybe we can ask Yuya, hey, Yuy-" That was when the Heroes and their party finally noticed again that someone wasn't here with them. "Hey, has anyone seen Yuya around lately?" Motoyasu asked.
He was met with sounds of shrugs and disagreements about seeing the Tomato-like haired boy.
Myne walked up to Motoyasu and shoved her breasts next to his arm and chest.
"I'm glad he wasn't here, he would've held us back and we wouldn't have had as much fun!" Myne said, happy that the Shield Hero wasn't with them.
Motoyasu laughed in agreement with Myne, his cheeks red.
"For sure!" Motoyasu agreed with Myne.
"I dunno, he could have helped us against the Chimera's Snake tail attack, he did say he had the highest Defense stat and Magical Defense stat out of all of us the first night here." Itsuki argued against Myne.
"Not to mention, he had the highest Agility stat out of all of us, he even outclassed you in it, Motoyasu." Ren agreed with his friend, Itsuki, and looked at Motoyasu.
"So it shouldn't stand to reason he would be a hinderance to us. Since he could block many of the Chimera's attacks and reach our other party members faster than we can." Itsuki stated the facts.
The forest was silent after this, but it wouldn't last long.
"HEROES!" The Captain of the Royal Knights shouted, gaining their attentions.
"Huh?" Everyone present in the surrounding area looked to the owner of the voice. They turned and saw the Royal Captain heavily breathing as the two Knights that followed him joined behind, not even a sweat dripped from their faces unlike their Captain.
After catching his breath, The Captain of the Royal Knights stood back up proudly and smiled at the brave heroes before him.
"Job well done, Heroes!" The Captain praised the Cardinal Heroes.
"The Knights, huh?" Ren said intrigued to see the Knights of the Castle here.
"Isn't it a bit late to show up?" Motoyasu joked with a smile as he held Myne closely.
"Thanks for the help." Itsuki sarcastically said.
"Now, now, don't be that way." The Captain tells them. "His Highness has rewards for each one of you." He said with a bow. "So... shall we go?"
"Not yet, have you seen Yuya Sakaki by any chance, he must have been teleported here with us when the Wave started." Itsuki asked where Yuya was.
"The Shield Hero?" The Captain said. "He was at Lute Village when I last saw him."
"Why was he at Lute Village and not here?" Ren asked, wondering why the Duelist wasn't here helping them.
"Hell if I know." The Captain said with a shrug. But Ren and Itsuki could sense something else, and they would ask Yuya later when they all met back up in the castle. "Will that be all?"
"Yes, let us just collect our reward for killing this thing first and then we'll join up with you." Motoyasu said pointing his thumb behind him.
The Captain of the Royal Knights nodded his head as the Heroes absorbed parts of the Chimera and having decided who gets what.
Ren would get the Head of the Dragon.
Itsuki would get the Head of the Goat.
Motoyasu would get the Head of the Lion.
And, with some convincing from Ren and Itsuki, all three of them would allow Yuya to get the Head of the Serpent, just to be fair since they all got one head each.
Back at Lute Village...
With Yuya leading the way, the knights did great work. They swept through the main street of the village first, finding the holdouts that he hoped he was wrong about. They did find many stragglers from the Wave and dealt with them easily, they also found many survivors that had hide themselves underground, but for every survivor they found, they also found 2 more bodies of varying ages.
Yuya lowered his head at the lost of innocent lives, hoping that they had found peace in their final moments. The tears from his eyes threatened to stain his face as he looks at the corpses of once living people.
Yuya and Raphtalia had then split up. Yuya searched for survivors and began handing out medicine if it was needed. While Raphtalia was sent off to finishing the foes that remained after the Wave. She was told to prioritize the giant zombies, then the normal ones, then the bees, then lastly the locusts. Yuya, of course, ran into a few fights himself, but nothing too major. Yuya had a bit of trouble with the zombies, but at least the larger ones were all taken care of.
After they swept through the village, treated the villagers and made sure that they were safe. The two of them were exhausted by this point. They stopped to catch their breath.
"So, that was a Wave? Damn." Yuya said surprised by his first experience against a Wave of Catastrophe.
'And Raphtalia lived and survived through one of these and had the courage to keep fighting- No. I didn't give her a choice.' He looked up at her.
She was trembling as she stood there. Was he suppose to comfort her? What could he say to her? This trauma was his fault.
"Yuya-sama... we won, right?" She seemed lost right now.
"Yeah. We saved as many people as we could... There wouldn't even be a 'Lute Village' without you here. Good job." He placed a hand on her head. She let a few tears out as she reached around him and hugged him.
He didn't know what to do, so he kept patting her head. They stood there for a bit, partly due to exhaustion, partly due to not wanting to stop. Then they were suddenly interrupted.
"Um, excuse us, Shield Hero?" It was the woman and she was seen holding hands of two familiar Demi-Humans siblings, the same ones that Yuya saved from that Merchant with Handsamuraiger. Yuya and Raphtalia pulled away from each other and faced her.
"Hey, I remember you two. I see you got here safely." Yuya then looked around at the nearly destroyed Lute Village, a tower crumbled to the ground just after he said the word "safely". "Well, as safely as you could get." He lightly joked with a smile.
The two sibling chuckled at Yuya's light joke, they covered their mouths with their hands, but it couldn't stop them from laughing and smiling. Their laughs and smiles warmed Yuya's heart a bit, he made a promise to make everyone smile and it seemed that his promise is still going strong.
The woman, who Yuya guessed is the siblings Aunt, bowed deeply before him, holding his hands with hers. "Thank you! Thank you, so very much! We live by your mercy." She said it with sincerity.
Yuya considered this. While everyone hates him now, maybe by doing his part as a Hero... It seemed more than optimistic. He could settle with some people that won't hate or despise him. After all, it's not like he was staying here forever. Once the waves were over, he would be free. He'd release Raphtalia and return to his world. A world without all these terrible people and their blind hatred of him.
"Don't worry about it! It's nothing, really. I just-"
More people were gathering. The first man he saved, the holdouts they saved, the first woman's children, the village lord, who he intimidated into paying more a few weeks ago, and many many, many, more that lived in Lute Village. They all had the same thankful looks on their faces. And, nearly all at once, they all bowed deeply before him. All thanking him for saving them from the Waves when no Heroes or Royal Knights did.
"Thank you very much. Please accept our gratitude. There's no way we could've survived without your help and courage." The Village Lord thanked Yuya.
Yuya didn't know how to respond. He turned away from them and spoke. "Well, it wasn't me that ended the Wave. We were lucky that the other Heroes finished the fight."
"No, if you hadn't been here, we would never have been able to push those monsters back all on our own." The first Villager that Yuya and Raphtalia save, tells him.
"We'll never forget what you have done for us." The Viklager who first spotted Yuya on Odd-Eyes, said. He was standing next to his wife holding their daughter, which were the mother and daughter who Yuya used his [Shield Prison] on to protect them from the bees and locusts.
Yuya turned away, his face red with embarrassment but happy to see that they still thanked him. "Yeah, well, just... remember to keep on smiling, because like my dad always said, "If things get sad to the point you want to cry, just lift your head up and show off your smile"." Yuya tells them with a smile.
The Villagers all smiled at Yuya's wise words from his father and as the Villagers gave the Dueltainer another bow of gratitude for saving their lives. Quietly, they all left, and as they did Yuya gave a heartfelt smile as he watched them all go and try and repair their village.
"They all looked truly grateful." Raphtalia says to Yuya.
Yuya watches the sleeping daughter of the mother he had saved with a warm smile, he sees a smile form on her face.
"Yeah... I guess they do."
"Well, one thing's for sure at least. We did save some kids from going through what I did." Raphtalia says.
"Yeah."
"Master Yuya."
"Good job, Raphtalia."
"I killed... so many monsters."
"Yeah..."
Yuya slowly walks over towards Raphtalia and gently puts his hand on her head. Raphtalia starts to cry, but not in sadness, but in joy, that she was able to save children from losing their parents like she did.
Yuya gave a soft smile towards Raphtalia as the two stand there.
Afterwards, Yuya and Raphtalia went around the village to collect as many monster parts they could carry and feed them to the shield. Yuya had unlocked 4 new shields.

plus 2 def, plus 5 to rot resistance.
Back at the Church...
The last bit of sand inside the Dragon Hourglass falls to the bottom, but after it had hit the bottom, something started to happen, the Hourglass suddenly flipped itself over to where the sand that was at the bottom was now on top as the timer resetted itself for a month, sand fell from the hourglass and headed towards the bottom.
We get an ant view of the hourglass, the once majestic looking machinery not looked horrific with the two Ruby gems that spun now looking like eyes that were just looking down and judging YOU.
At the Clearing...
Yuya and Raphtalia made their way to where the Heroes had headed off to when the Wave first began. As they went, Raphtalia couldn't help but smile. They had saved a village and many people, they even acknowledged their efforts and thanked Yuya.
"There it is." They entered a clearing, but it wasn't natural. It was a man-made clearing, likely created in the battle. Yuya saw the large beast, It had 3 missing heads, but knew it was probably many times stronger than the giant zombies they fought. Yuya went around it cautiously, not getting too close. He noticed the large snake as a tail.
"Well, as least they were generous to leave a donation for us, huh?" Yuri sarcastically asked.
"At least they let him have something." Raphtalia countered Yuri, she didn't like Yuri's personality, but what could she do? Punch him?
"Raphtalia, I want you on the offensive in case this thing isn't dead, okay?" Yuya asked Raphtalia.
"Yes, Master Yuya." Raphtalia said as she readied her sword.
Yuya then slowly walked closer to the snake head, as soon as he got to it's face he saw it's cold, dead, lifeless yellow serpent eyes.
Then then aimed his shield at the Serpent's Head and slowly moved forward, the shield started to consume the monster piece by piece, chunk by chunk.

'Holy shit this shield is crazy powerful! My god!' His excitement faded though as he saw he needed to be at a higher level, 'Wonder when I'll be able to use it.'
"By how high our level is, I'd say, not for long." Yuri said looking at their Level.
After absorbing and gaining new shields, Yuya and Raphtalia went to work on cutting what remained of the Chimera into pieces so they could sell at Merchants and Resturaunts, they then left the clearing and started to make their way back to the kingdom, ready to sell the parts they had just collected. Yuya just hoped that nothing could ruin this day for him and her.

How did you think of me using the Duel Disk Weapons and the Heavenly Dragon Weapons in this story as well, I really like the idea of [Starving Venom (Fusion) Dragon Sword] being a Whip Sword as it's the perfect fit for the monster.
