-Abandoned City, Vale Dead Zone. Mistral/Vale border-
In a place known as the Vale Dead Zone, a series of abandoned ghost towns and cities left to crumble either during the Great War or before the Kingdoms in the Dark Age, a large jagged shard of Remnant's moon was off in the distance. The inside of the gargantuan fragment crackled with different kinds of energy not unlike those of Dust or even—some would claim—magic. It affected the soil, water, and even plant life around it.
In one of the abandoned cities, packs of Beowulf's prowled around the area looking for possible prey, some even searching a long crashed Bullhead that laid on its side for reasons unknown.
On a rooftop, a blond boy with an equally blond monkey's tail wearing a white button up shirt, blue jeans, red grappler gloves, and black sneakers stood, looking down at the Grimm, trying to figure out the best approach.
Hopping down from his vantage point, the boy ran across a few more rooftops as the Beowulf's continued to mill around, completely unaware of his presence, until he suddenly dropped down on top of one of them and beat it by crushing its head with the impact of his descent.
The noise got the attention of the rest of the pack, who looked at their new prey with hunger in their soulless eyes. The monkey boy brought out what looked like a collapsible staff and made a 'bring it on' gesture.
One Beowulf tried to charge at him, it's claws outstretched, but the blonde stopped it by stabbing his staff into the ground and using its bend recoil to deliver double kick to its muzzle and send it flying, before swinging himself around on his staff like a firehouse pole to take out two more that tried to jump him.
He then lands on his feet while collapsing his staff and putting it away before Crescent kicks a Beowulf into a collapsing wall, Shaolin double punches another through the same building, causing it to collapse. Because turning around and then using his tail and legs to grab a lunging Beowulf by its neck and shoulders respectively to flip into a handstand and German suplexing canid Grimm into the ground, causing it to crack.
Dusting himself off, the faunus goes over to the crashed Bullhead and hops down it, going to another section of this abandoned city.
After a bit of walking, he comes to a stop when more Beowulf's drop out of the various buildings around him. The creatures growling in anger as they smell the energy of their comrades on him.
The monkey faunus split his staff in half, turning them into nunchucks, but upon closer inspection, one can see they resemble guns.
As a Beowulf drops from the roof of a building, the blonde whips his gunchucks over his shoulder and shoots it in the head. This is then repeated twice over by him swinging and shooting the weapons at two charging wolves. With him swatting one out of the way before shooting it in the back, before blasting another to pieces with several rapid swing shots, and then shooting a third in the mouth with a back handed swinging shot.
A mutated Beowulf then decided to try its luck, and was met by a kick to the leg followed by several shots getting delivered to its torso, killing it.
The faunus boy then took out more of the lupine creatures with powerful kicks, palm strikes and even slamming a couple into a wall with his staff before loading his gunchucks with fire Dust and causing the chord to glow red. Turning to face one of the beasts, his eyes shined blue before he swung his weapons through the Beowulf's midsection, the chords slicing the creature in half like a hot knife through butter.
The boy then proceeded to leap into a pack of Beowolves and tore them apart, bits and pieces of them going flying everywhere. Soon there was only one left, which he stomped on as it tried to crawl away.
CRACK!
Seconds later a wall was destroyed by a large Alpha Beowulf, who roared at the boy, who cracked his knuckles with a defiant smirk, before…
RIP!
The large grim was then grabbed and torn in half by a massive Albino mutated Beringal, who had white, grey, and gold colorations and gold eyes.
The boy looked a bit surprised by the new arrival and its appearance before he got ready to fight. He then charged at it and tried to send a kick to its face, which it blocked. Following it up with several more kicks—which were also blocked—and then grappling onto its arm with his tail before delivering a haymaker to its face… only for it to grab him by the tail and swing him into the air like a sling.
"Son of a—WHOA!" The blonde said before spinning out of the way before a gold beam of energy that the Gorilla Grimm blasted at hit him and exploded off in the distance. The boy then landed on a nearby building and was followed by the Beringal.
The two proceeded to trade blows, both being almost evenly matched before the Beringal smashed the boy through the roof and to the ground. As the faunus got up, his opponent landed in front of him and tried to slam its fists down only for the blonde to narrowly block the blow. He then let out a chuckle as he activated his semblance, causing a clone to appear and kick the Grimm in the face, sending it stumbling back.
The boy then wound up for a strong roundhouse which he added onto by making one of his clones punch with him. This caused the gorilla to stumble back and then was met by several blows by the faunus's staff, before two clones punched it backwards, and then another low kicked its legs at the same time as the monkey faunus, who then used his tail to knock it off balance by grabbing its heel.
The creature got up again, but this time it was met by three clones kicking him before it was knocked on its back by a hard blow to the face by the boy's staff.
The faunus boy took a moment to load his gunchucks with fresh shells before the Beringal got back to its feet. As the lone blonde walked casually toward his target, he sent more clones at it to soften it up. He then had one clone help him leap into the air and dealt some blows to his Grimm opponent and knocked it back before he and a clone attacked the Beringal at the same time, knocking it down. Another clone then proceeded to drop kick it so hard, it landed in an underground cave.
The gorilla Grimm landed and looked up right as the boy leapt down to meet it and charged its energy attack inside its mouth, but the faunus saw this coming and readied his staff before one of his clones grabbed him by the leg and slung him down at the creature, the force of which caused him to break the sound barrier and land on its chest.
"Eat this!" He yelled before he stabbed his staff through the Beringal's mouth and back of its head, pinning it to the ground as it stood bending backwards and struggling as its gathering energy started to run wild. It continued building up before…
BOOM!
It exploded. The boy was thankfully able to leap away in time as he looked at the crater before he looked up at where he entered the cave.
"I'll be stronger than you one day, dad. Count on it." He vowed as he put his weapon away and walked off. As he did, he got a call on his scroll.
"Hey Sun, you there?" A voice asked.
"Yeah Neptune, what's up?" The blonde questioned.
"I'm stuck in the middle of a frozen lake… a bu of Gists in armors cornered me. Can you call for someone to pick me up? I got spotty service out here." Neptune asked.
"How did you-... Nevermind. Give me your coordinates so I can relay them to the pickup team." Sun sighed.
"Thanks man." The boy on the other end said as Sun continued on his way.
Dragon Emperor0: And they say Sun's nothing but a side character. Ha! Don't make me laugh.
ThermalsniperN7: Look at him now! He's a main character! How do ya like him now?! Anyway, he's not the only supposed 'side character' that's getting turned into a main one.
