Chapter 23: Operation Rescuing the Princess Part 1

(Insert: Naruto OST 2 – Confrontment)

Four days after their talk Tsunade could not sleep, the conversation between her and Fugaku left her shaken. They talked about the leviathan in which the latter found out the name of the said beast; Gojira. Fugaku explained how it resisted control from the Sharingan, he even went to share with Tsunade that he indeed unlocked the second stage of the Sharingan due to a death of a close friend however the Uchiha's were forbidden to help with the Nine-tails attack and instead help evacuate the civilians.

Tsunade questioned who was the one who authorized such a notion to which he replied was the council more specifically Danzo for fear that the Uchiha's would somehow take control over the fox then use it to raze the village from its foundation. The blonde busty woman started to see a pattern, the first AWOL Uchiha Madara was greedy for power if memory serves correctly, the Uchiha clan banish the said traitor, traitor vows to have revenge for the desertion from the clan. Grandfather tries to reason with said traitor but to no avail, Uchiha's live peacefully under her grandfather then comes her uncle.

Hates Uchiha, yet creates Konoha Military Police Force thought to be founded by the Uchiha clan only for it to be actually founded by the Second Hokage and was given to the Uchiha as a sign of trust and good faith between the Senju and themselves. However, some Uchiha's begin to speculate ulterior motive, Tobirama, however, dismissed this notion and stated he did this to keep the Uchiha's emotions in check and have the village benefit from their dedication at the same time.

Come in her sensei the Third Hokage and soon enough Uchiha's are kicked out of the government position and accounts are frozen and tension between clan and village start to rise. Though what broke the camel's back was the attack of the nine-tails thus prompting the village elders wanting to put the Uchiha under close surveillance. Minato's reign unfortunately is short-lived, now it is her problem to figure out how to ease the tension between the Uchiha Clan and the village.

Never in her wildest imagination had she ever thought she is put in a place where comrades will stab each other in the back just because you came from a certain clan or have a certain ability. Fugaku left her a warning if things do not start improving, he will have no choice but to talk to his clan elders to overthrow this Senju biased government, he will not tolerate any more injustice towards his clan. However, he is opting for an option that would satisfy the Uchiha Clan and the village with the least bloodshed route as possible. The time was ticking that much she knew but who knows how long she will have until a civil war. It was not a threat she takes lightly, a coup against Konoha will result in another Shinobi war, a war Iwa will gladly partake in should an agreement not be reached.

Normally she would send Fugaku to prison or kill him on the spot for speaking of treason however these were not normal times plus something like that would only further escalate tension not to mention she doesn't want to give Danzō a reason for segregating one of the founding clans' members. Besides, if the shoe was on the other foot, would she not do the same if her clan was in a similar position? That was one issue the other issue is little Sasuke, he as well as Naruto both contain beasts within them, something no doubt Danzō or the village idiots would love to weaponize, especially since the both of them unlocked rare Kekkei Genkai.

Though Fugaku's refusal for allowing Pakura-san training of his second son was not going unchallenged. The compromise of Fugaku was for Pakura to marry into a clan something very unheard. No Uchiha would marry outside of the clan, it was rare, so why bring a political marriage into this?

Over the next few days, they went back and forth, and the Uchiha Patriarch was not budging on his stance of training Sasuke which not only infuriated Tsunade but Pakura as well. He stated again that unless the Sand Kunoichi was willing to leave Suna for the ranks of being a Leaf ninja or marry into the clan she was not going to be training Sasuke. And since Sasuke was yet to be a ninja himself that meant Tsunade does not have the jurisdiction to force Fugaku to fork over his son since he is still considered a civilian.

Pakura stated she will have her answer within three days, and those three days are up. The blonde Hokage felt a major headache come upon her. Looking out her window she has been put in a very tight spot, not just two gaki's unlocking rare bloodlines, Gojira, the council, and a potential civil war… she felt that she was put in a tight corner between a rock and hard place. The question now; was there more of the leviathan or something like it and the answer to that question was yes but a baby one under Monarch's watchful eye as she been told by Dr. Serizawa and Colonel Foster as well there were more people from their organization have arrived.

Her fist trembled, this was going to be the biggest decision of her life, 4 years into the position of Hokage and she got to be faced with this? She really wanted to slam her fist against the wall, Minato and Sensei truly died to escape this!

A knock on the door, "Enter!"

"Good morning Hokage-sama."

She slightly turns her head to find Pakura bowing from the waist. She fully turns giving her the curtsey bow, another knock at the door.

"Enter!"

Uchiha Fugaku enters the room, his gruff face unimpressed that he was the Hokage tower instead of being at the police force. He bows to his superior and she bows again, Tsunade motions for both to sit down in the chairs.

The silence was deafening, you can cut the tension with a knife. No one said anything for a long time, Tsunade looked between Pakura and Fugaku. The two still had animosity towards each other yet this issue will be resolved given the answer that Pakura says.

A few minutes go by, Tsunade breathes, she looks at them both hard, she then makes serval hand signs for privacy. "Let us do a recap, during the negotiation between Sand and Leaf village several things happened; #1 I've been informed that Sasuke unlocked a rare bloodline meaning that not only will he have access to Sharingan but as well as Shakuton. #2 Pakura-san a kunoichi of the Sand has taken a keen interest in training the young boy, in which you Fugaku have stated that unless Pakura marries into the clan she will not be permitted to train Sasuke. We been in talks for the last couple of days, so which leads me to ask Pakura what your answer is?"

Pakura bit her lip, uncertainty crept in her bones, she was not too sure if she wanted to go through with this, however, the opportunity was going to slip through her fingers if she didn't act. Her mission from the Kazekage was to act as a liaison between the two villages while overseeing the training of young Sasuke should the Uchiha Patriarch accept so far, he been rough around the edges not given an inch.

It was marriage or nothing.

Swallowing dryly, she understood the risk should she accept this proposal, the Kazekage would not be happy about it neither. Then again when was Rasa ever happy? Since the death of his wife the man changed, once he was decent now, he is just a cold calculating Kage. She was not sure but another person with the same ability as her? She made her decision consequence be damned, she will cross that bridge when she gets there.

"Well?" Fugaku states impatiently, "What is your answer?"

"Lady Hokage, Uchiha-san…" She paused, "I will accept the terms, this is not a decision I take lightly nor will the Kazekage take the news gladly." She turns to Fugaku, "You are a very stubborn man, you purposely refuse to allow me to train your son because I am from a different village? You think your clan is the cream of the crop, let me tell you something that pride will be your downfall."

Fugaku unfazed by her declaration, stands, "Lady Hokage, if I may be excused, I have much to discuss with the clan elders as well as Itachi."

As he left Tsunade looks at Pakura, "Are you sure you want to go through with this?"

"To be honest I don't want to. I do this because I doubt anyone here has what I have and for that boy not to be potential bring harm to himself or to others."

"Pakura how old are you?" She asks

"14…"

"You are very mature for your age. And so young to be part of the Kazekage ANBU squad, then again, I will be a hypocrite if I would pass judgment. I will inform the Kazekage of your decision."

Meanwhile, at Uchiha residents, one Uchiha matriarch was blowing a gasket when she was talking to her husband when he came back from the meeting with the Hokage.

"Absolutely Not!" She yelled at her husband, "You are not going to be forcing Itachi into a loveless marriage! For kami sake Fugaku, he is only 10 years old! He's only a child."

"A child who is a prodigy Mikoto! He wears that headband signaling that he is old enough to take on the responsibility of an adult once he has that headband on in the eyes of the village and the clan, he is an adult."

The two of them sat in Fugaku study, Mikoto was just arriving home with some interesting news to her husband while her real and fake sons were away from the house. She seduced her husband and let's just say things got very heated at the moment. After several days, the young mother was starting to feel a bit uneasy with morning sickness, so she decided to go to the hospital.

When the doctors examined her, they confirmed that she was with child, she was ecstatic about the news, she could not wait to tell Fugaku at least this child would not be overridden by a being, not of this world. Time will tell which gender 18 to 21 weeks; despite her joy, it came crashing down when her husband said that Itachi was going to be marrying a foreign Suna Kunoichi.

"I forbid this from happening! Choose someone else for her to marry into the clan." She says

"There is something else too." Fugaku says crossing his arms, "Tsunade knows about Sasuke."

"…" This conflicted one hand she hated that man and on the other hand, this could spell trouble for the Uchiha's. "You told her."

"I didn't have a choice, during the trip to Suna she began to take notice of the seal that is on Sasuke's right shoulder blade. Did you also know that Sasuke has unlocked a second kekkei genkai?"

The faker has two?! Impossible! Simply impossible! Her baby boy's body owns two bloodlines! These two anomalies are changing everything! Still, that did not mean that she was going to be nice to him. 'Not in this lifetime neither the next to come.' Until she removes him from Sasuke's body he is the enemy, yet she will humor him for the sake of appearance.

"Dropping the subject on Sasuke, I want to discuss an alternative to Itachi!" She scowls

"You can't keep babying him, Mikoto!" He says matching her scowl, In the back of his mind, Fugaku knew that this conversation would be lengthy.

(Insert Naruto's Daily Life)

Sasuke was walking in hand with Izumi on their way to the academy per request of the Hokage, she wanted him to attend to begin his ninja career as soon as possible. Though Fugaku was hesitant at first to agree he relented given the unique circumstance the Uchiha patriarch found himself. Now he would have to more training, he sighed.

'More work…great…' He thought

"What's the matter Sasuke aren't you excited that you will be starting at the academy?" Izumi says with a smile

Sasuke looks up to the girl's gentle orbs, he gives a small smile but shrugs. Izumi pats his head, "Don't worry everyone is nervous on the first day so you'll be fine plus I hear that they a special program for you and Naruto and it's the time they are initiating it."

'Whoopie-do…' Sasuke rolls his eyes with a small frown

Izumi giggles, "You'll be making friends in no time you'll see."

When they arrived, they were greeted by a familiar redhead and blonde boy at the entrance of the school. Naruto's face turned into that of a Cheshire cat when he spots the other anomaly, he shouts his name waving at them. Sasuke gives his companion a short wave then fist bumps him, Kushina smiles however she was a bit peeved at the same time. She feels like Naruto is rushing things instead of allowing himself to enjoy the childhood one that he never got to enjoy, he was growing up way too fast. She really wanted to start his training around six to enroll him at eight which was the norm of entering.

Tsunade informed her though that he unlocked the Mokuton which to her shock caused her to reluctantly agree when he gave a demo of the skill. Still, that didn't mean she wouldn't be training her son, she wanted to teach him the arts of the Uzumaki sealing techniques.

"Hello Izumi-chan."

"Kushina-obachan."

When they stepped foot, they were greeted by children ranging from 8-12 years old in front of the school. Naruto scanned the area; he was not impressed by some of the stares of disbelief that is directed towards them. Sasuke looked around in curiosity, he could see some of the older girls going kawaii over him. This is a surreal moment for him as he looks up at the Academy. It is a huge building located directly at the base of Hokage Mountain. If his memory serves him correct this is the place where prospective ninja is trained and official ninja receive their assignments.

'As with any schools, I think they give the basic subject of math, science, reading, writing, and geography, etc. I do hope though we don't into trouble here, one can hope.'

They were greeted by two instructors, "Greetings welcome to the Ninja academy. We have been expecting you. We have been informed from Lady Hokage of your unique circumstances please allow us to give you the tour for the sake of the young ones."

Kushina eyed them carefully, they could feel the redhead's eyes on them and began to sweat, they feared her due to her temper. Plus, they heard what happened to someone as he was launched into the night sky by the red-hot habanero. They swallowed dryly.

"Let me make one thing clear before we begin." Kushina says with a purple ominous glow around her causing the two instructors to nearly wet themselves, "If I hear one of your teachers have treated my son or my nephew with animosity rest assured, you'll be hearing from me." She cracks her knuckles to make her point

The two nod their heads slowly, Sasuke chuckled. This is what Naruto needed since the beginning of the series a family to defend him. Then she became cheery again clapping her hands she smiles, "Great, now let's get started on the tour."

'Scary woman.'

The tour was brief about 15 minutes to get the kids used to the layout of the school, for Naruto he knew the ins and outs of the academy, Sasuke meanwhile knew daily repetition was necessary to ensure that he will remember shortly. The two were introduced to a recently promoted Chūnin one that the blonde was familiar with,

Naruto had to choke back a sob as he saw a familiar brown hair that is kept in a ponytail, dark eyes, and a scar that runs across the bridge of his nose. He wears the standard Konoha shinobi outfit complete with a forehead protector, sandals, and flak jacket. His sleeves are also rolled up about ¼ way. It was none other than Iruka Umino, Naruto rushed him catching him off guard, Kushina giggles at the baffled Chūnin.

She walks up to him patting his shoulder, she then whispers in his ear, "Please take care of my little Naruto-kun, yes?"

The young teen nodded his head slowly, unsure of what to make of this. He looks down at the young boy holding on to him, awkwardly patting his head.

The girls said their goodbyes, now Sasuke and Naruto were in the care of Iruka in a classroom separated from the older children.

"Alright, you two, this program is very new, and I am a new instructor to this so please bear with me as we begin to teach you the basic learning principles." He says nervously, "So let us begin with math…"

Naruto and Sasuke banged heads on the table, 'Math…it had to be math…'

Meanwhile in Suna Rasa was livid that his top kunoichi had agreed to marry into the Uchiha clan, he received word from advisor Baki who was given a letter from those strange strangers in uniform from Lady Hokage. He wanted that traitor's head on a platter, so he issued a meeting with his elders.

To say he was unhinged was an understatement, "I WANT THAT GOOD FOR NOTHING KUNOICHI DRAGGED BACK HERE SO I CAN HANG HER MYSELF! I WANT HER TIED TO STAKE SO I CAN WATCH HER BURN! HOW DARE SHE DO THIS BEHIND MY BACK!"

Many of his advisors sweatdropped, the Kazekage was a bit impulsive some believed however the elders of the village saw the opportunity. If they could convince the Kazekage of how ingenious this idea is then they could add a rare bloodline to their lineup. History is known that Uchiha's rarely if not; will not marry outside of their clan, unlike their Senju counterpart they were nomads either traveling as a clan or merging with other clans, very few have been seen in the last decade or so.

So, one of them spoke, "Kazekage-dono, perhaps this could benefit us in the long run."

"In what ways, Nishimoto?"

"Let's ponder this for a moment Kazekage-dono." The man with black stands, "Bloodlines are extremely rare here in Suna, after all, it is no secret that we are in the middle of a desert. Think about it; if we do not allow this to happen, we will not be able to bounce back. The Uchiha possess a visual prowess that only is rivaled that of the Byakugan or the legendary Rinnegan, the more bloodlines we have the stronger we will be."

Murmurs went around the council room, Rasa weighing the pros and cons of this situation, yet he did see the point his advisor was trying to make and if he can the Uchiha bloodline in Suna then the Uchiha would be more willing to cooperate but that is a big if!

"Fine! I will allow this transgression to slide seeing how this benefits us in the long run. Send word to Lady Hokage-dono that I give my blessings that this may strengthen out the bond between our villages and that Pakura-san will have duo citizenship between our villages."

And so, it was done.

Several months later December 27th
(Naruto OST 1 – Evening)

Kumogakure and Konohagakure were at war for the last three months. To put an end to the fighting, they agreed to a peace treaty to be signed. Coincidentally, the signing of this treaty coincided with Hinata Hyūga's third birthday. Sasuke and Naruto already planned how to stop this kidnapping and to show proof that Kumo did, in fact, send their top the head ninja of Kumogakure, as he was sent with an envoy to sign a peace treaty with the Leaf Village.

They felt no need to alert Kushina nor Mikoto who was beginning to show signs that she was pregnant with her third child. Though Sasuke was indifferent from the start Mikoto bragged how she would have a real child, not having some child taken over by another being.

As he was being fitted in a kimono Mikoto was being smug, which started to grate on his nerves, "You brag about having a real child Mikoto, is beginning to get on my nerves."

"Good." She says

Kay's eyebrow twitched, "I hope you realize that the baby you are having will look up to me as an older sibling."

"I am aware Kay, you will not poison my daughter when she is born you faker."

"I really wonder who truly is going to do the poisoning here; me or you?" He replies

Mikoto ignores him, she finishes the kimono then with her finger twirls it signaling to the young anomaly to turn around to make sure that it fits fine. Within the last several months the relationship between herself and the anomaly reached an unsteady agreement, she would train him to unlock Sharingan and master the arts of tree climbing and water running along with a molding chakra then she would pass him on to Pakura or soon to be Uchiha Pakura. The wedding between her and Shisui would be held at the end of December which was three days away right after Hinata's birthday.

Fugaku oversaw his training and then one day they noticed something very peculiar about his fire

Flashback no jutsu

Pakura could see that Sasuke held a lot of potentials, for someone so small he was resilient for training, captivated in her hands of doing a simple jutsu. She put him through some katas helping him increase his stamina and they are working on his fire style which was a primary for all Uchiha's.

Mikoto watched as she sipped her tea, she carefully watches his movements. It was as if he had some type of training before in the arts of taijutsu, then again this was no ordinary child, this was a man inside a body of a child this reason was plausible.

"Good Sasuke, now to make the fireball following my hands, watch closely I demonstrate to you the hand signs." She began HORSESERPENT RAMMONKEYBOARHORSETIGER. She inhaled deeply, "Katon! Goukakyuu no Jutsu!"

A red fireball explodes over the large pond, Sasuke could feel the intense heat, 'This is just as bad when they made us feel what the fire was like back the training center…'

Sasuke rubbed his head, he began to mimic the hand signs, HORSESERPENT RAMMONKEY? ... he lost track and was thinking about what came after that. He looks up to Pakura who rolls her eyes in amusement, she does it again slowly this time for him to see. After a few practice rounds, Sasuke nods his head confirming that he now has the hands-down. The first time he blew a raspberry

Mikoto rolls her eyes. Fugaku grunts in disapproval and Sasuke went red in embarrassment.

Facing the lake, he takes a deep breath then begins the process again, HORSESERPENT RAMMONKEYBOARHORSE…he holds at horse then something peculiar happens.

Sasuke begins to glow something that astonishes Pakura, Fugaku, and Mikoto.

The glow begins dimly then it starts pulsing and Sasuke glows brighter and brighter and then he does the TIGER sign and releases a blue fireball. He held the tiger seal to his lips and blew steam rose from the lake's surface where it almost grazed the water.

Everything rushed out of-his chakra, breath, heat, everything! The adults felt their eyeballs dry up as Sasuke produced a second sun just above the pond. It radiated such intense heat that the water level of the pond dropped.

With their mouths open while they blinked slowly. Pakura was seeing spots. Well, one giant spot that covered most of her field of view; she might as well be blind. Her vision returned and she saw Sasuke collapsed on the ground panting. A tree on the far side of the pond had a few branches singed.

Fugaku still recovery his stupor had no words for what he witnessed. One word though did come to mind.

"Blue…everything is blue…"

Mikoto is stunned as well, will her true son have a blue flame when the imposter leaves? Again, too many questions truly little answers.

"Well then…" Fugaku smirked, "That's my boy."

Mikoto wanted to gag yet she refrained from anything else. Sasuke rolled his eyes, he knew that the only reason Fugaku is paying attention to him was for the Godzilla that resides within him. If this weren't the case, he doubts Fugaku would pay any attention at all to his second son.

'Talk about child negligence.' Kay thinks

"From this point forward Sasuke, your title from the Uchiha Patriarch which is me will be Aoi honō no Sasuke," Fugaku says with pride, again Mikoto had to stomach the bile rising to her mouth.

"Sasuke of the Blue Flame." The future Uchiha wife nods her head in approval

"Great…"

End Flashback-Kai!

That was a month ago now he was invited to Hinata's 3rd birthday and the invitation was sent at the beginning of December, so he and Naruto got together to work out a plan among trying to get school work done as well. It was a pain to do so and if it was something that Kay really did not miss from his old life was schoolwork. Even though this was a necessary evil he didn't want to do this anymore than Naruto.

They arrived at the Hyūga Compound with a gift in hand, well Mikoto and Sasuke did, Fugaku did not want to attend. He saw the branch members, it irked him to see them like this but that matter he would leave up to Naruto to solve if Hinata does end up with him.

"Presenting Uchiha Mikoto and Uchiha Sasuke from the Uchiha Clan."

All eyes on them as they came near the little girl, Hinata was ecstatic to see Sasuke again.

"Happy Birthday Hinata." The young Raven-haired lad smiles and does a small curtesy bow to the young Hyūga heiress presenting her with a present and little magic flower he pulled from behind the ear causing her to giggle.

Hiashi's eyebrow raises as the young boy turns to the head and his wife becoming profoundly serious and bows. 'Interesting.'

"Presenting Uzumaki Kushina and Uzumaki Naruto."

A little while later Sasuke and Naruto meet up. They do not say a word leaving the party. They sit on the floor on the outside of the hall. They talk in soft voices not to arouse suspicion just in case someone would listen in.

"You got the stuff?"

"In my scroll." He responds, "Thanks to my mom for teaching basic sealing even though I already know how to storage items."

"Great. Now where the guy is going to strike?"

Naruto puts a finger to his chin, "If I remember correctly, I think Neji said something about the incident happening tonight since this is Hinata's 3rd birthday."

"I don't suppose Hiashi is willing to allow a sleepover, yes?"

Naruto had this face that said he doubted it; however, they were going to have to do something else Hinata was going to be kidnapped again thus resulting in Neji talking fate and the whole spiel.

The party went on for another two hours and introductions were made with Kiba who the same age is currently with them, laughing at Naruto for his antics of putting chopsticks on his upper lip making silly faces.

Kushina giggled watching her son from afar, Mikoto's eyes fixed on her 'son', Sas…no Kay was so serious not even a smile. She begins to wonder if this is how all Uchiha are with smiling or is the imposter way of not showing emotions.

She shook her head slightly, why was she worried it wasn't like that was her son. She was nudged by Tsume, "So I hear from a certain birdie you are going to have another child."

"What!" Miki clapped her hands, "This is wonderful news! Mikoto why didn't say something sooner?"

The Uchiha beauty glared daggers at her redhead best friend who was looking the other way as if she was not part of the conversation.

Within the plane, Hagomoro and Fate watched with seriousness as Sasuke and Naruto try to come up with a plan to stop Hinata's kidnapping. The sage strokes his goatee, "Hmm…"

"Penny for your thoughts?"

"This is Kay and Naruto's first test to see if the future will change or else it will go exactly the way it did." The Sage says

"Well, to be fair; everything has changed. With the arrival of the kaiju's, Kushina alive, the Uchiha clan fate remains a mystery. You are going to see shinobi use these kaiju like a tailed beast and much more."

Sasuke on the other hand frowned his mother is unhinged, then again if something like ever happened to himself, he would not know what to do. A fresh start may be but to be honest he was not too sure what he would do if the chance would be given. He could only watch as Kay was the number 1 enemy that mother would become obsessed with.

'What will that mean in the future?'

LXD: GAH! Finally, done with this part one. I'm honestly pissed off, renovations in my house, I have nowhere to go to write in and if I try to do this at my job it's an interruption after an interruption.
