Defeat

"You're finally mine, One For All!"

Le exploded forward, but he knew. It was too late. Shigaraki had won. And then, in a blinding explosion of light, it was over. Both were falling, but Midoriya's Quirk's lightning still surrounded his body. Lee exploded down after rhem, catching Midoriya and halting their descent, both watching as Shimura plumetted. Lee dropped to the ground with Midoriya, who'd lost consciousness, but as he landed, Shigaraki caught himself with the spikes from before.

"Which is this?" Lee growled. "And why won't you just die!?"

"Lee, I'm sorry, but I've been holding back a message from the girls," Legacy spoke up, the world slowing to a crawl as his implant activated fully.

"What happened!?" Lee asked urgently.

"Gigantomachia, the giant monster and ace of the Meta Liberation Front, is on his way," Legacy warned. "He's trampled all of the Heroes who tried to stop him easily, the League of Villains is on his back, and he's heading directly here. The girls are all okay, all of your classmates are, but Fat Gum, Majestic, Amajiki, and countless more are all down and unaccounted for."

"We're out of time," Lee said. "How long until he's here?"

"According to the news, which I'm watching on the laptop, less than ten minutes," Legacy warned. "He's moving at a hundred kilometers an hour. He's leveling anything in his way with no resistance. He can't be stopped with force."

"Electricity?" Lee asked.

"Only if you were at full power," Legacy said.

"So, we have to kill Shigaraki and then either escape along with all of the civilians or else find and prepare a way to deal with Gigantomachia all in under ten minutes," Lee mused. "What did Momo try?"

"Anesthetics, but it didn't work," Legacy said. "Thirty liters didn't so much as make him blink."

"Then we'll need to get more," Lee said. "How long would I need to run to Momo?"

"At the current distance, and with you restricted to only your base speed, if both of you started straight toward each other using Gigantomachia's path, it would be a six minute round trip," Legacy calculated. "No one here would survive."

"We'll have to try," Lee said. "Tell Momo and Kaminari to start heading for us. I'll need a recharge."

"Right," Legacy agreed. "Iida just announced Gigantomachia."

As the implant deactivated enough for Lee to rejoin the world, Todoroki were just throwing their first strikes at Shigaraki.

"I need to meet up with Momo and Kaminari!" Lee announced. "Six minutes!"

"Go!" Todoroki shouted.

"Run, don't fly!" Legacy warned.

Lee turned and exploded into motion, pushing himself to his absolute maximum base speed. Except, within a minute, he shot past Gigantomachia and realized the scope of the issue. He towered over the skyscrapers that his mole-style claws were ripping through, his eyes were shielded by a layer of his stone-like skin, his back bristled with enormous spikes the size of trees, and dead and wounded heroes and civilians alike littered the ground behind him among the debris. And worst of all, he was only a minute from the battle, not six, not five, not even three. Lee grit his teeth, began to pray, and focused on his run, pushing himself. Any time he lost contact with the ground, a blast from his jetpack returned him to it while giving him an extra burst of speed. Thwn, finally, he skidded to a stop as he met Momo and Kaminari, along with Mineta on Momo's back. Lee's exosuit retracted even before he'd fully stopped.

"Do it!" he ordered, even as he pulled out his remaining recharge disks and used them.

Kaminari's elecrricity, all he could manage to generate, slammed into him, being absorbed instantly, and Lee felt himself jump back to about three quarters. Then, he turned, Momo sticking a dozen anesthetics tanks to his back with the help of Mineta's Quirk. Then, Lee kissed Momo for only the briefest of moments before exploding off again, Legacy warning against him using his electricity or his jetpack this time. And then, finally, he returned to find a pleasant surprise. Mirio had arrived, Quirk and all, as had Best Jeanist. Best Jeanist had Gigantomachia bound with massive, braided, steel cables, and Lemillion was helping Hado, Bakugo, and Iida fend off a quartet of Nomu. Bakugo's explosions were on a whole new level now, also.

Lee skidded to a stop and vibrated himself, freeing Mineta's balls from his back before using his Quirk to safely catch and stack the canisters, then exploded into the air, slamming a punch down into a Nomu Hado was heading for, its body rupturing around his fist as it exploded into the ground.

"Hado, Bakugo, Iida, get to the canisters and be ready to feed them to the giant!" Lee ordered.

All three complied as two of the three remaining Nomu charged Lee, Mirio sending the last exploding into the ground with thw one Lee had already stunned. As the last two reached Lee, hia boots flipped him forward, a pair of axe kicks exploding into them, shattering bone, rupturing organs, and bursting flesh, and sent them exploding down on the other two.

"Lightning Bomb!" Lee roared, exploding down on them and frying all four instantly with his electricity.

He looked up at Gigantomachi just as the cables broke. However, just as he and the other four who'd been fighting the Nomu grabbed a canister and took aim, Endeavor slammed a punch into his jaw. And then, Gigantomachia followed Endeavor in crashing to the ground, shattering it.

"WHAT!?" Bakugo roared.

"It's been about an hour," Legacy said. "The drug's kicking in finally."

"Is one more fatal?" Lee asked.

"No," Legacy said.

Lee nodded to Hado, who sent her canister streaking into Gigantomachia's throat where it shattered against his rock-hard flesh. The others all set the canisters back down, Lee looking around again, taking note of the one other battle. Midoriya was helping Todoroki against Dabi, though both Midoriya and Todoroki seemed to be hesitating. Lee took a step forward, only for one of the Nomu's fist to explode into him, hurling him. In an instant, the others had returned to fighting, but as Lee skidded to a stop, Bakugo sank to his knees. Lee exploded into motion, drilling a blurred fist into the Nomu's side, and it exploded away from Bakugo into the one Hado was fighting. Lee exploded forward, and when Mirio sent his opponent exploding into them, Lee's foot blurred. Then, a snap kick severed all three necks, the heads bouncing away. Then, just as Iida sent his Nomu streaking at Lee, Mr. Compress was suddenly free, using his Quirk on Spinner and Shigaraki. Lee smashed the final Nomu to the ground and sent electricity screaming through it at his max speed, charring its body almost instantly, and watched as Spinner hurled the small bead, realizing Compress had used his Quirk to gouge out a huge chunk of his side and hip.

"Don't think you're the only ones risking your lives!" Compress shouted, leaping over Gigantomachi. "Now, let's get this show started!"

Best Jeanist instantly took control of Compress through the fibres in his clothes, but Compress's hand was ready, and he began to remove his clothes, along with chunks of his own body, with his Quirk, freeing himself. As he passed a long-haired person shouting for help while bound to Gigantomachia's back, he used his Quirk on him, as well. He began to cough up huge amounts of blood, which spewed from his mask, but kept running along Gigantomachia. Finally, he stopped in the center of Gigantomachia's back just as Dabi reached him, sealing him as well, then ripped his mask off, casting it aside.

"You need to keep an ace up your sleeve!" he shouted, having been muttering to himself the whole time he was running.

"I won't let you do anymore!" Mirio shouted, emerging from one of Gigantomachia's back spikes as Lee rocketted toward Compress from the opposite side.

"Now, let's face off!" Compress shouted, hurling a bead onto Machia's back and releasing Spinner and Shigaraki. "It's time for Mr. Compress's once in a lifetime escape show! Free admission! Enjoy the sh-"

Mirio drilled a punch into Compress's jaw, stunning him as Lee shot straight for Shigaraki, channeling electricity to his right fist. However, just as he and Mirio both pulled their fists back to strike, Spinner placed the vharred, melted remains of one of Shigaraki's original costume's hands on Shigaraki's face. Then, Shigaraki's eyes flew open, and a massive blast of compressed air charged with electricity exploded into them, hurling them. Lee reabsorbed the electricity from his fist before landing on his feet and skidding backward a few meters before being able to resist the wind.

"Tomura really has some good friends," Shigaraki said, All For One's voice overlapping his again, Shigaraki's body rapidly regenerating. "The heart is power. The stronger his heart holds onto his origin, the stronger my will becomes as I coexist within him. Do your best, Tomura. If he can use Radio Waves properly, then he can send specific signals to the Nomus. It might be hard for Tomura since he's just hatched, though."

Suddenly, a flood of Nomus passed Iida and the others, only for Best Jeanist's steel cables to bind them. Others flooded past, Lee struggling to stem the tide, only for one to smash him aside as he was striking another. Mirio, Todoroki, and Iida moved to attack Shigaraki, only to be repulsed, Mirio by way of All Fo One's black and red spikes stabbing into his back, and the others by a blast of compressed air. The Nomus Best Jeanist had restrained broke free as he reached his limits, and Midoriya raced after All For One, only to be repulsed by a much stronger blast of compressed air, being rendered unconscious instantly. Lee raced over to Mirio, who was unconscious but not permanently wounded. He sighed, glancing around at the others, then stared after All For One. The only person he's taken with him was Spinner, but he'd knocked out everyone who'd gone after him on the way. Lee couldn't fight him. Even in a weakened body, Lee couldn't win, and couldn't risk him stealing his speed Quirk to try. Not alone. In the final moments, in a handful of seconds, they'd lost. All For One had escaped in Shigaraki's body. Lee sighed, beginning to gather the others one by one.
