129. Construction At The Volcano

Toadette watched the ongoing Mario Kart 8 race from the top of the Grumble Volcano alongside Dry Bowser, noticing the construction that was going on at the base of the main volcano. She turned to the skeletal reptile, pointing at the construction sight. "Hey D-B, why are those Koopas working at this volcano?"

Dry Bowser sighed in annoyance as he rolled his left skeletal hand around. "It's because those dumb Koopalings don't know when to not leave something as it is." He shook his head as he turned around, revealing his charcoal shell and pointing out the tire tracks on it. "The smallest of them left these blasted tire marks on my back."

"Gosh, that's horrible!" Toadette admitted as she placed her hands on her face, "I never knew that Lemmy could get nasty!"

Suddenly the Grumble Volcano erupted, with Toadette screaming as she fell off the top, landing in a cement pit as she was stuck. Several of the Fire Bros noticed this as they pointed at Toadette and laughed, with Dry Bowser sighing as he placed his right boney hand on his face.

"Why are you so accident prone, kid?" Dry Bowser grumbled as he headed back into the volcano, not willing to put in effort to get Toadette out.
