AN: Yo, thanks to everyone who voted the first time! We got a tally of 62 voters over three platforms. Some of you made great reasons for your choices.

Here I'll post the top 10 choices from the least voted to the most voted options. Fifteen charms were dropped from the list.

The purpose here is for you to see what I plan to do with the charms, and you are welcome to revote. I don't want to make issues where someone only voted for a charm because they expected something that wouldn't happen.

So, here we go.

.

.

HONORABLE MENTIONS – a few charms people gave interesting answers for. DON'T vote for these.

/: Hot Air Charm – True, this could be OP in a lot of ways. The fire making charm and Atmospheric Charm kind make it redundant, but it could still be uniquely used in cool ways. I feel like I can imagine many worlds that have characters with powers like it, but I can't put my finger on it.

.

/: Hair-Growth Charm – Jiraiya anyone? And combining it with other charms could be fun. Plus Jin has fur now, so possibilities are there. Although, the charm is about 'growth' not undoing the growth. Wait, he still has the general reversal charm so nvrm on that. Hair growth fun!

.

/: Sticking Charm – Someone mentioned a 'Spider-Cat' and it made me crack up for some reason.

.

/: Erecto – I agree with you anonymous reviewer. Having a specific charm to set up a tent would be time saving. Sadly, the Locomotion charm exists. But we will achieve greatness one day!

.

/: Shield Charm – Someone made an argument that the shield charm is creating an energy construct, and I admit the concept of playing with that could be hella fun. But that gives me too much Green Lantern vibes.

.

HONORABLE MENTION: These two are the only ones I'm using my author privileges to include into the new list.

/: Amplifying Sound Charm – this charm's singular purpose is to increase the volume of whatever effected. The potential of this guy is scary. I don't think anyone needs me to explain it too much. Sound is powa.

.

/: Hour-Reversal CharmYou know, this guy has interesting potential. In canon, it was only ever used for the idea of transporting a user back in time. But what if the original purpose, without any time dust or a time turner, was to turn back the time on an object? You could say, just using the repair charm, but I think (don't quote me) that the repair charm needs the pieces that were broken to exist to repair something. And I would say the hour reversal charm could possibly return enchantments to objects. And an object wouldn't be stopped by the same dangers that could become an issue with a living creature. The limit here is mana, but with time, Jin can technically revert small objects to its past state. Also, Jin does have a 'little' time dust, so he could maybe send himself back for a couple hours in case of emergencies.

.

VOTE STARTS:

.

/: Option #1 in 10th place: The Atmospheric Charm- The Atmospheric Charm is a type of Weather-Modifying Charm. This charm can function indoors.

. So, this charm has incredible potential. But due to its style, I can only see this being used for large area of effect attacks. Due to this, I'll be making this charm have a very heavy mana cost for combat uses. If Jin could stay still and keep charging the charm while he had time to recover, it would be less of an issue, but if you wanted to fight with it on short notice, it's going to take a good while for him to reach a point where his mana pool is large enough to UNLEASH POWA, and all that. Jin has a good few elemental charms that can be used for less mana intensive needs.

. Also, if he ever learns a way to use some form of Runes (and no, HP runes are off the table), he could learn to enchant a biome or such for specific gardens, for changing weather patterns to have fun in like with snow, spring, etc.

My Inspiration for this power comes from one of my old fics where I made Biomes, Avatar, One piece – Nami, Xmen – Storm, Naruto – the real big elemental attacks like Sasuke's lightning dragon, and Skyrim.

.

/: Option #2 in 9th place: The Anti-Apparation Charm - Can be adjusted to block new teleportation powers after he is exposed to them and works on changing the formula.

. This one needs little additional info. As Jin travels and becomes exposed to more and more styles of Teleportation, he can keep tweaking this charm to create a temporary no teleport zone. Very useful depending on the world.

. Eventually, I can see this becoming some kind of spatial lock spell.

.

/: Option #3 in 8th place: Lightning Charm. – Shoot a thick bolt of lightning.

. This one would be mildly mana intensive. You can imagine it very similarly used to Skyrim style lightning. I would probably make this charm very dangerous for Jin to try and alter, because fucking it up could backlash VERY badly. But otherwise, Palpatine/Dragonborn lightning, have fun.

.Until his mana pool increases, he won't be spamming this. I would probably have it used more for taser like effects at the start as Jin's style revolves around being able to fight for longer and longer times rather than being a glass canon like Megumin. EXPLOSION!

.And like someone mentioned. Low voltage can = free electricity if that was ever a necessity or something.

.

/: Option #4 in 7th place: 15: Herbivicus Charm- The Herbivicus Charm is a charm used to rapidly increase the growth rate of plants and cause flowers to bloom.

. This one got a lot more love than I expected. Jin can use this to artificially cultivate herbs for sure. He can make them grow; NOT control plant life.

. Limits: He still needs things like rich soil, water, etc. All things a plant needs to grow. When he casts the charm, the plant would just rapidly absorb the nutrients needed for it to grow.

.The more special a herb, like some crazy wuxia plant, the more mana and special resources is needed for it's growth.

.It still has crazy potential, it's just not very combat applicable. Unless the plan is to KILL a plant, so he makes it grow rapidly until it runs out of nutrients and kills itself.

.

/: Option #5 in was actually tied for 5th: Area Stun Spell-The Area spell is a charm used to conjure an omnidirectional shockwave that stuns all opponents in a small radius.

. This ones kinda tricky cuz Jin has charms for stunning, but I get why its useful separately.

. Firstly, its omnidirectional, kinda like pain from Naruto, but not nearly that powerful.

. Secondly, the possibilities for combinations are powerful, cuz making other charms omnidirectional has awesome potential. I will say that combinations with this would make it have high mana costs.

. Thirdly, the basic use of this charm is moderately cost effective. I would say that using a Stunning Charm by itself would be faster, cheaper, and easier to power up, but that's for a single target. This charm would take longer, be more pricy depending on how strong you wanted it, but the result would still be a spreading sphere in all directions. Anything without a defense or a power of their own would go night-night.

.VERY useful for modern worlds like MCU.

.

/: Option #6 in was tied for 5th: Muggle-Repelling Charm- The Muggle-Repelling Charm was a charm that repelled Muggles from an area.

. This one is always fun. This is the REAL charm that stuff like Fanon spells [Notice-Me-Not] was based off of.

.This charm is perception based. To those without some kind of energy OR supernatural talent OR incredible willpower, this charm makes anyone who enters its area of effect simply side step the area without noticing anything. If the charm was used in an area with people, those affected would feel the need to go do something that takes them away from the area.

.Can be used to clear an area, keep people away, or perhaps with Advanced use, hide things in plain sight.

.WEAKNESS: It does nothing to electronics'. If someone looked through a camera, they would still be affected. But if someone looked at the recording, they would see everything. Or maybe I should say that looking through a camera nullifies it? Options there.

.

/: Option #7 in 4th place: Fidelius Charm – A fan favorite. It really is OP, but it's canon and I'm down with it.

. This charm will initially only ever be able to be used on a stationary location. Maybe sometime in the future, Jin can overcome that, but for the time being, only stationary locations.

.The charm has a heavy mana cost, but since he doesn't need to use this in combat, he can stand still and cast as long as he needs to. With that said, the more well known a location is, the higher the mana cost, and I will say that casting a SINGLE spell for a long time will mentally drain Jin heavily. The 'Focus' aspect of casting. Jin needs to concentrate on the charm, and if he is disrupted mid cast, it could all fail.

.Once in place, the location is basically an amped up Muggle-Repelling Charm, but electronics can't see it (or maybe they should?), and everyone, even with their own powers to defend themselves, will be affected.

.I could add a limit here like those above a certain strength above Jin wouldn't be affected, Or maybe I shouldn't, I'm sure everyone prefers that it's a staple effect, but for now, I'll ignore this. At some point in the future, I'll return to this question when Jin gets involved in plots, not like he has any way of knowing it didn't effect someone until it happens.

.

/: Option #8 in 3rd place: Scarpin's Revelaspell- Scarpin's Revelaspell is a charm that is used to correctly identify the ingredients of a given potion. Can also be used to identify poison/venom in food, with the exact kind being understood if the caster is familiar with it.

. My headcanon for this is kinda, and I say that with hesitation, kinda similar to [Identify] from gamer stories, but only for ingredients in consumable resources. It will NOT work for identifying random items and stuff that he can't consume. I would say it's targeted at working only for things the user can consume and to what effect, for good/bad.

.There is the question of if he should have to know about the material before his charm will give him any information.

.Another option is that he casts the charm on stuff, and it glows different colors based on the result. Like it glows Green for safe, red for unsafe, purple for unsure, etc.

.NOTE: In world 2, Jin will be training himself to become immune to poison slowly and painfully by giving himself gradually larger doses of various poisons, and letting his body recover. It's important cuz his goblin silver axe will be poisoned, and he needs to be immune to whatever's on it in case an enemy manages to hit him with his own weapon.

.Let me know if you have a better idea for this charm, and I'll be open to reconsidering it.

.

/: Option #9 in 2nd place: Unbreakable Charm- An Unbreakable Charm is a charm that makes an object unbreakable.

.WOW, people love this guy. This is a tricky charm to input into the story, but I get why people want it.

.The biggest limit I can think of is that the larger/heavier the object, the more mana it costs to make something unbreakable.

.the other limit is that it's a temporary effect. The story is 100% dead if Jin could make his clothes unbreakable permanently. Hell, I never even saw anyone in canon use this on organic material like their bodies. Can it be used on organic material? That's an interesting question.

.I could say that its based on how much of an impact he receives. Like its an unbreakable shield, but the heavier the impact, the more mana is needed to fuel it.

.So, what are the actual uses of this charm? Temp make things unbreakable. Survive crazy shit, momentarily increase the durability of something like his axe, claws, clothes, etc.

.Again, if he learns some kind of enchanting or runes, we can consider the concept of him imbuing objects with the effect permanently.

.

/: Option #10 in 1st place: Space Expansion Charm. – People REALLY got into this charm lol.

.For starters, we have to look at what canon does with it, and that's expand the space inside a room, trunk, bag, etc. Outside of Newt's suitcase, there were real limits in canon. Newt's suitcase was something extraordinary to the magical world of HP.

.So I would say the first limit of this charm is that it needs to be cast 'Inside' something. Like a room, a building, a bag, a pocket, etc.

.Next of course, the bigger the room, the more the mana. In canon, there were legit limits to what a space expansion charm could do. If you wanted to expand more space, you needed a bigger starting space to work with. A bigger room = a bigger expanded space.

.Many people made comments about using it in combat, and I would say it depends. When you expand and contract space, you wouldn't hurt organic life. When its used in canon it just expands the room, not the furniture, plants, people, etc. BUT, what if someone was in an expanded trunk, and you happened to destroy the trunk? Bye-bye to that person. It would probably be good to make something permanently unbreakable before you choose to hide in expanded space.

.The cool thing about this charm, is that it will teach Jin a lot more about how 'spatial' effects work. In time, he can learn to weaponize this charm. Maybe even teleport himself because he moves the space around himself rather than 'himself'. At even more advanced levels, we can think about pocket dimensions hidden in space like layers, not even needing a container.

.

End. That's all I'm throwing out. Pick FIVE final options. The vote comes into effect in the next chapter, so no more time to change stuff.

A few extra questions:

The Portkey Earing. A lot of people made comments on it. I'm actually very open to changing it to a necklace or a piercing. If anyone has a suggestion, feel free to recommend.

This will be a symbolic image that always reminds Jin of Fleur. Hell, we can make it a tattoo if you guys want.

.

Is there anything else you want Jin to buy with the remaining 1,500 gold Gorluff has? My plan is that Jin will get all 5 charms from the Black Family library. Gorluff will be going off screen to a black market auction, where he can buy ONE or TWO valuable items with the money. Maybe a bag of time dust? Dragon Blood, Pheonix Tears, Elemental dust (RWBY), I lack idea's lol.

.

I feel like there's something else, but I got nothing on my brain rn.
