The following day, after Chibiusa had awoken her teammates and kittens to ensure they weren't severely wounded, she ran into Helios's arms, sobbing! "Helios! I'm eternally grateful you saved me, my sister, and some of our Senshi, but I can't believe I lost my Outer Senshi!" Chibiusa wailed.

"Chibiusa, I deeply apologize; I couldn't protect all of you. However, I will do everything I can to aid you in rescuing them!" Helios vowed.

"You turned into Pegasus to best defend us, thank you..." Chibiusa croaked hoarsely, wiping her tearful eyes.

"Chibiusa? Jewel and her Senshi are waking up." Perle called from a side door as he knew Chibiusa and Jewel would want to see each other first thing. Relieved, Chibiusa tidied up her face and headed into the room. Jewel was sitting in bed, petting Elizabeth and rubbing Selina to calm herself from yesterday's events. Jewel's Senshi were yawning and stretching.

"Hey...How are you feeling?" Chibiusa sat down at her sister's bedside.

"Hey, sis. I had the best sleep, filled with dreams of a candy-coated world!" Jewel laughed.

"Called Diabetes Land..." Shadow grumbled.

"Shadow..." Dawn mumbled, a warning tone in her voice to try to have a bit more class around the princesses.

"Are you and the others OK, Chibiusa?" Ivy asked.

"Well...Myself, Inner Senshi, and kittens are OK, but my Outer Senshi are...gone." Chibiusa began to tear up again as Jewel hugged her.

"We'll do everything we can to help and compensate for your lost teammates." Though her mind was still hazy and sad for Chibiusa, Star spoke firmly.

"I appreciate it." Chibiusa sniffles.

"It's OK. I'm sure you'll feel better after you have some breakfast." Jewel tried calming her sister.

After some pancakes, which made Chibiusa feel nostalgic as it reminded her of Ikuko, she is indeed feeling a little better. Surprisingly, Melaine was also feeding the Outer Senshi breakfast, though she did not know how to cook. However, there are several edible berries and fruits in the forest you could eat raw if washed first, which Alexis took care of.

"ALEXIS!" Of course, the first thing Holly did was bawl and throw her arms around Alexis, claiming she was never letting her go again.

"H-H-Holly, I'm alright, really." Alexis stuttered, subtly unlatching Holly's bracelet to relieve her of the gem's curse.

Through Melaine, Alexis learned about the jewel's curses and considered escaping. However, she sensed Melaine was suffering inside and wanted to help her. Trisha and Emily felt this differently but remained warier regarding the Fae woman. Also, they did not like the fact she was the one who convinced Perle to curse them!

"How dare you trick a pure-hearted boy into cursing my teammates and my sister!" Finally, finally, Holly is back to normal!

"I wasn't the one who cursed them." Melaine tried to justify her innocence.

"You still knew they were cursed!" Emily blurted out.

"I didn't plan on the curses lasting too long. You're all still alive." Melaine picked up an apple from the pile of food she had gathered.

"Do we have to die to prove a point?!" Trisha raised her voice.

"You're not going to get an apology from me. We're not on the same team if you remember correctly." Melaine laid back as she munched.

"That's a good way to choke," Alexis commented.

"What do you care?!" Melaine jumped to her feet and stormed off.

"Is she...coming back?" Emily asked.

"Give her time to cool off. Then, if we have to, we can look for her later after we eat." Alexis popped a berry into her mouth.

Melaine returned on her own, surprised the girls had not attempted to run away. This did make her uneasy. Why did they willingly stay? At the Crystal Palace, Helios tried to discuss his concerns about the strange woman with Helena.

"Sister, are all Dream Fairie,s only male?" Helios asked delicately as they had afternoon tea in the garden.

"For many years, yes," Helena replied.

"Did you have any daughters?" Helios questioned.

"Why do you ask that?" Helena became a bit hesitant.

"Please, answer my questions." Helios pleaded.

Very well. One, I had one daughter...30 years ago. Her name is Melaine." Helena revealed.

"Melaine...What happened to her?" Helios hugged his sister, hoping to calm her and get more info out of her.

"I let my guard down! She escaped to Earth's surface like Perle, and I never saw her again!" Helena burst into tears.

"That's why you're so protective of your sons," Helios concluded.

"I can't bare any more of my children falling into the hands of darkness. I don't know where my beautiful girl is now. My heart aches to think she might be scared, lost, alone, cold, or hungry..." Helena dissolved into more silent tears.

"She seemed fine when I saw her." Helios smiled softly.

"What? How do you know if..." Helena is bewildered her brother knew her daughter if she wiped his memory of her.

"She is the one who took Chibiusa's Outer Senshi, and I bet she is behind the other strange occurrences too. So why did you make me forget her?" This is the main reason Helios wanted to have tea with her.

"After what I went through, I didn't want anyone risking their safety. Or worse, their lives, looking for Melaine. That should be my job. So I figured it would be better for you and my sons to forget about her. I'm so sorry, Helios!" Helena hugged her older brother, praying he would forgive her.

"I understand why you did what you did, Helena. But that wasn't the right way to go about it. Now that Melaine's back and I doubt she's done, we should prepare to confront her. She needs to see her family again." Helios declared, and Helena could not help but agree. Regardless, she feared what her sons would think when they learned about all this.
