The "date" with Edwina hadn't gone as planned. Because of this Edwina, the nurses went on strike (in a sense) and would have nothing to do with the guys until they found someone for Edwina. She was nice enough but a little ditzy. But Hawkeye would take ditzy if it meant getting his past time back. A guy could only go so long at the 4077 without the pleasures of life. He beamed with pride as Edwina entered his tent, prepared for who knows what. But he didn't count on injuries, and Hawkeye had narrowly escaped becoming a patient.
