Chapter 30: Friend Like Me
Hey everyone I'm back with a new chapter. Sorry about the wait. I realized I had to do a few things and change the order of my chapters around so be ready for the next Monster High real soon. In the meantime, I based this one off one of my all-time favorite movies. I am also thrilled to say I have over 300 followers and favorites! Thanks guys you rock. It was early in the morning at Monster High, Xylene was being brought to the Plumber lab.
"Since you already have experience with the Omnitrix it's only right that you help out in the Plumber part of this school rather than the school." Rook said showing her to the lab.
"Incredible, this school is so sufficient that almost everyone has a role here." Xylene said impressed.
"Yep, by using the same tactics we used to help Aliens live on earth we're slowly helping the monsters learn to live among humans one day." Rook explains.
"No wonder the Plumbers are so driven to help. If monsters can be accepted aliens can't be too far behind." Xylene realized as she approached Matthew who was talking to Max on-screen.
"Exactly. This school could be a huge step for us." Matthew said.
"Xylene since you have the most knowledge of the Omnitrix, we're assigning you to help Drake with mastering the watch." Max said.
"I suppose I should. I was assigned to protect the Omnitrix and it is attached to Drake." Xylene said.
"Not to mention he's your grandson." Matthew adds.
"That too." Xylene sighs.
"How goes being a grandparent?" Max asks.
"Not easy, how do you boys do it?" Xylene asks.
"In a word, patience. You can't rush this sweetie." Matthew said.
"Just be patient and give the boy some time." Max suggests.
"You think that will work?" Xylene asks.
"Certainly can't make things as bad as when you two first met." Rook said as the three of them glared at him. "What? It's true."
Meanwhile in another part of the school, Drake was in the Creepateria having breakfast with all the ghouls except Cleo.
"Man, we really need to adjust the school schedule mates. I'm exhausted." Lagoona yawns as grabbing a mummy mocha.
"Yeah maybe add an extra hour before classes." Clawdeen agrees when Jinafire walks in.
"I don't see the harm, this morning I was able to create quite the design when I saw the sun rising over the mountains." Jinafire said showing them a sketch of a dress with colors that mimic a sunrise.
"Wow Jinafire, that's pretty good." Frankie said impressed.
"So colorful." Draculaura said.
"Think you and I can get to work on this later today?" Jinafire asks looking to Clawdeen.
"You know it ghoul." Clawdeen smiles.
"Wow Jinafire, this looks really good. Hope I can see it when you finish." Drake smiles.
"Uhm of course. No problem." Jinafire smiles.
At the smoothie station, Ben was sitting with Kai as he tried to figure out his homework.
"Ugh carry the one and subtract? Man Drake's parents are tough." Ben groans.
"It's easy, just follow the formula." Kai points.
"Uh like this?" Ben writes.
"Now you're getting it." Kai smiles.
"Alright." Ben smiles.
"So the Omni-Trackers are planning to expand. You think you and I should try to join?" Kai suggests.
"Not a bad idea, I could use some time away from this place. Plus Drake needs another guy friend watching his back. The only other guy on that team is Kevin." Ben said.
"Well at least you want to help him for the right reasons." Kai said.
"Hey speaking of the team where's Cleo?" Ben asks.
In Cleo's room, Cleo was putting the final touches on her hair.
"Aw perfect." Cleo smiles when her iCoffin started to ring. "Who could that be at this hour?" Picking it up, Cleo answers. "Hello?"
"Hello Cleo." A female voice on the other line said causing Cleo's eyes to widen.
A few minutes later, Cleo's screamed echoed throughout the whole school startling everyone.
Yelping Jinafire ended up clinging to Drake in fear until it died down.
"Well if I wasn't awake, I am now." Lagoona said.
"What the heck was that?!" Frankie said adjusting herself.
"That sounded like Cleo." Draculaura said as Drake looked to Jinafire.
"Uh Jinafire, you can let go of me now." Drake said.
"Oh uh sorry." Jinafire blushes embarrassed when the door swings open revealing Cleo.
"Ghouls emergency! Right now!" Cleo said with a panicked look on her face.
"Whoa, Cleo what's going on?" Drake asks.
"Yeah breathe into this." Kai said handing her a paper bag and Cleo grabs it and breathes into it.
"Cleo what's wrong? What's happening?" Drake asks.
"I'm in trouble, my sister and my father want me to come home immediately." Cleo said.
"I didn't know you had a sister." Frankie said.
"That's because she's pure evil and I wanted to get as far away from her as possible. Why do you think I was the first to answer Draculaura's vlog? I needed to get away." Cleo said.
"Come on Cleo, she's family, she can't be that bad." Clawdeen said.
"Oh trust me she is. She is pure evil, she always has been ever since I was little." Cleo said.
"Okay but why do you have to go home?" Ben asks.
"My father wants to talk to be about something important. If anything goes wrong he'll never let me come back here." Cleo said.
"Well then you need to tell your father why Monster High means so much to you." Jinafire said.
"I guess, Drake, Ghouls will you come back with me to talk to him?" Cleo asks.
"Of course we will." Frankie smiles.
"Why would you even ask?" Lagoona asks.
"Great…now help me get Drake presentable." Cleo said.
"What?" Drake said confused.
Soon, they were in the library as Cleo explained the situation to Dracula as she wrapped mummy wraps along Drake's arms.
"So basically we need to go back to my home for a few days to convince my father why I should stay here." Cleo said working her way around the Omnitrix. "Okay hold still, I need to make you at least somewhat resemble a mummy." Cleo said.
"Well I can certainly understand a father being protective about his daughter over her decisions." Dracula said looking to Draculaura who chuckles nervously. "Are you lying to them is the right call?"
"Cleo why do we need to disguise Drake?" Lagoona asks.
"Yeah aren't you forgetting something?" Drake holds up Omnitrix.
"Oh you and I both know we can never trust the timer on that thing." Cleo said.
"That's…actually a pretty good point." Drake admits.
"But why do we need to do this?" Frankie asks.
"Because if my father finds even the slightest reason to keep from coming back to school he'll use it and having a human companion is more than enough." Cleo said holding up gold jewelry. "Hmm which one suits Drake?"
"Hmm." Waking over Clawdeen examines them and slips a bracelet on Drake's right arm and a scarab necklace around his neck. "There, now this looks good."
"Not bad Clawdeen." Frankie said.
"Yeah Egyptian is a good look for you." Draculaura giggles causing Drake to blush.
"Cleo, are you sure about this?" Drake asks.
"It's just until we can assure my father that there is nothing wrong." Cleo assures.
"What do you think dad?" Draculaura asks.
"Monster High needs the support of the Monster community. If a parent of a student is having doubts it's up to our committee to put his mind at ease." Dracula explains.
"That's us." Frankie said.
"Alright, guess we better go back to Egypt. Can you give us a name?" Lagoona asks as Draculaura took out the mapalogue.
"Ugh…Nefera that's my sister." Cleo groans hating the mention of that name.
"You guys will call us if anything crazy happens?" Drake asks.
"Count on it." Dracula nods.
"Alright, Nefera, Exto Monstrum!" All 6 of them said before they were teleported away.
Landing back in the desert they managed to land on their feet this time.
"Yes! We finally stuck the landing!" Frankie cheers.
"No more helmets!" Clawdeen howls.
"Remind me to thank Julie for all her help." Drake said.
"Crikey, Cleo you lived here?" Lagoona asks covering her eyes from the sun as Cleo led them to her pyramid.
"Yep, and needless to say when I was brought to Monster High we had quite the surprise." Cleo said.
"Surprise?" Lagoona asks.
"Oh yeah, you weren't with us yet. You see when we went to bring Cleo to Monster High, a few alien bounty hunters came after us trying to get the Omnitrix." Frankie said.
"They chased us all over the pyramid until Grey Matter dismantled those things." Frankie said.
"And I walked out with this." Drake smirks taking his hoverboard out of his backpack.
"If it wasn't for them, we would never have known about the world of aliens." Draculaura said.
"Wow, so cool." Lagoona said as they walked up the steps to Cleo's tomb.
"Okay remember, all of you on your best behavior. We want to make sure Daddy's big news doesn't end with me being forced to leave." Cleo reminds.
"Don't worry Cleo, we promise your father will love us." Drake assures.
"Alright, but remember watch out for Nefera. She's evil." Cleo said in a serious tone.
"We got it ghoul. Now open up." Clawdeen urged.
"Alright just don't freak out." Cleo opens the tomb and when they enter they gasp to see a beautiful golden palace with multiple smaller tunnels all around it.
"Cleo, is that your home?" Lagoona said in shock.
"Yep, tomb sweet tomb." Cleo said leading them in.
Walking towards the palace, Drake and the ghouls looked to see multiple Jackal guards standing at attention as they walked by.
"Wow these people really roll out the red carpet for us." Frankie said.
"Not us, me." Cleo sighs.
"Cleo, is there something you never told us?" Clawdeen asks.
"Well you see, I'm kind of a princess here." Cleo admits as they entered the palace.
"Cleo De Nile has returned!" A mummy announced blowing a trumpet.
"Yes, I am here. Where's my father?" Cleo asks as the mummy points down the hall to the throne room.
"Thank you." Draculaura said as the mummy glares at Drake suspiciously.
"It's okay they're with me." Cleo said grabbing Drake and pulling him down the hall.
"Let me guess, still don't like humans?" Drake assumes.
"Since humans are the reason we stayed locked up in this tomb for a few millennia some still hold a grudge." Cleo admits.
"Yikes, good call with the mummy makeover." Clawdeen said.
"Just in case though, you might want to stick close to us." Draculaura said.
"Noted." Drake nods moving closer to her.
Smiling Draculaura couldn't help but like this.
"Well, well look what the sandstorm dragged in." A female voice said causing Cleo to growl.
Standing by the door, they saw a mummy girl with long green hair in a ponytail and lots of jewelry.
"Nefera." Cleo glares.
"Uh hi, you must be Cleo's sister. I'm Draculaura and this is Frankie, Clawdeen, Drake and Lagoona. We're the Monster High welcoming com—"
"Cleo you really shouldn't let your subjects speak without permission." Nefera interrupts.
"They're not subjects, they're friends." Cleo said.
"Yeah, Cleo's even on the committee with us." Clawdeen said.
"You acutally are a part of all this?" Nefera mocks causing Clawdeen to growl.
"Clawdeen take it easy." Drake whispers.
"Come on, daddy's very eager to see you again." Nefera said walking in.
"Okay, I don't like her either." Clawdeen said.
"She's mean." Lagoona said.
"No, evil." Cleo repeats.
"Cleo, your sister may be mean but I'd hardly call that evil." Frankie said.
"You don't know her like I do, trust me it's only a matter of time before you see her true colors." Cleo said.
"I hope we don't stay here long enough to see that." Drake said as they opened the door to see a man completely covered in wrappings showing only his boney fingers, mouth and blue eyes. On his head was an Egyptian headdress and a brown suit. This was King Ramses De Nile, Cleo and Nefera's father.
"Daddy. So good to see you again." Cleo said.
"Cleo." He acknowledges when he noticed her friends. "And who are they?"
"We're the Monster High Welcoming Committee. And Cleo's best friends." Frankie introduced.
"I see, well then I suppose I should thank you all for helping my daughter." Ramses said.
"It's no trouble at all Mr. De Nile." Lagoona said.
"But I'm sorry to say Cleo will not be returning." He declared shocking them.
"What?!" Drake gasps.
"Daddy, it's not fair. I like going to Monster High." Cleo said.
"Cleo, I'm sorry but my retirement is coming closer and I need to find you a fiancé so you can take over. As the next in line you need to be ready." Ramses said.
"No! Absoultey not! No fiancé! I cannot leave Monster High." Cleo said.
"And why not?" Ramses glares while Nefera smirks.
"You see, the reason I can't is…I already have a boyfriend." Cleo said getting everyone's attention.
"And who is this young man?" Ramses asks.
"Uh…" Cleo pauses and does the only thing she could think of. "He's right her." Cleo said pulling Drake forward. "Drake, sweetie this is father. Daddy, this is Drake my boyfriend."
"I am?" Drake said surprised.
"He is?" Frankie, Draculaura, Clawdeen and Lagoona gasp.
Leaning in Cleo gives Drake a big kiss on the cheek causing the ghouls to growl silently.
"You're kidding me? Cleo of all people has a boyfriend?" Nefera drops her jaw in shock.
"Hmm and a mummy boyfriend of all things. This is very interesting." Ramses said.
"Father you can't be serious." Nefera gasps.
"I am, Cleo." Ramses stood up. "Bring your boyfriend to dinner tonight. I am very interested in meeting the monster that charmed my daughter."
"Yes, daddy we'll be there tonight." Cleo said.
"Excellent, I'll have a feast ready." Ramses said.
"May I have a word with you?" Drake asks looking to Cleo.
Minutes later, they yanked Cleo into another room.
"What was that?!" All of them snapped.
"I'm sorry I panicked." Cleo said.
"Cleo, Drake cannot be your boyfriend!" Draculaura snaps.
"You two aren't even dating!" Frankie snaps.
"Seriously Ghoul not cool." Clawdeen snaps.
"Cleo you need to tell your dad the truth!" Lagoona snaps.
"What they all said and more! This is insane." Drake said.
"I know, I know…wait, why are you also so concerned about Drake's love life?" Cleo asks causing them all to blush.
"Uh we're not. We're concerned about…" Frankie starts.
"You lying to your dad." Clawdeen said quickly.
"Yeah that's it." Lagoona said.
"Cleo, you can't lie to your dad forever. What if he finds out I'm a human?" Drake asks.
"I'm sorry but when he said he wanted me to come back and get married I-I just couldn't take it. I came to Monster High to have friends, escape this tomb. Please just go along with this until tomorrow." Cleo begs.
"Alright, fine." Drake sighs.
"Oh thank you Drake." Cleo smiles giving him a hug causing the other ghouls to twitch annoyed.
Little did they know on the other side of the door, Nefera was listening in on the whole thing.
"A human? Oh Cleo you sneaky little brat. I could use this to get what I've been trying to get for years." Nefera grins evilly.
As the sun was setting, all of them were sitting down for dinner and Ramses had insisted Drake and Cleo sit together next to him. Needless to say both were nervous as he was eyeing them both.
"So Drake, tell me how you and my daughter met." Ramses said.
"Well I was actually in the group that brought Cleo to Monster High." Drake admits.
"I see, so you're the ones that brought Cleo to your school." Ramses said.
"Yeah, Cleo's been a great help. She even organized our school dance. She has real knack for ordering people around." Lagoona said.
"Of course she does. As a De Nile she is of royal blood. Ordering people what to do is second nature." Ramses said.
"So Cleo, how long have you and Drake been dating?" Nefera asks.
"Oh uh, not very long. Just recently." Cleo said.
"Very recently." Clawdeen said before ripping a big bite off her chicken leg.
"Well I certainly hope you don't think I'll approve your marriage just yet." Ramses said causing Lagoona to do a spit take and Draculaura to bend her fork in half.
"Uhm it's a bit early to be thinking that far ahead." Drake said.
"I see, so tell me. What is this school's purpose?" Ramses asks.
"Well Mr. De Nile, Monster High is all about teaching Monsters to come out of the dark and learn to live among humans one day." Frankie said instantly he tightens his fist.
"Humans. The very creatures that drove us into hiding." Ramses growls. "If I ever saw one I'd bring the wraith of the nile down on him."
Hearing this Drake whimpers softly as he slowly scooted away from the angry Pharoah.
"But daddy, things have changed. People don't fear us like they used to." Cleo said.
"Humans can't be trusted Cleo. They are sneaky, lying and destructive creatures who don't care about anything but themselves." Ramses said making Drake turn a little pale.
"Well, Drake tell us a bit about your family." Nefera smirks causing the Ghouls to freeze.
"Yes, what kind of kingdom do your parents rule over?" Ramses asks.
"Uhm…none." Drake admits.
"Drake's parents are scholars." Draculaura said quickly covering for them.
"Y-Yes, in fact they're professors at our school. Best teachers there." Frankie adds.
"I see." Ramses said looking at Drake making him a little uncomfortable.
"You know what? I think I need some air. Be right back." Drake said getting up and walking out.
"Wow, Cleo looks like your boyfriend isn't very good under pressure." Nefera said.
Narrowing her eyes Frankie flicks a small spark zapping Nefera. "Ow what was that?!"
"What was what?" Frankie asks playing casual.
"I'm gonna go check on him." Cleo said getting up.
As she walked out, Ramses turned to the other ghouls. "So tell me more about this Monster High mission."
Gulping the four of them nervously looked at each other nervously.
"Well sir, you see—" Clawdeen starts.
As they talked no one noticed Nefera slip away.
Walking out of the room, Cleo saw Drake leaning against a balcony looking down at everything.
"Drake? Is everything alright?" Cleo asks.
"Cleo, I can't keep lying like this. I'm gonna get caught and your will kill me." Drake panics.
"Drake calm down." Cleo said taking his hand. "Take a deep breath, you've taken on worse things than my father. Moanica, Darkstar, Vilgax." Cleo lists.
Taking a deep breath Drake felt a million times better.
"Thanks Cleo." Drake said.
"Better?" Cleo asks.
"Much, even if we are pretending you are a very caring girlfriend." Drake said causing her to giggle.
"Well I do have my moments." Cleo smiles proudly.
As she turned to walk away she ended up slipping on a tile.
Gasping Drake grabbed her arm and caught her.
Looking up at him, Cleo gasps seeing the moonlight reflecting off him and needless to say he took her breath away.
"You okay Cleo?" Drake asks.
"Uh…" Cleo blushes.
"Cleo. Cleo?" Drake said snapping her out of it.
"Oh uh yes, I am fine. Thank you." Cleo said fixing herself. "I-uh I'm gonna go back to dinner."
"You go ahead, I'm gonna hang here for a little bit." Drake said.
As Cleo walked in she didn't notice that Nefera grin evilly.
"Wow, quite a spectacle." Nefera said walking to him.
"Nefera?" Drake said.
"You did not make the best impression with daddy back there." Nefera said.
"I didn't?" Drake said surprised.
"Are you kidding? If you hadn't panicked and ran out Daddy might have banned Cleo from ever going back to her dumb school. But lucky for you I know a way to help." Nefera said.
"You help me? Why?" Drake asks.
"Since Cleo has gone to school this place has been so peaceful. I don't want to give it up. And lucky for you there is one sure fire way to get on everyone's good side." Nefera said.
"I'm listening." Drake said.
"Meet me outside the palace in 10 minutes. I'll take you to it." Nefera said walking out.
Pausing Drake went back to his room and grabbed his hoverboard.
That night, Nefera was leading Drake to an old tomb.
"Inside this tomb is a very special lantern that is a special family heirloom. But sadly no one has ever been able to get it, if you can bring me back that lantern I guarantee you all your problems will go away." Nefera explains.
"So why hasn't anyone ever gone in and gotten it before?" Drake asks.
"Sadly the tomb is filled with too many traps and no one ever makes it to the lantern." Nefera said.
"I'll be right back." Drake said walking in.
"Good luck…you're gonna need it." Nefera smirks.
Making his way inside, Drake loosened the wrappings around the Omnitrix.
"Alright just gotta find this lantern." Drake said when steps on a tile and it sinks activating a trap.
From a hidden panel and giant stone boulder shot out.
Yelping Drake slams on the Omnitrix creating a blue light just as the boulder smashed down on top of him.
Seconds later, Ghostfreak flew through the boulder.
"Well I was going for Frankenstrike but I guess this works too. I'll just float right through all these traps." Ghostfreak chuckles continuing forward.
Making this through the tomb, Ghostfreak saw multiple patches of gold and jewels, a more than his fair share of skeletons of previous people who entered the tomb.
Finally Ghostfreak arrived at the end to see tons of riches and priceless artifacts.
"Oh man, people bury the Egyptians with style." Ghostfreak said when the hourglass icon beeped turning him back into Drake.
"Well it got me to the end good enough." Drake sighs. "Now where's that lantern?"
Looking around at the multiple piles, Drake saw something shine in the corner.
In the back on a lone pedestal was a golden lantern.
Slowly making his way up, Drake grabbed the lantern.
"This is it? This must be some precious family heirloom." Drake said lifting it up when a hidden switch went off. "Uh oh."
Suddenly the whole tomb started to shake violently and collapse.
"I think that's my cue to get out of here!" Reaching into his bag, Drake throws his hoverboard our and races towards the entrance.
As chunks of the ceiling rained down Drake swerved and dived trying to avoid being crushed.
"Why do all tombs rig themselves to explode?!" Drake whines when a stalagmite falls down hitting the hoverboard causing Drake to fall down just short of the entrance.
Running in, Nefera saw Drake struggle to climb up.
"Help me!" Drake said.
"First the lantern." Nefera said.
"Help first." Drake insists.
"Do you really want to argue now?" Nefera asks.
"Fine." Growling Drake holds up the lantern.
Grinning Nefera bent down to take it, but when she put a hand on the lantern she moved another hand down to his wrappings. "Then again. Why would I help a human?" Nefera declares pulling the wrappings off his arm.
Eyes widening Nefera stomped down on his arm making Drake cringe in pain.
Raising her foot one more time she ended up stomping on the Omnitrix.
As Drake's grip began to slip, a blue light came from the watch releasing a powerful defense blast knocking Nefera off and causing her to drop the lantern.
"No!" Nefera tries to grab it but the lantern fell down into the tomb along with Drake.
Seeing the entire tomb collapse Nefera had no choice but to run out before she was trapped.
"Ugh dammit! I lost my only shot at it! Thanks to that human I'll never get another shot at it!" Nefera snaps stomping her foot in anger. "Well then Cleo, no more nice big sis."
Back at the palace, Cleo was in her chamber laying on her bed thinking about that moment between her and Drake.
'I know I just said we were together to fool daddy but why did that feel so right?' Cleo thought when she heard a knock at her door.
"Come in." Cleo said as the door opens revealing Draculaura and Lagoona.
"Hey Cleo have you seen Drake?" Lagoona asks.
"Not since dinner, why? Is something wrong?" Cleo asks sitting up.
"He sent us a text saying he was going to see about doing something nice for your dad, but he hasn't come back yet." Draculaura said.
"My dad? What could that mean?" Cleo asks confused.
"All we know is he took his hoverboard with him." Lagoona said.
In his throne room, King Ramses was lost in his thoughts.
Suddenly the door opens revealing Nefera with a tearful expression on her face.
"Daddy, I have horrible news." Nefera said in a dramatic tone.
"What is it Nefera?" Ramses asks when Nefera holds up Drake's mummy wrappings getting his attention.
Back in the tomb, Drake was laying on the ground groaning in pain as he woke up.
"Oh my head." Looking to the hall, he saw it was caved in. "Ugh dammit, that sneaky Nefera. Cleo was right she is pure evil." Drake said getting up. "Once I figure a way out of this cave she is gonna get it."
Picking up his hoverboard Drake tries to find a way out when he stepped on something.
Looking down it was the lantern Nefera tricked him into getting for her.
"All that trickery for this old lantern?" Drake said picking it up. "Geez so dusty." Blowing some dust on it Drake rubs it causing the lantern to glow bright. "Whoa maybe that's why."
Shooting out of his hands, the lantern emits a bright light and from it a female monster with pink skin, hot pink hair styled like a scorpion's tail, a half blue-half pink crop top and harem pants.
Greetings finder." She said.
"Are you kidding me?" Drake drops his jaw.
"You have found me; how may I serve you?" She smiles.
"A genie in a lamp. So that's why she sent me here, she wanted the this for herself." Drake facepalms.
"Uh, are you okay?" The genie asks curious.
"Sorry uh just dealing with something. So what you're a genie?" Drake asks.
"Correct, I am Gigi and I live to serve you." Gigi bows.
"Wow uh okay, well Gigi my name is Drake Rogers." Drake introduced. "So let me guess, you're here to grant my 3 wishes?"
"3? Try 13 wishes." Gigi chuckles.
"13 wishes?" Drake said surprised.
"Correct." Gigi said when she noticed his clothes. "Wow, you sure dress differently than my last finder."
"Last finder? Gigi how long have you been in that lamp?" Drake asks.
"Hmm don't know a few thousand years give or take." Gigi shrugs.
"Okay this is beyond insane." Drake groans.
"Ooh I've been wanting to do this for a long time." Gigi said excited.
Pointing her fingers Gigi made multiple self-playing instruments.
"What's going on now?" Drake asks.
"Master I don't think you quite realize what you got here." Gigi said sitting him down in a chair. "So why don't you just ruminate while I illuminate the possibilities."

(Well Ali Baba had them forty thieves Scheherezad-ie had a thousand tales) Gigi created a door and 40 thieves ran out and surrounded Drake.

(Instrumental) Using a veil dance, Gigi yanks Drake onto the dance floor with her and they were dancing in total sync before Gigi made the outfit disappear and Drake appeared in his normal clothes.
(Can your friends do this?) Gigi points in one direction and they see one Gigi run up the walls and do a backflip 360.
(Do your friends do that?) Pointing in the opposite direction, Drake sees another Gigi lasso a chair and yank it in for Drake to sit down in.
(Do your friends pull this out their little hat?) Reaching into a hat, Gigi pulls out her lantern and drops it into his hands.
(Can your friends go poof? Well, looky here) Disappearing in a puff of smoke Drake looks to see Gigi was now holding him in the palm of her hands.
(Can your friends go, Abracadabra, let 'er rip And then make the sucker disappear?) Turning Drake back to normal he and Gigi sit down in a big comfy chair.
(So dontcha sit there slack-jawed, buggy-eyed I'm here to answer all your midday prayers You got me bona fide, certified You got a genie for your chargé d'affaires) Appearing in her hands was a certificate saying she was the real deal.
(I got a powerful urge to help you out So what-cha wish? I really want to know) Leaping out of the chair, Gigi catches Drake and puts him up right.
(You got a list that's three miles long, no doubt Well, all you gotta do is rub like so - and oh) Creating a giant list, Gigi spun it around causing Drake to spin with it.
(Mister Rogers, sir, have a wish or two or three I'm on the job, you big nabob) Pulling Drake in Gigi playfully winks at him before cupping his cheek
(You ain't never had a friend, never had a friend) Snapping her fingers tango outfits appeared on her and Drake before she grabbed his hand and they danced all over causing fireworks to shoot up.
(You ain't never had a friend, never had a friend You ain't NEVER…HAD A…FRIEND LIKE ME!) As they danced, Gigi fired multiple wishes causing elephants, giraffes, and tons of other animals and people who joined in the dance.
(You ain't never had a friend like me, hah!) Snapping her fingers, Gigi made all that disappear making Drake find himself back in the cave as Gigi took a bow.

"Whoa, quite the fancy song and dance number." Drake admits clapping his hands.
"Had a lot of time between masters to practice it." Gigi said.
"So until I use all 13 wishes I'm your master?" Drake asks.
"Correct but before you start there are a few rules you need to know." Gigi said.
"Like what?" Drake asks.
"First, no wishing for more wishes. 13 is all you get. Also, I can't kill anybody or bring people back from the dead. It is not pretty." Gigi cringed.
"What about wishes that involve love?" Drake asks.
"I would strongly avoid that area. Last time a Master asked for everyone to love them it got crazy. I'm talking obsessive and I know I can't tell you what to wish for but I would also suggest staying away from large amounts of money and power. Trust me on this, that one never ends well." Gigi said.
"So anything else you'll grant?" Drake asks.
"Exactly." Gigi nods.
"Well I really wish we weren't trapped in this cave anymore." Drake said.
"As you wish." Gigi said as a bright light engulfs them and Drake and Gigi appeared outside the tomb on the outskirts of the palace.
"Okay that was pretty impressive." Drake said.
"I am at your command Master. Summon me and I will appear." Gigi said.
"Well you don't have to keep calling me Master. Just Drake will be fine." Drake said.
"Very well. You have 12 wishes left Drake." Gigi said.
"12 wishes huh? Well as much as I want to talk about this, we need to get back to the palace. Something is going down and I might need your help, Gigi." Drake said.
"Lead the way." Gigi said as Drake activated his hoverboard. "Ooh that is one fancy flying carpet."
"Hoverboard actually. Get on." Drake said as they flew back to the palace.
The next morning at the palace, Cleo, Frankie, Draculaura, Clawedeen and Lagoona were forced into the throne room by guards.
"This is unacceptable! You cannot just handle me and my friends like this! I am a De Nile!" Cleo said.
"What is going on here?!" Lagoona snaps.
"What's going on is your little lies are over Cleo." Nefera declares getting their attention.
"Nefera what did you do?" Cleo glares.
"Your sister unconvered your lies Cleo." Ramses said holding up Drake's mummy wrappings. "Drake was no human he was a human and he tried to rob me!"
Shocked all the ghouls gasp.
"Nefera found your human trying to rob one of our oldest tombs. Fortunately she stopped him before he could escape with anything." Ramses said.
"No! Drake would never steal from anyone." Draculaura said before covering her mouth.
"So you were all in on it." Ramses glares standing up. "You knew he was a human and you lied to me?!"
"Daddy I swear, Drake only did it because he wanted to talk to you and convince you not to let Cleo leave Monster High like the rest of us." Frankie said.
"He's not like other humans. We swear." Lagoona said.
"Cleo I should have you confined to your room for a thousand years and as for you." Ramses turns to the ghouls. "Give me one reason not to lock you all in the dungeons!"
"Allow me to handle them daddy." Nefera grins as her mymm
"Cleo I take it all back, your sister is evil." Clawdeen said.
"I told you." Cleo gulps in fear.
From the window, Drake and Gigi peeked inside and ducked down.
"Oh man that girl is evil. She was the one who originally wanted my lantern?" Gigi asks.
"Pretty much." Drake said.
"Yikes, kinda glad you got it instead." Gigi cringed.
"We gotta get into that palace and help them." Drake said.
"Ooh what if I made you a prince? I can make you come in on an elephant with a huge parade singing about you. Ooh how do you like the name Prince Djali?" Gigi offers.
"That won't be necessary." Drake said quickly. "Look we can't cover up this lie with another lie. We gotta get in there, take down those guards and bust Nefera. Do I have to make a wish for you to help me fight?"
"Actually you lucked out, this is sort of a grey area. Meaning if they come after me too, I can give you a freebie and help fight." Gigi explains.
"Good enough for me." Drake said.
As the guards were about to take them, Nefera walks up to her sister.
"You know for so long I was waiting for an opportunity to make daddy realize I was the better one to rule and wouldn't you know Cleo you figured out a way to hand it to me on a silver platter. If it's any consolation your human friend is probably long gone by now." Nefara said.
"Better check your facts again Nefera." Drake said leaning against one half of the large door surprising everyone.
"Drake!" All the ghouls smiled as he walked in.
"I see you didn't explain how you were the one who tricked me into trying to steal for you before trying to kill me." Drake said.
"What? Daddy he's obviously lying." Nefera denies.
"You're not welcome here human." Ramses glares.
"Sir, your daughter has been lying to you all this time. Nefera set all this up. So I'm gonna give you a choice." Drake turns to Nefera. "You can tell the truth and we can do it the easy way or the hard way."
"Guards!" Nefera orders as the jackals aimed their spears at him.
"Guess it's the hard way." Drake activates the watch and slams down on it turning into Snare Oh.
"He changed shape?" Ramses gasps surprised.
Firing bandages out Snare-Oh grabbed four guards and threw them against the wall.
Sneaking in behind the ghouls Gigi taps on the jackals guarding them.
"Huh?" They turn to see Gigi with a cannon aimed right at them.
"Surprise!" Gigi declares firing it sending the two guards flying through the wall.
Gasping the ghouls look to see Gigi run to them.
"Hang on I gotcha." Gigi said freeing them.
"Who are you?" Draculaura asks.
"A friend." Gigi smiles.
Throwing the last guard to the ground, Snare-Oh turns to Nefera who had her mummy wraps ready.
"How did you get out?" Nefera asks.
"Easy." Snare-Oh gestures his head towards Gigi and Nefera gasps.
"You! You rubbed the lantern?!" Nefera snaps.
"Yes I did. Too bad so sad!" Firing wrappings at her, Nefera counters swatting his bandages away.
Firing another wrapping it ties around Snare-Oh's leg allowing Nefera to throw him at the base of the throne.
Groaning Snare-Oh looks to see Ramses looking down at him.
"What is this about a lantern?" Ramses asks.
"Just let me take care of this your majesty and I'll tell you everything." Snare-Oh said getting up.
Attacking her, both mummies were in a lock as their wrappings tied each other up.
"You can't honestly think you can beat me? I'm royalty." Nefera said.
"Yeah…well I'm an Omni-Tracker!" Snare-Oh roars mustering up all his strength and threw Nefera slamming her against the ground multiple times before throwing her sending her crashing into a fountain all tied up in her own and Snare-Oh's wrappings.
"Ugh let me go!" Nefera said as Gigi walked to him.
"All your friends are present and accounted for." Gigi said.
"Good work Gigi." Snare-Oh said as Gigi handed him the lantern.
"A genie always helps protect her master." Gigi said.
Hearing this something snapped in Nefera.
"You rotten human! I was supposed to be that Genie's master!" Nefera said before shutting up realizing she just blew it.
"Pardon?" Ramses glares. "Nefera what did you just say?"
"Uh nothing daddy." Nefera said faking her innocence.
"Spill." Clawdeen said as they all surrounded her.
"Fine. I tricked the human into getting the lantern from the tomb so I could use the genie to make me in charge. So I could rule over everything, but when I didn't I get it I thought I could use him to make daddy disown Cleo and make me next in line to rule. Why do you think I constantly raised daddy's suspicious about the school?" Nefera admits.
"You did all this?!" Lagoona asks.
"Evil." Cleo growls.
"Yeah no arguments here." Frankie said.
"Well too bad for you, you failed." Snare-Oh said as the icon beeps red.
Turning back into Drake, he turns to see Ramses walk up to him.
"So, you admit it. You're a human?" Ramses asks.
"Yes sir, I'm sorry for lying. We were worried you were gonna pull Cleo away from MH so I put on those wrapping and pretended to be a mummy. I'm sorry for lying." Drake apologizes.
"Yet you still came back to help? Why?" Ramses asks.
"Because I care about all those ghouls. I knew they needed me. Just like I need them." Drake smiles looking at them. "So sir, I know I'm in no position to ask this but please don't take Cleo away from Monster High. It wouldn't be the same without her."
"Well…why not?" Ramses smiles surprising everyone.
"Daddy? Y-You're smiling?" Cleo said not expecting it.
"Of course I am. I'll admit I didn't think you were meant to go back to that school at first, but the fact that this school has a human who cares about monsters so much he stood up to me to protect you all is impressive." Ramses said before turning to Drake. "I wouldn't make a habit of it, but I can respect it."
"Oh thank you Daddy." Cleo said hugging her father.
"Now then, that's one daughter problem solved but what to do about this one?" Ramses said as they all glared at the tied up Nefera.
"Your majesty, may I make a suggestion?" Leaning in Drake whispers something to King Ramses causing him to laugh.
"I like the way you think human." Ramses smiles.
A few hours later, Nefera was on her hands and knees scrubbing the palace floors.
"This is humiliating." Nefera grumbles.
"Oh Nefera you missed a spot!" Cleo calls out looking down at her.
As Nefera went to grab her bucket she ended up slipping and it spilled all over her causing Cleo and her father to laugh.
"Giving Nefera the cleaning duties, that human is a genius." Ramses laughs.
"Yep, Drake is amazing like that." Cleo said.
"So you two really aren't dating?" Ramses asks.
"No." Cleo admits.
"Shame, he's actually fun to be around. Maybe someday you'll actually like him like that." Ramses said walking out.
Looking down Cleo saw Drake talking with Gigi, Draculaura, Lagoona and Frankie.
"I think I already have." Cleo sighs.
"So what happens with you now?" Clawdeen asks.
"Drake has 12 wishes left. Until he uses them all up, where he goes, I go." Gigi said.
"12 wishes. Crikey, what are you gonna wish for Drake?" Lagoona asks.
"No idea…hey Gigi what would you wish for?" Drake asks.
"Me? Wow, no one has ever asked me that before. An easy one though, to be free." Gigi said.
"Free? You mean you're a prisoner?" Frankie asks.
"Comes with the lantern. Amazing powers, but I'm trapped." Gigi gestures to the lantern.
"So why don't you just set yourself free?" Clawdeen asks.
"The only way a genie can be set free is if a finder uses one of his wishes to set me free." Gigi said.
"Okay sounds simple enough. I've got 12 wishes so after I use my 11 I'll use my last one to set you free." Drake said.
"Wait…really?" Gigi asks.
"Yeah I guess, but since I don't know what to wish for just yet you're gonna have to stick around with us." Drake said.
"Well then I guess you're coming back to Monster High with us." Draculaura smiles.
"Monster High? What's that?" Gigi asks.
"It's a special school for monsters, it teaches us how to come out of the dark and live among humans." Frankie said.
"Along with a few special powered humans and even a few aliens." Lagoona adds.
"And I can come?" Gigi asks.
"Ghoul, you'll fit right in." Clawdeen smiles.
"Welcome to Monster High Gigi." Drake smiles holding out a hand.
Smiling Gigi shakes his hand. "I'm gonna remember this. The second you've made your 12th wish I'm gonna remind you."
"Fine with me." Drake said.
"So Ghouls, you ready to head home?" Cleo asks walking over.
"No more lying to daddy?" Clawdeen asks.
"No more, I swear. But he does ask that I now keep him posted on my activity at Monster High." Cleo said.
"Good enough for us." Drake said.
As they walked away Nefera looks up at them and growls.
"I'll get you for this Cleo and you too human." Nefera glares.
Meanwhile, on the hill near Monster High another danger was approaching.
Emerging from the trees Moanica and her Zomboys had returned.
"Monster High, still as ugly as I remember." Moanica glares.
