Author's Note: Hello, hello, my readers! Welcome back to The Many Adventures of Iron Dad and Spider Son! I am back with PART 2 OF THE KIDNAPPED ARC! And I am so excited for this one! It's a short one, but we will get to see what Hammer wants with Peter and Tony! I hope you all enjoy this one! BUT before we get to that…REVIEW REPLIES!
Sillysammijo: You're welcome, my friend! Lol, wow, that makes me so happy! I'm glad you liked it that much! Hopefully Part 2 can bring some ease! Lol, yeah, no worries, I'm not a fan at all of MCDs. I mean this will address IW and EG canon towards the end but like I said in a previous chapter, there's going to be an alternate ending in addition. But yes, for now, they will definitely be okay, but you will see how they deal with it and get out of it! Hope you enjoy it!
Wandamarie: You're welcome! Thanks!

Kidnapped! Part 2 (March 25, 2017)
Tony wasn't sure who he expected to be behind kidnapping him and Peter, but as soon as he laid his eyes on Justin Hammer as he walked in…his heart dropped to his stomach. There was no way it was Obadiah Stane or Aldritch Killian or the Ten Rings, so Tony thought maybe it was HYDRA or Zemo. The last person he thought of was Justin Hammer.
"I…I don't understand," he said. "How…how are you…? Y-You're…" He put his arms out to shield Peter even more. "You're supposed to be…"
"What? Supposed to be what, Tony? In prison?" Hammer finished before chuckling and shaking his head. "Well…see, I was…in Seagate Penitentiary to be exact…for 7…whole…years, but that's the best part about being rich, Tony, money can save your life. With some help, I was able to get out just a months ago, and I was able to keep it a big hush-hush so that I could surprise you."
"Can't exactly say it was a good surprise," Tony retorted.
"Well, seeing as how you and your little lady ruined my life," Hammer replied, "I figured…it was only fair."
"So what?" Tony retorted. "You kidnap my intern and me? Come on, Hammer, the whole thing with the Stark Expo…it's been 7 years. Can't we just let bygones be bygones?"
Tony's rival laughed evilly, and it made Tony and Peter slightly even more uneasy. Peter clutched onto Tony's jacket as Tony moved closer to Peter to protect him. There wasn't more room, but the billionaire didn't care. He just wanted to protect Peter from this maniac.
"Oh, Tony, Tony," Hammer said calming down from his laughing fit, "you really are just so naïve. You said so yourself. It's been 7 years. I've been waiting for this day…a day, where you and I would finally meet again, but of course, you know…I couldn't just walk up to you because…you know…I would get sent right back to prison, so I planned something better. I had my guys watch you for months…ever since I got out."
"W-Watch me?" Tony reported.
"Oh yeah," Hammer replied, "ever since November really, and I got to say, Tony, you really have changed."
Tony felt his stomach drop. Hammer had hired men to watch him since November. That was around the time he and Peter started seeing each other and keeping in touch more frequently. They took a picture at Stark Industries, and they spent a weekend together while May was away. Could that mean he knew Peter was Spider-Man? "W-What do you mean 'changed?'" he asked trying to keep his voice steady.
"Last time I saw you, you were drunk off your ass shooing away your best friends and your little lady," Hammer replied, "but now," he reached into his pocket and pulled out some pictures, "it seems like you've had a…" he looked at Peter, "lovely addition to your family." He threw the pictures at Tony's feet.
The billionaire slowly picked up the pictures and looked through them. It was pictures…of him and Peter. There was a picture of him, Peter, and Happy in the car. Then there were a few of Tony and Peter in the car and walking into a diner…Tony walking into Peter's apartment building…Tony and Peter walking out of the apartment building…walking into the hotel at the last gala…and Peter walking Stark Industries. He could feel Peter breathing heavily as he looked over his mentor's shoulder at the pictures. This whole time Hammer had guys watching them, and they had no idea.
"Who knew genius, billionaire, playboy, philanthropist Tony Stark would actually become a father?" Hammer suddenly asked with a smirk.
Tony and Peter stopped and looked up at their captor as if he had grown ten heads. Did they hear him right? Did he just refer to Tony as Peter's father?
"What?" they asked in unison.
"Oh, come on, Tony," Hammer said with that smirk never leaving his face, "you can't fool me. It's so obvious Peter is your kid…like a secret lovechild, given your history. I knew it from the moment I saw that first picture of the two of you together, and from that day on, I knew just how to get to you, Tony."
"B-But he's not my son," Tony said raising an eyebrow at Hammer.
"I'm not his son," Peter said. "I'm just his intern."
"Oh, please," Hammer said laughing some more, "it's so obvious that you are. What? Did this guy tell you to use an 'internship' as a cover story?"
"Yeah, but not for the reasons you think," Peter thought to himself. He was relieved that Hammer clearly didn't know that he was Spider-Man, but at the same time, he couldn't help but feel awful and embarrassed that Hammer thought he was Tony's son…not for himself but for his mentor. How could he have let Hammer think that? Did Peter say something or do something unintentionally? What could he have done? Did other people think this? How did Tony feel about it?
"No, seriously," Peter said aloud, "I'm really just his intern. I'm not his son."
"Yeah, he's—" Tony began to say.
"SHUT UP! BOTH OF YOU!" the lead henchman shouted causing Tony and Peter to jump…and to remember where they were.
"Easy, easy, my good man," Hammer said. "No need to get all testy." He looked back at Tony and Peter. "I'm sure they're just shocked that their cover story has been figured out by yours truly."
"Alright, you know what, forget it," Tony said with clenched teeth. "Just let Peter go, Hammer! He's got nothing to do with what's between you and me."
"Oh, but see, that's where you're wrong, Tony," Hammer said crouching down in front of Tony and Peter. "See, your baby boy here is my ticket to getting what I want from you. I want you to build me my own Iron Legion army, to replicate the arc reactor technology, and…to sign Stark Industries over…to me."
Tony could only glare at his enemy as he heard that Peter was being used as a bargaining chip. "What if I refuse?" he asked through clenched teeth.
"Oh, well, that's easy," Hammer said with a nonchalant look on his face. "If you refuse," he gestured to Peter behind Tony, "then…Peter dies. You know…a bullet…through his head?"
Tony breathed shakily as he moved closer to Peter, and he could feel Peter's hands shaking as he held onto his jacket. He felt as if he was going to pass out or throw up. If he didn't follow through with Hammer's demands, then he threatened that he would kill Peter. His intern Peter would die if he didn't build the Iron Legion suits, replicate the arc reactor technology, and sign over Stark Industries. His heart began to pound.
Hammer could only chuckle as he stood up. "My friends and I will leave you both alone so that you can decide, Tony," he said. "See you later."
With that said, Hammer walked out the door with his lackeys before they closed the door and locked it again. Even though they were alone in the room again, Tony refused to move away from Peter, just as the latter refused to do the same.
"Mr. Stark," Peter breathed as he rested his head on Tony's back. His mind was still reeling from Hammer's threat. He felt sick. He had been threatened before, especially by Toomes, but it didn't change how it felt.
Tony wasted no time as he maneuvered himself so that he wrapped his arms around Peter hugging him close. "It's okay, kid," he said. "You're alright. I got you."
Peter wasted no time in returning the gesture wrapping his arms around Tony. He took a deep breath before looking up at Tony. "Mr. Stark," he said, "they don't know I'm you-know-who. I can use my super-strength and take them out, and then we can get out of here. That way you won't have to worry about meeting Hammer's demands."
As soon as Tony heard that, he looked at Peter. "No, absolutely not," he said.
"Why not?" Peter asked. "You know I can take them."
"Yes, I know you can," Tony quickly said, "but, Peter, if it doesn't work, you would've given yourself away, and there's no telling what this asshole will do once he figures that out. It's not worth the risk. If we're going to do this, we need to stay below the radar and not give them more ammunition, okay? Promise me you will lay low and let me handle things."
Peter stared at Tony and breathed heavily. "Okay, I promise," he said.
"But I'm still going to protect you no matter what, Mr. Stark," he thought to himself.
