Play Nice (Part Two)
"One thing to keep in mind about me Korra-" he smirked, "Nothing goes on around here without me knowing about it." His smile was smug and...twisted..
A crude sensation traveled down her body as Korra observed his face.
"Maybe you should sit down Tahno.." Tarrlock spoke.
"No I don't think I need to." He crossed his arms over his chest with a mixture of annoyance and disappointment on his face.
Varrick sucked his teeth and put his hands up like he was disgusted by something. "Lets make this fast okay? It's embarrassing enough to see you two looking like stray cats after a brawl." He pointed to his security guards. "Why do I pay you so much if one cop took you this much effort to take down?"
The men awkwardly stood in silence. Their swollen faces and bloodied noses evidence to their incompetence.
"Anywho...I hate getting my hands dirty so speak now or forever hold your peace-"
"I-" Korra began.
"She has nothing to do with this!" Tahno interrupted.
"So you don't know who this is?" Tarrlock pointed at Mako, still shirtless and bound with arms zip-tied behind his back.
"No." He answered for her.
"Tahno!" Korra grunted in disbelief. Was he really so quick to sell Mako out? Her trust in her friend was starting to waiver. Sure they didn't have to get along but this was more serious than their little cock fight.
He sneered at her and Korra noticed he was genuinely upset. She sat back a little, thinking maybe she didn't understand how much danger they were actually in. She has never seen him so angry at her.
Varrick snapped his fingers and one of the men picked up Mako's head by a fist full of his hair. He grunted in pain as they arched his back upright, forcing him on his knees. "His face doesn't ring a bell?"
"Stop!" Korra threatened, "You're hurting him!"
"I'll take that as a yes," Varrick added.
They let him go and he flopped onto his chest, resting his forehead on the ground. Korra frowned as she could tell he was exhausted. She just wanted to get him out of here.
"So you were looking for intel..."
"I let them both in, if anyone is to blame its me." Tahno interrupted, "Do what you want. Add thousands to my debt, I don't care. Let them go!"
"Ahh I see..." Varrick stood with his hand on his chin. "Looking for the thieves who stole that little crown-thing."
"It's not Tahno's fault! He was just trying to help me!" Korra exclaimed.
"Yes but he knows how compromising this actually is. If anyone down here found out what you were doing, they would not be so hesitant to dispose of you."
Korra didn't have to guess on what he meant by that. "You're compromising the very integrity of this society.."
"So why didn't you?" She replied with a frustrated glare. If he was suspicious from the start, why the locked room convo?
The men glanced at one another and laughed. "You, daughter of Chief Tonraq, are off limits...A lowly cop is a dime a dozen." Tarrlock replied.
Korra clutched her fists as she imagined her knuckles cracking the side of his jaw. She hated hearing him speak about Mako like he was a nobody.
"The fire nation crown has nothing to do with-"
"I'm starting to loose my patience.." Varrick muttered. One of the men reared back their leg and kicked Mako square in the gut.
"Arrgh!" He exclaimed.
"I swear we!-"
"They didn't find any information! Let them go and you'll never see them down here again. I can make sure of it." Tahno spoke, once again interrupting Korra's attempt to explain.
"Well why don't you take Korra and leave, and let us to deal with the officer." Tarrlock suggested. "I'm a firm believer in "shooting the messenger"..."
"Like hell we are!" Korra got up from the cushion and ran to Mako's side. She gently cradled his cheek and sighed as he softened his face against her palm. "You might at well see him as an extension of myself. If anything happens to him. I'll make sure my family retaliates."
Tarrlock looked disturbed, "This Fire Nation boy is your-? ...Your uncle was right, you have no respect for tradition. If you were my daughter you'd be married off by now, to a man able to constrict that mouth of yours."
Korra looked up at him as her vision turned red. Tahno quickly stepped between them as he could see Korra had a look to kill written on her face. It took all of her restrain not to respond to his blatant misogyny. She looked at Mako, still writhing in pain and did the only thing she could think of to get them out of this situation.
"We're looking for these suspects. And we were hoping to find some leads down here." She threw Varrick her phone and proceeded to tell him everything going on with the current investigation. "I promise no one else is involved! We don't want any other information other than to get the crown back!"
"Wow! What a shocking turn of events!" Varrick replied as he studied their faces for a few silent moments. Korra could tell there was intrigue behind his gaze. Like he was forming his thoughts to unspoken actions.
"Korra I like your drive and your determination to provide for our tribe..." He was speaking slowly and methodically. Like he was stirring up a proper response. "It saddens me that our own kin would stoop to such lows but I assure you I am here to help!"
"Really?" She was shell-shocked. The change in his tone and his demeanor was unsettling.
"Korra we're Water-tribe after all! We look out for each other..." The look in his clear blue eyes seemed sincere. It was jarring to believe she trusted him when he said that.
"She doesn't need your help!" Tahno interfered. "Bei-fongs team has everything under control. The last thing they want is to be dealt with this under the table."
"As if they aren't already" Tarrlock snickered giving Mako a judgmental stare. How noble was her officers if they needed info from criminals?
"Let the detective go boys, his work here is done." They took out a knife and cut the zip ties from his wrists. Korra helped him sit up and somberly wiped his face of the sweat and blood.
"I'm so sorry" she whispered.
Mako swallowed, "I wouldn't be so smug..." He looked to Tarrlock with a piercing stare, "The Triple Threats seemed to know you pretty well..."
Varrick laughed at Mako's hypocrisy but didn't feel the need to respond.
The Councilman clicked his teeth, his expression somewhat impressed Mako could hold his ground even in such a compromising position. "Get to know the people you work for officer..."
Varrick sat down casually as if everything was back to normal, "Princess mark my words, you'll find the answers you need. Just give me a few days."
Tahno helped Korra hoist Mako up on his feet and the trio began to leave.
"thank-y..you." She stammered. Korra had a billion questions running through her mind to ask him, but her legs couldn't move fast enough to get Mako home.
-O-
Back in Tahno's car the three of them didn't say a word to one another. It was late, so late that the sun was starting to rise. They pulled into the driveway and switched cars as Tahno made his way up to his house. Korra stood by Mako as he unlocked the doors to his passenger side. As much as she wanted them to go their separate ways and decompress, she couldn't bite back her need to confront Tahno about a few things.
"Do you want to come clean now or should we wait?" She called to him.
"What more is there to say Korra?" Tahno shrugged with a lazy glance over his shoulder. "I told you two not to get involved...In Fact! I told you to stay away from Varrick!"
"Are you serious! You said you worked with a sleazy guy who lend you some cash not Varrick Blackstone!" Korra stomped up to him in disbelief. "You do realize his wife is the fucking president right!"
"And your family owns a country half the size of Republic City!" He snorted. "Like that matters!"
She rolled her eyes not even wanting to get into the logistics of how technically untrue that was. "You know what I mean! You could of at least told us who he was!"
"What difference does it make! I don't control what he does, 18% of a company is nothing but pennies compared to what he makes! I'm just another low-life that got swindled by that crook. My work is the bar, that's my livelihood."
"I met a worker here tonight who said Asami was a member of the club." Mako muttered as he leaned against the hood of his car, "You knew that too?"
"You would bring that up now!" Tahno pointed at him.
"Don't be upset with me Korra's finding out how much of a liar you are!" Mako spat.
Tahno rolled his eyes and laughed, "I'm a lot of things, but a liar is not one of them..."
Mako shook his head.
"For fucks sake!" Korra yelled. She cupped her face in her hands, trying to cope with all this information being thrown at her all at once.
"Korra I didn't know Asami worked for Varrick!" He cupped her hands, prying them away from her face so she could look at him. "I didn't know she was mixed into all of this okay! and as soon as I did, I dipped! I want no part in whatever they are planning!"
Korra shook her head like she was going dizzy.
"Do you seriously not believe me?" He pouted.
She bit her lip and watched his gaze somberly. "I do..I'm just..it's hard to listen to all of this. I never thought Asami was this type..."
"There's more?" Mako was now just as confused.
"I don't know," Tahno responded, "I didn't attend their meeting. Seriously I have no idea what business Asami has with Varrick. I was only their mediator at first. She's transferring money through him, partnering on some business plans. It was all anonymous until she showed up to the club the other night. She told me basically no one knew other than Prince Iroh but I really don't give a shit! I'm already looking for my out! I'm paying back every cent I owe to Varrick and wiping my hands clean of him entirely."
"Why were you so worried back there?" Mako asked.
"I don't mean to be so paranoid but he likes to meddle in buisness he shouldn't be so-"
"That's why you didn't want him knowing about the investigation." Mako finished.
"Everyone in this city is wrapped around his crooked finger...I wouldn't be surprised if he already knew who took that fucking crown."
Mako tried to hide the regret on his face. This case wasn't in his hands anymore...He was starting to wonder if it ever was to begin with. Get to know the people you work for... Tarrlock said. He made sure to keep that in his back pocket for Bei-fong when they came back from winter holiday.
Korra's shoulders slumped as she realized her mistake, "I-I didn't know what else to do! I thought they would hurt Mako!"
"I know, I'm not blaming you." Tahno smoothed down the side of her hair.
"Neither am I. I'm glad I can count on you..for anything Korra." Mako locked eyes with her and she instantly felt relieved. He expected no better from Tahno who at first willfully tossed him under the bus. If Korra wasn't there, he wondered if Tahno would care for his safety even a fraction of how much she did.
Tahno lightly took her chin in his hands as a subtle pull to redirect her gaze back to him. "Just...keep an eye on him. Varrick always, and I mean always has an ulterior motive."
"What about Tarrlock?" Mako asked.
"I'm not sure about him, but if he's close to Varrick I'd assume the same."
"He seems like another stuck-up, snooty Water-Tribe man if I've ever seen one." Korra scoffed. She shivered at the memory of his dingy cologne and wondering eyes. "Next time I see him I swear!-"
Tahno laughed, "He's not worth the energy love." He looked at Mako and awkwardly sighed as he knew he had to play the 'good guy' after all this bullshit. "You can come in and get cleaned up. Just don't bleed on my carpet..."
Korra smirked then turned to the officer, "That's his way of saying 'I'm sorry' ..."
As Korra and Tahno began to walk up the pathway to his house Mako hesitated. He silently watched them together; how easy it was for them to fall back into sync with the other. Tahno's arm around her shoulders, pulling her close to his side. Her laugh as he whispered something in her ear. They recovered from an argument way better than the two of them did any day.
She stopped and turned over her shoulder, "You coming?"
He snapped out of his little daydream, "Oh um...actually I think I'm just going to head home..."
Korra moved Tahno's arm from around her and took a few steps toward Mako, "You can't go looking like that. You're all beat up.." Her eyes fluttered and he was a bit taken back how worried she looked at the possibility of him leaving. It was immature for him to admit he like being wanted. That her validation meant so much to him.
"I've dealt with worse..." Mako chuckled, although his voice seemed a bit strained. If a few cuts and bruises slowed him down, he'd be out of job.
"Come on, my bath tub has massage jets...It'll feel great on those sore muscles of yours.." Tahno smirked eyeing his bare-chest.
Mako blushed as he finally realized he was still dressed like a sex-worker and his next thought was that he had abandoned his clothes in that nightmare of a place. "The thought of going home to Bolin seeing me like this..." He cringed, "Yeah...I'm right behind you."
-O-
Mako moaned as he dipped his nude flesh into a bath of practically boiling hot water. Although they cleaned him up the slight sting of his cuts felt a bit uncomfortable. Korra insisted he shower and clean up first in Tahno's guest bathroom but he wasn't going to make her wait. It was a tad awkward being in Tahno's room and bath but he didn't dwell on it for very long. It was larger than he imagined, his bathroom alone was the size of his living room. The jacuzzi-like tub resembled a traditional onsen with wood panels and stone flooring that transitioned from the tile flooring of his shower on the opposite side of the room.
He laid his head back on the rim of the tub and threw a small warm towelette over his face. It took a few minutes and some breathing exercises to calm down and leave his investigation for another day to stress over. It was the start of his vacation after all, winter break, and he was going to try to enjoy it.
His eyes were closed and face fully relaxed under the steam. His thoughts mindlessly drifted and he wondered if Korra was done freshening up. These past few days working beside her has been great although a tad stressful. He could tell she was trying her best to ignore their obvious tension. If he were being honest with himself, it was hard for him too. It's like, they're together and yet they're not at the same time.
He was holding her "I love you" in the back of his mind ever since she initially said it. Secretly waiting for the right moment when she-
Suddenly the water rippled around him as he sensed another body get into the tub.
"Korr-"
"You wish it was."
He stilled and the other person didn't elaborate.
They were silent as Mako began fully processing the probability that Tahno really dipped his naked ass in the same water as him.
"You're fucking joking."
Tahno scoffed, "You've seen one dick, you've seen them all..."
Mako scrunched his mouth and grabbed the towel from his face.
"Ah-ah-ah! I wouldn't do that if I were you! There's two sausages in this stew..."
Mako dropped the towel back over his eyes, "You are ridiculous!"
"You've never been in a sauna before?"
Mako hummed annoyingly, "yes"
"I've already showered and so did you..So what's the difference?"
"You."
"Don't make it weird"
"I'm not making it weird!"
"Yeah you are prissy boy-"
"Don't call me that.."
"Got any other orders for me in my own god damn house?"
Mako didn't respond.
Tahno snickered as his tongue dragged across his top row of teeth. His onsen had the diameter of the length of a Queen sized bed so there was plenty of space between them. The steam hid the majority of the playful bits Mako was so coy about, but Tahno innocently let his eyes wonder below the water a little bit.
"Ah!" Mako stirred as harsh streams of water shot out from several holes along the tub walls and floor.
"Sorry, didn't mean to scare you." Tahno replied, after having turned on the massage jets.
"Not scared, just a little sore.."
Mako sat lower to let the high pressured water beat against his lower back. His thighs unceremoniously spread a little further apart as he did this making it much harder for Tahno not to look at what was between them. A slow, drawn out grunt escaped his lips and Tahno was insatiably intrigued by the sound. This was probably the first time he'd ever seen him look so relaxed. Even when he was tipsy he was still a bit prude.
Tahno slumped against the wall of the circular tub and let the palms of his hands float out by his sides. His gaze bounced from the ceiling to Mako several times as if he couldn't decide what to fixate on. The detective was always an attractive guy, athletic, some-what intelligent..he always knew why Korra liked him so much. He was the, "I hate the world but not you" type of guy and Korra was that one girl for him. Other than his relationship with her and that awkward mess with Asami, Tahno really wasn't sure if Mako toured around much.
After a few more minutes of silence Mako yanked the towel from his face and glared at Korra's friend. "I don't have to see you to feel you staring at me!"
Tahno threw his hands up like he was about to be frisked, "Sorry. If you really want me to leave I'll go."
"Don't do that," Mako shook his head annoyed.
"Do what?"
"That reverse psychology thing!"
"I'm not challenging you guy, relax.." Tahno shrugged. "I'm serious..."
Mako sat up a bit taller, unintentionally rocking the bath water. "Where's Korra?"
"Probably in the shower down stairs..." He side-eyed him smugly, "I'll go join her since my company won't be missed here..."
"Be my guest." Mako snorted. He tossed the towel out of the tub after wringing the water out with his hands.
Tahno pouted, "Aw, it's no fun if you're not mad..."
Mako rubbed his stomach absentmindedly and Tahno instantly remembered he was kicked square in the gut only a few hours ago.
"You okay over there?"
Mako looked up surprised Tahno seemed to care, "Oh-h now you give a fuck about my well being?"
Tahno rolled his eyes, "I was bluffing...I wasn't going to let anything happen to you."
Mako furrowed his brows, "I don't believe that."
"Korra would kill me if I did..."
"Oh" Mako huffed, "Well thank you on Korra's behalf.." He ran his hand down his row of abs and Tahno couldn't help but wonder if Mako was this oblivious to his inherent seduction. A man who not only never gloated about having a big dick but purposely kept it a secret clearly didn't know the power he possessed. "And yeah I'm fine-"
"You know you don't have to be 'Mr. Tough Guy' all the time..."
Mako hummed, like he was tailoring the proper response. He never had an 'intimate' conversation with Tahno before but also, he didn't care much to lie to him. "I don't know anything else.."
Tahno rocked his head to one side, silently agreeing with him. He knew pieces of Mako and Bolin's life through what Korra has told him. He could imagine it would be hard for an orphan to come out of 'survival mode' if that's all they've ever know. Even Mako and all his accomplishments had insecurities.
"I guess that's what Korra likes about you.." Tahno muttered like he was thinking out loud.
"What do you mean by that?"
"You're something to fix.."
He scrunched his face, "Ouch.."
"Don't mean to insult you but it's true. You don't let people in, you don't trust easily..." Tahno casually moved a little closer to him. "You don't even flirt or date around. To a woman like Korra you're a challenge..."
"That's not a bad thing,"
"Not at all," Tahno quickly shook his head, "It keeps her..engaged. You're a mystery..."
"I don't need the sarcasm."
Tahno smirked, "I'm only partly joking. Even back in college, she wanted to figure you out..That 'cool guy' shit, she could see past that."
Mako agreed. Honestly, that's what made Korra stand out. She wasn't intimidated by him or put off, even when he was intentionally rude to her. She could see it was just him pushing her away. He was afraid of her..She did see through him so easily.
"And what about you? Why are you so special?" Mako asked, his gaze firm and sharp.
"O-Oh, you mean about the other weekend." Tahno stammered on what to say as he was flooded with the memories, the smells, the sensations of that glorious weekend with Korra.
"I just don't understand why she would choose you." Mako blurted out.
"Wow..Ouch.." Tahno mocked.
"I mean-"
"I get it." Tahno interrupted, "We're friends so how did that become more?"
Mako nodded, "Did you ever think about her that way?"
Tahno was almost persuaded to lie to this question out of fear of Mako's retaliation.
"Well yeah I'm human, but I never once considered or asked to cross that boundary." Tahno rubbed his arm and Mako watched as his hand traveled across the tattoo on his chest.
"So then why?"
"Why does that bother you so much?" Tahno started to looked annoyed. Was it really that surprising Korra might like him as more than a friend?
"It just caught me off guard..."
"You caught her off guard..." He corrected.
Mako looked at him wide-eyed, "Was it really that bad?"
"I mean she seemed...shocked but also overwhelmed.." Tahno looked at the steaming water and fizzling bubbles. "I'd like to think I am a safe space for her. I'm also the first person she told about your little...arrangement. So it's almost poetic she'd come back full circle when it all went up in flames."
"That's not what I mean." Mako looked discouraged, obviously he knew his "I love you" was pre-mature. "She said you two went on a date."
"She asked ME out! Take that up with her!"
Mako blinked, "She said she really liked it..."
"Oh! ha- I was just as shocked!" Tahno seemed a bit giddy to admit this. Mako realized then he must be telling the truth, their relationship was strictly platonic up until this point.
"But it wasn't romantic..at first. She just wanted to thank me for helping her with your 'little friends with benefits' situation..." Tahno rubbed his arm again and blushed, "We're both impulsive...so it escalated as the night went on.."
Mako remained silent, wanting him to get to the point.
"I'm not a label Mako. I'm not a boyfriend, a fuck buddy or any of that shit. I'm here for her, that's it." They locked eyes, "Whatever she needs...She likes that. I don't expect anything from her."
"Oh." Mako lowered his gaze.
"When you confessed...she freaked. She didn't want to disappoint you but she also wasn't ready to commit..."
"So she went to you.." Mako muttered under his breath. Korra told him, they're just doing what feels good...
You don't always have to define a feeling. Sometimes its better to just experience it than to analyze what you're feeling.
Mako bit his bottom lip and Tahno watched the act with some intrigue. "I don't know why I'm like that..."
Tahno inched a bit closer to him. They were now only a few feet apart. "There's nothing wrong with that. Really. She wants that, its just hard when you've been hurt so many times ya know?"
He huffed, "Oh yeah. I know that a little too well..."
They sat awkwardly in silence for a few moments. The jets from the tub turned off only adding to the stillness in the room.
"You make Korra happy..." Mako continued.
Tahno's brows rose, "What?"
Mako looked at him sternly, "You make Korra happy, so I never had a problem with you being around. Your unsolicited advice, Getting us drunk... shoving me into a closet..."
Tahno smirked at the fond and yet hazy memory. "Deep down you know you liked that?"
Mako coughed up a laugh, "It was...different...Although as of right now. Korra, Kuvira and I have done a lot more than that-"
"What?!" Tahno splashed some water out of the bath as he moved in shock. He slapped Mako's warm bare shoulder with the back of his hand, "You and Kuvira! When was this?!"
The last time he saw Korra and Kuvira they were leaving his bar...there's no way they went to go bang Mako!? And he wasn't invited?!
"Are you referring to the first or the second time?" Mako smiled. He enjoyed the look on Tahno's face as he learned that he wasn't as 'prissy' as he thought. "Although the first was on the phone so does that technically count as a threesome?"
Tahno sat back with an impressed smirk, "Wow, I do give you too much credit. Korra would never mess with you if you weren't as much of a freak as she was." He pointed at him, "You're just better at hiding it.."
Mako looked away trying to cover up his smile, "I'm not better at anything. It's Korra...She's opened me up to a lot of things I never thought I would do.."
Tahno hummed as a salacious idea popped into his head. "Good to know..."
Mako eyed his curiously, "You're making a face."
Tahno's eyes lowered, "Oh I am aren't I..." He stood up in the tub and stretched his arms over his head. Mako looked away from his crotch only a few feet from his face. Tahno stepped out of the water and walked toward the door, leaving a wet trail under his feet.
Mako watched him go, confused by his sudden ominous demeanor.
"I'm gonna dry off." He stopped at the door and looked at the detective. "You can stay on the couch if you want...although I think Korra might like some company."
Mako raised his head a bit, only partly understanding what Tahno meant. He wasn't going to ask permission to sleep beside Korra in the guest room but now he realized this was something more.
"You wanted to know why Korra chose me.." His lips parted crookedly as his grey eyes glistened, "I can show you a lot better than I can tell you..."
Mako swallowed as the door closed. He sat in the still water weighing his options. He had a new found respect for Tahno now that he's gotten the chance to pick his brain a little bit. In no way was he ever going to give Korra to him in a romantic sense, but sharing her in other ways was a tantalizing idea...
The explicit thoughts followed soon after he made the decision and he quickly drained the tub as an ache started to billow between his legs.
-0-
Korra laid in Tahno's guest bed finding it hard to fall asleep. She rolled over to lay on her right and forced her eyes shut. It was probably around 6 in the morning now and they started the investigation at midnight. This was so stressful...
She was putting up as brave of a front as she could but internally she was still just as emotional as day one. The museum was stalled and unable to resume operation until this mystery was solved. They were supposed to re-open during the holiday rush. Bring in new crowds, revive the museum with their Fire Nation exhibition. All of that was practically impossible now and she couldn't help but blame herself. Especially after tonight. She didn't mean to put Mako in any danger.
If anything she thought they'd go in, get some evidence and then maybe...do a few other things. That was definitely best case scenario. Mako was open to new sexual experiences, he just needed a little persuasion and surprisingly perhaps an element of a challenge. Now after what happened to him, she'd be in luck if he ever stepped foot in that place again.
It was then she noticed how quiet Tahno's home was. No shower water running or the sounds of the two boys fighting over something insignificant. She fidgeted under the sheets contemplating whether or not she should check on them.
Suddenly, she heard small movement followed by another body lay in bed beside her. His arm very carefully wrapped around her waist as he hugged her from behind.
She smirked obviously knowing who it was, "Tahno kick you off his couch?"
Mako smiled against the side of her neck, "I snuck in..." He whispered.
Korra moved a bit closer to him, her back flush to his chest. "Good..." She sighed. It was better sleeping beside him then alone.
"Don't get too comfortable." They heard as Tahno stepped into the room, politely closing the door behind him. He slide under the sheets on the other side of Korra so that she was sandwiched between the two of them.
Korra rolled her eyes as Tahno pressed up against her with his hand gripping her bent leg, "You two...please don't start..." She said eyeing Tahno's bare chest. He usually only slept in briefs so that wasn't surprising.
They both smelled fresh, like spring water and by the dampness of Tahno's hair Korra figured they must have just finished their separate baths and ran to get in bed with her first.
Mako hugged her closer as his hand ventured up her stomach and cupped her boob. She barely had breath to gasp before Tahno lightly took her chin his hand and kissed her lips.
"mmm!" Korra's eyes were wide as Mako squeezed a hand full and Tahno's tongue licked her bottom lip. Her brain was split between two different sensations and she didn't know which one to focus on. After a few more kisses she cupped his face and pulled away.
"What's this about?" She asked breathlessly as Mako's thumb lightly caressed her nipple threw her shirt. The two of them..together? This had to be a dream..she was dreaming. When did she fall asleep?
Tahno looked past her at Mako with a devious glint in his eye. Mako kissed the bend of Korra's neck while keeping his gaze locked on Tahno. A silent consensus.
His teeth lined her jugular vein as his mouth made his way to her ear. Tahno's hand ventured up her thigh in the same moment and again, her mind was caught between the two feelings leaving her senseless.
"..We're playing nice..." He whispered.
