Chapter 2: "Nice" Dinner with Mother and Son
This chapter is mostly about Sesshomaru and his mother Lady Inukimi having dinner at a restaurant. What would they talk about? Since they haven't really communicated with each other for 10 years, the same day when Kagome left.
10 years later
In fancy restaurants in a small corner of the room there sits the most beautiful lady in the room. That is Lady Inukimi waiting for her son Sesshomaru to join her for her lunch. She hasn't talked to him for almost 2 years, and most of the 8 years she has fought with Sesshomaru because she is still mad at him because he chooses Kikyo over Kagome. While waiting for her foolish son, Lady Inukimi is in deep thought about how her son chose a lower miko than a powerful one. Also, how could Kagome's family and friends move on with their lives and not worry about Kagome's whereabouts. Kagome's mother is much closer with Kikyo, when Kikyo lost her parents in a car crash at such a young age. Since then, Kagome has become Kikyo's shadow. 'I still don't get how my stupid son lost a great woman, like Kagome. She was everything I wanted in Lady of the West. Instead, he chose a second-rant lazy miko who gave birth to half-blood demons. If he mates with Kagome, she will give powerful full demon pups. Even though I'm glad that Kagome is happy and how she finds her true love.' While thinking how happy Kagome was with her family. A simal deep voice made her lost her train of thought
"Hello mother. It's good to see you, mother. You still look young and beautiful as always." said Sesshomaru.
"Don't sweet talk to me, Sesshomaru. I know you want something from me. So, stop with the sweet talk, and let's get down to business. What do you want, Sesshomaru?" said Inukimi with anyoring.
"Mother, when you give the title of the Lady to the West to Kikyo. She is my mate and mother to my pups. It's time for you to back down and it time for a new lady to take over". Said Sesshomaru.
"Hahahahaha don't make me laugh, Sesshomaru. Kikyo doesn't know what to take to be the lady of the west. She doesn't know anything about the lords and ladies. When we have our monthly ladies tea, the only thing Kikyo can talk about is how she always goes shopping, the new clothes she got, and saying mean things behind the person's back. She never talks about the important topics like our hobbies, our mates, our children and lastly the most important is the business that we work together. If it was Kagome, I would give that the title on the day she calls me that you mate her, but instead I call that you cheat on her '' said Izayoi with an angry and annoyed voice. She hates that her son, once again brought the same topic again. Kikoy is not fit to be the lady of the west. Thank god that she was talking to Sesshomaru's oldest son Akihiko who is 10 years old behind his back, teaching about the ways to find a great mate and how important the test is to him and his future mate. Akihiko is a bright boy who knows the importance of the test. He has 3 youngest siblings, only two of them are spoiled rotten, twin girls named Saya and Sara who are 8 years old and mini versions of Kikoy, but the youngest baby of the four is named Aiko who is five years old. There are reasons that Sesshomaru and Kikoy ignored her and what a stupid reason is that. The reason is that the little girl heard stories of Kagome how kind, beautiful, and powerful miko. Aiko wants to become just like her. She is once again grateful for her wonderful grandson Akihiko taking care of that special little girl.
"Mother, that is the past, Kikoy is my mate plus Kagome is at fault for leaving me. I told her that she didn't need to do the test, but instead she listened to you and didn't anyway. Who wants a woman who doesn't put her mate first." said Sesshomaru with a detached face.
"You are a fool, Sesshomaru! Who doesn't see that you lost a diamond but got a fake one instead. Let me tell you the importance of the test. Is for the couples that would be faithful to each other and see if their love is true. Kagome love was true for you and she proved that she was me."
"What do you mean mother? I thought Kagome was there for your teaching?" said Sesshomaru with a confused face.
"That part is true that Kagome was learning, but she doesn't know the part of the test. You see Sesshomaru I brought four men who are married men and who are in love with their wifes/mates. To flirt with Kagome and see if she will fall for them. One of the man's mates is about to give birth to their fifth child. I let him go, but still gave him money as a gift for their new baby. The man was so grateful for me, but doesn't want to leave me with a man down. He told me that he has a friend who is a play-boy if he wants me to use him. Of course I say "Yes' '. That wasn't part of my plan but I want to see how this new plan would come out. It turn out really well." said Lady Inukimi
