The 4077 just wasn't the same without the nurses in more ways than one. It was quieter, less happy, less cheerful. But the casualties didn't know that and they
just kept coming. Those with no surgery or nursing experience like Father Mulchay, Radar and Klinger were thrown into unfamiliar territory of assisting the doctors
in their work. Nurses made the 4077 a more tolerable place to be for everyone and their presence-or lack thereof-was felt in a big way. Yes, there is nothing like a
nurse, especially those who worked at the 4077. God bless them all.
