Chapter 48

Nicholle races out of the house and sees Curtis.

"Curtis, have you seen Tiegan?" she asked him.

"She was heading towards the beach." he replied.

"Did she talk to you at all?"

"No, she just walked off."

Nicholle breathed a huge sigh of relief.

"Did you upset her or something?" Curtis asked her.

"Well, no." Nicholle replied.

"That's good then." Curtis said.

"But there is something that I need to tell you." Nicholle said, sighing again. "I've got a boyfriend back home."

Curtis looked a bit taken aback.

"What?"

"I'm sorry I didn't tell you sooner, but I've been having relationship troubles with Stuart."

"I understand." Curtis said. "I'm just glad you told me now then later."

Nicholle managed to smile.

"Thank you for being so understanding." Nicholle said.

"I suppose your boyfriend doesn't have to know about our little fling." Curtis said, winking at Nicholle.

Nicholle smirked before saying, "You're right."

Curtis and Nicholle then kissed each other. As they were doing so, Sally watched them.

Nicholle, you idiot! Sally thought to herself.

Meanwhile, Stephanie is in bed asleep when she has a dream about Louis.

"Stephanie..."

*Dream Sequence*

Stephanie opens her eyes and sees Louis staring at her.

"Louis? Is that you?" Stephanie asked.

"Of course it's me." Louis replied.

"I love you so much." Stephanie said. "I just wish that I had the chance to tell you."

Louis wiped away a tear before smiling at Stephanie.

"I love you too, Stephanie Mboto." he said.

They hugged each other tightly before Louis said, "Stephanie, as much as we were going to be a future item, my death unfortunately happened. I don't want you to forget about me, but you and Tiegan must move on. Corey and I want you to live life to the fullest and hopefully move on and find someone else in your life."

"But I don't want to forget about you, Louis." Stephanie said.

"Never forget the memories that we had, Stephanie." Louis said. "But I don't want my death to stop you from finding another guy to love."

Stephanie starts to cry before hugging Louis again.

"Goodbye." she whispered.

Stephanie then wakes up in her bed. She looks around the room before sighing to herself.

"I'll always miss you, Louis."

Stephanie then looked out the window and stared at the night sky.

The next day, Selina was watching TV in Jerome's living room when she hears a loud knock on the door!

"Who is it?"

When there was no response, Selina opened the door and was shocked to discover who was standing there!

"Irene?!"

Irene entered the house. She was far from happy with Selina's behaviour as of late!

"I wanna have a chat with you, girlie!" Irene said.

"How did you find me?!" Selina asked angrily.

"It doesn't matter!" Irene snapped. "Right now, all I want is an explanation for your behaviour and why you ran away!"

Selina rolled her eyes before saying, "I wanted to see Jerome, Irene. I love him and I don't want to lose him!"

"So, you're acting out by smoking cigarettes, dying your hair burgundy without permission and giving me attitude?!"

Irene then noticed Selina's new nose piercing and did she ever go off her head?!

"WHAT is that thing on your nose, young lady?!"

"Oh, it's a nose ring." Selina replied curtly.

"Well, it's coming off the minute we return to Summer Bay tonight." Irene said. "I've already booked us a flight home and when we get back to Summer Bay, you and I will be having a long talk about how your choosing to behave!"

"Can't I at least say goodbye to Jerome first?"

"Yes, you will be allowed to say goodbye to Jerome." Irene told her.

Selina just stood there with a rather sour expression on her face.
