Kagome awoke smelling the morning dew that had settled into the ground making it damp. Slowly the events from the previous day came back to her and she sat up.

Feeling her clothes hardened against her body she looked down at herself seeing the grime and her caked on blood covering her legs and hands.

"Good morning Kagome." Rin greeted as she came from somewhere in the wooded area with some berries and nuts it looked like.

"Good morning Rin." She replied. Glancing over to where Sesshomaru had been sitting she saw only an empty space.

"Lord Sesshomaru comes and goes. Maybe he went to get Jaken, he does that sometimes." Rin said sitting beside her and handing her some of what she had collected. "You need a bath."

"I know. Usually I would jump right in but I have to wash my clothes and I don't have any to change into…it just seems like a lot right now." Kagome sighed out still not hungry.

"When Rin died and Lord Sesshomaru found me I had a lot of bad dreams. I remembered it, the way it happened, and it made everything harder." Rin said. "But they went away. Did you have bad dreams Kagome?"

"No. I don't think so. I just feel tired. It's probably because I lost so much blood." She thought out. Rin jumped up on her feet and took Kagome by the hand.

"Come on. There's a nice place to wash up that I found. Rin will help you with washing and cleaning your clothes." She offered.

"Thanks Rin. That's very nice of you." Kagome gave a small smile to the little girl who beamed one back at her.

"You saved me. You're so brave Kagome, I could never do what you did. Come on An, come on Un. You can get some nice grass while we're down there." Rin beckoned the dragons and obediently they followed her.

Once by the water Kagome kicked off her loafers and peeled off her knee high stockings placing them down on the grass.

Next came the skirt and her kerchief around her neck. Unbuttoning the shirt she hadn't realized some the fabric was stuck to her and she had to rip it off.

Dropping it she saw her pink bra and matching panties were also soaked through with her own blood. Taking them off she dropped them guessing they were a lost cause.

Running her hand over her abdomen and lower back she couldn't even begin to comprehend what the extent of her injuries had been. Walking towards the water she waded in dunking her head under.

Scrubbing at the back of her head she untangled the mangled locks before resurfacing and repeated a few times. The water around her was a brown color making her feel as she were going to vomit.

Splashing at the water and moving away from it she saw Rin with her sleeves up by the waters edge scrubbing away at Kagome school uniform.

She seemed content as she hummed to herself and Kagome recalled what Rin had said, she had died and Sesshomaru had revived her as well.

Moving closer to Rin she decided to get some more information about what had happened without traumatizing the little girl.

"Hey Rin, how did you meet Sesshomaru?" Kagome questioned.

"Rin found Lord Sesshomaru in the forest where I lived. He was hurt so I helped him." She said with a happy smile. "He said he didn't want my help but when I was beat up he asked me who hurt me. I couldn't talk but it made me so happy that he cared about me."

"Who beat you up?"

"The other villagers. I stole fish for me because I gave mine to Lord Sesshomaru."

"What about your parents? Where are they?" Kagome asked before realizing Rin was probably an orphan.

"My mother, father, and brothers were killed by bandits." She said not pressing the matter any.

"So, the villagers used to hit you. Is that why you're with Sesshomaru?"

"They all died. Wolves came and killed then. A demon was looking for something, then he told his wolves to eat the villagers." As she spoke Kagome could remember a village that had been under attack by wolves before shortly meeting Koga.

"The wolves attacked you."

"Yes." Rin said holding up her shirt to see it better. Submerging it back into the water she swished it around. "I ran to where Lord Sesshomaru was but he had left. He came back to Rin and helped me."

"Oh." Kagome said uncertain what else she could say.

"Rin." She heard Sesshomarus voice from the tree line but couldn't see him.

"Coming my lord." Rin said taking the garment out of the water and running towards his voice. Kagome watched as she reached up with her hands taking something and nodding her head.

Walking back towards Kagome she saw it was a package wrapped in some cloth. "Lord Sesshomaru said this is for you."

"What is it?" She asked. Shrugging Rin placed it down untying it.

"It's a kimono!" She held it up for Kagome to see. The garment was blue with green and brown patterns adorning it.

"Oh, wow." Kagome was surprised to say the least that Sesshomaru would bring her clothing.

"I think it's like mine. If it is it's demons cloth. If you rip it or get it dirty then it will fix itself." Rin inspected it placing it back down. Taking the cloth the kimono had been wrapped in Rin offered it to her for a towel.

Scanning the area hoping that Sesshomaru wasn't still facing them she got out of the water feeling better to see herself clean. Drying off she covered her front before moving to the kimono.

Putting it on it fit her perfectly. Rin handed her the tie to secure it in place as she gushed over it.

"It really is nice." Kagome smoothed down the skirt of it appreciating that it only came down to her knees to allow her to move around still with relative ease.

Gathering her uniform she looked it over knowing the shirt needed a good bleaching. Wringing it all out she folded them as they went back to where they had made camp.

Sesshomaru was sitting back where he had been as if he hadn't moved. Kagome walked in front of him bowing herself respectfully.

"Thank you for the kimono. It was very thoughtful of you Sesshomaru." She said before straightening herself out.

"You're welcome." He said with his eyes still closed.
