Reveal of a Hated Best Friend
"Okay, everything is good to go?" Lightning Dust asked her crew.
"Everything is ready to rock and roll, girl!" One tall and muscular woman informed with a thumb up.
Lightning Dust ahead seeing the three small fire rings that about the size of her body with sharks in water tanks and between the fire rings, a green swing bar at the end for her to swing across while avoiding the deadly arrows shooting from below, and jumping on five trampolines to reach a cannon to fire herself through a brick wall to grab blue flag.
"Lightning, I think you might've really gone overboard with this idea." One crew member worried.
"Oh please, I survived worst things like this." Lightning Dust smirked.
"Sure, you barely survived and only ended up in the hospital twice this year, but this time I you really have brought yourself a way to end your career." The crew member pointed out the danger.
"Trust me, I know what I'm doing because this stuntwoman is gonna make history." Lightning Dust believed before scooting herself into the first cannon.
"Now, let's light up this puppy!" Lightning Dust excited.
The manager and the crew look at each other feeling a little worried for their main stuntwoman though this is the same woman who does the impossible with these crazy things, and she comes back in mostly one piece.
"Okay then." The manager shrugged.
The manager pressed the button on the panel and Lightning Dust is fired from the cannon.
Lightning Dust files through the three rings of fire while effortlessly avoiding the sharks as they tried to jump and chump her down, she grabs the rope swinging and the arrows comes shooting upward as she swings around on the rope and showing her agility to avoid them as one flow right between her breasts.
"Whoa, felt a breeze from that." Lightning Dust commented.
She jumps off the rope and starts jumping on the trampolines and going into the cannon as it's aimed perfectly for the brick wall.
"Fire!" Lightning Dust shouted.
The cannon fired her out as she soars fast for the brick wall reeling her fist back and punch right through the wall at she kept going, and she grabs the blue flag from the thin pole as she grabs on spinning then strike a pose waving the flag with a smirk.
"And that was one of my best stunts." Lightning Dust bragged.
The scene zooms out revealing the stunt Lightning Dust just did was on the TV with a video footage from her stunt performance, and the ones watching the footage are none other than Flash and his monster girls.
"Oh man, I can't believe you actually did that!" Rainbow Dash amazed.
"And that you're in one piece, didn't even think you could punch a brick wall too." Applejack surprised.
"You could say I'm no ordinary woman." Lightning Dust proclaimed.
"Still, the preparations and workout you must've done was hard to get through for most people who don't have the body and mind to do that kind of stunt." Twilight stated.
"You got that right, you always got to keep the high spirit in yourself take that first step and keep going without looking back." Lightning Dust said.
"But don't you get scared every time you do those stunts?" Sonata asked curious.
"Who isn't scared these days, but being scared can help be a great motivator to acknowledge your weaknesses in order to move forward and it can make you feel alert too." Lightning Dust explained how stunt people like her would always feel.
"It takes a lot of courage and strength to admit they're scared when facing death in the face." Gojira complimented.
"Lightning Dust always try being the brave girl and have the means to back them up, and she became a lot braver overtime with her stunts." Flash explained.
"That's because of you've been supporting and cheering me on with my dream and career, it's like you've been charging me up before you became an awesome monster!" Lightning Dust smiled hugging onto his arm.
"Sounds like Flash really boosted your confident and courage when you met that summertime." Twilight recalled mentioning about that.
"Yeah, that was when Soarin had to go to that soccer camp and I was all alone, that is until I crash into this guy." Lightning Dust smiled roughing up his hair a little.
"Literally." Flash chuckled.
"I can still remember that day all those years ago when I was late for my summer part-time job and I tried taking a shortcut." Flash started explaining how they met.
(Flashback)
Flash is seen skateboarding through the sidewalk going fast with a panicking look on his face and look at the time on his phone.
"Oh shit, I'm going to be late for my shift and my boss is gonna be mad with his trumpet to my ear!" Flash freaked out as he tried going faster.
He hopes to at least kind a shortcut that will get him to his job faster until he spotted an open path through the park which gave him the idea of a shortcut, he decided to just go for it and skate into the park hoping to be on time.
Meanwhile, Lightning Dust just finished getting the giant rubber slingshot between two trees getting ready to try out on one of her stunts.
"Okay Lightning, you can do that. Just sling yourself right through the target and grab the pie." Lightning Dust talked to herself seeing the target and the pie right behind it.
"Time we get things extreme!" Lightning Dust smacked her face and started going backward to pull on the rubber.
Once she has gotten far enough seeing at the rubber can't stretch any further knowing this means it is time for the launch as she lifted her legs up and sent flying for the target.
However, at the same time Flash was skateboarding through the path believing this was a great idea to take the park that will get him to his job on time and spotted a pie on a tray.
"Huh, why is there a lonely pie out here?" Flash wondered.
Suddenly Lightning Dust burst out from the target as her eyes widen of shock seeing someone getting in the way of her flight path, Flash also notice the girl becoming shock of her as well as couldn't do anything to get out of the way.
Lightning Dust crash into Flash that tackles him and the two starts rolling and bouncing on the grass as they also crashes onto the pie until they stop with Flash at the bottom and Lightning Dust at the top.
"Dude, you just ruined my stunt." Lightning Dust complained with some cream on her face.
"Well, you ruined my chance of making to my work on time." Flash talked back with the cream on his face and hair.
"How you just…" But Flash stopped when he saw Lightning Dust face.
"Wait, you got nothing to…" Lightning Dust went silence upon meeting this guy.
They started looking directly into each other's eyes feeling something good from their hearts and an instant flash of purple shine happens on their eyes.
"You're looking creamy here." Lightning Dust giggled as she licked the cream from his nose.
(Flashback End)
"Creamy? Did you seriously just say that?" Rainbow Dash laughed as she fell on the floor.
"Hey, I wasn't thinking straight and we were in the moment." Lightning Dust blushed.
"And that when you two started seeing each other through the summer?" Aria asked.
"Yep, Lightning and I would hang out a lot than we realize with the thought of dating each other came to me and that's when I asked her to be my girlfriend two weeks before high school started." Flash nodded.
"And then you met Soarin making him your new best buddy!" Pinkie guessed the rest.
"That's right, I was real happy to see how well the two were getting along and I even had this silly idea of carving our names on a tree at the schoolground." Lightning Dust chuckled.
Flash stop smiling at the memory of seeing the tree again with the names and to find out that his name has been carved out of the tree for some reason, it was so weird that his name was no longer there like someone took it out on purpose.
"Flash, is everything okay?" Lightning Dust asked.
"Oh, yeah, yeah, I'm fine." Flash said, still thinking a little.
"I think his mind is thinking back on the tree he showed me with his name no longer there. From what I can tell, someone carved around his name and ripped it out." Twilight explained.
"For real? Who would do such a thing?" Lightning Dust surprised.
"Maybe someone held a grudge against you guys." Applejack guessed.
"Does anyone even know about the carving on the tree?" Adagio asked another question.
"No, it was our own secret marking on Canterlot High. The only ones who know about it are me, Flash, and Soarin." Lightning Dust stated.
"(Soarin, huh?)" Sunset thought felt suspicious of the guy and decided to do a little investigation as she leaves.
"You going somewhere, Sunset?" Gojira asked.
"Just out for a little errand, shouldn't take me too long." Sunset answered before walking outside.
Sunset got outside the house and started using her magic to create a portal right in front of Soarin's house, good thing Flash decided to go visit him the other day hoping to spend some time with his best friend only that Soarin was "busy" at the time and couldn't go out.
But thinking about it now, Soarin had that dark look on his face that he didn't want to see Flash again nor want to spend any moments with him at all.
"Time to see what you really think of Flash, Soarin." Sunset said as she appeared in front of the house.
Sunset flew to the top windows trying to find where Soarin's bedroom where until she spotted one room that seems likely a bedroom, using her magic to make the window open for her and enters the room.
Sunser knew she had to make this quick before Soarin comes up here and discover that she is here for something, she looks threw the drawers of his clothes and on his desk until she found a photo of three friends together.
"This must've been on their first day of high school together." Sunset guessed seeing how young they looked back then.
But then she notice some odd in the picture narrowing her eyes closer to Flash almost like he got a line on his face, she presses her finger onto the photo of Flash and the finger went through showing that his head has been cut down in the middle.
"Way to cut down on Flash's hair." Sunset said.
She turns around seeing the closet feeling like she's about to see something more than the photo she just found in there, she walks over the door slowly opening it just in case there's a trap setup which there doesn't seem to be any trap though what she saw inside was disturbing and shock to her demonic core.
"Oh man, this is worse as I feared." Sunset said.
"Hey!" Soarin yelled as he arrived in his room surprising Sunset a bit.
"What the Hell are you doing here?" Soarin asked seriously angry.
"Looking for something that was taken from a certain tree… from your old school." Sunset answered with a glare.
"I don't know what fucking tree you're talking about, but you better get out of here before I call the police on you." Soarin threatened.
Sunset can sense that Soarin is lying and feeling scared when she mentioned about the tree from Canterlot High, she saw how his eyes widen for a second and took a step back before getting back his composure.
"Then would you mind explaining why you have those stuff in the closet?" Sunset asked pointing her thumb at the inside of the closet.
"None of your business, now leave or I'll fuck force you to leave." Soarin shouted getting angrier now.
Talking to him isn't gonna make him spill the beans about his true feelings though she didn't need to hear words from the guy when she has her own special methods of knowing what is really going on.
Sunset walks over to Soarin with one hand out that is sparking of dark red electricity aura that makes the young man move backward trying to tell her to leave, but Sunset wouldn't have it until she has the truth.
With no other choice, Soarin took out a screwdriver he was gonna use to fix his chair that has been wobbling for a while now to stab in it into this demon bitch, but she easily caught his arm.
"Thanks for making it easy for me." Sunset smirked before her eyes glow white for a few seconds, and she lets go.
"To think Flash has been showing you kindness and friendship after all these years." Sunset glared.
"You have no idea of how much that bastard hurt me, he ruined everything of me!" Soarin angered as he was about to attack Sunset again with a little sharp knife from his other pocket.
But Sunset summons her Hellfire magic consuming herself, Soarin, and everything in the closet to teleport them right in front of Flash's house which they notice and came out.
"Sunset, what are you doing with Soarin?" Flash asked.
"To show you the truth, that Soarin isn't the friend you thought he is." Sunset placed an item in Flash's hand.
Flash looks down and became shocked of seeing a piece of wood with his name on it that instantly made him realize this was the missing piece from the tree at school that was gone.
"Wait, you're saying…" Flash paused in shock as Lightning Dust see this.
"Yes, it was Soarin who took the piece and from the looks of it, that was over two weeks ago probably around the time you and Lightning Dust were supposed to get married but taken to the base." Sunset explained.
"Hold on, are you saying that Soarin has some beef with Flash. That's bullshit, he's been our friend for years." Lightning Dust pointed out.
"Yes, and you were his longer, but he only saw Flash as a blight." Sunset levitated the stuff she took from the closet showing them to everyone.
They all became shocked, Gojira becoming angry, with Flash and Lightning Dust being more shocked the most of what they were seeing.
They see lots of pictures of the three friends together and some of them are just Flash and Lightning Dust together when they do selfies, but all the Flashs' in those pictures are marked with black X and drawn in ways that Flash looks like a monster or just being dead with other pictures with Flash in them are cut off from the head. The pictures of Lightning Dust and Soarin are marked inside a red heart with the words forever a few on each photos.
And that's not all because there are several other photos with Soarin's head being glued on top of Flash's head making it look like he was there with Lightning Dust and not Flash.
"Soarin…?" Lightning Dust felt scared as she moves onto Flash.
"Soarin has been in love with you for some time during your times in elementary school since that's where you met and he has been trying to find ways to tell you how he felt once you two got into high school, but that plan never came to be when he met Flash and saw how you two were close." Sunset explained.
"You looked into Soarin's mind!" Twilight realized as Sunset nods.
(Flashback)
The moment Sunset grab's Soarin's arm and her eyes glow white.

Sunset saw memories of Soarin always being close to Lightning Dust and the fun times they had, how much he has a crush on her for years and wanted her to be his girlfriend.
One memory showed of Soarin meeting Flash for the first time and how they're holding hands then felt hurt more when Lightning Dust kissed Flash on the cheek, but he put up a fake smile for Lightning Dust.
More memories show of Soarin feeling anger and hated towards Flash the more he was spending time with Lightning Dust and how he would always make take out his anger on the photos of them and try make it he and Lightning Dust were the item.
Then came the day of their wedding with Flash strange monster transformation and was taken away, he went back to Canterlot High taking his name away from his and Lightning Dust.
(Flashback End)
"Soarin wanted nothing more than for Flash to be gone from his life so that he can finally have Lightning Dust for himself, and I bet he tried that opportunity when you were taken to Area 51." Sunset stated.
"Soarin, how could you… You were my best friend, me and Lightning Dust trusted you. You were even my best man at the wedding." Flash shocked.
"SHUT THE FUCK UP?!" Soarin shouted, letting his true colors be revealed.
"I have been putting up with the bullshit that Lightning Dust fell with for some idiot instead of me! I've known her longer, I was always the man for her to count on, we were supposed to be the power couple forever, and yet she choice a fucking guy who just likes to play some dumb music!" Soarin angered as he stood up.
"I was finally gonna have my way when the government took you away, but… but no! Lightning Dust still thinks of you, never dropping her dumb love for you." Soarin marched toward Flash and angers Lightning Dust.
"But even after you turning into a fucking monster that should be killed on the spot, she still loves you like fucking Hell!" Soarin mentioned angry.
"Well, they did fuck together." Pinkie said.
"You took everything from me! And now I want you DEAD!" Soarin thrusted the knife at Flash for the head, but Lightning Dust grabs the knife ripping it off from the hilt despite bleeding hard.
Seeing her blood made Flash snap something from the inside and roar with a lightning punch right on the stomach knocking him down on the street.
Flash regain his thoughts and realize what he just did.
"Soarin, I'm sorry! I didn't…" Flash tried to apologize for hurting him.
"Just die, Sentry! Die like all the other monsters that were hunted for being something else than others, and for stealing MY woman! Stealing her from like the monster you are!" Soarin shouted anger again as he coughs up a little blood.
But he was finally shut up by Lightning Dust with a strong punch to the head knocking him out-cold.
"You always were a wincer when things didn't go your way." Lightning Dust disappointed of how her childhood friend turned out.
But then Flash flies away in hurry with the emotions of being hurt and betrayed at the same time.
"Flash!" Lightning Dust called out and Gojira place her on her shoulder.
"After him!" Gojira ordered as everyone go follow Flash, leaving the poor and now pathetic Soarin unconscious on the street.

Soarin's real feelings for Flash hating him over the years have finally come to light as he never once thought of Flash as a friend, he just wanted to be with Lightning Dust and wanted to only be him with her. Now Flash is feeling broken of the betrayal and left to cool his head with his harem following.
