Chapter Eight:

Shortly after breakfast, during which the carnivorous and predatory instincts brought on by Izuchi's Rathian-Quirk (even if it was more subtle than last night) showed themselves when Izuchi (once given the go-ahead) almost ravenously devoured the majority of the meat included in the breakfast (mainly bacon as Nemuri had opted for a more western breakfast due to thinking it was something more appealing to her charge's inner Queen of the Land), one of first things that Nemuri and Izuchi did was getting the necessary measurements taken in order to rush order some clothes specially made for Izuchi. Provided by the clothing-branch of a large company called the Abnormal Bodies Company (or the ABC for short). A company that specializes in providing services for people with… well… abnormal bodies, namely holders of Mutant-Quirks, such as adapting technology for those whose mutated physiology made it difficult or downright impossible to use normal technology due to various factors such as lacking the necessary dexterity on account of effectively having more or less than the average amount of fingers. In this case, providing clothing specifically made with Izuchi's mutated physiology in mind.

Something that Nemuri discovered about her charge was that Izuchi had a somewhat fluctuating ability to remain still for long. Rather quickly getting stir crazy when something wasn't keeping her interest fixed on something, which seemed to keep her urge to not be still in check. Though considering that Izuchi wasn't the first person with an Animal-subclassed Mutant-Quirk Nemuri met (but was the first one that the dark purple haired woman had actually gotten to properly know through an extended period of time), the R-rated Hero wasn't really surprised by the reptilian girl's behavior, seeing as Animal-subclassed mutants in general never liked confinement. Thankfully, Nemuri managed to keep her charge entertained by allowing the holder of the Rathian-Quirk to watch her guardian play Monster Hunter, teaming up with seemingly random people against the various versions of the Flying Wyvern Izuchi's Quirk gave the girl the traits of. Some of the fellow hunters Nemuri, who went by the username of '53Xy Sle3pwa1ker', had usernames that Izuchi couldn't help but find vaguely familiar. The three players most frequent ones going by the usernames of '5em1-Ru55ian R0u1ett3', who wielded a Heavy Bowgun in-game, 'C4pt41N 5ma5h', who wielded a Great Sword in-game, and 'Can & W1lh31m-Scr3am' (A/N: if these are someones' actual usernames, it's coincidental), who wielded a Hunting Horn in-game. Nemuri's own hunter/avatar, which looked nothing like the person behind the controller (outside of having the same gender), wielded a rather weird and interesting weapon (in Izuchi's opinion) called an Insect Glaive.

Becoming quite curious about the franchise with a creature that her Quirk shared its name with in it, Izuchi naturally asked Nemuri if she could try it. While she didn't get to try any of the more (in the words of Nemuri) traditional entrees in the franchise, on the argument that she wouldn't be able to enjoy it due to lacking the dexterity (effectively having only six fingers, effectively three on each hand), the dark purple haired woman created a new save for her charge on a spin off that was played in a way that required less dexterity. The sight of Izuchi actually pouting at being denied trying something that looked fun (and at Nemuri's slightly insensitive but ultimately true argument) was a sight that Nemuri was quick to capture on her phone, finding it adorable. Especially since the dark purple haired woman had rather quickly picked up on a certain cue that made Izuchi an open book when it came to her mood, namely the reptilian girl's tail involuntarily swaying or at least twitching in ways that gave away her mood, similar to how canines' and felines' tails moved to display their mood. The fact that Izuchi seemed to be unaware of her obvious tell only made it more adorable to Nemuri.
