Inko Midoriya couldn't help but find her situation amusing due to the sheer irony over the fact that, in a different time, she could have been a lawyer, as she found herself in the courtroom. She was fully aware that she had next to no chance of winning the court case. All she could really do was pray that Izuchi's life would be better with her new guardian, a female Hero, and that Inko could get a chance to at least apologize and say goodbye.
As the proceedings went on, the green haired woman couldn't help but notice the occasional sounds of something outside the courtroom in the hallway. Said sounds sounded a lot like three people playing a game of Twister of all things, or rather two people actually playing with the third person simply announcing what the spinner (or whatever technological equivalent being used) landed upon. Given the advancements in technology over the last two hundred years, Inko wouldn't be particularly surprised if the game of Twister outside the courtroom was being played with something called an interactive real-time projector, something that she had spotted in the windows of the more high-end toy stores a few months back. At the sound of the two players apparently collapsing on each other, the judges came to a conclusion regarding her sentence (A/N: It's very likely I'm getting a lot of things about this wrong. I know next to nothing about law and legal procedures. But please, anyone with actual knowledge in these fields, please ignore the errors in regards to law and such things and simply enjoy the story). Twenty years or so in prison, with a very small chance of being let out early on good behavior.
As the green haired woman was moved towards the prison transport, she spotted the source of the noise outside the courtroom in the hallway. A pair of young girls consisting of her daughter, Izuchi Midoriya, and another holder of an Animal-subclassed Mutant-Quirk, playing a game of Twister along with a woman who was without question a Heroine, but not one that Inko recognized, which meant that the Heroine was very likely not a Mainstream Hero but an Underground one, who was simply sitting on a bench and announcing whatever the automated spinner/projector landed on to the two girls playing the game. Something that was further evident by the rather simple looking dark blue (nearly black) body suit the woman was wearing, the only real exception being the very high tech looking eyepatch-like thing with a red lens covering the woman's left eye, that was integrated into the woman's completely face covering mask, which was the same color as the rest of her suit/costume, dark blue that was almost black.
"And here I thought Nemuri was flexible. Alright, let's see where what goes where." Muttered the probably Underground Heroine in slight awe at the tangled mess that was the limbs of the two girls playing Twister, before tapping a button on the projector. The fact that one of the girls, namely Izuchi, had a tail on top of having abnormal limbs, namely arms that shifted into wings from the elbow down (technically from the hand), actually made it kind of impressive that the two hadn't collapsed on each other yet, though Inko wasn't sure how long the two had been going at it. "Ah. Left hand on… color code 00FF."
"Left hand on what?" Asked the literally pink-skinned girl, who was holding herself up with her buttom being suspended above the middle of Izuchi's back, right above the rough and hard green scales running down Izuchi's spine.
"синий."
"Again, what?"
"*sigh* blue. Left hand on blue."
"Why didn't you just say blue? The two of us might be starting to learn Russian but we don't understand enough to figure out what you're saying without having to really think for some time or use the context of the conversation to figure it out." Replied Izuchi as she and her fellow holder of an Animal-subclassed Mutant-Quirk placed their respective left hands on a pair of blue spots, further entangling their limbs together, and earning a few nods of agreement from the literally pink-skinned girl while the probably Underground Heroine simply shrugged. The two girls struggled to keep themselves from collapsing for a few seconds… before promptly failing to keep themselves up, resulting in the two collapsing on top of each other with the literally pink-skinned girl ending up with her posterior on Izuchi's scaly spine and Izuchi's face buried in the gap between her fellow Mutant's thigh and calf. "*muffled screaming sounding a lot like 'MINA! GET OFF OF ME! AND STOP TOUCHING MY BUTT!'*"
"I can't! My arm's stuck under your tail! I can't get it loose!"
"… uh? The two of you do realize that you have an audience, right?" Asked the Underground Heroine while looking back and forth between the tangled up girls and the green-haired woman resembling one of them. Seeing where the Underground Heroine was looking when not looking at them, Izuchi's face flashed through several different emotions as she and her fellow Mutant untangled each other before settling on what appeared to be something in between gratitude and apathy.
"Mother…" not-really muttered Izuchi just loud enough that she could be heard by Inko, who noticed the choice of acknowledgement. The green-haired woman noted that her daughter's tail was swaying sideways in a way that could be interpreted as sadness. As mother and daughter simply stared at each other, the holder of the Rathian-Quirk slowly walked towards the green-haired woman before stopping about a couple meters away from Inko. "You and father brought me into this world and for that I'm grateful. Thank you. But this is goodbye. Goodbye… mother."
"Goodbye… Izuchi." Replied Inko while tearing up, and she wasn't the only one. Izuchi was apparently trying and failing miserably to keep herself from crying. The holder of the Rathian-Quirk wasn't bawling like she would have done when she was younger when her fellow holder of a Mutant-classed Quirk gave Izuchi a comforting hug, which resulted in the effectively taller girl (due to Izuchi constantly standing on her toes due to how the mutation caused by her Quirk affected her feet) latching onto the literally pink-skinned girl. "Some things never change. Still a hugger and clingy when it comes to things she gets attached to."
"Indeed." Muttered the Underground Heroine in response to hearing Inko's own fond muttering as the green-haired woman was getting escorted out of the building.
