It only took a small but rather significant explosion in the nurses' tent to change Hawkeye's life. Not only was the pain excruciating but his sight was completely
gone. He began to see things differently. He heard things he'd never heard before, smelled things he'd never smelled before, and
even his dreams were different. He knew that the nurses blamed themselves and of course he'd make sure they knew it wasn't their fault, but he had to admit that
