gamerlover1009- Yeah, sorry about that. I make lots of mistakes in the allegiances and for some reason I just see the mentor's name and write it as the apprentice as well. I fixed it now I believe.

Atliersky- Yes, they're lucky for now...but Thunder won't be so lucky. (spoiler) They were being watched and Thistlestar won't let it go...

Gray Wing opened his eyes and as expected he found himself back in the cave of his old tribe home. The jagged rocks hanging from the top of the cave, the waterfall cascading behind him, the pool near the middle that Dappled Pelt used to fish in while he and Skystar would dare each other to jump in.

He then focused on what was in front of him and saw cats milling around. His heart ached with longing as he watched and listened to his former tribemates.

"Why are there always stones in my nest?" That was Lion's Roar!

"I can get them out for you!" An unfamiliar kit's voice squeaked and he saw a gray-brown tom skip over.

"Come back, Jay Frost!" Gray Wing recognized Hollow Tree. It must be her and Stone Song's kit. "You'll hurt your pads."

"They'll have to toughen with time," Stone Song meowed, padding over to his worried mate.

On the other side, Twisted Branch was trying to convince Misty Water to eat, but the elder kept turning her head away from the fresh-kill.

"Give it to a younger cat." She nodded at Jay Frost.

Sharp Hail crossed over the cave floor towards them. "The hunting party wi~" He broke off as four kits charged him. At the back was a black tom with ginger spots and amber eyes that looked just like Moon Shadow's.

"Careful!" Gray Wing recognized Dewy Leaf's voice.

You've kitted! He thought happily and then felt grief. Moon Shadow would never find out.

"Gray Wing," an old voice croaked behind him and he turned to see Stoneteller.

"You can see me?" He gasped.

"Yes, we are in the same dream, after all." She touched noses with him.

"But can they see us?" He asked, flicking his tail to indicate the cats around them.

"We are pretty much outside of the dream, watching them," Stoneteller meowed.

That…makes no sense.

"Wait, wait, wait, so am I actually here or still in the warrior's den back in our forest?"

"Both," Stoneteller meowed, eyes alight with amusement.

Huh? I really don't understand…is this how medicine cats feel like…or Pebble Heart? He thought of his son, who had prophetic dreams all the time.

"But for now, all that matters is what is going on here," Stoneteller continued.

Out of the corner of his eye, Gray Wing caught sight of a speckled gray pelt and gasped. "Quiet Rain!" His heart hurt even more. "Is she okay?"

"She's fine."

"Oh, if only she knew…" he trailed off. How would she react if she ever knew her only daughter was dead. That her youngest son was crippled. And that her two oldest sons struggled to fight and protect their Clan almost everyday when all she believed was that they were in a peaceful, bountiful land where they were all friends?

It had seemed like that when they had first arrived. He remembered cats like River Ripple greeting them kindly and helping them find the area they needed to settle down and make camp.

He had made them feel welcome and then suddenly they met the other Clans. They had been aghast as to why another group of cats had come along, claiming to be the new destined fifth Clan. The other Clans had left them alone after that, but had looked a bit unhappy.

And when they had met ThunderClan's leader, Thistlestar, the first thing he had said was that if they ever trespassed on his land, they would regret coming, at all.

"It will be okay," Stoneteller suddenly said. "But I must warn you…greed is only the beginning. There will be war."

Gray Wing swallowed. "With the other Clans…or…"

"A fight~no, a battle. Cats were screaming and fighting. I think I saw Thistlestar there."

Gray Wing gulped as he remembered his son's words.

"Don't be scared," Stoneteller murmured soothingly.

"I'm not scared," he lied. But how could they take on ThunderClan? And what if they had to fight Thunder? Why did he have to go to those cats of all the Clans? He'd even rather that the young tom be in ShadowClan instead. They were way more neutral compared to ThunderClan nowadays.

"Remember you have each other," Stoneteller meowed.

She was right. SkyClan would always have each other's tails.

"And how is Turtle Tail?"

"She's happy," Gray Wing purred, relieved to move into more comfortable territory of a conversation.

"I'm glad you are both happy together," Stoneteller purred before she looked serious again. "Remember you will all face whatever, together."

And with that the dream faded.

"Wait!" Gray Wing wailed but he woke in his nest as the dream ended.

Wait…

Bluefur led her kits miserably through the snow towards the RiverClan border. She kept telling herself it was for the good of the Clan, but it felt unfair to her. Why did she have to give up her pride and joy just to save her Clan?

Why can't someone else do it?

What was she saving ThunderClan from again? Thistleclaw? Maybe he was ambitious but she was sure he wasn't that bad, just dedicated.

Not that she would ever tell that to his face. Besides, Goosefeather had been the one to warn her about him, but cats had stopped listening to her uncle ages ago.

Maybe he's just overreacting again, she thought. Just like he did with Tigerclaw, saying he was a curse or something. He was just a kit, after all.

And hadn't one of his "prophecies" gotten her mother killed? She should have known there was something off about StarClan ordering them to destroy another Clan's herbs. It was such a horrid thing to do. No Clan deserved something like that.

She stopped in her tracks suddenly and made up her mind. She looked into the distance where she knew Oakheart was waiting before she looked back at the ThunderClan border.

She then looked at her kits and felt her heart jolt. Mosskit was lying on the snow barely moving.

"Mama, we're tired," Stonekit mewed, shivering. "I think Mosskit is sleeping now."

Bluefur leaned down and nuzzled her daughter, who barely reacted. Quickly she picked her up and meowed around her scruff, "Okay, let's get back to camp!" Before hurrying away.

She had to slow down from time-to-time in order for Stonekit and Mistykit to keep up even if she wanted to race all the way back to camp. Mosskit was growing weaker.

When she finally reached the ravine Spottedpaw was waiting there for her.

"What's going on?" The young tortoiseshell asked. "Aren't you giving them to RiverClan?"

"RiverClan?" Mistykit squeaked. "They smell. Mousekit said so."

"Mosskit needs help!" Bluefur meowed, panicked. Spottedpaw darted forward without hesitation and snatched the kit before heading back into camp.

Bluefur helped her other kits down the ravine and quickly and quietly bundled them to the nursery, hoping she wouldn't disturb White-eye, Mousekit and Runningkit, sleeping nearby.

"Mama, where you going?" Stonekit asked, trying to follow her again.

"Shh, it's okay. I'll be back. I just have to go get Mosskit. Now go to sleep."

She raced out of the nursery to the medicine den. Featherwhisker was curled up in his den in the back.

"How is she?" Bluefur asked, hovering nervously around Spottedpaw and Mosskit.

"She has a cold, but she'll get better as long as I keep her warm and give her the right herbs," Spottedpaw replied. "Don't worry, Bluefur. She's just smaller than your other kits, but she'll be fine."

Bluefur sighed in relief. "I'm gonna keep them."

Spottedpaw looked up with wide eyes. "But…Thistleclaw…"

"He's just really ambitious," Bluefur assured. "But I'm sure he won't be a bad leader…and I can't throw away my kits like that."

Spottedpaw looked doubtful but just nodded as she watched over Mosskit.

Bluefur woke up with a start. She had had the same dream for a while now. It mostly appeared whenever she realized the mistake of trusting Thistlestar and the horrible truth that ThunderClan was doomed.

Earlier that day, Thunder had been ordered to escort Cinderpaw away with the rogue kits and to leave them to rot alone in the forest.

Frostfur had been inconsolable for a while having first lost her mate and now one of her kits had been led to her death.

Bluefur had really believed Thunder was a good cat, but now she knew he was on good terms with Thistlestar. Close to him. Ready to help bring the Clan down.

She looked at Stonefur and Mossflower sleeping nearby. Had she done the right thing? If she didn't, wouldn't Mossflower be dead?

After the fire prophecy Spottedleaf had told her about so many moons ago, the medicine cat had told her about a new prophecy she had recently received a moon before Thunder had joined.

"Thunder and Lightning will help the forest Clan rise up."

They had come up with the idea it had to do with Thunder, but they didn't know who Lightning was yet.

But now it seemed another prophecy savior was gone.

ThunderClan was truly doomed.
