Here's chapter 4. Starting the tour of the museum.
Victoria lead David and Julie throughout the museum, entering a room full of Asian figures. "Now keep it moving, you 2. I'm pretty spry for a woman my age." Victoria advised. "This is the Asian drama room." The couple looked around. "Oh yeah. I remember these guys." David said as he and Julie walked up to the White Rascals exhibit. "Cool." Julie said.
As they continued, they lost sight of Victoria. "Victoria?" Julie called when the lights in their hall suddenly went dim. "Hey, Victoria?!" David called. As they passed by an exhibit containing monsters from Goosebumps. Suddenly, one of the Scarecrows stepped off the exhibit and tapped David on the shoulder, making him and Julie scream at the sight. But then, it took it's mask off, revealing a laughing Victoria. "Did I get you good?" She asked. "Yeah. You got us." David said. Victoria, still laughing, placed the costume back into its place. "Seriously though. No fooling around in here. This stuff's really old." She said.
"Alright then. As you can see it's pretty quiet in here these days." Victoria said as they walked up the stairs. "On the left there is your Wolfman from 2010." She said, pointing to a werewolf figure on the left. "And here we have our Baymax from Big Hero 6." She pointed to a robot figure they were passing. They continued on into a room full of Pokémon. "And this, of course, is the Hall of Pokémon." She announced. "Ah yes." David said. Julie looked to a corner that had the Pokémon Spinda. "Ooh, Spinda! I love Spinda." She said, walking over. She looked at the Spinda with the heart mark. "She's cute." "Yeah. We call her Lucy." Victoria explained. "She's quite a little ball of fun, aren't ya, Lucy?" She asked the statue. Julie looked at Victoria with a smile. "Moving on." Victoria said walking away. Julie took one last look at the Spinda and followed.
They walked into an Egyptian room filled with Medjai warriors. "And finally, this is the room of The Mummy." Victoria said, pulling out her flashlight. "And in that tomb right down there, the evil Princess Ahmanet herself." She explained. "Neat." David said as they walked towards the tomb. "And hanging on the wall behind her is her Pharaoh father's most prized possession: The Tablet of Ahmanet." She explained. "24 karat gold. Worth a fortune." "Cool." David said. "It is indeed, David. Very cool." Victoria agreed, still looking at the tablet. David and Julie looked at Victoria. Victoria looked back at them and lead them out. "Alright. Report here 5:00 tomorrow and I'll walk you both through your duties." She said. "K. 5:00. We'll be here." David said as he and Julie followed. "Moving on." Victoria called.
Back at their apartment, Julie was talking to Olivia on the phone, carrying 2 plastic covered suits. "Hey sis. So, me and David got a job." She told her. "Oh, Julie that's great! What is it?" Olivia asked from the other line. "Uh, it's a job at the Museum of Fictional History." Julie explained. "Cool." "Yeah. So, you can tell Amanda that we won't be moving." "Sis, this is good news!" Olivia said. "Yeah. Definitely. So, see you tomorrow, sis?" Julie asked. "Sure thing." "Great. Bye." Julie hung up the phone and looked at the uniforms.
David came from out of the bathroom and looked at his girlfriend. "You alright?" He asked. Julie looked at her boyfriend. "Just a little nervous." She answered. David walked over and wrapped his arms around her waist. "It's okay. I'm a little nervous too." He said in comfort. "But hey, this'll be our moment. I know it." He assured. Julie turned around and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Me too. Me too." She agreed. They then kissed passionately. They pulled apart to breathe. "Think Amanda might want a younger sibling?" Julie asked. "She's been talking to me about it last week." David said. "Then, why wait another second?" Julie asked seductively. As they kissed again, David picked her up, carried her to their bedroom and shut the door.
Sorry if this chapter was on the short side. But the big night is coming up on the next chapter. Don't worry!
