Atliersky- Yes, you're correct about Slash and One Eye. As for who the spy is, well, she'll be fully introduced later in the books like in canon. Gray Wing was the first to meet her if that hint helps.

A few days passed after the dramatic Gathering and SkyClan had trained harder than ever to be prepared for whatever hit. Fire Heart woke in the warriors' den expecting to see Jackdaw's Cry still sleeping with Hawk Swoop on his other side, but his nest was empty and he was sharply reminded of where his friend was.

He sighed and gently got up in order to not disturb Ravenpaw. Of course, the black tom awoke anyway and sat up.

"What's wrong, Fire Heart?" The black tom asked, noticing his melancholy expression.

"I just…miss Jackdaw's Cry," he said quietly and Ravenpaw nuzzled him sympathetically.

"We'll see him again soon. After the meeting," the black tom assured. "I'm sure the meeting will go just fine."

"I hope so."

The two padded out the den and were greeted by a warm, sunny day. A good day to hunt.

Fire Heart noticed Cinderpaw lounging outside the apprentices den, sharing tongues with Ivy Breeze, who looked more shy than usual for some reason.

"Cinderpaw!" Fire Heart called over. "Do you want to go hunting with us?" He flicked his tail between himself and Ravenpaw.

Cinderpaw leaped to her paws and raced across the clearing to them. "Yes!" she exclaimed, delight shining in her eyes at hunting with her uncle and one of her mentors.

Jagged Peak had really helped her with the exercises for she hardly limped now and had bounded over quite easily.

Cinderpaw followed after the pair as they headed for the entrance tunnel. As they exited they passed an incoming patrol with Hawk Swoop in the lead, holding a rabbit.

"Hi, Fire Heart!" She waved her tail cheerfully at her friend and then his two companions before she bounded into the camp. Jagged Peak, Tall Shadow, Fircone and his apprentice, Lightning Tail followed after the orange tabby, with Jagged Peak saluting his friend as well.

She seems more happy. That's good.

Fire Heart led Ravenpaw and Cinderpaw to the Sandy Tunnels, an area of sand with many dug out tunnels all around, and started sniffing around for prey. Rabbits and moles mostly lived around here.

"Alright, Cinderpaw. What can you smell?" He quizzed the energetic she-cat, who had been shuffling around excitedly as she looked for prey.

"Mouse, rabbit, blackbird, some bird I don't know, and–ooh fox!" She listed very fast.

Fire Heart blinked.

"That bird is a woodpecker," Ravenpaw purred, amused by his niece's eagerness. "And the fox scent…two days old."

"Oh. Phew!" Cinderpaw bounded down one of the tunnels. Fire Heart sighed and raced after her.

"Fire Heart! Cinderpaw!" Ravenpaw's panicked yowl made him freeze his pursuit. "C'mere!"

He felt a head bump his as Cinderpaw suddenly whipped around he and hissed in pain. "C'mon!" He said to Cinderpaw and the two quickly backtracked until they emerged into the open. "Ravenpaw, what is it?"

"ShadowClan! It's like Skystar expected! They're coming to raid our camp! For-for me!"

"Okay, okay, okay," Fire Heart muttered as Cinderpaw gasped. "Ravenpaw, you go hid–"

"What? No, I'm fighting! I'm tired of hiding," Ravenpaw mewed bravely.

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. And besides, they don't exactly know who the spy is."

"He's got a point. Now let's go fight these mouse-brains!" Cinderpaw exclaimed.

Fire Heart smirked.

"Let's go!"

"ShadowClan!" Thunder's yowl brought Gray Wing into the clearing just as Nightstar burst into the camp followed by Cinderfur, Deerfoot and many others.

"Aw, what the hell do these guys want?" Quick Water groaned.

"Let's find out." Gray Wing launched himself at Nightstar. Thunder immediately raced to his uncle's side and Gray Wing smiled. Together they slashed out at Nightstar as the sickly leader dodged and nipped at them.

Yellowfang had pinned down Finchflight, still the formidable fighter she was. Hawk Swoop let out a war cry and flung herself at Cinderfur. The skinny deputy crumpled to the ground with a yelp of pain.

Nightstar slashed at Gray Wing's flank and the SkyClan deputy hopped backwards, howling in pain. He bumped into Fernshade and the tortoiseshell easily shoved him to the ground.

Gray Wing felt his chest tighten and started to panic. No! He clawed helplessly at Fernshade's chest. Not now!

Just then, the weight was lifted off of him. Gray Wing struggled to his feet to see Cinderpaw chasing the tortoiseshell warrior out of camp.

"Ha! Take that!" She turned to Gray Wing. "Not so bad for a cripple, huh?" Her eyes glinted happily.

"That was excellent!" He praised her. "Keep fighting like that and you'll be a warrior in no time."

Suddenly two cats slammed into Gray Wing from behind. He scrambled away and turned to see Tall Shadow fighting Flintfang. The ShadowClan warrior bit down on her shoulder. Gray Wing tensed, ready to help his friend when she let out a yowl and battered at Flintfang's belly with her back legs, clawing out great clumps of his thick gray fur. Flintfang's blood spattered the black she-cat. The ShadowClan tom reared back in agony and was gone.

Gray Wing took time to get his breathing back to normal and looked around for Skystar and Jagged Peak. Where were his brothers?

He felt relieved when he saw Jagged Peak beating down Whitethroat and Skystar was shaking Wetfoot off his back.

"Where's the ShadowClan spy?" A young tabby warrior named Oakfur growled to Shattered Ice.

"There he is!"

"Where?"

Shattered Ice cuffed the back of the brown tabby tom's head so hard he fell face-first to the ground. Shattered Ice started laughing hysterically until he was tackled by Dawncloud, who had appeared from the riot going on in the middle. Ravenpaw was among them along with Yellowfang.

"Shattered Ice really needs to stop acting like we've won until we've actually won," Cinderpaw murmured to Gray Wing.

Soon ShadowClan was already being worn down easily and turned to flee.

Deerfoot at the tail of the invaders whipped around and slashed at Yellowfang, who had nipped his leg as he ran.

The she-cat pinned him and bit his shoulder hard until he screamed. The gray-brown tom scrambled to his paws.

"Yeah, you better run, you pest!" Yellowfang hissed after him. The tom paused once more and stared at her.

"You sound like Brokenstar," he sneered in disgust and ran.

"Yeah, you better run! She's our friend and she's scarier than Brokenstar!" Frost yowled as they retreated.

"Yes!" Ash Blaze cheered from beside Ravenpaw, who was licking his wounds. Cinderpaw was next to her uncle.

"I'm telling you we're awesome," Lightning Tail said.

As the medicine cats rushed around to tend to everyone (Acorn Fur helped, seeming genuinely curious) Skystar dragged himself onto the Flat Boulder.

"Let all cats old enough to hunt gather for a Clan meeting!" He called. The cats slowly trudged over to the boulder already weary from the day's events.

"I think it's time we fully accept two warriors into SkyClan. One of them I should have fully accepted long ago."

Gray Wing gasped and so did others.

"Ravenpaw and Cinderpaw." Skystar looked at the pair of former ThunderClan cats. "You came to us having escaped ThunderClan and now you have proven yourselves worthy to be among SkyClan."

He hopped off the boulder and beckoned the two forward. "Ravenpaw, it was because of you that we got any warning today. Do you promise to uphold the warrior code and protect and defend this Clan even at the cost of your life?"

"I do," the black tom meowed, voice strong even as he trembled. He wasn't the cowardly apprentice he used to be when Falling Feather and Moon Shadow had first stumbled upon his body long ago on their territory.

"Then by the powers of StarClan I give you a new tribe name and status. Ravenpaw, I now name you Raven Hope. StarClan honors your cleverness and courage."

Skystar stepped forward and pressed his muzzle against the black tom's head and the newly named Raven Hope licked his shoulder respectfully in return.

He stepped back next to Fire Heart, who gave him a delighted purr and nuzzle.

Skystar turned to Cinderpaw, who looked excited and almost disbelieving as if she couldn't believe she had achieved her life-long dream at last.

"Cinderpaw, do you promise to uphold the code and protect and defend this Clan even at the cost of your life?"

"I do!" She exclaimed eagerly.

Skystar purred indulgently. "Then by the powers of StarClan I give you the name Cinder Flower. Our ancestors honor your energy and enthusiasm and we welcome you as a full warrior of SkyClan."

For a moment Cinder Flower kept her eyes closed but soon she joined the crowd cheering their names.

Gray Wing smiled as his youngest brother bounded up and said, "ha! I technically trained an apprentice!"

"Hey, me too!" Hawk Swoop laughed.

"Then I trained two!" Fire Heart piped up. Tall Shadow was also looking proud to see the cat she helped train become a warrior.

"I made it," Cinder Flower sighed happily.

"Yes, we did," Raven Hope purred.

"Get a move on so the rest of us can sleep," Shattered Ice meowed good-naturedly.

"Yessir!" Cinder Flower mocked saluted.

Skystar nodded approvingly at the two new members before he flicked his tail to dismiss the meeting and the Clan melted away.

Gray Wing looked back once more. Cinder Flower bounced about a bit more to get rid of some energy while Raven Hope sat straight, green eyes determined.

They'd come so far and he was proud they'd been able to save them. To give them a second chance.

He went to the nursery deciding to sleep with Turtle Tail and the kits. He hoped Petal wouldn't mind him crowding the den more.

If only he knew it'd be the last time he slept peacefully with his whole family by his side.

Sorry, I didn't post yesterday. It was a busy Wednesday for me.

Thanks to morsemadison532 for the suggestion of Raven's tribe name and I gave Cinder a different suffix because SkyClan uses more unique names unless they're literally named for one of their features.
