A/N: Anyone who wants to do a story where the characters read 'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes' series is allowed to do so as long as they tell me before hand.

I don't own Percy Jackson series or Naruto series, or any of the characters of either series. Nor am I the writer of the Son of the Huntress series

Warning: Read these stories if you haven't before reading this story:

'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Lightning Thief'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Sea of Monsters'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Titan's Curse'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Battle of the Labyrinth'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Last Olympian'
'The Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Staff of Hermes'
'The Legacy of the Heroes of Olympus: The Lost Hero'
'The Legacy of the Heroes of Olympus: The Quest for Buford'

I'm going to make this clear to those who don't approve the idea of legacies in Camp Half-Blood.

One: If you actually looked into Greek Mythology you know there been plenty of Greek Legacies. Heck Frank's ancestors were Greek legacies before they joined the Romans.

Two: Time and time again in the Percy Jackson series they mention many famous names Rick Riordan used as demigods Greek Demigods reaching adulthood-George Washington, Amelia Earhart, F.D.R., General Sherman and many more-many of which had children of their own which would make their kids legacies.

Three: About Naruto not being wise enough to be a Legacy of Athena, keep in mind in future reference for any sequel fanfictions of Percy Jackson that when Percy and Annabeth have kids, if they have any of Percy's personality they might not have much interest in school and thus not show much of any of Athena's wisdom. So I should have a pass on the matter with Naruto because of that fact.

Four: Since I made Naruto a legacy of Athena through Minato, he can't have any connections with the Romans as for any god/goddess, Olympian or Minor to have a legacy they must have children who later grow up to have children of their own. Minerva doesn't have kids, and it been clear before the return of Athena's Parthenos the idea of the matter was saw as a disgrace to the Romans as it meant Minerva broke her vow in their eyes. Not to mention the fact that the feud between Greek and Romans was kept alive for so long because of Athena.

Also for anyone who thinks it be okay having a child/Legacy of Artemis or Hestia to meet the romans, although Diana or Vesta wasn't treated any worse from their Greek counterparts as the comparison of Athena and Minerva, keep in mind they also made a vow to not have any kids, and since Romans take their vows so seriously they have their own god whose domain is over vows I think they would frown upon the idea of Diana and Vesta breaking their vows. Although I did enjoy The Son of the Huntress series, even though Naruto saved Reyna and Hylla the fact any more Romans would accept the idea there being a child and grandchild of two virgin goddesses feels a bit far fetch.

Heads up, Sheffinator has posted the reading of fanfiction for The Legacy series called 'Reading of the Legacy of Athena and Hermes'. I have gave them permission and the first chapter is posted.

I started it 'Reading of the Legacy of Athena and Hermes: The Lightning Thief as part of my youtube channel of me reading fanfictions and actual books. I can't send the link because of course fanfiction site won't let me, but just look it up under my name Ashleigh Stratmann.

Yugito Meets Some Grain Spirits

Whatever grabbed Hazel was fast, but not too fast for Yugito. Yugito's chased after Hazel. She grew her fingernails into claws and used it to shred apart her bindings, freeing Hazel.

"Thanks," Hazel said.

"Don't thank me yet. We're still surrounded." Yugito said as the grass was moving around them. What worse was that they somehow loss track of Percy and Frank.

Hazel closed her eyes as if focusing, but Yugito wasn't sure what she was doing. Suddenly the ground rumbled and they were thrown upward. Yugito regain her footing and found herself on a rock the size of garage jutted from the sea of grass.

"What the..." Yugito said.

"I summoned it to get us above the grass," Hazel explained.

Yugito could see what Hazel meant. The grass rippled around the rock. Angry voices hissed in dismay at the massive clump of stone that had broken their progress. So instead it swayed and rustled around them like the tentacles of a giant undersea anemone.

"They can't grow on this!" Yugito noted.

"Schist," said an angry voice from the grass.

"Excuse me?" Hazel asked.

"Schist! Big pile of schist!"

Yugito and Hazel looked at each other confused. Obviously neither of them heard of schist before. Then, all around them, the kidnappers materialized from the grass. At first glance they look like chubby little Cupid babies. As they stepped closer, however, the kidnappers looked less angelic.

They were the size of toddlers, with rolls of baby fat, but their skin had a strange greenish hue, as if chlorophyll ran through their veins. They had dry, brittle wings like corn-husks, and tufts of white hair like corn silk. Their faces were haggard, pitted with kernels of grains. Their eyes were solid green, and their teeth were canine fangs.

The largest creature stepped forward. He wore a yellow loincloth, and his hair was spiky, like the bristles on a stalk of wheat. He hissed at the girls and waddled back and forth so quickly, his loincloth looked like it might fall off.

"Hate this schist!" the creature complained. "Wheat cannot grow!"

"Sorghum cannot grow!" another piped up.

"Barley!" yelled a third. "Barley cannot grow. Cursed this schist!"

"ou mean the rock?" Yugito asked "This rock is called schist?"

"Yes, greenstone! Schist!" the first creature yelled. "Nasty rock."

Hazel then understood. "It's a precious stone. It's valuable?"

"Bah!" said the one in yellow loincloth. "Foolish native people made jewelry from it, yes. Valuable? Maybe. Not as good as wheat."

"Or Soghum!"

"Or barley!"

The others chimed it, calling out different type of grain. They circled the rocok, making no effort to climb it-at least not yet.

"What are you?" Yugito asked

The yellow diapered Cupid snarled. "We are the karpoi, spirits of the grain. Children of the Earth Mother! We have been her attendants since forever. Before nasty humans cultivate us, we were wild. We will be again. Wheat will destroy all!"

"No, sorghum will rule!"

"Barley shall dominate!"

The other joined in, each karpos cheering for their own victory.

"But if you are grain spirits, shouldn't you be on the gods' side?" Hazel asked. "Isn't the goddess of agriculture Ceres-"

"Evil name!" Barley wailed.

"Cultivates us!" Sorghum spat. "Makes us grow in disgusting rows. Lets humans harvest us. Pah! When Gaea is mistress of the world again, we will grow wild, yes! But first we must bring the daughter of Pluto to the giant Polybotes! You can't stop us! We can't be killed!"

"Because Alcyoneus has captured Death in Alaska," Hazel said.

"That's right, and we won't tell you were to find his base!" Wheat said.

"I already know where it is," Hazel said with false confidence. "He's on the island in Resurrection Bay."

"Ha!" Wheat sneered. "That place sank beneath the waves long ago. You should know that! Gaea hates you for it. WHen you thwarted her plans, she was forced to sleep again. Decades and decades! Alcyoneus-not until the dark times was he able to rise."

"The nineteen-eighties," Barley agreed. "Horrible! Horrible!"

"Yes," Wheat said. "And our mistress still sleeps. Alcyoneus was forced to bide his time in the north, waiting, planning. Even when the Nine-Tails was brought to this world, he waited. Only now does Gaea begin to stir."

"Nine-Tails!" Yugito said. "You mean another jinchuriki is in this world?"

Wheat hissed. "It won't matter. We will destroy you! Give up!"

"We'll see about that!" Yugito said as she made a series of hand signs and jumped in the air and spin. She then blew blue flaming hair balls that turned into rats. They hit the Karpoi and the grains. The Karpoi dispersed. Many tried to run but the flaming rodents chased them burning the grass by time it was over the field was covered in burnt grain and grass.

"Alcyoneus isn't there," Hazel said in shock. "I thought... I hoped he would still be there..."

"Hey, it's okay." Yugito said. "We'll find Alcyoneus."

"Hazel! Yugito!" they heard Frank and Percy shouting.

"Looks like the boys found us," Yugito said.

"Yeah," Hazel agreed.
