A thug was trying to run away from something. His heavy footfalls filled the alleyway, the night was young, with the shattered moonlight filling the sky. Stopping at a dead end, he panickily tried clawing his way up. Only to hear a whistle come from behind him, he froze as he slowly turned around. There, he saw her, that amber eyed demon!

"I thought you wanted to give me something memorable," she cooed whilst paper flowed down off her clothing. "I guess that all a matter of perspective."

"Get away from me, you crazy bitch!" The man screamed, his green eyes widened with fear as the paper comes closer to him, "what do you want from me?!"

She places a finger to her lips, "I already told you, I wanted information on a boy that was living with one Maria Calavera in your hotel."

"I don't give out clients personal details, that's against the law!"

Konan chuckles at the man's choice of words, "then I guess you get to die for upholding the laws."

"No, wait, c'mon! I can't help it, okay, listen to me! Hey, please, wait! What did I ever do to deserve this man," he screamed in a panic as the paper began to travel up his legs. "I don't know where they went, but all I know is that they went to the Government Center!"

The bluenette hums at the information, "The Government Center. Now, why would they do that?"

"I don't know!"

She snaps her fingers as the paper suddenly climbed up. The man's screams was muffled as they went over his brown hair. He struggled, screaming, and kicking fruitlessly. Konan heard his panic increase as she raises her right hand up. It reaches a fever pitch, with him begging while muffled, but it didn't matter. A squeeze of her right hand made all of the paper suddenly harden, turning into spikes! Blood stained the spiked papers as they poke through across the man. Turning them scarlet red, Konan smirks before suddenly snapping her fingers.

The papers all rustled, igniting at once, quickly burning the man's body to ash. That owner of the of the hotel was initially very forthcoming, after all the promise of a good time got many men to talk. Konan wasn't a whore though, it was all a means to weave the web. Like a good little fly, he buzzed his way right into the webs.

Walking out of the alleyway, taking stock. It had been several nights since Higanbana. Madara and her no longer worked together on this, her intentions didn't match his. There was no point to going back to their world, nothing mattered. So consumed with the thought of vengeance, she grabbed the necklace around her neck.

"I'm going to find you, and I'm going to poke your eyes out like you did Nagato." She growled mentally before walking out into the street, "I was going to honor you in death, make orange roses for your grave and give you this back…now I'm going to poke your eyes out with it."

She took a deep breath before blending in with the crowd. Long having removed her piercings, with some scarring. The kunoichi blended so well into the crowd, and with the freaks of the crowd even more. These creatures, faunus, she came to learn. Humanlike beasts with animal traits, not even solely with those of mammalian nature, some even having insect antenna.

Making her way toward the street, using a stolen scroll, she punched in the location of The Government Center. She quickly got her answer, my gods, was security seriously so low around this pathetic world? Technology here was leagues above her world, but at the end of the day they were significantly softer when it came to security.

Was this what peace looked like in a world without a single war for eighty years? Save for the fact the these so called White Fang terrorists often caused a ruckus. If these people existed in her world they would be confused for spirits, like those of a kappa or kitsune. Naruto Uzumaki should feel right at home here, which bothered her even more. How pathetic, her fists clenched at the thought of that boy. She thought he had came to understand the message, that all of his friends would be spared in trade for his life!

It was a good deal, it was the best deal, a deal that Nagato himself didn't want to make. He hated Konoha shinobi, but when she made that deal, her thought process was that it would make the sealing ritual easier. Instead, all of it invited disaster. Perhaps he intended to die, and the Nine Tails gave him a way out of death, too bad for him.

Although the unsealing of a Tailed Beast from their Jinchuuriki is often extremely painful, it would pale in comparison to what she had planned out. She knew he healed rapidly, cutting his tendons would be a temporary issue for him. Even surviving a direct stab from a Chidori to the chest, though she doubted that it got his heart in any meaningful way. Meaning that his lungs were fair game.

All of these venomous thoughts swirl in her mind, hearing the scroll in her pocket chime. She realized that she ended up at The Government Center. The woman looks up, noting the large building was still open for business. She smirked whilst walking up the steps. Perhaps something was guiding her here, this late at night, a drive for revenge surely so.

Making sure she was out of sight from anyone after walking into an alleyway, Konan weaved a one-handed seal. Her appearance changes to relate more closely to Naruto Uzumaki. Blonde hair, with whisker marks on her cheek, and cerulean eyes. She walks back out, marching right back up to the building.

Entering the building, she saw clerks working behind a desks. This looked like any other Kage office, save that the amount of clerks and staff on call was astronomically higher. Quickly moving towards a freed up desk, she put on her best desperate face.

"Excuse me," she beckoned with a meek voice toward a desk clerk. "Can you help me, please."

The man behind the desk, a young man, with fox ears turned to her. She grimaces in her mind before taking a seat. He booted up his computer, holding his hands in front of him interlocked. He took a deep before giving her a smile, "can I help you miss?"

"Yes, my son, he was taken from our village in the outskirts. We were attacked by Grimm, and in the fighting, we got separated…" She faked a snivel, and looked him in the eyes as crocodile tears came down, "The Grimm took everything…even my husband."

"I'm sorry to hear that, hey, listen what's going on? Are you wanting to file a report for Hunters and Huntresses to go after the Grimm?" He inquired until she pulled a photo of a boy with blonde hair and blue eyes out. "This is him, my baby boy, Naruto."

The man hums at the name, "weird name miss…"

"Kushina," Konan lied whilst attempting to keep his questions to a minimum, "we named him after a whirlpool."

"Ahh, I see…well what's his last name?" The man inquired while booting up the computer's search engine, "or is he traveling with a relative?"

"He's traveling with a relative, I believe his grandmother got him out. Her name is Maria Calavera." Konan answered the man before moving some of her fake yellow hair, "Please sir…he's all I have left."

Moving his own blonde hair out of the way, he sighs, "Alright give me a minute."

"Thank you, you are surely a good soul!"

He began typing rapidly, obviously having done this sort of search before. Watching as his fingers worked the keyboard, she noted that he wasn't typing in Uzumaki as the last name. Instead, he was searching up that woman, Maria Calavera. He hums as her image pops up on the computer, an older woman with goggles over her eyes. She was short, shorter than Konan, but what displayed was that she was a former Huntress…this world's equivalent to a shinobi.

"Is that the grandmother?" He inquired whilst looking toward the computer, noting that she had one relative listed.

"Yes, oh thank Gods she got out too. I always knew my husband's mother was reliable," Konan faked happiness at the news, she had hoped he died at some point. "Where are they at now, would you know?"

"Unfortunately, mam, I've already told you what I can. You see, even though there was a Grimm attack, I still have to see some identification for any information on their whereabouts." The man told whilst watching her expression change from that of a hopeful mother, to one of agony, "Miss…it's just my job, I'm sorry."

"No, no, yo-you're fine. I understand completely, I can find my own way from here sir." She said solemnly before getting up from a chair, "thank you…"

The man bit his lip before sighing, "I shouldn't do this…but she bought four tickets to Vale, via the airship transportation method."

Konan's eyes fill with happiness at the information, "Oh, thank you, you're such a sweetheart!"

She quickly exited the building, smirking maliciously as she did, "Vale."

"That's the Kingdom Of Vale, I heard about it from some of the bandits that Madara and I interrogated a week back. The kingdom across the ocean, hmm, he had a month's head start on us. Did he know we were alive, no, he didn't." She started to formulate her plan before walking down the stairs and back into an alleyway.

She looks at her stolen scroll, making it bring the nearest airfield. Smiling, she came up with a plan. Since she didn't have travel documents, and didn't exactly have the money, she'd sneak aboard the next vessel. Releasing her transformation, the bluenette laughed under her breath whilst looking at his picture.

Only thing she would need to do was go to Vale, and then her prey would be much closer!

Fū was sitting atop of a tree as the waves crash against the shore of the island, she had been on for the last couple of days. She got a reply back with her pulse, but in doing so, Chomei had freaked out about something, demanding she depower immediately and lay low.

Over the course of those days, she spent her time eating apples. Watching as the various animals of the small island interacted. Her little slice of paradise was fleeting. A second pulse in response followed that afternoon, and once again, it wasn't the Tailed Beasts. It was something much darker, primeval, and primal.

Chomei went into a panic, thinking they had been locked onto. The only way to ensure that it passed them was to do several extreme measures. She went around the island marking it with sigils that Chomei taught her, ways of blocking out chakra detection. Once she was done, he even went about denied her the ability that she grew accustomed to, flight.

He even severed the mental connection almost immediately afterwards, which disturbed her even more. It left her unable to fly, and the greenette was now worried that she had been betrayed. However, this all ended when Chomei finally reestablished the mental link, she heard that beautiful chittering.

"I'm sorry about that, Fū. That pulse which responded to us wasn't something I expected to feel again, it felt like it, the demon we came from. Except, it felt very weak…" Chomei told her before her eyes widened whilst looking at the sun.

She shudders in her mind, "T-that was it…very weak?"

"It was a God amongst no equal until Hagoromo defeated it. Remember, Indra recreated it, perhaps…it didn't exactly get sealed more so moved." The Seven Tailed Beetle figured whilst thinking aloud, "But if it was truly here, this world should be ashes."

"Well, shit, that's comforting to know…" Fū deadpanned whilst sitting atop the tree, taking a deep breath before noting something in the ocean, something large. "What's that?"

"Nothing good, prepare yourself…wait…I can feel its energy within it!"

The shore of the small island flooded inward as a massive beast, towering at least fifty meters in height emerged from the ocean. it humanlike legs, and arms with hands. It's face was that of a purpose whale, it stood with giant razor sharp teeth glistening in the sunlight. It's ribcage was partially exposed, contrasting the moonlight black skin. It's red eyes and marking glowing with power, and then the sea rushed into a small tsunami from its emergence!

It's eyes, glowing red and fiery, focus on the island in front of it. Lured he by a calling, a call to arms from ancient wills, the will of destruction coursing through it's mind! The Leviathan, a massive beast, legendary for killing cities if left unchecked. It was a class of Grimm, known as Titans, Grimm so powerful that even Hunters didn't try to stop it alone…they needed armies.

Spotting her, it reared it's head back, the markings on the white bone above glowing brighter. Fū's instincts blared to life as she took flight off the tree, just a it launches a yellow flame with electricity spiraling around it from it's maw.

Flying upwards, corkscrewing through the air, she looked around. She saw that the beast was looking up at her, the orange eyes of the girl caught sight of the island. It was devastated by the beam attack, trees ignited, and animals dead. This thing killed them, almost all of them! there wasn't even a warning, it just slaughtered them for no reason!

Her orange eyes began to glow a bright green as she felt anger rising in her. How dare this thing, this monster kill them! Her skin began to glow, green energy as a seal began to slowly expand from her back. Growling, she roars out in anger whilst her body glowed green, with six additional wings emerging from her!

"Fū, we'll have an active link for two minutes, you're still not acclimated to this heightened state…go get him!"

She dived downward, a cone of wind forming in front of her as she streaked green across the sky. This form, Tailed Beast Mode, was something she had just learned before being captured by The Masked Man. It felt like every weight of the world was lifted off her shoulders when she activated this state, her power increase was tremendous, was this truly the power of all Jinchuuriki?!

Her flying kick sent the thing stumbling backwards, shattering the face plate. Without much hesitation, dealing with the momentum pushing forwards, she used her seven wings flap away as it recovered and tried to gobble her up into it's maw!

Flying upward, she began to blow golden dust out of her mouth, weaving hand seals. With a resounding bit of energy, she formed the dust into seven balls behind her. They become solid as she flew about, dodging the next launch of it's beam attack! Her glowing green eyes saw things in a much slower motion now, and she smirked whilst flying upward in a verdant energy!

Appearing above it, she called out her attack, "Tailed Beast Art: Seven Solar Dust Bombs!"

She launched all of the balls at once, which impacted the beast before glowing brightly. Flying down, she got a kunai out before striking the plates off the beast, causing sparks to fall into each of the glowing balls of energy. Flying out of the way, they erupted into alternative explosions! The beast being pushed in whatever direction each explosion forced it to go! Falling backwards as the last two exploded from it's front, Fū smirked proudly as it crashed into the ocean. Waves washing over the land, extinguishing flames as the spray of water cascaded upward.

Landing back down, her form flickered before noting that her time limit was nearing. Grumbling under her breath, her eyes widened when it slowly got back up. It's armor plating broken, deep gashes running across it, but none of them fatal! She growled before getting down in a cross-legged sitting position before clapping her hands together.

Reaching down into her very soul, she draws forth more powerful to balance of her form. Unfortunately, that's when it breaks, and everything on her turned back to normal! She sat there for a minute before feeling a cold sweat come over her. Getting up quickly, she flies upward with just two wings now, much slower than before.

"Crap-crap-crap!" She screamed as it launched another wave of energy at her from its maw, barely dodging, "Oh shit-shit-shit-shit!"

"Fū, what happened, we still had thirty seconds?!"
"I don't know I just tried to rebalance it out, so I could make it last a little longer!"
"You accidentally deactivated our link, you're pushing too much when it comes to this."
"Bit of a bad time to give a lecture, Chomei!"

She flipped backwards over another beam, her eyes locked onto the thing. Noting that it took a minute before each launch of the beam. She formulated a plan, and took a deep breath. No wonder why she lost to The Masked Man, she ran head fist into the fight, and because of it he outplayed her. This thing wouldn't, it was just a monster, a monster with some sort of dark energy!

It wasn't like the other Grimm, because this thing had some sort of driven will behind it!

The Leviathan glowered at its prey, roaring before walking up on the land. She angled herself before diving straight down. Her eyes focusing on it's maw, weaving hand seals before clumps of yellow powder into her hand. She made it stick to her with chakra before taking a deep breath as her head began to count down the seconds.

"Thirty seconds!"

She yaws to the left before tumbling down by releasing her wings to avoid a massive claw strike. Running along it's arm when she made contact, she felt her white coat flutter open from the speed. Huffing and puffing, her feet began to pick up speed! The yellow powder in her hands glowing whilst she fed chakra into it!

"Twenty seconds!"

She jumped off it's arm as it bright it's opposite hand crashing down, flipping over to where he back was facing the ground, her wings came back. Flying straight away from it's limbs, she then shot upward. Corkscrewing whilst keeping her eyes locked onto the beast at all times! Yelling out, she screamed in excitement and anticipation whilst flying right toward it's open maw!

"Five!"

She came up to the side of it's maw, watching as it's markings began to glow!

"Four!"

Fū dived right into the side of it's mouth, landing on the beast's black tongue before depositing the glowing powder spheres.

"Three!"

Springing upward, she dives out of the maw as it closes. Her wings getting cut, ripping off her jacket.

"Fū!"
"Two!"

She tumbled downward before reactivating her chakra wings, and flipping backwards before flying away!

"One!"

The beast gave chase, unknowingly swallowing the powdery spheres. It locked onto her, readying it's beam. As the energy travels up its throat, it impacted the two powder spheres. Slowly, but surely, they detonated simultaneously! The throat of the monster expanded before it suddenly ripped open with pieces of the beam traveling out of the holes!

Fū lands on the ground, watching as the head of the titan Grimm fell off. Crashing downward, it began to disintegrate. Breathing hard, she grabs her head before giving out a scream. All of the emotions of fear she pushed back earlier came flooding back!

"We almost died, Chomei, holy crap!" She cried out mentally before screaming again from the near death experience, "Gah why does this keep happening, we're supposed to be lucky number seven!"

The chittering of her partner just made her wail even more, "To be fair, I would've probably regenerated."

"Oh geez, thanks for the vote of being glad!" Fū wailed mentally before composing herself with a deep breath, and was about to move she felt something hold her down.

Her body felt like she had a million tons on it. Eyes becoming droopy, she yawned, but she had just got done napping before that big bastard showed up! So, what was giving her such a hard time, well when she looked down…the answer became clear. She was losing blood, one of the teeth of the beast apparently nicking her on the way out.

It dripped down, slowly, but surely. Sighing, she sat down on the ground. Letting Chomei start the healing process, watching as the clouds rolled in the sky. She held her hands to her side, her mind settling on the fact that if she faced The Masked Man again it would've ended the same way. There was nothing she could do to touch him, that phasing technique trumping anything she could do to him!

"Fū, your wound is healing slower than normal. Apparently these Grimm do heavy damage against chakra, this is the first time we've been injured by them. I wonder how the other vessel is fairing in this world." Chomei wondered whilst explaining why the healing process was taking longer, "We're currently going to leave the island tomorrow. We continue into Vale."

"Right, I understand, Chomei. I hope we can find them soon, I'm tired of being the only Jinchuuriki out here…I feel very vulnerable." Fū mentally admitted before blushing, holding her knees up to her chest.

"Don't worry, I have your back, my friend."

Fū smiles whilst looking off into the ocean, closing her eyes to rest whilst Chomei consumed the charka needed to heal her wounds.

"Pyrrha Nikos.

This is Naruto Calavera, the kid you met on the ship. I read you other texts saying there was a mix up, that you're going back to Sanctum. For what's worth, I thank you for teaching me how to dance. I just have some questions about aura, like what's the best method of making it stick around you instead of bleeding off. My grandmother says it's rare for that to happen, that it requires an extreme amount of aura. I thought, who knows, maybe you would know something.

-Thank you in advance."

Naruto sent the message on Maria's scroll before tossing it over to her. The old woman caught just as they got over a hilltop. "Texting the girl from earlier again, eh? I saw her message earlier, makes me really concerned that they fumbled paperwork from her." Maria admitted before looking forward on the snow-covered trail.

Lapis yawns while looking at Naruto, "So, all this time you've been with us you held secrets like that."

"I'm not mad, I'm still trying to wrap my head around the fact that you're not a normal person. Still, I wonder how Saph would react to the news. Losing control, because we got hurt, because I was about to bite it? I don't know if I should find it worrying or heartwarming someone would risk exposing themselves like that for our sake…and Granny Maria trusts him…" He thought over everything that happened yesterday, and then he smiled, "Maybe I should lump my bet on him as well."

Sapphire was cheerful holding her hands out whilst trotting along next to Maria, singing a tune from her headphones. An electronica pop song, something that loved listening to, "I burn like a yellow flame~" she sang out whilst mirthfully stepping to the beat. "I'm armed and ready~"

Lapis and Naruto both look at her, if there was anyone in this group who was the heart, it's Sapphire. Her smile was infectious, her childlike laugh inspired some joy even in the darkest moments. Maria herself seemed more chipper when Sapphire was in a good mood, but they also noted that when she was down…the rest were down too.

"I think for her sake, my little sister, that Naruto is to be trusted. If he didn't care about us, then he would've just let the thing to make yesterday. My arms are still hurting, but him, it's like nothing even happened." Lapis frowns at that thought before looking right at Naruto, "how much does it take to make you break, Naruto?"

Coming up the road, Naruto looked off to the right. Noting a long tree on a nearby hilltop. A grave set under that tree. For some reason, unlike the other trees, the one above the grave maintained its leaves. He took notice at the fact the vase of flowers was knocked over. Trudging forwards a little faster than the others, Maria took note at where Naruto was heading.

"Yo, Naruto, where are you going? Don't be speeding off like that again, Sapphire where's he going?" Maria questioned whilst they were continued walking on the path.

Sapphire held a hand above her head, "um, it looks like he's heading a toward a grave!"

"Grave," Maria repeated whilst looking at the little girl, "why?"

Lapis watches as Naruto made it over to the grave, reaching down to fix the vase of flowers. They were dumped out everywhere, probably from some critters trying to get at anything to eat. Picking up each rose one by one, and placing them in the vase. The blonde stood there, clapping his hands together before bowing three times.

"That's the first time I've seen him do something religious…" The bluenette teen observed whilst, watching as the blonde started his way back.

He was signing towards them, "I don't like graves which are in disrepair, just thought I'd do something nice!"

"Ooh," Lapis breathed before noticing something, someone was standing on the porch near the house. When Naruto rejoined them, they began to walk away, no words being said.

He did tap Naruto's shoulder though, nudging the his head to point at the person watching them. it was a girl, probably no older than the blonde. Naruto stared back at her as he walked backwards, smiling a little before raising his hand up and waving her off before turning around to focus back forward.

She didn't say anything, nor call out to any of them, but her mop of black and red hair flowed in the wind. Her silver eyes saw the blonde walking away from where her mother's grave was. In her hands was the folded up form of her weapon, intent to confront him if he was trying to sabotage her grave.

Instead, she was more confused that a total stranger that she had never seen before stopped and fixed her mother's grave. She had just gotten ready to do so, but when the next cough racks up against her, she notes it was probably for the best.

She had stayed home from school today, sick, and wore heavy clothing because of the cold. Her eyes never left him, catching his looks. A blonde haired kid, maybe no older than her, with cerulean eyes. Coughing into her free hand, she walked back into the house, closing the front door. Her house had hard wood flooring, but with a welcome matt that she used to take her shoes off at.

Her silver eyes came to the cup of hot coco on coffee table and coaster. Walking over to it, she reaches down sips it. Clearing out her throat of phlegm, which she coughed after it broke up from the hot liquid. Setting the cup down, she flops down on the couch, groaning whilst coughing into her hand.

"I hate having this stupid cold!" She whined whilst turning over to face up, looking toward pictures of her mother.

She sighs whilst giving her a small smile, "I miss you, wish you were here to make me homemade chicken noodle soup…like you always did when we got sick."

Heavy music suddenly filled the air, her scroll vibrating on the coffee table. She groans whilst reaching over to it as the artist behind the ringtone screamed out, "HANK!" and pulled it open. Appearing the screen was a blonde-haired girl with lilac eyes, who was wearing a yellow winter coat with her crest on her chest.

"Hey miss hooky~" She teases the girl whilst waving at her over the call, "just got done with morning classes, sup buttercup!"

"Oh, you know, hacking up my fifth lung of the day…" She said flatly before rolling her eyes, "hot coco isn't doing anything for me, can't even taste it."

"Yeesh, you might have the virus, Ruby. Just relax, I'll be bringing your missed schoolwork with me back home!" The blonde stated before smiling brightly, "you go fix mom's grave?"

"No…I was going to, but there was a group of strangers going up the road. Kids just like us, minus an old woman." The silver-eyed girl, Ruby, told her sister before groaning into a pillow. "I want cookies, Yang~"

"That's a bad idea, Ruby, you might just throw them up." Yang pointed out before smiling, "I can stop by Mallari's on the way back!"

"Please do sis…I'm dying here," she begged her older sister before laying her head into a pillow. "Oh, yeah, one of them came up to mom's grave…"

She didn't get to finish when Yang's eyes turned from lilac to red, "and pray tell what the hell did they do?"

"Whoa, easy there, one of them came up to mom's grave and fixed her roses…" Ruby then blushes a little bit, remembering his face, "he looked like a faunus."

"He, huh, is that a blush I see?"

Ruby nearly coughed again from that statement, hiding the face of Yang. She turned away petulantly, "No," was all she said before raising her sister back up after the blush went away.

Yang went from angry, to having a grin across her face, "so…we gonna talk about boys~"

"I'm going to hang up now," Ruby warned her before reaching for the disconnect button. "I'm not blushing by the way, this cold is making me flustered."

"Mmhmm, sure Ruby. Hey, gotta go and head back to class. Love ya sis, and don't be inviting anymore boys over~" Yang teases before seeing her little baby sister blush madly!

"I didn't invite any boys over Yang, you pervert!" She childishly screamed whilst trying to hide her blush in her pillow, coughing all the while.

Satisfied with her torture, Yang hangs up the call. Raising her head up, Ruby's left eyebrow twitched before glowering at the scroll. Sighing, she swiped up to a music app on it. Most girls her age would be blasting some hearty, boy band heartthrob songs, but when she brought her favorite band up. She smiles, taking a moment she scrolls down the list.

"Little V…no…Longestsolo…ooh new song!" Ruby pressed her finger onto Longestsolo before relaxing back on the couch, and hearing as the metal music filled the living room. "Aww, yeah, that's the stuff…"

"I don't wanna die, I'm just a little guy, get sacrificed ba da bah bah ba~"

She looks at Crescent Rose, her weapon before placing it closer to the couch as she laid her head back. Slowly, her silver-eyes began to close, allowing her to drift off to sleep with heavy metal music playing in the background.

"My little slice of paradise, too bad I got to do that virus test tomorrow. Probably going to poke my brain out, yeesh."

Broken Moon!
"A heart that loves is always young"
Greek Proverb

Mallari was sitting in her rocking chair, her pink hair scarf tied under her chin. She was rocking back and forth, looking over the horizon. She suddenly saw three kids pop up over a heel, with one carrying Maria on his shoulders. It was the blonde she was hearing about, his legs trudging through the deep snow.

"Yo, Maria, long time no see you old hag!" Mallari called out from her chair, cupping her hands to extend the reach of her voice.

Maria in turn lifted up Death in it's cane form, shouting at her, "Shut it brat!"

"You must be tall, to be intimating!" Mallari teased while bringing her up to chest level, laughing as she got the old woman flustered.

Lapis was chuckling a little, along with his sister. They had been made aware that Mallari and Maria had gone way back. Naruto himself was slightly chuckling, or what counted as chuckling. He slowly let the old woman down so she could walk up to the younger elder. Mallari got up from her seat, watching as Maria climbed up the stairs, she looked at the children behind her.

Mallari chuckles while crossing her arms, "are you slowly forming a new team or something? Youngsters like them, sheesh, Maria we've fell off."

"I ran in Renard," Maria said whilst crossing her arms, "He said if I cross paths with you again to tell you hi."

"Well, bout time he says something back. Been a few years, old man Renard, wasn't he originally part of your rag tag group before recruiting me back in the day?" Mallari inquired whilst crossing the distance to stand in front of Maria, "Grimm Reaper."

"Ahh I miss that name, but sadly my time came to an end a long time ago. Mallari, as you can see I've decided to bring up the next generation." The Grimm Reaper introduced the group behind her, with the trio raising their hands up in greetings.

Lapis went first, smiling brightly, "I'm Lapis, nice to meet you Mrs. Mallari."

"I'm no missus, sorry, much like Maria here we were too busy kicking butt throughout our life." She corrected Lapis before looking at the girl behind him, "and who are you cutie~"

"I'm Sapphire, nice to meet you! Maria and I talked a lot about coming here, I really glad to meet you! Is true that you're herbalist, I love Herbology and Grimmology!" Sapphire excitedly greeted her, blushing as she realized that her mouth kept running a little more than she was supposed to.

Maria chuckles, looking at the little girl, "She's more of the bookworm of the group."

"That's fine, I don't mind a little bookworm. The old herbalist stated before then looking at Naruto, "So, this is the one?"

Naruto smiles fades a little bit, nodding his head before signing, "If you take us in I'll bust my butt everyday working around the farm!"

Mallari was confused a little bit, looking toward Maria, "What did he just say?"

"He said if you take us in, he'll bust his hump across the farm." Maria stated with a smile, "So, you'll have three hard workers, plus me to keep you company."

"Well…I do have room. It's not like my other three bedrooms are in use. So, I guess you lot better put them to use. You two boys will bunk together in the bottom floor bedroom, it's a little larger. Maria, you get the guest suit on the second floor, and then there's you my little spitfire…" Mallari smiles brightly, "a young woman needs a room to herself, so congratulations!"

Sapphire smiles brightly, giddy like a schoolgirl, "Oh right, sweet!"

"Go on, go ahead, go exploring!"

Sapphire ran inside the house, with Lapis soon following. Naruto meanwhile stood there, frowning a little at Maria, who noted the look. "Look, Naruto, I didn't break our promise to each other. Mallari is a long-time friend of mine. We've seen the weird Remnant has to offer. Frankly, when it comes to you, you're almost par for the course." Maria explained to Naruto on how Mallari greeted him, making the blonde nod his head.

"You're going to be the next generation of Grimm Reaper, because you want to honor Maria saving you. Well, trust me when I say, she'll get you there…but are you ready for the challenge?" Mallari inquired whilst eyeing the boy, watching him nod his head.

"Go on, show her your aura, and see if there is any exercises we can get started on tonight." His adoptive grandmother ordered him, watching as he closed his eyes.

Mallari's eyes widened when he suddenly orange explode around him, rolling off him like a flame!

"Well, Maria, I can say this much…definitely some sort of Maiden Situation."

Author Note!

Well well well…we've got an interesting little introduction here. Anyway, I just want to let everyone know that I'm going to balancing four stories.

Broken Moon (Primary.)
Cook Is A Ninja (Secondary.)
Those Precious To Me.
Those Who Endure.

If you like any of my content, feel free to send me a PM. I'm also looking for artists too! Anyway, that about wraps it up. I have voting going on my profile to see how I'm doing in the story. Like what are my best features, and stuff like that.

See you around next time, if I don't drown in classwork first.

P.S. The songs I mentioned here belong to Longestsoloever, and specifically are his metal covers of Cult of The Lamb, and Expurgation.
