United At Last

It was now two weeks after their engagement. Everyone was absolutely thrilled about the news, which lead to the wedding being done sooner then expected as not many were able to hold their excitement.

"I knew you could do it Flynn!" Lance took a celebratory drink from his beer

"Thanks for helping," Eugene and at the moment "She absolutely loved the set up,"

Lance laughed "It's the gingham I'm telling ya," then slapping Eugene aggressively on the back "What's next?"

"Tell our families, not that it's gonna really changed anything, we're just getting married sooner than expected, I guess in way we're granting them their wish to see us married before we go"

His best friend looked at him upset "I'm very sorry this is all happening to you, Eugene," Lance then smiled "But I'm glad that we get to celebrate with you once more,"

"It's beautiful," Elsa looked at the mirror looking at the detail of the bridal dress

"I told you, no matter what you pick you'll look amazing," Queen Iduna told Elsa, looking amazed at her daughter

"Would you like to see the vail, your highness?" Asked the handmaiden

"Yes,"

Elsa then looked as the handmaiden brought up the vail, once she put it on and adjusted it she backed up from the mirror and looked at herself.

"Thank you, it's beautiful."

Iduna then dismissed the handmaiden as she wanted to talk to her daughter alone.

"Elsa, I'm very glad we get to spend time together and create memories before you go," she spoke softly "You seem happy, have you noticed you haven't worn your gloves in days now,"

"I am happy Mamma," Elsa smiled, she then turned around to look at her mother "I just wish this could all last forever,"

Iduna hugged Elsa "And it will, someday. I promise."

After eighteen years of waiting, it was finally happening, everyone's favorite royal couple was getting married, two kingdoms were being united at last.

In Elsa's room, she was almost done getting ready for her Big Day. On Flynn's side, the same thing was going on, lots of presents being brought in, and lots of hugs from his mom of course.

"Elsa it's almost time." Her mom said as she looked happy "I can't believe this is happening right now, it felt just like yesterday when you were born."

"Mom don't worry everything will be fine," Elsa said with delight

"Yes, but no time to waste, I'm going to tell the guards to call the carriage that way we can head to the chapel." Queen Gerda said

Elsa looked at her mother leave the room then noticed that Queen Ariana was standing at the doorway.

Ariana smiled warmly at her "You look beautiful, Elsa"

"Thank you"

"My son is very fortunate to have you on his side," she continued "I know that all of this was arranged, but I can tell that the love you both have for each other is genuine,"

"Unfortunately, I never had a daughter due to many complications I had during my pregnancy with Eugene, but you Elsa you gave me the chance to be a mother once again," she then pulls out a book "I wanted to give you this, it's a journal you can use it however you'd like,"

"Thank you, it's beautiful" Elsa smiled and hugged Ariana tightly

At the Chapel

Eugene was already outside, eating for his signal to enter, he was nervous but at the same time, he was excited.

"Okay, Eugene everything is ready." Queen Ariana cute said, "Except one thing," Edmund appeared behind her with something on his hand

It was the sash that he wore on his wedding and coronation. Eugene has only seen it in paintings but now not only has he seen it but now he gets to wear it.

"Here, I want you to wear this, my father gave it to me as a gift, and now it's yours." Emund told him

"We also want to let you know that we're proud of you."

"Thank you," Eugene said back to them

He entered the church and stood there waiting for his future wife to arrive. Elsa was outside and before she entered she made sure she looked perfect. After waiting, Elsa finally entered, she looked stunning, she wore a beautiful white dress, with a beautiful hairstyle, and lots of diamonds. When Eugene saw Elsa, he saw his whole future ahead of him. A happy life with a happy family and a happy ending that no one was ever going to take away from them.

When Elsa got next to Eugene they both smiled at each other. The ceremony took a lot of time until they finally got their rings both of them were made out of silver with their names designed in them with tiny crystals. They put the rings on their fingers as a signal of their eternal love. Until the final saying was finally said.

"I pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."

The words were finally said so Eugene kissed Elsa and Elsa kissed back, everybody was cheering, singing, and celebrating. Two of the most powerful kingdoms and guardians were finally united.

"I now pronounce you husband and wife,"

There's no wedding without a party. Although the party was only for royals and other special guests from the kingdom to keep it small for the sake of protecting their secret, they wouldn't want to let in any intruders who would let anything out.

"Your highnesses, the Duke of Weasel town,"

"Weselton,"

The Duke of Weselton, Eugene, and Elsa did not like him despite their parents' good words about him. He was a conniving, arrogant little man who was after the kingdom's riches. He is also known for being against magic which both Arendelle and Corona are known for so they wouldn't be surprised if he was here to uncover some secret to bring chaos.

Thankfully Weselton wasn't aware that the secret was right in front of him.

"I'm honored to have received an invitation to your ceremony," he spoke

Agnarr then came from the back and patted him on the shoulder "Of course, you've been an amazing trading partner,"

"And will continue being even when the baby birds take over,"

"Come on," Agnarr pointed to Elsa and Eugene "I want you to meet somebody,"

Agnarr lead them to a man, with a different but extravagant outfit compared to some of the other guests immediately identifying that it must be one of the rulers from Southeast Asia who'd agreed and traded a couple of spices with them. He also had a baby girl who seemed around a year old in his arm whose wide eyes were looking at the bright lights of the ballroom.

"I'd like to introduce to you Chief Benja, one of the leaders of the kingdom of Kumandra."

"Congratulations on your marriage," Chief Benja spoke

"Thank you," said Eugene "You must be the leader of Heart am I right?"

"Indeed I am," Laughed Benja

Elsa then notices the baby in his arms

"And who is may this young lady be?"

"This is Raya, my daughter, princess, and heir of Heart," Benja said showing her off, his expression then turning melancholy "She's the reason why I keep going after the loss of my wife,"

They all gave him a sad smile. It made Elsa and Eugene wonder how someone can move on so quickly after the loss of someone.

Chief Benja then asked, "Would you like to carry her?" Without hesitation, he handed them his dearest dewdrop

Elsa immediately reached for her as she couldn't contain her excitement, I mean who wouldn't be excited to hold a child? In the back of her mind, Elsa feared that her cold body temperature would scare Raya but it was the complete opposite, the baby immediately relaxed in her arms and smiled at her. Eugene admired them too and got closer to seeing Raya. Somehow both of them felt some sort of strange connection to her as if this moment was meant to be.

The party was now over it was sunrise but the party ended around an hour ago, Elsa was sitting in her bedroom vanity doing her signature braid so she could go to bed and catch a couple of hours of sleep. She was at peace, something that doesn't usually happen so she was taking in every moment of it

"Elsa, I have to tell you something." Anna said entering the room nervously "I'm so sorry for the reaction I gave you the other day, I just didn't know how to react and-"

"Hey it's okay, I know what you said was coming from a good place" Elsa grabbed her hands to show her reassurance

"You are leaving, are you?"

Elsa nodded sadly, "I will be back someday, I promise."

"You better," Anna laughed the pain away

A knock was then heard at the door, revealing it to be Eugene, that was Anna's cue to leave. Once she left the room he went up to Elsa and embraced her. He then kissed her forehead.

"Married at last," Eugene smiled

Elsa smiled back at him "I still can't believe it," She continued to look at him in the mirror "It all went so fast but slow at the same time, everything was perfect,"

"It feels strange," he said "This day has been everyone's wish, and now what?"

"We love our happily ever after, the way it should be."
