I own nothing
Gerion sat in a pleasure house at the bar with Harry and Daemon the commanders of Golden company in Volantis. Daemon had shoulder-length silvery blonde hair with dark amethyst eyes. His hair was pulled half back. Gerion could feel the tension between Daemon and Harry. They were discussing what to do with their newest contract. Princess Daenerys had called for them it came from a former member. Harry wanted to remain loyal to the former member. There was cold fury in Daemon's eyes as Harry spoke about a dragon being a dragon. What did he know about being a dragon? Gerion gave Harry a look after seeing the murderous look on Daemon's face. A slave girl approached with two letters bowing and handed them to Daemon. Both men looked at Daemon as he read each word. The first was from his sister Daenessa telling him that she was to marry Lord Tyrion Lannister. He smirked at that fact that would make Gerion and him family. It also said that Queen Raenera had called her cousin. Daemon's eyes went wide at that fact. The queen acknowledged them as her family. At the end of the letter, it spoke of the fact that Queen Raenera had called for all High Lords of the Seven Kingdoms to her aid. His other hand went to his sword pommel. He saw both sides of it. Daenerys may never see them as family, but he had a better chance of getting the throne with her. But did he really want the Iron Throne, or did he want to be seen as family to the royal family again? The second letter came from his brother Jaerys. Jaerys' letter told him he had the honor of meeting their cousin Queen Raenera. She reminded him of the stories of Rhaenys and Visenya in one body. It also told him that she called him cousin when he told her who he was. But what shocked Daemon, even more, was the fact that Raenera had her nephew on her side. Who by Jaerys words reminded him of Aegon I. He crushed the letter in his hand. He took a goblet of wine downing it as his mind recalled the madness that Daenerys had done and how Raenera had shown not to be mad. Feared yes, but not mad.
"We will leave at dawn," Harry told. Gerion and Daemon nodded. Gerion watched Daemon fearfully. He could tell something in the letters he just received Harry did not seem to notice this. "We see which Dragon offer us more and we follow where they lead," Harry told drunkenly.
In an instant, Daemon had pierced Harry's neck. The room descended into chaos with screams and cries of horror they just saw. Daemon sat back down his hand covered in blood. Gerion could see the fire lurking in his eyes. Daemon poured himself another goblet of wine like nothing just happened. He raised his eyebrow at Gerion as Harry's body fell on the ground blood pouring around him.
"We will leave at dawn. We will answer Daenerys call, but we are serving Queen Raenera Targaryen. Are we clear?" Daemon told.
"Yes, Captain," Gerion replied. Gerion knew that if he did not answer that way Daemon would kill him too. It was clear that the dragon that was inside Daemon had awoken. Harry may not what dragons were capable of, but Gerion did. "So, Captain what did your letters say," Gerion asked.
"Queen Raenera called her high lords to call their bannermen to fight a war with Daenerys. Daenerys has no money I have no clue how Harry thought he was going to be paid. When my sisters tell me the Iron Bank is backing Queen Raenera. And all of Seven Kingdoms backing her this will be a blood bath. There is only one ending to this and one true dragon," Daemon said.
Gerion looked at Daemon again. He tilted his head thinking it was clear that Queen Raenera was not the only dragon. It was fitting, Gerion thought, that Daemon was on Raenera's side. Just like their namesakes were.
Raenera stood by where the dragons were staying in White Harbor. She watched as the dragons danced above her. As much as she once believed Drogon and Selaera were mated they are separated now. There was clear division. Tyrion walked up behind her.
"My Queen," Tyrion addressed.
"What is it my lord Hand," Rae asked.
"We have replies from the North, Westerland, and Riverlands," Tyrion told her. Raenera looked lost in thought. This was what she was dreading. She looked skyward again. She let out a loud sigh as the snow fell. "Their armies are ready. The Northern army marches here as we speak. The Westerland and Riverlands armies coming as well. It is only a matter of time until the rest of the Lords' answer. What made you call them?" Tyrion asked needing to know what drove Rae to this point.
"Lord Varys tells me she said aloud she should be queen instead of me. He says he heard it from multiple sources, and I believe it," Rae told him. Rae looked at Tyrion. He had a look of horror across his face. That was outright treason. Why in seven hells was she not arrested yet. "I have seen in her looks at me. I am biding my time My Lord Hand. I'll let her think that I don't know or if she believes I do know think me weak. Once my husband has returned, I will deal with my sister," Rae told him.
"Does Robb know?" Tyrion asked.
"Of course he does. He may not know all my plans. I don't want this war. I don't want to destroy her, but I have no choice," Rae told him.
"Even I don't know all that goes on in your head," Tyrion laughs.
"You know more than most. Just as Robb knows more than most. To win this game you cannot let anyone know all of your plans. I trust you, and I trust him. But if you truly know my plans you would talk me out of them. I know when this is done the power of Iron Throne will be returned to its glory when it was first made," Rae told.
"How," Tyrion said.
"As Queen, I cultivate love and respect, yes, but the power of King or Queen is fear. When I am done no one will dare move against me," Rae said.
"Raenera this isn't you," Tyrion said in horror.
"It is. It is just a side of me I don't really want to show," Rae said sadly.
Tyrion looked at her he saw it then the weight of what she had to do in her eyes. His mind when to what Raenera told him in King Landing about how she would destroy Daenerys like his father did house Reyne. The Golden Company and Second sons had members that Raenera considered family. His eyes went wide when he realized what Raenera truly planned to do. Surely, she was not planning what he was thinking she was planning to do.
Robb walked with Ned with the Hound and Jaime walking behind them in the wild tundra of the true North. The party of wildlings was with them Jon was walking with Ser Jorah. Ser Jorah's mind was still on Raenera's words to him.
"The first time I went north of the wall was with your father," Jon told him.
"He was a good man. He deserved a better son. Were you with him at the end?" Jorah asked looking over to Jon.
"I was a prisoner of the wildlings," Jon told him. Ser Jorah nodded his head. He looked ahead his mind was now on the present venture. Jon looked at him again as they walked on. "But we avenged him. I want you to know that. Every mutineer found justice," Jon told him.
Ser Jorah looked back to Jon. His mind went to his father. His mind was plagued by all the wrongs he had done to his father.
"Can't think of a worse way for him to go. The Night's Watch was his life. He would have died to protect every one of those men. And they butchered him," Ser Jorah told hurt.
"I hated that he died that way. My father is one of the most honorable men I ever met. He is good all the way through," Jon said
Jon looked to Ned who was talking with Jaime and Robb as they walked on. Ser Jorah followed his gaze. He was unsure where this was going.
"Your father wants to execute me you know" Ser Jorah laughed.
"I heard and Robb too" Jon replied.
"They are right of course. It doesn't make me hate them any less" Ser Jorah revealed.
"I glad they didn't cut you," Jon told.
"Me too," Ser Jorah told.
Jon came to a stop. Ser Jorah stopped next to him. Jon knew this was the right thing to do. He started to take off his belt that held Long Claw. Ser Jorah looked unsure.
"Your father gave me this sword. Changed the pommel from a bear to a wolf but it's still Long Claw," Jon said. He handed the sword to Ser Jorah. Ser Jorah did not know what to do. He looked down at the ground. Clearly, Jon had no clue that Daenerys and Raenera were on the brink of civil war and that he was on Daenerys' side. He wanted this sword for years but now as he has it in his hands. It did not feel right. "Lord Commander Mormont thought you'd never come back to Westeros. But you are back, and it's been in your family for centuries. It's not right for me to have it," Jon told him.
Ser Jorah looked at Jon. There was the same look in Jon's eyes that he once saw in Raenera's eyes when she welcomed them with open arms to Westeros. He pulled the sword partially out looking at it.
"He gave it to you," Ser Jorah said.
"I'm not his son," Jon said.
"I brought shame unto my house. I broke my father's heart. I forfeited the right to claim this sword." Ser Jorah told Jon. He handed the sword back to Jon. He could not dishonor this father's memory anymore if it did come to bloodshed by spilling the blood of Starks on it. Although in his heart he was not sure he could see Raenera killed for at the end of the day she was right there was madness in Daenerys. "It's yours may it serve you well and your children after you," Ser Jorah said giving Jon his blessing.
Arya and Gendry were practicing in the courtyard of Eyrie. There was some of the household that watched them. Arya had taken well to the Vale. Rae was right this was not like the north. She was expected to play lady of the house. She could if she wanted to and in time, she could see herself baring Lord Gendry's sons and daughters. But now she was content to have a playful fight with her brothered. Lord Royce came into the courtyard. Suddenly the playful banter between them ended. When Gendry caught Lord Royce's look on his face with letters in his hands.
"Lord Royce, what is it?" Gendry asked.
"Queen Raenera has calls you to King's Landing as swiftly as possible," Lord Royce told.
"What else?" Arya asked catching the look in Lord Royce's eyes.
Lord Royce looked down. Gendry looked at Arya. Lord Royce returned to the pair. Their training sword was forgotten. He let out a loud sigh.
"Lord Royce is anything else," Gendry questioned.
"Queen Raenera has requested you call your bannermen for war with her sister, Princess Daenerys," Lord Royce told them.
Arya and Gendry exchanged looks. Arya looked between Gendry to Lord Royce. She knew that this was the last thing that Rae wanted. For her to do this meant that Daenerys had done something truly treasonous.
"Do it call them," Arya told looking at Gendry.
"My Lord" Lord Royce started.
"You heard her, do it," Gendry told.
The men walked through the wildness in the land beyond the wall. Tormund made his way over to the Hound. The hound tightened the straps of his boots. He was not even looking at Tormund, but he was already annoyed by him.
"You're the one they call the dog," Tormund said.
"Fuck off," The Hound replied.
"They told me you were mean," Tormund told as the Hound walked closer to Robb and Ned. Robb was his charge to keep safe for the Queen. Tormund followed behind him. The Hound tried to not pay him any mind. "Were you born mean? Or do you hate wildlings," Tormund questioned.
"I don't give two shits about wildlings. Gingers I hate," The hound growled looking at Tormund.
"Gingers are beautiful. We are kissed by fire. Like you," Tormund said pointing his finger at the Hound's scars on his face.
"Don't point your fucking finger at me," The Hound growled slapping Tormund's hand away from him.
"Did you trip into the fire when you were a baby?" Tormund asked not giving up.
"I didn't trip. I was pushed" The Hound revealed.
"And ever since you've been mean" Tormund finished.
"Will you fuck off" The Hound growled
"I don't think you're truly mean. You have sad eyes," Tormund said.
"You want to suck my dick is that it," the Hound asked.
"Dick?" Tormund asked confused never hearing that word.
"Cock" The Hound clarified.
"Ah, dick. I like it," Tormund said
"I bet you do," The hound told stocking away.
Prince Doran sat in the Water Garden watching as Trystane and Myrcella walked through the gardens. The raven letters were in his hands. He looked to Aero and then back to the water gardens. Prince Oberyn came into the balcony.
"Brother, what is going on?" Prince Oberyn asked.
"I know you just get back but…" Prince Doran started. He thought about his plans for the Iron Throne. He knew it was unwise to stan with Daenerys even if Prince Oberyn knew it was likely if Daenerys did win, he would marry her. "You will head towards King Landing to join Queen Raenera and her army to fight and win this war for her," Prince ordered.
"What war?" Prince Oberyn asked.
"The war with her sister," Prince Doran told looking from the water garden to his brother.
"Surely, it will be wiser to side with Princess Daenerys we have a better chance for the throne then," Prince Oberyn argued.
"How, Queen Raenera is married to King in the North and can count the Riverlands, the Reach, and Vale as family. The Stormlands owe her a debt for saving Lady Shireen Baratheon. Not to mention the Westerland high lord is her sworn shield, and his brother is her hand. You really think Daenerys can win this," Prince Doran asked.
"She is not a fighter," Prince Oberyn argued.
"No, but she does not be a fighter to win," Prince Doran said giving Prince Oberyn a look
Prince Oberyn sank into a chair. He quickly realized what his brother meant. The queen knew how to play the game and play it well. It was why she ask Prince Doran to be a judge in Margaery's trial. Thinking about it was clear where they had to stand if they wanted to be on the crown's good side.
The men beyond the wall made their way toward a mountain shaped like an arrowhead. Robb looked at the mountain in horror. It meant the dream that Rae saw where true. He looked over to the group.
"That's the mountain Rae saw in her dreams. A mountain shaped like an arrowhead," Robb said.
"Are you sure," Jon asked.
"We are getting close," Robb said.
Willas stood outside the birthing room of Sansa. She had begun her labors a day ago. Her screams echoed through the halls. His mother had his adoptive daughter and niece Delylah. A Tyrell guard came running toward him. Willas looked up when the guard approached him. He handed him the raven letter. Willas let out a deep sigh when he saw the seals. He broke the seal. His eyes scanned the first letter. He nodded his head. When he reached the end of the letter the second letter fell into his hand. He opened the second letter. His eyes went wide at the same moment an ear-piercing scream was heard from the birth room. A look of pure horror on his face. He looked to the guard.
"Send for my bannerman," Willas ordered.
At that moment, the door to the birthing room opened revealing his good sister. She had a huge smile on her face. She quickly took in the look on his face. There was worry in his eyes and pallor to his face.
"Brother, your wife, and son are well," Leonette told him.
"I have a son," Willas said in awe the worry and pallor still on his face.
Willas made his way into the birthing room. Sansa's hair was sweat covered, but she never looked more beautiful to him. She smiled lovingly at the babe in her arms. Willas made his way over to her kissing the top of her head. He looked down at the bundle of blankets in his wife's arm. He could already see small brown curls on top of the baby's head.
"Eddard," Sansa said lovingly.
"I can think of no better name for him," Willas told her.
"What happened," Sansa asked noticing the tone in her husband's voice.
"It seems that Princess Daenerys has made a treasonous action against your good sister she is calling on the vows we all took when the Targaryen first took the Iron Throne," Willas told with a heavy heart.
"A civil war," Sansa said fearfully looking at him and then at the baby in her arms.
Hours later they were closer to the mountain. On the hike, they had become closer. A snowstorm had blown in. Tormund's eyes land on a bear in the distance. He hit Jon on the chest pointing across the storm.
"Look," Tormund said.
"A Bear," Ser Jorah said.
"A big fucker" Ser Sandor said.
"Do bears have blue eyes?" Ser Markas Dayne asked.
Tormund and Jon's eyes went wide along with the eyes of other wildlings. At that moment, the bear started to charge. It was an undead bear. It took down three wildings before Ser Jorah and the rest of them were able to bring it down. The party had some injuries. Robb exchanged looks with the men who had never been beyond the Wall. They all had the same look of horror on their face. All of them in some ways were praying to whichever god they prayed to that Raenera was wrong about the War to come. But now seeing the undead animal there was no doubt in any of their minds.
Daenerys noticed the change in the keep after the men left. Tyrion and Rae talked in hushed tones. It all started two days ago at the feast before the men left when Lord Varys whispered something in Raenera's ear. It was subtle but there was a change in the air. She heads to where the dragons were being held. She found Raenera in the center of her dragons, Jon's dragons, and Snowstorm. She let out a loud sigh. She looked around there were no King Guards around. Raenera turned to catch her sister's eyes.
"Hello, sister" Rae greeted her.
"Hello, I did not think you be out here," Daenerys said
"I came out here to think," Rae told Daenerys. Daeny moved closer to the dragons. Daeny could see there was much on Raenera's mind. She placed her hand on Rae's shoulder. Rae gave her a sad smile. Rae in her heart was still pleading to any gods that could hear her not to make her do what she knew in her gut she would have to do. Tears lingered on Rae's eyelashes. Daenerys thought it all for Raenera's husband is gone. "I am questioning if doing the right thing," Rae revealed.
"You are," Daenerys said thinking that Rae was talking about sending men beyond the wall.
"Aegon told me something," Rae started looking at Daenerys. They met their eyes. Daenerys internally growled that she got to meet their ancestors. What made Raenera so special to be gifted with dreams? What Daenerys did not know was how Rae felt about her dreams. "He told me I will have to make impossible choices where there is no right answer. But at the end of the day, I have to do what is best for Westeros, not myself. I'm questioning every decision I ever made that lead me to this moment. It is a curse to have these dreams," Rae told her.
"Or a blessing. I'm sure you are doing your best," Daenerys told her.
"Ser Markas thinks my dreams come from the gods of Valyria," Rae told her.
"What do you believe?" Daenerys asked raising her eyebrows.
Rae looked at the dragons and then back at Daenerys. Snow was falling all around them. There was an unsure look on Rae's face. But at the same time an honest look in Raenera's eyes.
"I don't know what to believe anymore," Rae revealed as she started to walk away. Daenerys looked at her in shock. Who else could be giving her these dreams? The Gods of Valyria were the gods of their ancestors. It would be a huge blessing for them to give her dreams. "If is them I question why they test me so. For all, I know The Night King is giving them to me. And I am m leading them right into a trap," Rae told her.
"You not" Daenerys reassured but in the back of her mind think Raenera was weak.
"How do you know that?" Rae questioned shaking her head.
"You saw our ancestor," Daenerys argued.
"Yes, for all the good it does," Rae told as she continued to walk away.
"Your dreams are bringing power back to Iron Throne," Daenerys yelled back.
Raenera stopped for a moment taking a deep breath. Daenerys had no clue how true her words were. Rae shook her head the wind blew her dark hair and Daenerys white hair. They both looked at the dragons as they took off. Rae continued to walk away.
"But at what cost," Raenera questioned quietly.
For yes, her plan will bring unquestionable power back to Iron Throne, but she questioned if it would be worth the cost, she would have to pay for it. For all of the madness, she saw in Daenerys part of Raenera still loved her sister.
The group was closer to the arrowhead-shaped mountain. Tormund and Jon heard something that sounded eerily familiar to them. They quickly climbed up the slope to look down by the creak leading to the banks of the lake. They did this since they lost their scout in the undead bear attack. They saw a single white walker with a group of wights following behind him.
"Where he the rest of them?" Jon asked.
"If we wait long enough, we'll find out," Tormund told.
They came down the slope. They quickly came up with a plan. They lit a fire making it look like someone was camping and then hide. The white walker came over to the fire and then looked around. At that moment they attacked. Jon met the White Walker in battle. While the rest of the men fought the wrights for the first time. When Jon swung Long Claw cutting the White Walker in half. All the wights exploded except for one. All the men looked shocked by that fact. They circled the one the wights. When Jon and Tormund noticed a coming storm that was no doubt the Nights King's Army. Jon looked back at the men wrestling the wight to the ground. The hound put a bag over its head. Robb, Ned, and Jaime exchanged looks they now knew every one of Rae's nightmares about the army of dead was very real. She had every right to be fearful. Yes, they believed her, but it was another thing to see it firsthand. Jon grabbed Ser Markas who was lightest on his feet. Robb noticed the look of horror on Jon's face and came over to him.
"Run back to Eastwatch," Jon ordered.
Jon and Robb exchanged looks. Robb nodded his head taking over for Jon. Knowing that a king's guard could not disobey an order from their king. And if Jon was so worried then was really something to fear.
"Get a raven to my wife tell her what's happened" Robb ordered.
"I'm not leaving you," Ser Markas argued knowing the King was in mortal danger.
"You're the fastest. Go Now" Robb barked out the order.
Ser Markas looked at Robb and the rest of the group. He had promised that he would protect King at all costs to the queen. He nodded taking deep breaths and getting ready to take off. Tormund came over to him.
"You are faster without your swords. Give them. Give them" Tormund told him to get loud at each passing word.
Ser Markas handed him the swords before taking off toward East Watch at a running pace. Once he took off, everyone looked at Jon as the storm grew stronger and closer.
"Come on," Jon said taking off toward the island in the middle of the frozen lake.
They ran toward the island. As hundreds of thousands of wights descend upon them. They step on the ice, and it cracked. They stood frozen for a moment until the wights got closer. At that moment they all took off toward the island as the wight seem to surround them. They kept coming. Once all of the men of the world of living were on the island the wights still kept coming even as the ice broke around them. They all exchanged looks, Raenera was right they need all of Westeros to defeat this enemy.
Raenera was in her chambers getting ready for bed. It had been days without a word from Robb or any of them. She was not sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing. Either way, it was a thing. She was brushing her hair. When pound noise sounded at her door.
"Yes," Rae called.
"Lord Manderly and Lord Tyrion, your grace," Ser Howar Bracken addressed.
"Enter," Rae said letting out a deep sigh.
Rae pulled the robe she was wearing closer. She put the brush down and turned toward the door. Lord Manderly and Tyrion enter the room. There was a look of dread on Lord Manderly's face. Tyrion had the same look on his face along with tears in his eyes. Rae knew in that instant something horrible had happened. She sat up straighter steeling her spine.
"Forgive the intrusion, my queen," Lord Manderly spoke his words trembling for he dreaded having to tell his queen that her husband was likely dead.
"Raven just came" Tyrion finished Lord Manderly's words.
Lord Tyrion handed him the letter. Raenera read the words on paper. Her eyes went wide. The horror of what she just read made her start to shake. Her worst fear had come to life.
"What do we do?" Rae asked with a trembling voice.
"Sometimes the best course of action is to do nothing," Tyrion tried.
"You are telling me I should let my husband and my family die," Rae growled.
"Well, no but…" Tyrion tried to explain.
Raenera paid no more attention to him. Her eyes looked at the flames burning in the fireplace. She was entranced by the flames. Tyrion did not seem to notice that face. He thought she was listening to him for her eyes were locked on the flames behind him. Suddenly a man's voice that she did not know echoed in her mind.
"Dreams did not make us Kings. Dragons did," The man's voice echoed.
Raenera knew what she had to do in that instant. She got up and paced away from the men in the room. Her shoulders still trembled as she walked away from him. Tyrion went to follow her.
"My Queen," Tyrion tried to comfort her.
"Leave me," Rae ordered as she turned to look at them with cold fury in her eyes.
"Your Grace," They replied bowing as they left.
Raenera quickly dressed in ridding leather a black heavy fur coat and boots as soon as the door shut. She quickly braided her hair in a rope braid down her back. She looked in the mirror she prayed she was not playing into his plan. She quickly exited the room with determination in her every step. Ser Howar quickly followed behind her. She came to Daenerys door and pounded on it. Daenerys opened the door. She instantly knew something had changed. They communicated with their eyes. Daenerys shut the door to get dressed like Raenera was dressed.
Rae made her way to where the dragons were. She looked skyward calling down the smaller dragons to her. They came to her. She walked toward the stables. Once the four of them were inside she shut the door. She headed back to the dragons. Ser Howar was not sure what was going on as Daenerys made her way into the location the dragon where held. Selaera landed by Drogon. Rae quickly climbed on Selaera's back as Drogon climbed on Drogon's back. As the dragons took off into the sky Ser Howar looked skyward in horror. He took off to alert the Hand of what happened.
The men were standing on the edge of the island. Robb stood near Jon and Ned. Ser Jorah came over to them.
"We all freeze soon," Ned told.
"And so will the water," Robb told knowing what was to come.
"When you killed the White Walker almost all of the dead that followed it, fell why?" Ser Jorah asked.
"Maybe he's the one who turn them," Jon replied.
"We can go for the walkers. Maybe we'll stand a chance," Ser Jorah said.
"No," Jon answered.
"We need to take that thing back with us," Robb continued.
"There is a raven flying for White Harbor," Jon said
"Raenera and Daenerys are our only chance," Ned finished.
Robb noticed a man that looked eerily like the thing that Rae described in her dreams. He walked closer to Jon.
"No kill him, he turned them all," Robb said pointing to Night King.
"You don't understand," Jon tried.
"I do," Robb replied.
Shortly they were surrounded when the wights realized the water was frozen. They were fighting to the last one. They had fallen back to the top of the island that once house a Weirwood tree. Jon had the wights by his feet as he looked at each of the men left. Some of the injured. Jon met the eyes of Ned, Robb, Jaime, and Ser Jorah. They fought with determination. He looked up to the Night King. The wights started to climb up the other side of the island. He tightened his grip on Long Claw preparing to fight. When dragons' roars and fire filled the air. They watched as six dragons decimated all that stood in their way. Rae and Daeny met eyes Daeny landed her dragon near the island and Rae kept Selaera in the air burning all that stood in their way. Her eyes suddenly caught sight of a glint of an ice spear in the hands of Night King. His eyes met her before he throws at Viserion. As the spear pierced Viserion's neck a roar echoed through the rest of the dragons. Daenerys and Raenera watched in horror as Viserion fell. Jon was still fighting them off.
"Jon" Robb called.
"Go! Go now leave," Jon ordered as Jon notice the Night King reaching for another spear.
Dorgon took off into the sky. Daenerys was able to avoid the spear touching him by rolling to left. They all watched in horror as Jon sank into the ice with Long Claw.
At Eastwatch, the five dragons circled overhead. Raenera stood on top of the Wall with tears streaming down her face. The men were getting treatment for their injuries. This was the very thing she was trying to avoid. She prayed this was the choice that Aegon spoke of because she was not sure how much more she could take. It already caught them a dragon and Jon. She hoped it did not cost her more. Daenerys stormed up to Raenera. There was madness and tears streaming down her face. Rae turned and looked at Daeny. She cringed internally. In that instant, it cost her so much more.
"Did you know?" Daenerys asked.
Raenera stayed silent. She looked back beyond the wall. There was no right answer here. Three would rise one would fall echoed in her mind. Seven Hells this was not what she wanted. Daenerys stormed forward grabbing Rae to make her look at her. The madness in her eyes.
"Sister, did you know this would happen?... Did you know?" Daenerys raged.
Aegon's words to Raenera echoed in her mind. She looked down for a moment to prepare herself for the war that was to come. Raenera's eyes finally let her eyes snap back to Daenerys. There was cold fire to match the raging inferno in Daenerys eyes. She knew the next words she uttered would seal their fates.
"Even if I did it would not change anything," Raenera replied.
Hope you like it, more to come shortly. I always figure Daenerys tipping point into complete madness would be the death of one of her "children".
