sheltered. But he stood outside, feeling helpless. His patients were inside but he couldn't do a damn thing to help. Because he was afraid. He'd done so many

things that most people would be terrified to do; he'd dismantled a bomb, for God's sake! What was wrong with him that he couldn't face his fears to take shelter?
