Author Note: Okay, this is a Non-Canon Omake. Consider this the "bad ending" where they tried using Robotechnology but in this case, they were too late for one thing and unknown to Humanity, the Vorlon Ulkesh was afraid the circle was in jeopardy so...just like before when the Vorlons destroyed 1,000 Drazi ships that were going to help Earth, Ulkesh's faction of Vorlons destroyed the Robotech ships that were taking the offensive against the Minbari. So, Humanity was forced to evacuate Earth, taking millions of people to fold away to Pegasus so they could escape from the Minbari.

Oops, Maybe We Made a Mistake?

Pegasus Galaxy

New Earth System

Earth II

The Year is 2260

It has been a little over ten years since the end of the Earth/Minbari War where humanity's last ditch attempt at fighting back failed and they had to evacuate as many people as they could from Earth and escape to another galaxy and let the Minbari think that they wiped out humanity. Humanity is rebuilding and preparing for their eventual return to the Milky Way Galaxy and to retake their ancestral homeworld. But one day, a ship from the Milky Way galaxy jumps into the new homeworld system for humanity. A Vorlon ship.

What do the Vorlon want?

The Vorlon ambassador was quietly and quickly escorted to the conference room. To say that there were tensions would have been a massive understatement. Everyone was tense. The conference room doors opened silently and the Ambassador silently moved into the room, the garments of the encounter suit obscuring the feet, if any that the Vorlon might have leaving many to wonder if the Vorlons floated or walked.

The man sitting at the center of the table gestured to the escorts. "Thank you gentlemen, you may go."

Recognizing the dismissal, the guards saluted and quickly left the room.

The tension seemed to intensify as the human representative glared at the alien ambassador. The silence was deafening as neither spoke for several minutes. Finally, the human representative made a gesture.

"You journeyed a very long way Ambassador to call for this meeting yet you've not even bothered to initiate the discussion. I don't like wasting time as I have a lot of work that needs doing. So, I guess it falls to me." The human man, who appeared to be in his sixties pushed a button. "This is Secretary of State, David Sheridan. It is 1005 hours and I am in conference room seven aboard Space Station Freedom. With me is the Vorlon Ambassador of the Vorlon Empire. Would you please state your name for the record, Ambassador as that information was not given to anyone."

Silence. Then there was a series of musical chime like sounds followed by voice, "Kosh."

The man nodded. "With me is Ambassador Kosh of the Vorlon Empire, from the Milky Way galaxy. Now, Ambassador, you've journeyed a long way. How did you manage to find us, and why are you here?"

Silence for a moment then the same chime like sounds were heard as the Vorlon replied, "Your assistance is needed."

The old diplomat took a breath. He only got one answer out of two questions. Par for the course. Keeping his diplomat face on, he projected neutrality as he asked, "Assistance? Assistance with what? We are not exactly in a position to offer much help.", He paused then added, "Thanks to the Minbari."

The Vorlon was silent before those mysterious sounds were heard once more as Ambassador Kosh replied, "War."

Narrowing his eyes, the Secretary of State composed himself. "I'm afraid you've come on a long trip for nothing. We are not in a position to go to war, especially if you're asking us to go back to our old galaxy." He narrowed his eyes again, fixing a hard glare at the alien. "We don't have many people left to just go to war, it has only been fourteen years since we escaped from the last war."

Ambassador Kosh seemed to radiate a sense of sadness. "Tragedy. It should not have ended that way."

Trying to reign in anger and project calm the old diplomat stated, "Ambassador, I'm afraid that unless you are more clear, this meeting will come to an end." Secretary Sheridan stood up. "I will have you escorted back to your ship now."

Before he could summon the guards, Ambassador Kosh spoke. "Wait. I have someone aboard my ship that would like to address you. The request is on their behalf. Do I have your word that they will be allowed to come here and speak their case and be allowed to leave unharmed?"

Calmly Secretary Sheridan replied as he kept his body language open. "Your ship is a diplomatic vessel and you are the duly authorized ambassador from your people. We will recognize that your passenger shall enjoy the same protection as yourself."

The Vorlon brought out their hand and tapped something on his wrist that Secretary Sheridan couldn't see. "My passenger will disembark now. Please escort them here."

David Sheridan picked up a phone handset and called someone. He quickly relayed instructions and received an acknowledgment. "Your passenger will be brought here shortly Ambassador."

The tension still remained in the room as the two waited for this passenger. Secretary Sheridan was doing his best to project calm but he had a feeling that something was up.

Minutes had passed when the conference room doors opened and the mysterious passenger arrived. A silvery robed figure complete with the hood pulled over and a veil to obscure the individual's face.

The hairs on the back of David's neck were rising. He steeled himself. Looking to the guards, he dismissed them.

Once the guards had left and the doors had closed Ambassador Kosh spoke, "We are alone. You may reveal yourself and speak."

There was hesitation from the mysterious person. Finally they removed the veil and the hood revealing their identity and Secretary Sheridan had to do everything in his power to stop himself from flying across the room and strangling the individual in front of him.

A Minbari was standing in the room. Judging by appearance, it seemed to be a female Minbari.

Glaring at Ambassador Kosh Secretary Sheridan was furious. His face expressing anger and fury at the Vorlon Ambassador. Rising out of his seat Secretary Sheridan was incensed. "What is the meaning of this?! Why would you bring a Minbari here?! Now they know they didn't kill us all! Ambassador Kosh, this is a violation of our trust and I find your action to be outrageous!"

The Minbari stepped forward one step and held up their hands. "I know how you must feel."

David interrupted her, turning to face her he was still furious as he hissed, "Do you!? Do you!? I highly doubt that. You didn't lose more than thirty billion of your entire race." Then he roared at the Minbari, "OVER A STUPID MISTAKE!" Taking a breath, he tried to reign in his fury. "Whatever you have to say, hurry it up."

The Minbari tried to look apologetic but David may have been reading too much into it. All interactions with Minbari had been hostile, this was the first time that one was actually speaking to a human.

"Secretary Sheridan, I realize that there is nothing I can say…"

Coldly he retorted, "You're right, there isn't! Just say what you came here for whoever you are." He sat back down and waited for the Minbari to speak.

Taking a breath herself, the Minbari started again. "I am Delenn and I was brought here by Ambassador Kosh because our need is great. I realize that what has happened between our two peoples is a great tragedy.", Secretary Sheridan looked like he was about to interrupt again but Delenn kept speaking. "War has come once more to the galaxy and many of the races are fighting one another. An ancient enemy of all sentient beings has returned and bringing chaos with their return. If nothing is done, the galaxy could fall into darkness. Your help is needed."

Delenn walked across the room as she talked, "This ancient enemy is called the Shadows. They were defeated in the last great war more than a thousand years ago by a great alliance of the races including our race and the Vorlons but the Shadows have returned. They have quietly built up their forces, and have made alliances with other races such as the Narn and others. The Narn have joined with the Shadows and have begun a war of conquest against the Centauri and they will not hold for much longer. The war has spread to the League of Non Aligned Worlds as now they fight each other over the slightest of grievances. We need your help, your ships, your weapons that you used against us at the end of the war. Ships and weapons that would have turned the war in your favor had you had more of them. The Shadows possess very advanced weapons and ships and while the Vorlons have aided us with technology as well, it is not enough. My people are stretched thin, only now are they coming to realize that the Shadows have returned despite my urgent warnings that this was happening."

With restrained fury Secretary Sheridan said, "Let me get this straight. Your people are in another war, a war in which these Shadows have gathered allies such as the Narn and others to fight against you and you come to us for help? I don't need to go to my government and bring your request to them as I already know the answer. Let me give it to you right now. The answer is No."

Delenn implored, "Please, you must -"

David cut her off. "What must we do? Listen to you? Help you? Forgive you? Madam, we begged for our lives, we pleaded with you, broadcasting in the clear our offer to surrender unconditionally, to spare us, to allow us to exist. Multiple Times! We offered to give you the man responsible for the death of your leader after we had punished him for his action. You never listened to us. You never gave us an answer except to continue in blasting our warships out of the stars, not even allowing escape pods to survive. You bombarded our colonies and worlds into glass, killing our people, soldiers and civilians alike without any care."

Still glaring at Delenn and now at Kosh he continued, "You forced us to break a promise to use ships and weapons we swore we would never use again unless the situation was dire. Well, our possible extermination was dire indeed, and so we did it. We went to our old Robotech ships and weapons and brought them back, unfortunately it was too late. The victories we had won were too small, and too late. We didn't have enough of our ships that could be crewed properly. Had we acted sooner and retrieved those ships and weapons earlier, I highly doubt we would be having this conversation right now."

With cold fury on his face, David Sheridan kept speaking. "But we finally gave you a fight at the end, we gave you a fight the likes of which I am sure you're still rebuilding from. Tell me Delenn, did your people enjoy the parting gift we left behind? We left the man responsible for this war, Mister Michael Jankowski behind as a gift. Did you enjoy it?" Secretary Sheridan had a grin on his face but it wasn't a pleasant look.

With an anger of her own she replied, "Your gift…your trap destroyed just under half of the fleet. Many Minbari died, Minbari that should be alive."

David Sheridan stood up out of his chair again and roared, "MY PEOPLE SHOULD BE ALIVE! MY SON SHOULD BE ALIVE!" David's face was angry, furious. He snarled, "My son gave us our first victory against you when he destroyed the Black Star."

Delenn's face changed from sorrow to stern at that statement. David kept talking his voice tinged with anger, "Now, you recognize the name of Sheridan? My son John destroyed your Black Star. Once we brought our ships back, we gave him command of one of those Robotech ships and a small fleet to bring the war to your space. He was trying to buy us time, time for us to get more of our old ships operational by hitting your worlds and ships in hit and run attacks."

Looking at Kosh then at Delenn as he paused for a moment he resumed, "For reasons we still don't know, his ships suffered a failure and in perfect timing, a Minbari fleet outnumbering his by two to one jumped in and destroyed him and his ships." He shook his head. He looked at Kosh for a moment. Then he said, "We don't know what happened, we cannot figure it out...we have no transmissions from his fleet that could explain what happened but, your people got lucky Delenn. Had John been able to buy us that time we needed, we wouldn't be where we are right now."

Pointing at Delenn, David continued, "Look at your hands, Minbari. Look at those hands of yours Delenn. The blood of more than 30 billion souls stains those hands of yours and the hands of your people. You and your people will never be able to wash that away. You committed genocide over a stupid mistake. What shining examples of civility, of advanced civilization you showed to the entire galaxy. No wonder the galaxy has exploded into war and conflict. You and your people demonstrated that war is the answer to everything. That the death of one person warranted an entire race to be exterminated to the last."

"So now the galaxy is at war again. Once, when the Dilgar were the great threat to peace, my people stepped up and defended the League of Non Aligned Worlds. We went to war for the League and fought the Dilgar. We stood up. But when our need was great, no one stood up for us."

Delenn tried to interrupt but Secretary Sheridan wouldn't let her. "Listen carefully. We will never forgive you, we will never forget, and nor should anyone in the galaxy."

There was silence as the Secretary composed himself.

David looked to Kosh now. "And you, you could have stepped in at any time during the war and said "Stop. That's Enough." but you didn't. We were told that you Vorlons are an ancient race, a race that guided these Minbari. Where were you when we begged and pleaded for help? Now you have the gall, the audacity to come here and ask us to help you in a war? Ambassador Kosh, Delenn...we may be defeated but we still have our pride and we have no intention of helping the Minbari, the ones who almost wiped our race from existence. We are only a little over twenty two million people. That is a far cry from thirty billion. We escaped with just over twelve million and we don't have the luxury to send our military forces back to the Milky Way galaxy and fight for you."

David raised his hand, bringing up his index finger to point upwards. "But, I can assure you. When the time comes, whether it is one hundred years, one thousand, or even ten thousand years, humanity will return and claim back our homeworld. We will take it from whoever is holding it, whether they be Narn, Drazi, Centauri, Brakiri or even the Shadows themselves. Our home will be Home once more. That is a promise."

Delenn tried to keep calm. She needed to bring allies against the Shadows and their allies that were quickly growing in numbers and power. The humans with the strange new ships and weapons that they had used at the end of the war would be a tremendous boost for the Army of Light.

Delenn had no idea that humans managed to escape from the final battle. The Grey Council had assumed that all of the new ships...these Robotech ships had been destroyed in battles leading up to the assault on the human's homeworld and that humanity had not even managed to pull off a massive exodus other than a few scattered solitary ships crammed with humans in a vain effort to escape that were either hunted down by Minbari warrior caste or captured by other races and sold to the Minbari so that the humans could be killed.

Delenn felt a great deal of shame for what she had done. Her vote was the deciding factor in starting the war and once cast, she was unable to take it back. The human was right about the blood on her hands, she suffered from many nights of restless sleep, the voices of dying humans screaming over the different frequencies begging for mercy and receiving none. She wished with everything she had she could take it back.

When Kosh had appeared and told her that he needed her to accompany him on a journey to seek aid, Kosh never said anything that there were going to another galaxy, nor that they were going to find humans that had escaped the Minbari purge. The shock at finding a group, a sizable group of humans was incredible. She saw that they had a large fleet of warships that were visibly different than the ships they had fought against previously floating in orbit as well as a very large and brand new orbital defense grid. If the Minbari were to attack now, she severely doubted the outcome would be in her people's favor.

Delenn looked at Kosh who was just standing there in silence. She was hoping the Vorlon would say something.

The Vorlon Ambassador stood silently, his encounter suit head barely moving between as he looked at the human and the Minbari.

Secretary Sheridan had sat back down. Looking at the two aliens he questioned, "What part of you thought that this was a good idea to seek us out for help? We don't have enough people to just go to war for you in a galaxy where no one came to our aid. Why should we? The race that's asking for help tried to exterminate us over a stupid mistake of one person, and everyone else stood by and watched it happen. As I said, I don't need to bring your plea to my government as I already know their answer and that answer is No. Not just No, but Hell No."

Delenn stepped forward to stand in front of the conference room table. Glaring at the Secretary of State she said, "Your people attacked first! You fired the first shots and you killed the best of us. Dukhat was the best of us and you killed him!"

David remained sitting but he equally glared at Delenn. "And that is the reason an ENTIRE RACE must be exterminated?! One man's death warrants exterminating an entire race? No wonder our former galaxy is engulfed in war and everyone is trying to kill each other, you and your people gave everyone else the perfect excuse: If you could do it, so could they. For what reason do they have to listen to you? Your wisdom? What wisdom was there in our extermination? Frankly, I don't see it. No wisdom can come from a bully crushing the weak. A wise man once said, 'the needs of the many out weigh the needs of the few, or the one.' You should have taken the needs of your people more seriously before taking the path you walked. Look where you are now."

Delenn recoiled as if she'd been slapped.

David slammed his hand down on the table as he said, "We. Offered. To. Surrender." He stopped then You and your people rejected it and wiped out a civilization of over 30 billion people down to less than 15 million. Now you try and present yourselves as a "civilized" race to the rest of the galaxy while behind your back they're no doubt calling you thugs and murderers. How many allies do you have besides the Vorlons? Do you have less allies than these Shadows?" David looked at both Delenn and Kosh to gauge reactions. Kosh revealed nothing given that he was in his encounter suit but Delenn flinched a little. "If you find yourselves outnumbered, that right there should tell you what the rest of the galaxy thinks about the Minbari people."

David stood up again and placed his hands on the conference room table. "While I have given you my word that no harm will befall you Delenn, I cannot allow you to leave here. You would return to our former galaxy and inform your people that humans escaped the Minbari purge and your people would just send a war fleet here to try and finish the job even if it would take them more than a 1,000 years to journey here. We cannot allow that to happen. I promise you that you will be well treated, unlike how your people have treated humanity, there will be no torture, no harm shall come to you but you will be confined. Your cage will be a gilded one but it will be a cage nonetheless."

Delenn stepped back and shook her head. "No, no, you cannot do this!"

David was about to summon security when Ambassador Kosh spoke up. "Wait. Compromise proposed."

David hesitated, one of his hands was over the button that would call for security. He looked over to Kosh for a second then asked, "What sort of compromise?"

Kosh replied, "Memory erasure."

David took his hand away from the security button and put that hand to his chin as he considered the proposal. Delenn looked at Kosh with wide eyes.

The Secretary brought his hand down and gestured to Delenn. He inquired, "You can erase her memory so that she will not remember discovering that humans are alive?"

Kosh simply replied with one word. "Yes."

David pressed, "She will never get these memories back, even if a powerful telepath were to scan her mind?"

Kosh replied, "Yes."

David brought his hand back to his chin and scratched it in thought. He looked over to Delenn lowering his hand as he did so. "I think that is agreeable but that would depend on her. If she agrees to it, fine. But if not, she will have to stay here as our guest."

Delenn gave a pleading gesture. "Secretary Sheridan, I implore you to reconsider. We need your help. The galaxy needs your help-"

Secretary Sheridan cut her off, waving his hand in a dismissive gesture. "We don't have the people to spare. We are trying to rebuild ourselves from near extermination! Not since the Zentraedi's attack by Dolza's Grand Fleet on our planet have we been reduced to such few numbers." He didn't notice the Minbari's confusion at the mention of the Zentraedi as he paused briefly then resumed.

"I have no sympathy for your plight. We admitted our mistake, we offered apologies, reparations, a desire to correct the wrong. Your people chose to exterminate us over the actions of one man's poor decision. Now you find yourselves in a situation where you and your people are at risk." David's smile was that of a deep sea predator from Earth's oceans.

"We don't care what happens to you or your people Ambassador Kosh, your people never came to our aid. Hopefully, you and your people will weather the storm and survive. As for the Minbari", David shrugged his shoulders. "As for you Delenn, we will be hoping your people suffer greatly in this war. We will cheer for whoever takes it upon themselves to bring your government and your people to their knees."

Delenn paced the room then turned quickly to look at Secretary Sheridan. She asked, "May I please have a moment to speak with Ambassador Kosh in private?"

Blinking in confusion for a moment Secretary Sheridan looked at the two aliens then he grunted and said, "Fine. I'll be right outside." The man stood up and waked outside, the doors closing securely once he left the room.

The guards standing by outside looked confused, "Mister Secretary?", asked one.

Grunting in annoyance Secretary Sheridan waved his hand dismissively and said, "It's alright, they needed a moment to confer privately."

"What's going on sir? What does the Vorlon want?", asked the other guard.

Looking directly at the two guards Secretary Sheridan said, "What Vorlon? As far as everything is concerned there is nothing happening in that conference room. It's empty. You are posted at another part of the station. There is no Vorlon ship in the station." He stepped closer to both guards. "Do you understand?"

Both guards nodded their heads emphatically. "Yes sir!", they both declared.

Nodding his head in approval he added, "Good. You will be signing NDA's after this is all done. Speak of this to anyone and I guarantee you will not enjoy what happens to you and your families. Do you understand?"

Both guards nodded their heads and declared, "Yes sir!"

"Good."

Secretary Sheridan stepped back and leaned against the wall opposite of the door to the conference room and crossed his arms.

After Secretary Sheridan had left the conference room Delenn walked over to Ambassador Kosh and pointed her finger at him. With anger on her face she said, "Why did you bring me here?! You had to know that this would be their response! Why? Why Kosh?"

Kosh was silent at first then he spoke, the strange chimes accompanying his words. "Did not bring you here for your people, I brought you here for him and his people. To let him say what his people are unable to say to you and yours."

Delenn was shocked. "You brought me here so I could be humiliated?!"

Kosh replied, "No, I brought you here so this man and his people can heal."

Delenn walked away to the far side of the room then turned and walked back to face Kosh once more. She was very upset. "Do I regret what I have done? Yes. Do I wish I had not given the order? Yes. I tried to stop this war, I tried and failed. But I should have continued to try. He's right. I will never be able to wash the blood off of my hands and my people do not and most likely never will acknowledge the evil we have done."

She paused and took a deep breath then let it out. "He's right though, your people could have stepped in at any time and told us to stop and we would have. Why didn't you?"

Kosh was silent. He looked at Delenn for a period of time then he said, "Unlike you, I was overruled. Like you, I should have done more."

Delenn hissed. "What's going to happen Kosh? How will it end?"

Kosh was silent for several seconds. Then he said two words. "In fire."

Kosh turned and went towards the sliding doors. He gestured for Secretary Sheridan to rejoin them. Delenn was out of the view of the guards. The politician reentered the room, the doors sliding shut behind him.

"All done I take it?", Secretary Sheridan asked. He looked at the two aliens inquiringly.

Kosh replied, "Yes."

Secretary Sheridan looked at Ambassador Kosh and said, "Let's get this memory erasure procedure done so that you can be on your way. I will accompany you to make sure it is done."

The Secretary moved to the door. Gesturing to Delenn he remarked, "You need to conceal yourself again. If any of our people see you, they'll kill you. I will reveal your presence after you have left to my superiors and explain everything."

Delenn put her hood back on as well as placing the veil over her face to obscure her features. Once that was done Secretary David Sheridan along with the guards outside the conference room led the two aliens back to the hanger where the Vorlon Ambassador's ship was docked.

There was a brief delay as the Secretary explained he had been invited aboard the Vorlon ship by the Ambassador. He kept the reason for that invitation to himself but after a few minutes of discussion with other members of the Earth Government in Exile he walked across the gangway then up the ramp to the Vorlon Ambassador's ship.

The inside of the Vorlon ship was a marvel. David looked at the ship in awe but moved quickly when directed to by Ambassador Kosh. The Vorlon directed David and Delenn to a room that seemed to open magically. Delenn removed her hood and veil and turned to look at David.

Looking at David with a pleading expression she said, "Secretary Sheridan, I implore you to reconsider and speak with your government about coming to our aid."

David shook his head and looked at Delenn flatly. "No." He looked at Kosh and said, "Let's get this over with."

Rising out of the floor was a chair not dissimilar from a dentist patient's chair. Delenn was directed by Kosh to sit. Deleen did so and the chair was adjusted for Delenn's comfort on its own.

Kosh was standing by a console that had also magically risen out of the floor. Kosh said, "It will not take long and it will not be painful."

David nodded his head, "I see."

The Vorlon had been correct, the procedure was not very long and Delenn didn't seem to be in any pain. He watched as the Vorlon tested Delenn and was able to prove to David that Delenn's memories of this meeting were no longer in her mind.

The Secretary saw that Delenn was asleep now. Looking down at the sleeping Minbari first then looking at the Vorlon. He asked, "Why did you come here? You had to know that we wouldn't be able nor willing to help the Minbari or you."

The Vorlon was quiet, the strange chimes the only sound then Ambassador Kosh spoke, "For you, for your people."

Looking at Kosh, David replied, "I don't understand."

Kosh replied, "In time, perhaps you will."

David shook his head, "No, no, no that's not enough. This is the first contact between our two species. We begged for your help, we pleaded, our broadcasts into your sector of space went unheard. As an Elder race, your people should have done something!"

"When the Dilgar began their conquests, did the Minbari do anything? Did you? No. Two of the oldest races in the galaxy and both of the did nothing, just stood by and ate popcorn I guess." David glared at the Vorlon.

David paced the small room and gestured with his hands as he spoke. "We couldn't allow the Dilgar to be the eight hundred pound gorilla and wipe out the rest of the League. We didn't want to kill them all, we tried to get them to talk peace, but like the Minbari they decided to fight with weapons instead of diplomacy."

"Ambassador, you and the rest of the galaxy have a serious problem. More than three hundred years ago a man had these words to say after a horrible holocaust took place on our planet. It's been adapted, paraphrased over the decades and centuries by various groups, but I will start off and recite the original words for you."

David stopped his pacing and faced Kosh. He took a breath then began to recite the words he had memorized as a young idealistic man. "First they came for the socialists, and I did not speak out—because I was not a socialist. Then they came for the trade unionists, and I did not speak out— because I was not a trade unionist. Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out—because I was not a Jew.

Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me."

David paused for a moment then pointed his finger at Kosh. "Now, you can take these words with you as you lave. First they came for the humans, and I did not speak out – because I was not human. Then they came for the Centauri, and I did not speak out-–because I was not Centauri. Then they came for the Drazi, and I did not speak out—because I was not Drazi. Then they came for me—and there was no one left to speak for me." David looked at Kosh with a little sadness, but mostly determination. "Ambassador, had your people intervened, perhaps our former galaxy would not be the firestorm it currently is. You said earlier that what happened to us was a tragedy, no Ambassador it was not a tragedy, it was a war crime and the fact that the Minbari, your people, and whoever else is allied with you are in danger of losing this war only shows that perhaps you backed the wrong people."

David turned and walked out of the room, followed by Ambassador Kosh. He walked down the ramp that magically appeared just as he desired to leave the ship. The Ambassador stopped at the door.

"Farewell, David Sheridan. Your people will thrive here in this galaxy and bring about a New Age. When your people return to your former galaxy, you will bring about great change."

David turned around and faced the Vorlon. "Farewell then. I take it we won't be receiving another visit from you or another of your people?"

Kosh was silent then said, "No."

The ramp magically disappeared and folded into the ship, the door magically closing as well. David quickly walked off of the hanger and moved to the observation deck. Then the Vorlon ship powered up, the squid like vessel lifted off of the deck of the hanger and slowly moved out of the station and into open space.

The Vorlon ship moved quickly away from the station and once it was clear of any traffic, it opened a jump point and accelerated into it and the Vorlon was gone.

A Few Centuries Later…

The Planet Formerly Called Earth

Centuries had passed since the race that once lived on this verdant green world had been exterminated by the race known as the Minbari.

The planet had been bombarded heavily by the Minbari and the race known as Humanity had fought tooth and nail, making the Minbari pay a very heavy price in blood. The losses the Minbari had suffered in space were far greater than any of their projections and with blood boiling, after their initial bombardments, they deployed their Warriors onto the planet itself so that they could slake their thirst for human blood.

It had taken a long time, but it was done. Humanity had been exterminated for the death of the greatest Minbari, their leader Dukhat.

After their extermination the Minbari left the world, letting anyone lay claim to it and immediately the Centauri did so, bringing advanced equipment to repair the damage and make the world habitable once more. It took time but it worked.

Shortly after the Centauri had begun colonizing the planet, war exploded in the galaxy again.

The Shadow War.

This war destroyed many worlds, it brought the Vorlons out of their self imposed exile to help the lesser races but when they emerged, it was too little and it was almost too late.

Several races died during this war. The Abbai, Brakiri, Centauri, Gaim Intelligence, Androma Republic, Markab Confederacy, the Pak'ma'ra, Ventuki Conglomerate were just some of the races that had fallen in this galaxy spanning war.

The Minbari emerged victorious but they were diminished greatly after this war and retreated into their space to try and rebuild. They were angry that so many races failed to listen to them and in fact turned hostile to the Minbari over the Minbari's extermination of Humanity.

If it wasn't for the Vorlon's assistance, the Minbari would have been wiped out.

The Narn had taken aid from mysterious benefactors that turned out to be the Shadows and with their aid, they had finally built up their military and were the first to fire the first shots in what became the Shadow War.

From there, the war expanded, and like a small fire it grew so large so quickly that soon every race was in a war for survival.

When it as all over, the war had changed the galaxy once more. The Vorlons vanished, the Shadows were gone, the Minbari retreated to their core planets to rebuild and repair, zealously defending their space. The Narn had been defeated and the victors punished the Narn harshly.

The star system belonging to humanity changed owners. First the Centauri, then when the Narn defeated the Centauri the Narn took possession. After the Narn were defeated, the star system was left unclaimed for a long time until another race decided to take it.

Since they laid claim to it, they held onto the star system that once belonged to Humanity.

Now, centuries later, the former star system of humanity began to see what appeared to be objects appearing outside the planet's gravity well. Quickly, thousands and thousands of objects were appearing. Alerts were sounding throughout the planet and the ships that were the military forces that had laid claim to this world.

It quickly became apparent that these objects were ships. Warships to be precise and now there were over one million of these warships appearing in space. When the last of these mysterious ships had appeared, there were three million warships of different sizes between the worlds once called Earth and Mars.
